Case Study on the Causes for the Failure of Large Scale Rock Mass Slope Composed of Metasedimentary Rocks (변성퇴적암류로 구성된 대규모 암반사면의 붕괴원인 분석에 관한 사례 연구)

  • For the design of large scale rock slope which has complex formations and geological structures, generally, insufficiency of geotechnical investigations and laboratory tests are the main factors of slope failures doling construction. In such case, remedial measures to stabilize slope should be selected and applied through reliable investigations and analysis considering the geotechnical characteristics. The rock slope of this study, one of the largest cut slopes in Korea with a length of 520.0 m and maximum height of 122.0 m consists of metasedimentary rocks. And a case study on the causes of large-scale rock slope failure was carried out by analysis of landslides history and site investigations during construction. When the slope with the original design slope of 0.7: 1.0 (H:V) was partially constructed, the slope failure was occurred due to the factors such as poor conditions of rocks (weathered zone, coaly shale and fault shear zone), various discontinuities (joints, foliations and faults), severe rain storm and so on. The types of failures were rockfall, circular failure, wedge failure and the combination of these types. So, the design of slope was changed three times to ensure long-term slope stability. This paper is intended to be a useful reference for analyzing and estimating the stability of rock slopes whose site conditions are similar to those of this study site such as geological structures and geotechnical properties.

The Measurement of Social Carrying Capacity on the Total Amount of Vehicles for Estimation of the Appropriate Number of Vehicles in U-do Island (적정입도차량대수 산정을 위한 자동차 총량제에 대한 사회적 수용력 측정)

  • The either satisfaction levels or limits of tolerance levels felt by the users in the certain space/region should be examined for measuring social capacity on the total amount of vehicles. The reliability of measuring social carrying capacity depends primarily on decreasing the strategic responding biases. To induce the honest responses to preferences, Dichotomous Choice which is specifically known as the Double-Bounded Dichotomous Choice was adopted in this research to suggest the measurement methodology of social carrying capacity on the total amount of vehicles in U-do island. The empirical test was carried out the U-do island, an administrative district of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The number of vehicles satisfied by the 10% of residents was 390 and the satisfactory vehicle number was decreased to 132 extended to 90% of residents. This research, based on the political decision making criteria, set up the social carrying capacity in U-do island. The vehicle number satisfied by 50% of residents was 227, which meant the same number of residents turn to be supporter in case of political actions.

  • 우리나라는 하천유역의 도시화 추세 속에 불투수층의 증가로 빗물의 일시 유출로 인한 홍수발생으로 많은 인명과 재산피해가 발생하고 있어 방재적 차원에서의 수자원관리가 시급한 실정이다. 또한, 초기 빗물과 합류식 하수도의 월류수에 의한 하천, 호소, 및 습지의 수질오염문제도 많이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 콘크리트로 제작된 PC 지하식 빗물저류시설로서 상부의 공간은 공원, 운동장, 주차장 등 다양하게 이용하면서 방재와 치수를 가능케 할 수 있다. 또한, PC 콘크리트 빗물저류조는 현장 타설이 아닌 PC콘크리트 블록을 현장에서 조립하여 시공기간이 대폭적으로 단축되고, 작업환경 및 주변환경을 개선시킬 수 있다. 또한, 지하수의 보전, 회복을 위한 빗물저류 침투 시설 역할도 수행하여 비상용수를 확보하고 여름철 홍수 시 빗물을 가두어 재해를 방지하는 등의 다목적 시설로 활용된다. 지하 매립형 빗물저류조는 기존의 암거설계기준을 참조하여 일본의 내진설계 기준을 반영하였으며, 고강도 콘크리트를 사용하여 강도 또한 뛰어나다. 그리고 시공이 간편하고 공기의 단축에 탁월한 효과를 나타내며, 빗물저류조 설치는 다음과 같은 특징이 있다. 1. 지하저류형 빗물저류조 시설로 설계되어 토지의 효과적인 이용이 기대된다. 2. 공사기간이 짧아 경제적이다. 3. 안정된 구조체이다. 4. 부지의 형태에 맞춘 시공이 가능하다. 5. 소규모에서 대규모의 유수지까지 광범위하게 대응이 가능하다. 6. 방재역할 수행 및 빗물이용의 역할을 담당할 수 있다. 7. 불투수층이 증가하고 있는 도시지역에서 적극 활용가능하다.로 판단된다.한 예비방류의 시행과 강우종료 후에도 이수용량에는 손실이 없는 저수지의 관리방안의 지침이 되는데 효율적이라 판단되었다. 방법을 개발하여 개선시킬 필요성이 있다.>$4.3\%$로 가장 근접한 결과를 나타내었으며, 총 유출량에서도 각각 $7.8\%,\;13.2\%$의 오차율을 가지는 것으로 분석되어 타 모형에 비해 실유량과의 차가 가장 적은 것으로 모의되었다. 향후 도시유출을 모의하는 데 가장 근사한 유출량을 산정할 수 있는 근거가 될 것이며, 도시재해 저감대책을 수립하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.로 판단되는 대안들을 제시하는 예비타당성(Prefeasibility) 계획을 수립하였다. 이렇게 제시된 계획은 향후 과학적인 분석(세부평가방법)을 통해 대안을 평가하고 구체적인 타당성(feasibility) 계획을 수립하는데 토대가 될 것이다.{0.11R(mm)}(r^2=0.69)$로 나타났다. 이는 토양의 투수특성에 따라 강우량 증가에 비례하여 점증하는 침투수와 구분되는 현상이었다. 경사와 토양이 같은 조건에서 나지의 경우 역시 $Ro_{B10}(mm)=20.3e^{0.08R(mm)(r^2=0.84)$로 지수적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 유거수량은 토성별로 양토를 1.0으로 기준할 때 사양토가 0.86으로 가장 작았고, 식양토 1.09, 식토 1.15로 평가되어 침투수에 비해 토성별 차이가 크게 나타났다. 이는 토성이 세립질일 수록 유거수의 저항이 작기 때문으로 생각된다. 경사에 따라서는 경사도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며

Shear Strength Model for Interior Flat Plate-Column Connections (무량판 슬래브-기둥 내부 접합부에 대한 전단강도모델)

  • An alternative design method for interior flat plate-column connections subjected to punching shear and unbalanced moment was developed. Since the slab-column connections are severely damaged by flexural cracking before punching shear failure, punching shear was assumed to be resisted mainly by the compression zone of the slab critical section. Considering the interaction with the flexural moment of the slab, the punching shear strength of the compression zone was evaluated based on the material failure criteria of concrete subjected to multiple stresses. The punching shear strength was also used to evaluate the unbalanced moment capacity of the slab-column connections. For verification, the proposed strength model was applied to existing test specimens subjected to direct punching shear or combined punching shear and unbalanced moment. The results showed that the proposed method predicted the strengths of the test specimens better than current design methods in ACI 318 and Eurocode 2.

Shear Strength Model for FRP Shear-Reinforced Concrete Beams (FRP 전단 보강 콘크리트 보의 전단강도 모델)

  • In the present study, a unified shear design method was developed to evaluate the shear strength of concrete beams with and without FRP shear reinforcement. The contributions of FRP and concrete on shear strength were defined separately. By comparing the current design method calculated results with the existing test results, it was found that Triantafillou model shows a reliable prediction of FRP effective strain and FRP shear strength contributions. The concrete shear strength contribution was defined by the strain-based shear strength model developed in the previous study. The shear strength of concrete compression zone was evaluated based on the material failure criteria of the concrete subjected to the compressive normal and shear stresses. The proposed strength model was verified by comparing its prediction results to prior test results. The comparisons showed that the proposed method accurately predicts the strengths of the test specimens for both FRP shear reinforced and unreinforced concrete beams.

Institutional plan is necessary CM application from planning, realistic estimation of CM service charge, converting understanding among paticipants for the business and inducing specialization through certifyizing CM qualification to develop CM. But, it makes some realistic and unexpected pro41ems in the middle of step-by-step CM management for doing its business. So we need to consider a measure. This study suggests problems in practical a)fairs and improved idea that it summarized each stage of a bid for CM, planning, construction contract. It shows direction to take root successfully and develop.

  • It's necessary to judge between success and failure of a project in order to secure the objective evaluation index and the transparency of that. In case of the public works including a construction section, the large-scale budget input proceeds, but the awareness regarding the efficiency and usefulness of the public works is decreasing because it's hard to estimate benefit originated from the results of the budget input. Therefore, this study is to propose the measurement standard for the post-evaluation based on the list of the resident response degree and user satisfaction degree to systematically and quantitatively measure the results of the post-evaluation for the public projects within the range of quantifying the consumer satisfaction degree for the facilities which preform the post-evaluation among the public projects with 50 billion budget.

  • The parameter of impulse response of groundwater proposed by Kraijenhoff, that is, the reservoir coefficient j is determined on the basis of the least squares criteria. The degree (${\alpha}$) which expresses how much each sequential storm contributes to groundwater flow through the saturated soil is obtained by the optimization techniques which minimize deviations between observed and derived runoff hydrograph, and the convolution summation for the linear theory is used. A numerical example for this study is carried out for a storm event of Goose Creek basin near Leesburg, Virginia. As the results, the groundwater unit hydrograph and baseflow were able to be obtained. The used optimization technique is suited to the purpose of this study in case of the constraints. It is judged that the results allow the determination of baseflow.

  • It reflects well feature of slope that is characteristic of urban river basin of Busan local. In this study, process various hydrological data and basin details data which is collected through basin basis data, hydrological monitoring system(EMS-DEU) and automatic water level equipment(AWS-DEU) for urban flood disaster prevention and use as basin input data of ILLUDAS, SWMM and HEC-HMS in order to examine outflow feature of experiment basin and then use in reservoir design of experiment basin through calibration and verification about HEC-HMS. Inserted design rainfall for 30 years that is design criteria of creek into HEC-HMS and then calculated design floods according to change aspect of the impermeable rate. Capacity of reservoir was determined on the outflow mass curve. Designed detention pond(volume $54,000m^3$) at last outlet upper stream of experiment basin, after designing reservoir. It could be confirmed that the peak flow was reduced resulting from examining outflow aspect. Designing reservoir must decrease outflow of urban areas.

  • 현재 하천 건천화에 따른 수생태계 교란 및 수질악화 등의 근본적인 문제가 발생하고 있으며, 최근 정부의 저탄소 녹색성장기조에 따라 조성되고 있는 신도시, 소규모 및 대규모 택지개발사업의 경우는 환경 친화적인 단지조성 요구에 부응하기 위해 기존 도심하천의 복원 및 인공하천의 녹색성장을 고려한 친환경적 생태하천으로 조성하고자 하는 다양한 노력이 시도되고 있으나 안정적인 생태복원의 수원확보 방안을 마련하지 못해 실제 설계가 반영되지 못하고 있다. 또한, 조성하고자 하는 소하천 혹은 실개울 등의 수질보전 및 생태계 보호 등 하천이 본래의 기능을 유지할 수 있도록 생태하천유량을 확보하는 다양한 기술들이 개발되어 있지만, 공사 유형과 주변 환경에 적합한 생태하천유량 확보 방안을 선정할 수 있는 비구조적 대책마련이 부족한 실정이다. 이러한 실정과 문제점을 고려해 볼 때, 조성하고자 하는 도시 내 자연하천 및 인공하천 조성 등 수변환경을 고려한 단지조성에 맞는 생태하천유량 확보 방안 및 평가에 대한 연구가 단계적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 생태하천유량 확보와 하천수질 개선이 필요한 특정 지역 또는 다양한 유형의 공사 지구 내 하천이 정상적인 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 적용 가능한 생태하천유량 확보 방안들과 수리해석 모델인 HEC-RAS(River Analysis System), 생태하천유량 산정 모델인 PHABSIM(Physical HABitat SIMulation)을 연계한 물리서식처 평가 모듈을 개발하고, 이를 기초로 가중치부여매트릭스 평가(국토해양부, 2006) 기법을 적용한 최적의 생태하천유량 확보 방안과 수질개선 방안을 제시해 줄 수 있는 의사결정지원 시스템을 구축 하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 개발된 최적의 생태하천유량 확보 방안 도출을 위한 의사결정지원 시스템의 활용으로 필요유량은 물론, 기준을 만족하는 수질의 확보가 절실히 요구되는 중 소규모 하천에 실질적으로 적정수질의 생태하천유량을 확보함으로서 하천으로서의 역할을 위한 본 기능의 회복과 동시에 소하천, 도심하천 및 인공하천 등 중 소규모 수계의 수문순환을 정상화하여 하천의 지속 가능한 개발과 관리가 효율적으로 이루어지도록 하는데 이용될 수 있을 것으로 예상되어진다.
