교사양성대학에서의 수학사 및 수리철학 강좌 운영

  • 수학사 및 수리철학에 관한 연구는 교사양성 대학에서 더욱 강조되어야 할 부분임에도 불구하고 그에 관한 연구가 미진하다. 자연대의 수학과는 수학 그 자체가 중요하겠지만, 교사양성 대학에서는 수학 내용자체 뿐만 아니라, 수학의 역사적인 측면과 수학에 관한 인식론적인 측면이 함께 요구되어 진다. 절대적인 것으로 인식되어 온 수학에 대한 잘못된 선입견은 수학교육에도 심각한 악영향을 끼칠 수 있다. 그러나 괴델의 불완전성 정리 등으로 인해 수학에서의 논리체계는 더 이상 절대적이지 않다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 숱한 오류들의 극복을 통해 발전해 온 수학사적인 측면과 그로 인하여 수학에 관한 인식론적 변화를 수학에서의 큰 사건들을 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. 구체적으로 유클리드 기하에서 비유클리드 기하의 발견, 칸토어의 무한한 역설의 발생, 역설을 극복하기 위한 수학기토론의 탄생, 괴델의 불완전성 정리로 이어지는 과정들을 살펴보고, 그로 인해 도출되어지는 수학교육적 시사점을 논의해 보며, 이르르 바탕으로 교사양성 대학에서의 수학사 및 수리철학 강좌의 운영 방안을 제시한다.

A study on joint control in Calculus (대학수학의 공동관리 운영에 관한 소고 - S대학의 미분적분학 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • In the natural science or engineering science, a calculus is an obligatory subject. So there are many classes in the university every year. Commonly professors manage the course individually. Many classes in a row individually got into trouble about lecture, test and assessment and so on. To solve the above problems, alternatively we introduced the concept of joint control. We used the joint syllabus, test and assessment. In this paper, we found the necessities and effects of joint control in a calculus.

A Case of Operating College Mathematics Course using SRN (SRN을 활용한 대학수학 강좌 운영 사례)

  • In this study, we identified the effects of Self-Reflective Note(SRN) strategy, which used on 'college mathematics' courses, operated as a liberal arts curriculum course in university. For this purpose, we used SRN strategy on 'college mathematics' 3 classes, 'college mathematicsII' 1 class enrolled 95 students, and then analyzed the data. For identifying a change of students' learning, we conducted surveys related to the affective domain, core competencies, satisfaction. From this, we identified the followings. First, the interest, self-confidence, future expectation of students who attended classes in which SRN strategy is used are positively changed. Second, core competencies(self-directed ability, communication ability) of students who attended classes in which SRN strategy is used are improved. Third, the students who attended classes in which SRN strategy is used evaluated such as mathematics learning using the strategy help their mathematics study. Fourth, the students who attended classes in which SRN strategy is used evaluated such as the strategy improved their learning habit, supplemented their weakness, and activate realistic communication between professor and them.

  • National university of education here in Korea have had a special purpose training competent primary school teacher hoping our nation and society so far. We can guess how students are educated and which direction focuses on education in college or university if we see the curriculum of the university. But the content of mathematics curriculum which is currently operated in ten university of education is a little different according to the major subject (pure mathematics, subject matters and so on)of the faculty or situation of the university. The purpose of this study is to get some suggestive points for the development of mathematics program and lecture assessment system which are appropriate training primary school teacher of future oriented as a special purpose university with looking around of lecture assessment system as well as comparing and looking around of the curriculum which are establishing at the auckland college of education there in the New Zealand and mathematics education department here in Daegu national university of education.

A Study on the Curriculum Development and the Management of Basic College Mathematics Courses (기초수학 교육과정 개발 및 운영에 대한 제언)

  • Few colleges offer remedial basic math courses for college freshmen who have not passed math placement tests or whose scholastic aptitude test score in mathematics is low. This research is aiming for the curriculum development of basic college mathematics and its effective implementation. First, an in depth statistical analysis on the basic math courses for universities in Seoul area has been done. Second, diagnostic test and longitudinal study have been carried out for one institute. Based on these, basic concepts and areas critical for the success of Calculus course are extracted. Standards and contents for the remedial math courses are suggested.

  • In this paper, we utilize student survey, scholastic level assessment and class evaluation in order to address the problems and find out the improvements on operating the subjects in the university-level program(UP), focusing on the Calculus I. We also propose effective management strategies and learning methods for the UP classes consisting of excellent high school students.

  • 현재 각 대학의 사범대학에서는 저마다의 교과과정에 의하여 기하교육을 하고 있다. 해석학이나 대수학에 비하여 매우 다양하게 운영되고 있는 기하학 강좌 내용에 대하여 우선 몇 군데 대학에서의 기하학개론 및 미분기하학 강좌 내용을 비교하고, 교사 양성기관에서의 기하학 개론과 미분기하학 강좌에서 다루어야 할 필수 요소를 알아보고자 한다.

  • The educational environment in the digital age of the 21st century definitely affects teaching and learning methods to be changed. In addition, the perceptions and methods of mathematics education in the digital age have also been changing. This study proposes a university mathematics education model suitable for the digital age, which makes full use of the internet/digital environment and leads the students to participate in the learning processes. We apply the proposed model to Linear Algebra course, and present a concrete method of teaching and learning model including evaluation. This will be the first study on how to organize and operate digital courses in Korea in accordance with the mathematics education in the digital era which is rapidly spreading around the world.

  • The purpose of this paper is to find out the effective teaching method and improvement for managing the special lecture of basic mathematics which is grouped by the level of low achievement students who are matriculants. From the result, we want to know how the lecture with teaching method of differentiated learning affect on the students, especially who have under achievement, to be interested and confidential in mathematics.
