Microstructures and Electrochemical Properties of Si-M (M : Cr, Ni) as Alloy Anode for Li Secondary Batteries (리튬이차전지용 Si-M (M : Cr, Ni) 합금 음극의 미세구조와 전기화학적 특성)

  • To compare the microstructure and electrochemical properties between two binary alloys (Cr-Si, Ni-Si), two composition of binary alloys with the same capacity were selected using phase-diagram and prepared by matrix-stabilization method to suppress the volume expansion of Si by inactive-matrix. Master alloys were made by Arc-melting followed by fine structured ribbon sample preparation by Rapid Solidification Process (RSP, Melt-spinning method) under the same conditions. Also powder samples were produced by wet grinding for X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical measurements. As predicted from the phase diagram, only active-Si and inactive-matrix ($CrSi_2$, $NiSi_2$) were detected. The results of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy - Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (TEM-EDS) show that Cr-Si alloy has finer microstructure than Ni-Si alloy, which was also predictable through phase diagram. The electrochemical properties related to microstructure were evaluated by coin type full- and half-cells. Separately, self-designed test-cells were used to measure the volume expansion of Si during reaction. Volume expansion of Cr-Si alloy electrode with finer microstructure was suppressed significantly and improved in cycle capability, in comparison Ni-Si alloy with coarse microstructure. From these, we could infer the correlation of microstructure, volume expansion and electrochemical degradation and these properties might be predicted by phase diagram.

A Study on the Sedmentary Facies Change in the Tidal Flat Using High Spatial Resolution Remotely Sensed Data (고해상도 위성영상을 활용한 갯벌 퇴적상 변화 연구)

  • The surface sediment distribution in a tidal flat in 2001 was compared with that of 2008 using high spatial resolution remote sensing images and a GIS-based analysis. Maps of the surface sedimentary facies for each time frame were induced by an IKONOS data acquired in February, 2001 and a KOMPSAT-2 data acquired in April, 2008 using an object-based classification method. The area ratio of each surface sedimentary facies were estimated, and the results were compared each other for deducing the change in the sedimentary facies during the time interval. The result showed that the percentage of grains larger than very fine sand (0.0625 mm) has increased considerably since the early 2000s in the Hwangdo tidal flat. Mud flat facies has decreased 5.81 % in the late 2000s compared with the early 2000s. However, mixed flat and sand flat have increased 4.46% and 2.14%, respectively. A field campaign also supported the result. This study showed that the monitoring of changes in the surface sedimentary facies in the tidal flat is possible through a GIS-based analysis using high spatial resolution remote sensing images.

3D Measurement Method Based on Point Cloud and Solid Model for Urban SingleTrees (Point cloud와 solid model을 기반으로 한 단일수목 입체적 정량화기법 연구)

  • Measuring tree's volume is very important input data of various environmental analysis modeling However, It's difficult to use economical and equipment to measure a fragmented small green space in the city. In addition, Trees are sensitive to seasons, so we need new and easier equipment and quantification methods for measuring trees than lidar for high frequency monitoring. In particular, the tree's size in a city affect management costs, ecosystem services, safety, and so need to be managed and informed on the individual tree-based. In this study, we aim to acquire image data with UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), which can be operated at low cost and frequently, and quickly and easily quantify a single tree using SfM-MVS(Structure from Motion-Multi View Stereo), and we evaluate the impact of reducing number of images on the point density of point clouds generated from SfM-MVS and the quantification of single trees. Also, We used the Watertight model to estimate the volume of a single tree and to shape it into a 3D structure and compare it with the quantification results of 3 different type of 3D models. The results of the analysis show that UAV, SfM-MVS and solid model can quantify and shape a single tree with low cost and high time resolution easily. This study is only for a single tree, Therefore, in order to apply it to a larger scale, it is necessary to follow up research to develop it, such as convergence with various spatial information data, improvement of quantification technique and flight plan for enlarging green space.

Review on the Cooperative Policing System in Japan (일본의 민경협력치안제도에 대한 고찰 및 시사점)

  • In modern society, citizen's expectation about policing levels have been rising over time and it limited resources of the police to deal with the security services are insufficient. Until now, the state monopoly of the police activity was changing to subject of a variety in cooperation with public security system. The citizens considers community not the destination to police enforce the law but space for effective policing partners. Japanese police focus on cooperation oriented policing to strengthen the police and local residents with crime prevention for a long time. Also, the community through a variety of problem-solving policing activities to identify problems such as anxiety and anguish of the people. The legal basis for cooperative policing activity is that Nagaoka city crime prevention regulation in 1979. In recent years, Tokyo local government legislated the safe town development regulations(東京都安全 安心まちづくり條例) and set up the hot-spot area to promote the safety of public facilities. Cooperative policing not police intervention for crime prevention but national policy for the city reclamation in Japan. Police as well as the Ministry of Land and Transport, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education, Prime Minister and all government departments thread safe city, crime prevention, and has been working to make the safe city. Japan's cooperative policing is a system that receives the most attention and greater implications.

A New Proposal of Pedestrian Signal Time (보행자 신호체계에 대한 새로운 제안)

  • The pedestrian signal systems operating presently could provide more time for the pedestrian to cross the street than the previous system, but it would increase the cycle length and cause longer delays at the signalized intersections. For instance, more than 80% of traffic signals would have to have the cycle length increased by 10sec in Daegu Metropolitan areas. Therefore. the purpose of this study is to propose a pedestrian traffic signal time that not only maintains the safety of the pedestrian but also reduces the traffic cycle length. The proposed pedestrian signal time is set to enable enough time for the elderly to cross and the flashing time is set low enough to deter the ordinary person. This new pedestrian signal time can reduce the traffic cycle length at intersections and prevent the Pedestrian crossing during flashing time. In addition to the flashing green should be changed to flashing red to warn the pedestrian he should not begin crossing as opposed to the flashing green which suggest he could cross. In this study, the speed of 1.1m/sec and 0.85m/sec are applied to the new proposed signal time for normal and elderly person respectively after analyzing data collected at Daegu Metropolitan area.

Multi-step Ahead Link Travel Time Prediction using Data Fusion (데이터융합기술을 활용한 다주기 통행시간예측에 관한 연구)

  • Existing arterial link travel time estimation methods relying on either aggregate point-based or individual section-based traffic data have their inherent limitations. This paper demonstrates the utility of data fusion for improving arterial link travel time estimation. If the data describe traffic conditions, an operator wants to know whether the situations are going better or worse. In addition, some traffic information providing strategies require predictions of what would be the values of traffic variables during the next time period. In such situations, it is necessary to use a prediction algorithm in order to extract the average trends in traffic data or make short-term predictions of the control variables. In this research. a multi-step ahead prediction algorithm using Data fusion was developed to predict a link travel time. The algorithm performance were tested in terms of performance measures such as MAE (Mean Absolute Error), MARE(mean absolute relative error), RMSE (Root Mean Square Error), EC(equality coefficient). The performance of the proposed algorithm was superior to the current one-step ahead prediction algorithm.

Soil Modelling Method to Design Bent Foundation with Drilled Shaft Pier (단일 현장타설말뚝의 설계시 지반 모델링 방법)

  • The bent foundation with single drilled shafts is suitable and economical in South Korea, which has good rock in a shallow depth. This foundation has been designed with an elastic design concept. To apply a plastic design concept written in Korea Bridge Design Criteria, a detail design regulation, which includes the method for a plastic hinge point to occur above the ground, rebar arrangement and soil modelling, should be defined. Soil modelling should be considered in the respect of structural engineer's practicality. In this paper, single drilled shaft piers with 1m diameter are constructed, and cyclic lateral load tests loaded at 4m above the ground are taken to examine the behavior. Reduced diameter shaft above the ground and remaining the steel casing under the ground were used to induce plastic hinge to occur above the ground. Simplified soil models such as elastic relation and p-y curve are adapted, and the prediction results are compared with test results. Prediction results of a model bridge were compared according to soil models with time domain analyses, and design criteria of soil were proposed.

가스산업시설에서의 위험성 평가분야에서 지리정보시스템의 적용

  • 우리나라는 그동안 가스산업에서 고속성장을 이룩해 왔으나, 근래에는 중대가스산업사고가 빈번하게 일어나고 있다. 그건 이유로 1996년도에는 중대산업사고 예방제도가 전면적으로 실시되고 공정안전보고서를 작성하여 제출하도록 함으로서 위험성 평가의 중요성이 점차 높아가고 있으며, 위험성 평가 기법들에 대하여 여러 연구 단체에서 연구ㆍ시도되고 있다. 또한 이러한 연구ㆍ보고된 위험성 평가 기법들을 프로그램화하고 적용하려는 시도가 많이 있어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 연구ㆍ개발된 위험성 평가 기법들에 최근 컴퓨터 산업의 발달에 힘입어 각광을 받고 있는 지리정보시스템을 적용하고자 한다. 이러한 가스산업시설의 위험성 평가 시스템은 위험성을 평가하기 위해서 필요한 여러 가지 정보들을 지리정보시스템이 속성 데이터로서 저장하고 있으나, 가스산업시설에 관련된 주변의 도면들을 공간 데이터로서 저장하고 있다. 그리고 위험성 평가 시스템의 세부적인 기능을 모듈화하였다. 우선 위에 언급한 속성 데이터와 공간 데이터를 관리하는 모듈과 이러한 데이터를 가지고 사고영향 범위를 산출해내기 위한 모듈, 그리고 산출된 사고 영향 범위를 도면에 나타내는 모듈로 나뉘어져 있다. 이렇게 지리정보시스템에 구축되어 있는 도면에 위험성을 평가한 결과치를 나타냄으로서 위험성 평가 숙련자가 아니더라도 위험성 평가를 할 수 있고 결과를 분석하도록 도와 줄 수 있도록 할 수 있다. 또한 향후 재난관리시스템에서는 도면상의 도로에 교통량 가중치와 인근 소방서와 경찰서등의 위치를 관리하도록 지리정보시스템을 적용할 수 있으면, 가스시설물 관리시스템에서는 최근 대형가스사고의 대부분이 타공사에 의한 것임을 고려하여 가스배관망을 포함하여 기타 다른 지하배관망을 관리하도록 지리정보시스템을 적용할 수 있다. (중략)램프에서 좋은 광학적 특성을 얻기 위해 가장 중요한 것은 수축이 없이 방전을 확산시키는 것이다. 이를 위해서 램프구조와 구동법을 최적화하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 기체압력을 높임으로서 Xe의 여기복사를 얻을 수 있었다. 동시에 새로운 적용영역의 가능성을 탐구하는데 있다 하겠다.[C/N]의 값을 나타내었다.다.다.화 기술, 구동방법등에 대한 기술개요와 국내외 기술동향에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.었다.다._{2}$가 0.25[wt%] 첨가된 시편의 20[.deg.C]에서의 유전상수는 16,700으로 최대값을 유전손실을 1.28[%]로 최소값을 나타내었다. 또한 모든 시편은 온도 및 주파수에 따라 유전상수가 완만하게 변화하는 유전이완 특성을 나타내었다.다.수적인 물의 양에 따른 DIAION WA30의 라세미화 효율에 관하여 실험한 결과, 물의 양이 증가할수록 그 효율은 감소하였다. DIAION WA30을 라세미화 촉매로 사용하여 아이소옥탄 내에서 라세믹 나프록센 2,2,2-트리플로로에틸 씨오에스터의 효소적 DKR 반응을 수행해 보았다. 그 결과 DIAION WA30을 사용하지 않은 경우에 비해 반응 전환율과 생성물의 광학 순도는 급격히 향상되었다. 전통적 광학분할 반응의 최대 50%라는 전환율의 제한이 본 연구에서 찾은 DIAION WA30을 첨가함으로써 성공적으로 극복되었다. 또한 고체 염기촉매인 DIAION WA30의 사용은 라세미화 촉매의 회수 및 재사용이 가능하게 해준다.해준다.다. Infection status of Tapes philippinarum collected from southern coastal areas of Korea with Parvatrema spp. (Digenea: Gymnophallidae) metacercariae (남해안 일부 지방산 반지락의 Parvatrema속 흡충 피낭유충 감염상)

  • An epidemiologic survey along the several sites of southern coastal areas of Korean peninsula was performed to know the infection status of Pcnlotremc app. metacercariae in Tapes phiLlppirlawm. The clams were purchased from 13 coastal areas in Kyongsangnam- do alld Chollanam-do. in September, 1990. Each of them was digested with pepsin-HCI solution and examined under a stereomicroscope for the recovery of metacercariae. A total of 232 (77.3%) out of 300 examined clams were proved to have 1 to 273 Pawatrema app. metacercariae (54.7 in average). None of the clams from Samoan-myon Kosong-gun and Dolsan-up. Yochon-gun was infected with metacercariae. However, all of the clams from Yonghyon-myon, Sachon-guu, Dohwa-myon, Kohung-gun, Ahllyang-myon. Changhung- gun and Chiryang-myon. Kangiin-gun were infected with average 71, 31, 80 and 42 metacercariae respectively. Of the clams from Kohyon-myon, Namhae-gun, Doam-myon, Kangiin-gun and Kusan-myon. Uichang-guil examined, 97.5%. 95.0% and 90.0% were infected with about 117. 76 and 28 metacercariae. In other 4 surveyed areas. Seolchon rlyoll, Namhae-gun, Hwayang-myon. Yochon-gun Byollyang-myon, Sungju-gun and Bukpyong-myon, Haenam-gun. 55.0%-80.0% of clams were positive. and their average intensity of infection ranged from 6 to 25 metacercariae. From these results, it was confirmed that Tcpes philippincrum from southern coastal areas of Korea are highly infected by Parvatrema spp. metacercariae.

Adaptability Questions of O-D Table Estimation Models (기종점 통행표 산출모형의 적용성 평가)

  • This study deals with the adaptability questions of O-D table estimation models. Its objectives are two-fold; (1) to estimate the characteristics of various O-D table estimation models(i.e. linear regression models. entropy models and statistic models) and (2) to find the model which estimates the O-D table with the best accuracy under the various data conditions. In Pursuing the above, this study gives the particular attentions to the test of the models, using the Sioux Falls network and equilibrium assignment method of MINUTP. The major findings are the followings. Firstly. it finds that the statistic models have the most goodness of fat among all models, if the required data are all Prepared. But it Presents that statistic models are the most sensitive against the underspecification and inconsistency problems of link data. Secondly, It shows that the linear regression models have the worst goodness of fat among all models. But the linear regression models are the most insensitive to the underspecification and inconsistency problems. Thirdly, THE/1 model of entropy model is sensitive against the underspecification and incon-sistency problems, but THE/2 model is insensitive. Finally, other informations like total volume, zonal Production and attraction volumes in 0-D table, help models to gain the better goodness of fit. Especially, in the statistic models. both the zonal production and attraction volume data are helpful to estimate the link volumes. It can be expected that the results dive some implications not only to the selection of optimal model under the various given data, but also to the development or modification of model.
