The Effects of the 4th Industrial Revolution on the Capability of Smart Manufacturing (4차 산업혁명이 스마트 제조 역량에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on manufacturing are spreading by policies to secure or strengthen the manufacturing competitiveness of each country. Strengthening policies on manufacturing necessitate nurturing manpower for smart manufacturing. This study examines the difference of the experts' perception about the educational curriculum to develop the knowledge of Product Lifecycle which covers the whole knowledge area of product development among the knowledge areas aimed at fostering the manpower of smart manufacturing for the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution Era. Experts were aware that future developments in digital development, production, and new product development are most important, and that they feel that the whole knowledge area is generally weak. In this study, the implications for the development of educational curriculum in the future are derived from the perception difference of knowledge on Product Lifecycle obtained through expert survey.

  • Development of the digital technology made possible the Integrated media that is combined computer with information network technology. Integrated media is the data transferring method through the multimedia, and has been developed by the similar form with the human's information transferring system. For that reason, interface has been developed as the important theme, Human Computer Interaction, according to the formal development. Using interface is not activated yet for the lack of connection with various divisions and the system of the product development although interfaces formatic development is re-arranged and re-established in design. This is the try to construct new model of the interface by re-arrange of the factors for the information transferring form development on the ground of the mp3 service vending machine development. Interface is divided into logical I formatic and hardware I software for he systematic classification and also arranged so that anybody can understand. Consequently, presenting of the new integrated interface paradigm can make possible to suggest the fundamental framework that is the new direction of the design re-arranged by the integrated media.

  • 한국방송(KBS)은 전자통신연구원(ETRI)과 공동으로 송수신 안테나의 낮은 분리도(isolation)하에서도 운용이 용이하며 중계기 내부의 왜곡을 보상할 수 있는 DOCR(Digital On-Channel Repeater)을 개발하였다. 개발된 DOCR의 성능과 서비스 커버리지를 측정하기 위하여 수원 지역에서 2004년과 2005년 두 차례의 필드테스트를 공동으로 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 개발된 DOCR시스템에 대하여 그 특징을 설명하고 수원 지역에서 실시된 필드테스트 결과를 분석한다. 또한, 다양한 세대의 ATSC 수신기를 측정에 사용함으로써 수신기 성능에 따른 DOCR 서비스 커버리지의 변화를 측정하였다. 측정결과에는 DOCR의 사용에 따른 수신성공률, 수신마진, 수신용이성(수신가능각도)등이 포함되며 측정 지역의 수 년간의 테스트 결과를 종합하여 서비스 범위내의 수신성능을 분석한다.

A SPEC-T Viterbi decoder implementation with reduced-comparison operation (비교 연산을 개선한 SPEC-T 비터비 복호기의 구현)

  • The Viterbi decoder, which employs the maximum likelihood decoding method, is a critical component in forward error correction for digital communication system. However, lowering power consumption on the Viterbi decoder is a difficult task since the number of paths calculated equals the number of distinctive states of the decoder and the Viterbi decoder utilizes trace-back method. In this paper, we propose a method which minimizes the number of operations performed on the comparator, deployed in the SPEC-T Viterbi decoder implementation. The proposed comparator was applied to the ACSU(Add-Compare-Select Unit) and MPMSU(Minimum Path Metric Search Unit) modules on the decoder. The proposed ACS scheme and MPMS scheme shows reduced power consumption by 10.7% and 11.5% each, compared to the conventional schemes. When compared to the SPEC-T schemes, the proposed ACS and MPMS schemes show 6% and 1.5% less power consumption. In both of the above experiments, the threshold value of 26 was applied.

패키지 소프트웨어 품질평가모형 개발 및 적용에 관한 연구

  • 세계 소프트웨어 시장의 급속한 성장과 함께 선진국들은 자국에 유리한 소프트웨어 품질표준을 만들어 이를 국제 표준에 반영하고, 외국 소프트웨어에 대한 진입 규제의 수단으로 활용하고 있다. 또한 전자상거래의 발달로 인해 디지털 상품인 소프트웨어는 전자상거래를 통한 거래가 쉬운 이점을 가지고 있는 상황에서 아직 우리나라에서는 패키지 소프트웨어에 관한 품질모형 개발에 관한 연구가 다소 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 국내외 소프트웨어 품질평가모형을 도출하고, 그 평가모형을 바탕으로 전자상거래에서 활용 가능한 패키지 소프트웨어만을 대상으로 품질평가모형을 개발하였다. 그리고 평가모형을 적용하기에 앞서 소프트웨어 개발 업체를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 품질평가모형에 대한 실증분석을 하였다. 실증분석은 현재 개발업체가 취급하고 있는 제품에 대한 종류와 개발업체에서 평가받기를 원하는 제품의 종류, 그리고 평가대상이 될 수 있는 패키지 소프트웨어 제품의 경쟁력 수준과 관련하여 선진국의 제품과 비교하여 5점 척도로 조사하였다. 그리고 소프트웨어 개발자 입장에서 품질평가 항목별로 중요도를 조사하였으며 분석결과를 토대로 품질평가모형의 적용 대상을 선정하였다. 적용대상 제품은 모두 14개로 각각의 제품들을 게임, OA, 통신, ERP, 4GL, OS 소프트웨어로 분류하고 제품에 대한 평가는 개발자(개발경력 3년 이상)와 일반사용자로 분류하여 평가를 실시하였다. 그리고 각 제품분야별로 평가항목에 대한 가중치를 전문가 집단에 의뢰하여 적용하였다. 평가방법은 각각의 제품에 대한 평가점수를 1점부터 5점까지 나누어 평가결과를 평균값으로 나타냈으며, 평가결과에 대해 여러 가지 방법으로 분석하였다. 첫째, 동종제품간 평가분석을 통하여 각각의 제품을 비교하였으며, 둘째 소프트웨어 종류별 평가로 제품을 응용소프트웨어, 응용개발도구, 시스템 소프트웨어로 분류하여 평균값으로 비교하였다. 셋째, 국내외 제품별 평가분석으로 전체 제품을 국내제품과 국외제품으로 분류하여 비교하였으며, 마지막으로 총괄분석을 통해 가중치를 적용하여 전 제품의 점수를 비교하였다. 여기에서는 각 제품의 평균점수에 대한 차이를 95%의 유의수준으로 T-Test를 실시하였다.

  • A high frequency resonant inverter consisting of iliree unit Half-Bridge serial resommt inverter used as power source of induction heatmg at high frequency is presented in this paper. As a output [Dwer control strategy, sequencial time-sharing gate contml methcd is applied. This methcd is TDM(Time Division Multiplexing), which is broadly used with digital and analog signals transmission in communication system 1be analysis of the proposed circuit is generally described by using the normalized pararmenters. Also, the principle of basic operating and the its characteristics are estimated by the parameters such as switching frequency, load resistance. Also, according to the calculated characteristics value, a method of the circuit design and operating characteristics of the inverter is proposed. This paper proves the validity of theoretical analysis through the Pspice. This proposed inverter show that it can be practically used in future as power source system for induction heating application, DC-DC converter etc. r etc.

  • The mucociliary system is one of the most important airway defense mechanisms in human body and impairment of ciliary movement results in various diseases in respiratory tract. In this study, we have developed a system that can measure ciliary movement in vivo and quantified ciliary beat frequency (CBF) through autoregressive (AR) power spectrum. To measure the frequency in vivo, we applied a photoelectric method that was composed of a laser light and a fiber optic probe. Scattered signals are transferred to a PC in which they are displayed on the monitor and its CBF is determined by the AR method in were acquired. For 8 normal subjects, the analyzed CBFs ranged from 5 to 10Hz and its mean was 7.3${\pm}$1.1Hz. This result showed similar aspects to the reported results of CBFs to data. We expect that this result will be applied in various clinical studies such as analysis of CBF changes by drugs or by diseaes.

  • In this paper, SER(Symbol Error Rate) variation and effects on SER by phase noise at various frequency offset of the local oscillator in digital communication systems are gerneralyzed for QPSK(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying), MQAM(M-ary Quadrature Amplitude Modulation), OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex)-MQAM, OFDM-QPSK and 8-VSB(Vestigal Side Bands) modulation methods and compared those with the ideal cases, which have no phase noise, through the MATLAB simulation. And the ration between modulation bandwidths and the SER on the various frequency offsets on the above modulation methods have been analyzed for the system requirement of minimum phase noise characteristics. From this study, we have confirmed that the most sensitive modulation method on the phase noise is OFDM-MQAM and that the relatively insensitive method 8-VSB.

  • Diabetes is a common disease today, and there are also many cases of developing into serious complications called Diabetic Foot Ulcers(DFU). Diagnosis and prevention of DFU in advance is an important task, and this paper proposes the method. Based on existing studies introduced in the paper, it can be seen that foot pressure and temperature information are deeply correlated with DFU. Introduce the process and architecture of SmarTinsole, an IoT device that measures these indicators. Also, the paper describes the preprocessing process for AI-based diagnosis of DFU. Through the comparison of the measured pressure graph and the actual human step distribution, it presents the results that multiple information collected in real-time from SmarTinsole are more efficient and reliable than the previous study.

  • The study examines the current status of introducing technological innovation in the Uzbekistan logistics industry and proposes opportunities and challenging factors for the logistics industry following the introduction of technological innovation in the future. The analysis results revealed that the information technology used in the Uzbekistan logistics industry following technologies: RFID, barcode, Cool Guardian, tracking system, transport satellite monitoring, digital TIR, and GPS monitoring. In addition, Uzbekistan has recently been increasing investment in advanced information and communication technology not only at the corporate level but also at the governmental level in anticipation of becoming a hub for logistics. Based on these analysis results, the Uzbekistan logistics industry's proposed opportunities and challenging factors can be used as basic information for government policymakers, transportation and logistics companies, and various partners. It can also be used by logistic companies that seek to take advantage of Uzbekistan's strategic location to create a logistics hub in Central Asia.
