오늘날 모듈러 건축 방식으로 주거시설에 대한 설계와 건설이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 모듈러 기반의 주거시설에서는 자유로운 공간의 변형이 필요시 발생하기 때문에 홈 자동화 시스템에 대해서도 새로운 방식의 도입이 필요할 것으로 예상되어진다. 즉 기존의 홈자동화 시스템에서는 사전에 계획된 자동화 설계에 따라 유선 센서들을 기반으로 개발되어지고 있는데 공간의 변화가 이루어지는 모듈러 방식에서는 기존의 고정이면서 유선 방식의 센서 기반의 자동화 시스템은 적합하지 않을 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 모듈러 건축 방식에서는 역동적인 공간 변화에 따라 필요 센서들의 수와 종류가 변화고 센서의 위치도 변화기 때문에 이러한 다양한 변경 요소를 자동적으로 받아들여 홈자동화 시스템을 구축하는 시스템이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모듈러 건축 방식으로 구축된 주거시설에서 센서 인식을 자동으로 할 수 있고, 사용자 인터페이스를 자동으로 생성하여 변화하는 공간에 적응하는 홈자동화 시스템을 연구 개발하였다.

타워팰리스 3차 현장은 국내에서 현존하는 건축물로서 가장 높은 63빌딩보다 약 30m 정도 더 높은 초고층 주상 복합건물이다. 초고층 건축현장에는 일반현장과는 다른 시공기술과 기법이 적용되는 바, 당 현장에는 기존의 타워팰리스 1차와 2차에 적용되었던 초고층 시공기술을 기반으로 좀 더 발전된 시공기술과 공정관리기법을 적용하여 선진국에 버금가는 속도로 공사가 추진되고 있다. 당 현장에 적용된 여러 시공기술 중에서 콘크리트와 관련된 주요 기술은 1) Mat 기초에 적용된 무다짐(또는 고유동화)콘크리트, 2) Mat 기초에 적용된 Closed Pipe Cooling System, 3) Core ACS Form에 적용된 고강도 콘크리트, 4) 기둥에 적용한 800 kg/$m^2$ 초고강도 콘크리트, 5) 스포츠동 기둥에 적용될 CFT용 고유동화 콘크리트, 6) 주차램프 바닥의 조면처리용 섬유보강콘크리트 등이다.

The purpose of this study is to arrange the design elements and methods for sustainable community. After made the concept of sustainable community clear in the contemporary architecture and urban design, this study examines rural ecovillage, urban demonstration project, co-housing, new urbanism and urban village, and ecological township as the application modes of sustainable community. Through the cases of the application mode, the design elements for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: the symbiosis system with the nature, permaculture and edible landscape, identity, the technology for saving of resources and energy, the traffic system for the reduction of private motor use, mixed use development, and the housing with diversity. And the design methods for sustainable community were summarized as the followings: strategic planning, visioning, community action planning, workshops and charrette, environmental evaluation, and participation techniques.

The purpose of this study is to propose the design elements useful to give place identity to street space. The theory for place identity is studied and the components-Physical element, Sense, Program, Activity, Context-for identity of place is created. In the case study of SamcheongdongGil, the qualitative research method of Free Picturing Technique and Cognitive Mapping is executed and the samples gathered from the research are analyzed. In the process of analysis, the contents of qualitative evaluation by users is put in order as components for identity of place. Moreover, the design elements for street space are extracted from the case study and theories of urban design. The design elements are summarized as the followings: street pattern with high permeability, various streetscapes, greenscapes, semi public(private) spaces, the third places, public arts, transparent facades, and outdoor activities. Finally, the fruits and boundary of this study are described and the importance of place identity is.
