In this paper I discuss if we can regard Hilbert at the time of Hilbert's program as an instrumentalist. For this I first provide some textual evidences for the instrumentalist interpretation, then examine the three recent criticisms in turn. I argue that the reading Hilbert as an instrumentalist is still tenable in spite of these criticisms.

Although the constructivistic instruction is emphasized in these days, many teachers feel burden to implement their teaching based on constructivistic teaming theory. As the main reason for this, difficulty to find out effective materials which can be utilized in the constructivistic instruction can be argued. According to recent studios, effectiveness of online games as the educational material was proven. Based on this result, the possibility for utilizing online games as effective educational materials in the constructivistic instruction was discussed in this study. For this, total process for the business strategy lecture implemented to 50 students in Chung-Ang univ. during 9 months by utilizing an online game named 'Goonzu' was reviewed by the perspective of constructivistic teaming theories. As a result of this review, it was proven that constructivistic methodologies were applied effectively in that lecture. Based on this, the possibility of utilizing online games as the effective material in the constructivistic teaming activity is discussed in this study.

This study analyzed the reports of Korean and Chinese newspapers on the foundation of AIIB from the viewpoint of public diplomacy. The results showed that Chinese newspapers reported the government's statements and opinions and played as a means of conforming to the purposes of public diplomacy. Chinese newspapers employed the media paradigm of Instrumentalism among three paradigms of public diplomacy, which was due to ownership structure of the press. In the case of Korean Newspapers, they adopted paradigms of culturalism and professionalism. However, they verged to culturalism in terms of lack of discourse struggle due to few in-depth reports of the effects of national economy of AIIB.

본 연구의 목적은 한국의 가족 및 친족관계의 특성을 국제 비교적 맥락에서 분석하는 것이다. ISSP(International Social Survey Program)의 모듈인 '사회관계와 지원체계'를 조사한 2004년 한국일반종합조사의 자료를 바탕으로 하여, 한국의 친족 간 접촉빈도와 사회적 지원에서 친족이 차지하는 위치를 비교적 시각에서 분석하였다. 연구결과는 한국의 대면적 친족접촉빈도가 조사대상 국 중 최하위 권에 있으며, 한국의 가족 및 친족이 정서적 지원보다는 도구적 지원의 대상으로 작동하는 성격이 보다 강함을 보여주고 있다. 한국의 낮은 친족접촉빈도는 한국의 경제발전 수준이나, 강한 가족주의의 전통으로는 쉽게 설명되기 어렵다는 점에 주목하여, 유교적 전통 중 위계적 집합주의가 섬소한 대면적 접촉빈도를 설명할 수 있음을 주장하였다. 사회적 지원과 관련하여서는 한국의 가족주의가 도구적 가족주의의 성격을 가지고 있음을 확인하는 한편, 친족집단의 낮은 정서적 지원정도와 위계적 집합주의와의 관련이 논의되었다. 또, 이러한 낮은 정서적 지원의 양상이 반드시 한국의 가족관계가 비정서적인 것을 의미하는 것은 아니라는 것이 지적되었다.

Almost teachers have some basic questions about the effective teaching and learning. The purpose of this study is to develop an alternative tool to observe and analyze an instruction based on the learning theories providing the theoretical rationalities for learners to study not only in daily their life but also in their class and to apply it as an example. This study showed some suggestions analyzing an instruction theoretically through out some filters based on learning theories. Recently various learning theories have been studied and accumulated. This study developed an alternative tool to observe and analyze an instruction based on the Behaviorism, the Cognitivism and the Constructivism in the middle of these learning theories and it was applied to observe and analyze a actual class of the informatics subject. The expectation is for teachers to reflect or improve their classes using the alternative tool.

The aims of this study are to identify Dewey's theory on mathematics education and to clarify its influence on the modern theories of mathematics education. For this purpose, we have examined Dewey's theory of knowledge named as pragmatism or instrumentalism, and studied the Dewey's theory of education in which he maintained education is the reconstruction of experiences. And then, we have examined Dewey's theory on mathematics education, such as theory of mathematics, purpose of mathematics education, contents of mathematics education, and methods of mathematics education respectively. After that, we have analyzed how his theory on mathematics education is connected with the diverse theories of modern mathematics education, such as Piaget's operational constructivism, Freudenthal's theory of realistic mathematics education, Polya's theory on mathematical problem-solving, and social constructivism. Through this study, we might say that Dewey's theory on mathematics education is a prototype of modern theories of mathematics education and a comprehensive paradigm which is very suggestive to the phenomena of mathematics education.

로봇의 중요성이 강조됨에 따라 2019년부터 초등 실과 교과에 로봇 교육이 포함된다. 그러나 일부 초등학교에서 현행되고 있는 로봇 교육은 학습자가 완성된 형태의 로봇을 조작하는 데 그친다는 점에서 구성주의 학습원리에 어긋난다. 구성주의 학습원리에 따르면 학습자는 각자에게 의미 있는 독창적인 모델을 중심으로 자신만의 세계를 만들고 그 속에서 지식을 구성해 나가야만 진정한 학습이 일어난다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 구성주의 학습원리에 기반한 초등 로봇 교육의 도구로서 WeDo 2.0을 소개하고 로봇 교육 도구로서 WeDo 2.0이 갖는 활용가능성을 탐색하였다. WeDo 2.0은 학습자에게 첫째, 자발적 학습환경, 둘째, 창의적 학습환경, 셋째, 체계적 학습환경, 넷째, 통합적 학습환경, 다섯째, 구성주의 학습환경을 제공한다. 이에 따라 향후 초등 로봇 교육에서 WeDo 2.0을 활용한 구체적인 교육 프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.

Beginning with the historical background under the light of which the program of naturalization proves to presuppose the mechanistic mechanistic materilalism, this paper first exposes what is the problem about intentionality, and then explains and examines the approaches to the program of naturalization of intentionality. Churchland's eliminativism and Dennett's instrumentalism are examined critically. Intentional realism is argued for;however, Dretaske's theory is preferred to than Foder's because the former but not the latter reveals least one of the various possible mechanisms of misrepresentations.

Using a sample of 83 secondary school science teachers, this study investigated the views on science and learning which they have. Questionnaires used in this study were the same that Kwon & Pak(1995) administered. Both 'Questionnaire for Perception of Nature of Science' and 'Questionnaire for Constructivistic Views of Learning' were 11-point scales. Data analyses were done by using t-test and ANOVA. The secondary science teachers showed a relativistic, deductivistic, instrumental, and process-oriented views on science. The younger age of the teachers, the more emphasis on process rather than content. Female teachers had more relativistic, instrumental, and process-oriented views than male teachers had. The teachers sampled in this study showed a constructivistic view on learning. Finally, the teachers' views of science and learning were closely related each other.
