How to process event message traffic efficiently is important to collaboration among multiple distributed users, and it is a key research issue in the virtual environment fields. AOI model is one of solutions for this problem; which reduces message traffic by restricting event propagation region into an area in which a user is interested. However, in previous systems, it is difficult to adapt to dynamic environment where changes in the number and movement of participants are frequent. This paper proposes a new event management model, called extended AOI model, which is helpful to improve flexibility and efficiency of traditional models, and is able to extend its functions by introducing multi-layered regions. The proposed model can be applied to DVE and MMORPG as an event filtering model.

Because the service is characterized by simultaneous production and consumption, the customer must participate directly in the delivery and production process of the service. For this reason, the variable Customer Participation has aggregated many empirical results in the service marketing field. Recent research on customer participation has focused on the relationship marketing, and is empirically identifying the relevance of customer participation and relative value of relationship marketing. These findings indicate that customer participation should be understood in a relationship between customers and service firms. Using commitment velocity and customer participation velocity considering dynamic of the relationship, this study aims to re-examine the relationship between customer participation and encounter satisfaction which is the foundation of relationship formation. Multiple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis are used as research methods. The study found that customer participation has a direct positive effect on encounter satisfaction, and that commitment velocity and customer participation velocity also have a significant effect on encounter satisfaction. However, all assumptions that were expected to moderate the impact of customer participation on encounter satisfaction were rejected. Although the study failed to identify the moderating role, it was clear about the impact on the encounter satisfaction of commitment velocity and customer participation velocity. Applying them to a wider variety of service types provided an opportunity to identify the value of the study, and to broaden the scope of the study suing these variables.

Objectives: This study was performed to identify the relations between the old's participation in voluntary service activities and health-related quality of life. Methods: The subjects of the study were 318 elderly people aged over 65 years. They were interviewed with the use of a questionnaire from May 1 to June 30, 2012 to collect data. To verify the data collected, this study carried out a linear regression analysis. Results: The health-related quality of life of the elderly who were participating in voluntary service activities was statistically significantly higher than that of those who were not. Conclusions: This study has meaning in that it discovered that the elderly people's participation in voluntary service activities had a positive effect on their health-related quality of life.

This study examined the factors influencing the suicide prevention gatekeeper participation of 299 grassroots organizational leaders in Gangwon province. For this purpose, participation of activities of suicide prevention gatekeeper was classified into performance intention and intervention level. Performed hierarchical multiple regression analysis by setting participation motives which showed a significant correlation with participation of suicide prevention gatekeeper as independent variables. As a result of the analysis, participation motives affecting performance intention were a sense of mission as a leader, benefits or rewards for activities, the meaning and purpose of suicide prevention, government policy. And participation motives affecting intervention level were invitation of public officials, the meaning and purpose of suicide prevention. Based on the results of this study, suggested implications for the participation of suicide prevention activities in community grassroots organizations and suggestions for future activation.

The main objective of this study is to investigate the factor of participation motivation, recognition and reward affecting the continuance will of university student volunteers. For the research, participation motivation was consisted of egoistic motives and altruistic motives. Recognition and reward(R&R) were consisted of psychosocial R&R, educational cultural R&R, and economic R&R. The results of this study were summarized as follows: Frequency analysis and descriptive statistics showed that participation motivation was mixed, psychosocial R&R was higher than economic R&R. By using a multiple regression, egoistic motives and altruistic motives had a positive effect on the volunteers' continuance will, and psychosocial R&R and economic R&R had a positive effect on the volunteers' continuance will. This study finally discussed theoretical and practical implications for university student's volunteer strategies on the results.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of ego resilience and self-esteem on life satisfaction of senior golf participants. This study sampled senior golf participants in Gyeonggi-do area. Data from a total of effective 287 subjects was analyzed. The collected data was processed using the SPSS 24.0, and For the validity of the questionnaire, exploratory factor analysis was performed, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows; First, The correlation between ego-resilience, self-esteem and life satisfaction of senior golf participants is statistically significant. Second, The positive attitude of ego-resilience of senior golf participants has a statistically significant effect on self-esteem. Third, The supportive relationship and positive attitude of ego resilience of senior golf participants have a statistically significant effect on life satisfaction. Lastly The positive and negative variables of self-esteem of senior golf participants have a statistically significant effect on life satisfaction.

Wiki is an online-based collaborative tool, and has been frequently used more recently as it realizes the paradigm of web 2.0 in educational context. Especially, wiki promotes collaborative knowledge building which is the major interest of this study. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationships among academic self-efficacy, self-efficacy for group work, wiki anxiety, participation in wiki activity, and learning achievement. Fifty nine college students participated in the wiki activity, and the data from fifty three were used for the multiple regression and path analysis. The results reported that academic self-efficacy and wiki anxiety affected participation in wiki activity, and these two variables also had indirect effects on learning achievement, mediated by participation.

The purpose of this study is to inquire into the relationships between empirical value, emotional response and behavioral response of skin-SCUBA diving participants. This study sampled 300 skin-SCUBA diving participants in the SCUBA diving pool of the Seoul Olympic Stadium, and the SCUBA diving pool of the Suwon World Cup Stadium by using convenience sampling. For data processing, this study conducted frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multi-regression analysis using PASW 18.0 Ver. The concrete results are as follows: First, the empirical value of a skin-SCUBA diving participant was found to have a significant influence on emotional responses. Second, the empirical value of a skin-SCUBA diving participant was found to have a significant influence on behavioral responses. Third, the emotional response of a skin-SCUBA diving participant was found to have a significant influence on behavioral responses.

The purpose of this study was to improve children's positive perceptions of the future by examining the relationship between parental attachment, parental involvement in learning, and children's perceptions of the future, and by identifying the specific influence of each variable on children's perceptions of the future. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistical analysis were performed on data from the 12th year of the Korean Children's Panel (2019), and Pearson's moment correlation coefficient was calculated for correlation analysis between variables. Multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the explanatory power of parental attachment to children's perception of the future and parental participation in learning. The research results are as follows. First, the correlations among all the latent variables of parental attachment, parental participation in learning, and children's future perception showed significant correlations. Second, the explanatory power of children's perception of the future was found in the order of 'mother' trust, 'family'-based participation, 'father' trust, and 'mother' communication. These results suggested that parental trust and warm, warm participation in home-based learning were important variables in children's positive perception of the future.

This study tried to identify the factors that affect the participation of national pension beneficiaries in economic activities. Data from the 8th KReIs main survey were used for the study subjects, and the number of subjects was 919. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS 20.0. As a result, gender, age, marital status, residential area, physical health status, and mental health status showed differences in economic activity participation. Participation in economic activities was correlated with gender, age, marital status, physical health status, and psychological health status. As factors influencing the participation in economic activities of national pension recipients, it was found that gender, age, education level, residential area, and physical health had an effect on economic activity participation.
