The use of digital information technology has become important in order to effectively respond to changes in production conditions in Korean agriculture, which are continuously worsening due to a decrease in the rural population, deepening aging, and climate change. Accordingly, this study analyzed the factors affecting farmers' adoption of information devices use and the effect of information devices use on agricultural product sales using the propensity score matching method. As a result of the analysis, it was found that low-age farmers, high-education farmers, and leading farmers are highly likely to adopt use of information devices. For farms with similar characteristics such as age, management size, and farming type, it has been confirmed that farms that have adopted information devices use in agricultural management have higher sales of agricultural products. Therefore, increasing farmers' access to information and the ability to use information devices provides implications that farm income can be improved. The government's informatization support project in the agricultural and rural sectors is important so that farmers can have the ability to distribute informatization devices and utilize agricultural information, and active investment should also be made in information infrastructure.

The objective of this paper is to investigate the issues related to the supply chain management in plant engineering industry, and propose the framework to improve the project efficiency. The preliminary case study shows that EPC's fragmented nature, lack of coordination and information sharing, and lack of proper risk and change management contribute to project delay and cost overrun. To examine the level of informatization and information sharing in supply chain, survey responses from the suppliers and subcontractors have been collected. The statistical results show that information sharing, early involvement in design process and awareness in SCM have influenced the level of collaboration, but supplier assessment and informatization have no impact on the collaboration. A conceptual model is proposed in order to facilitate the integration of design, procurement and construction functions. Implications from the study are also provided.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of digital literacy, which is the future core competency of new civil servants who will support the services of the public while most of the civil service processing is replaced by the information technology. To do this, we analyzed the recognition and level of technical literacy, code literacy, media literacy, news literacy, and social media literacy by dividing 180 people including new appointees, prospective students, and practitioners into 5 digital literacy subjects. Based on this, we developed an improved social media curriculum. This study suggests that the civil service education and training program can be turned into a learner - centered curriculum.

인터넷의 발달과 정보화 기술의 발전에 따라 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있는 멀티미디어 정보, 원문자료, 웹 정보, 전자저널 등 디지털 화된 정보를 종합적으로 관리하면서 네트워크를 통해 사용자들에게 정보를 제공하는 전자도서관 서비스에 대한 요구가 급증하고 있으며, 이런 요구로 인하여 디지털 컨텐츠를 가지고 있는 도서관에서는 컨텐츠의 효율적인 관리 방안에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 인터넷 정보 서비스의 대부분이 라이센스 협정에 의한 정보 이용형태의 수준을 탈피하지 못하고 있어, 이용자에게 제공되는 정보 서비스를 단순한 링크 형태로 제공하는 것이 현재 전자도서관의 형태이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 인식하여 전자도서관을 통해 서비스되고 있는 인터넷 정보 서비스를 자관 환경에 맞게 재구성하고, 로컬 전자도서관 시스템과 연동할 수 있도록 상용 인터넷 정보 서비스 제어 및 이를 위한 제어 시스템에 대한 방안을 제시하였다.

The aim of this study was to empirically investigate the difference in life satisfaction between people with disabilities who utilize the Internet and those who do not. The study also found out through an interaction term analysis if there were differences in their life satisfaction and digital utilization by gender, age, education level, employment status, household income, as well as personal characteristics such as disability type and degree. While the existing studies have been mainly focused on the digital divide between the non-disabled and the disabled, this study attempts to further apply the advanced concept of digital divide - digital utilization divide - within the group of people with disabilities. Based on these research findings, this study shows that the digital utilization by people with disabilities has a statistically significant effect on their quality of life, and that life satisfaction of the people with disabilities who use the Internet is affected by their education level, residence, and disability degree. Consequently, these findings indicate implications that suggest an expanded form of digital divide policies for people with disabilities through broadening perspectives on policies for closing such divide.

"만약 누군가 지금 나의 컴퓨터를 지켜보고 있지는 않을까?" 최근 디지털 정보화 사회가 되면서 항상 신경 쓰이는 문제, 보안이다. 컴퓨터가 발전하면 할수록 악성코드와 바이러스가 더욱 진화하기 때문이다. 인터넷이 대중화되기 이전에는 해킹 방식의 바이러스보다는 컴퓨터를 다운시키거나 하드디스크를 날리는 악성코드가 유행했지만, 요즘은 사용자의 개인정보에서 공인인증서까지 빼내는 해킹수법이 다양해지고 있다. 아무리 백신 프로그램을 사용하고, 기술적으로 고도화된 암호를 만들어 첨단 방화벽을 사용한다 한들, 작정하고 취약점을 찾는 해커의 공격을 완전히 피하기는 어렵다. 해킹을 통해 철통 같은 보안 능력을 갖춘 대기업의 기밀문서를 빼내는 건 종종 있는 일이고, 포털 사이트의 회원 정보를 통째로 훔쳐가는 일도 간혹 벌어진다. 하물며 민간인이 사용하는 개인 킴퓨터의 보안쯤이야 전문 해커들에게는 종잇장 같은 수준이 아닐까.

Despite growing interest and attention from researchers and practitioners in management studies, empirical research has been limited on how factors that influence an organization's business performance are affected by certain characteristics of enterprise information systems (IS), such as maturity and infrastructure. This study reports on an empirical analysis of survey data to identify relationships among the informatization level, the business environment, and IS maturity and infrastructure related to business performance-based on financial and non-financial performance measurements-from the perspective of 136 Taiwan firms. The survey questionnaire respondents were drawn from individuals in each of these firms who were typically working in divisions related to business performance functions. Structural equation modeling was used to test the hypotheses that came from the research model in this study.

This study explored the Dis-Functional(DF) factors associated with the information and utilization of the R&D outcomes which has been left behind in the environmental & energy science research field. Of the total of 225 sample surveyed, exactly 66.2% responded to the questions about DF factors. The major factors that have been experienced by the respondents included the followings : the shortage of manpower and budget, inadequate network utilities of resource sharing, unstable policies of digitalization of R&D databases and of presenting a specimen copy(not only report itself but also experimental data), deficient knowledge resource system for the specialized sub-research areas, absence of the process of TLO and commercialization of R&D results, and underestimation of the significance of quality control (evaluation) of academic and research information. Some recommendations for utilization of the R&D outcomes were suggested according to the DF factors investigated.

Despite the rapid expansion and diversification of the global ship repair and shipbuilding market, the domestic ship repair and shipbuilding industry is losing competitiveness due to a lack of infrastructure compared to its high technology level, concentration of new markets, aging technology personnel, lack of IT systems, and small businesses. Although attempts have been made to develop information systems at a very low level compared to other industries, there are few successful cases. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to understand the necessity of strategic integration and organizational integration from the perspective of informatization in the ship repair and shipbuilding industry through a survey of companies operating in Busan. After that, through face-to-face interviews with major repair shipyard companies in Busan, the direction of the development of the information system of the ship repair and shipbuilding industry was derived. The results of this study are expected to enhance the need for digital conversion of the ship repair and shipbuilding industry in the future and provide a significant direction for the establishment and application process of information systems.

To improve educational excellence and quality, academies carry forward integrative security model related to academic affairs including personal information. This paper proposes an integrative security model for academic affairs database, which guarantees DBMS access control, confidentiality, integrity, and security inspection. This proposed model considered that most academies can't make good use of data security product and suggests a detailed measure to realize the confidentiality based on the function of DBMS.
