Enhanced Knowledge Representation for Reusing Knowledge Bases (지식베이스의 재사용을 위한 향상된 지식 표현)

  • 본 논문에서는 합법적인 지식 표현이 그것을 사용하는 응용 시스템과 완전히 독립적이 되어야 한다는 점에 대해서 논의한다. 이것은 동형 표현을 제공해 주고 지식베이스 유지보수를 더 쉽게 하며 오류를 줄여줄 뿐만 아니라 몇몇 지식 기반 시스템에서 합법적인 지식을 공유하고 재사용하기 위한 필요조건이다. 본 논문에서는 지식 베이스의 재사용을 위한 향상된 지식 표현을 위해 하이브리드 지식 표현 접근방법을 제안한다. 이것은 합법적인 표현 컴포넌트를 공통 용어로 사용하여 컴포넌트에 연결함에 의해서 응용시스템의 표현 컴포넌트와 통합한다. 때때로 이와 같은 통합이 응용시스템의 제어 흐름 요구사항에 따르지 않는 경우도 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 일방적인 의존성을 도입해서 재사용되어지는 지식 베이스가 변경되지 않도록 하는 해결책을 제안한다. 또한 지식 기반 의사결정 지원 시스템에서 합법적인 지식베이스를 통합하기 위한 응용을 논의하여 제안하는 접근방법을 설명한다.

  • 한국어 목적격 조사를 몽골어 격 어미로 번역할 때 한국어 목적격 조사가 몽골어의 여러 격 어미로 번역이 될 수 있는데, 기존의 연구들은 한가지 격 어미로만 번역해 정확한 의미를 전달하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 이런 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 한국어 형태소 분석과 동시에 품사 및 동형이의어 태깅 시스템인 유태거(UTagger)를 기반으로 한국어 목적격 조사의 몽골어 격 어미 결정 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 한국어기초사전에서 데이터를 추출하고 유태거와 비교 실험하였다. 실험 결과 유태거의 정확률은 72%인데 반해 제안한 방법은 94%로 제안한 방법이 22%p 더 우수한 결과를 보였다.

  • Neural machine translation (NMT) has recently achieved the state-of-the-art performance. However, it is reported failing in the word sense disambiguation (WSD) for several popular language pairs. In this paper, we explore the extent to which NMT systems are able to disambiguate the Korean homographs. Homographs, words with different meanings but the same written form, cause the word choice problems for NMT systems. Consistent with the popular language pairs, we discover that NMT systems fail to translate Korean homographs correctly. We provide a Korean word sense disambiguation tool-UTagger to use for improvement of NMT's translation quality. We conducted translation experiments using Korean-English and Korean-Vietnamese language pairs. The experimental results show that UTagger can significantly improve the translation quality of NMT in terms of the BLEU, TER, and DLRATIO evaluation metrics.

  • The three-dimensional laminar mixed convection flow between the conductive printed circuit boards. on which the heat generating rectangular blocks are uniformly distributed, has been examined in the present study. The flow and heat-transfer characteristics are assumed to be pseudo periodic in the streamwise direction and symmetric in the cross-stream direction. Using an algorithm of SIMPLER, the continuity equation. the Navier-Stokes equations and the energy equation are solved numerically in the three-dimensional domain Inside the channel. The convective derivative terms are discretized by the QUICK scheme to accurately capture the flow field. The flow and the heat transfer characteristics are thoroughly examined for various Re and Gr.

  • 이 논문은 최적 제어 설계방법 중 하나인 LQR 제어기의 과도 상태를 개선하는 방법에 관한 연구이다. 적절한 상태가중행렬과 제어가중행렬을 설정한 후 대수 Riccati 방정식을 풀면 LQR 제어기가 설계된다. 그런데 이 가중행렬은 시행착오 방법을 이용하여 설정하기 때문에 설계된 제어기의 과도 상태를 개선하기 하기가 매우 어렵다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 closed-loop 근과 가중행렬과의 상관관계를 수학적으로 표현하고, 이를 바탕으로 설계조건을 만족하도록 시스템의 근을 이동시키는 가중행렬을 구하는 방법을 제시한다. 원운동형 도립진자(rotary type inverted pendulum)를 통해 matlab 모의실험으로 그 타당성을 검증한다. 얻어진 결과를 이용하면 원하는 극점을 갖는 LQR 제어기를 체계적으로 설계할 수 있다.

  • In order to prepare new video coding standard, ITU-T SG16/Q.6 VCEG is gathering high efficiency and low complexity coding tools. In this paper, we introduce the latest KTA codec that includes new coding tools such as AIF, APEC, AQMS, AQP, IBDI, MDDT, MVC, 1/8-pel MC, and RDO-Q. After that, we describe the our prospection and strategy for these future video coding technology.

Geometric Path Tracking and Obstacle Avoidance Methods for an Autonomous Navigation of Nonholonomic Mobile Robot (비홀로노믹 이동로봇의 자율주행을 위한 기하학적 경로 추종 및 장애물 회피 방법)

  • This paper presents a method that integrates the geometric path tracking and the obstacle avoidance for nonholonomic mobile robot. The mobile robot follows the path by moving through the turning radius given from the pure pursuit method which is the one of the geometric path tracking methods. And the obstacle generates the obstacle potential, from this potential, the virtual force is obtained. Therefore, the turning radius for avoiding the obstacle is calculated by proportional to the virtual force. By integrating the turning radius for avoiding the obstacle and the turning radius for following the path, the mobile robot follows the path and avoids the obstacle simultaneously. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through the real experiments for path tracking only, static obstacle avoidance, dynamic obstacle avoidance.

  • Automotive suspension system is a mechanism for isolation of the vibration coming from the road inputs. Recently, the electronically controlled suspension systems which may improve ride and handling performance have been developed. Here, the continuously controlled semi-active suspension system is focused. As a mechanism to control damping forces continuously, a solenoid valve is used. The modeling for the solenoid valve is introduced briefly, a vehicle dynamics modeling is constructed, and then combined system model is completed. To design the efficient control algorithm for the semiactive suspension system the knowledge based fuzzy logic is applied and the technique how to apply the sky-hook theory to the fuzzy logic is developed. Finally, to confirm the improvement of performance the computer simulation is carried out.

  • A reciprocating compressor unit with variable rotating speed driven by BLDC motor is mounted inside hermetic chamber on an internal suspension composed of 4 coil springs and a discharge pipe. A method for predicting the dynamic behavior of compressor frame is required to reduce the transmitted vibration level. Mechanical characteristics such as mass, spring and discharge pipe stiffness properties are obtained with experimentation. To confirm the vibration model for compressor frame, free vibration analyses are performed with theoretical and experimental methods. Results for analytical and experimental investigations on dynamic behavior of the compressor frame are presented, and the agreement between measured and predicted results are satisfactory.

  • This paper presents a method of constructing the Multiple-Valued Logic Systems(MVLS) over Finite Fields(FF) using by Decision Diagram(DD) that is based on Graph Theory. The proposed method is as following. First, we derivate the Ordered Multiple-Valued Logic Decision Diagram(OMVLDD) based on the multiple-valued Shannon's expansion theorem and we execute function decomposition using by sub-graph. Next, we propose the variable selecting algorithm and simplification algorithm after apply the each isomorphism and reodering vertex. Also we propose MVLS design method.
