This study was conducted to analyze the effects of motivation and satisfaction with continuing education on the intention to participate in college continuing education programs among adult learners. and participation of continuing education to improve the quality of Continuing education programs operated by College and to develop diverse educational programs that reflect the needs of adult learners and increase their participation rate. This study analyzed data collected from 412 adult males and females taking courses at the Lifelong Education Center in four professional universities in Gyeonggi-do from May 1 to June 20, 2017. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Version 21.0 program, and general characteristics of the subjects were used. Descriptive statistics, t-tests and ANOVA were used to identify differences in participants' motivation, satisfaction with education, and intention to participate. Participants' motivation, satisfaction with education, and intention to participate were analyzed by Pearson's correlation. Participants were analyzed by stepwise multiple regression analysis. There was a significant positive correlation between motivation for participation in college continuing education programs, intention to participate in education programs, and intention to participate. The factors influencing participants' motivation for participation were participation motivation and education satisfaction 41.2%.The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop and operate a program considering the factors that can improve motivation for participation and educational satisfaction to increase learner motivation.

This study investigated the current state of Korean Maker Movement and explored the ways for activating Maker Movement in Korea. To do this purpose, we analyzed the data of 'A survey of the Korea Maker Movement in the second half of 2018', conducted by Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity involved 20's~50's Koreans. As a results, first, awareness, interest and behavior intention of Maker Movement was not high in Korea. Second, there were significant different between participants and non-participants of Maker Community in Maker awareness and Maker activities. Third, the positive relation between Maker Community participation and Maker Orientation is parallel multiple mediated by Maker activating motives such as fun, relieving stress, expressing own idea, saving cost, social recognition. Lastly, based upon the results, we presented several ways to activate Maker Movement in Korea.

This study was to analyze whether volunteer motivation represents a mediated effect in the relationship between social support and multicultural acceptance by university students as a late adolescent. Among the students attending a university located in North Chungcheong Province, 256 participants have experienced volunteer work. Data analysis conducted multiple regression analysis using SPSS and analysis showed that social support of university students affected multicultural acceptance and that volunteer motivation in their relationship between social support and multicultural acceptance was fully mediated. Based on these results, it has revealed a path that the social support of university students affects multicultural acceptance through volunteer motivation. Therefore, in order to gain social support, university students should improve their ability to maintain a positive view of interpersonal relations and to cope with conflicts efficiently. They will also have to strengthen self-directing capacity in order to increase the level of motivation for volunteer participation.

In this paper we describe a development of a multi user game using 3D graphics and multicasting. First, we represent a virtual reality world by 3D graphics technology. Next, we use computer communication technology for the purpose of interaction among multi users. As a result, multi users share 3D graphics objects and play games. The goal of this paper is a development of a system that enables multi users to play games sharing a virtual world represented by 3D graphics. We use the OpenInventor library and C++ language for 3D graphics scene representation, and IP multicasting protocols for computer communication. The system allows to use Polhemus Fastrak 3D input device that recognizes the 3D position and 3D orientation. As an example we present a game that demonstrates the effect of piano concert by multi piano players who are distributed in a computer network.

The multi-user VR system can more enhance the sense of reality than existing single user VR system, but it also cause a significant problem about network structure and protocol, since the current Internet using TCP/IP can not afford to deliver such a massive information required to the real-time constraint of multi-user VR system. In this paper, we introduce new network structure and protocol for multiple user's virtual world navigation and interaction through their avatars. The virtual worlds are based on virtual building and managed by distributed servers. The avatars have 9 behaviors and recognize the state of each other by pre-defined network protocol.

The purpose of this study was to find the effects of parenting behavior, parenting involvement and father-child communicationon on children's multiple intelligence. For this purpose, 182 children selected from three elementary schools and their fathers participated in the study. The findings of this study are as follows : First, there were some significant differences in children's multiple intelligence according to the children's grade, gender, father's educational background and income. Second, there were some significant differences in children's multiple intelligence according to the parenting behavior, warmth acceptance, rejection restriction and permissiveness nonintervention behaviors, and to leisure activity, life guidance, study guidance of parenting involvement and to father-child open communication, problematic communication. Third, It was also found that children's grade, gender, father's educational background, warmth acceptance behavior, permissiveness nonintervention behaviors and open communication, problematic communication were all significant predictors of the children's multiple intelligence. In order to increase the children's multiple intelligence, parents should be warmer and more accepting and have open commnication with their children.

정보문화의 달이기도 했던 6월은 고도정보화사회를 앞당기는 일련의 획기적인 조치들이 취해져 관련업계의 관심을 크게 집중시키고 있다. 정부는 정보통신회선 사용상의 제한을 대폭 완화하여 민간기업이 실질적으로 VAN사업에 참여할 수 있는 길을 열어놨고 종래 규제일변도였던 전파정책을 권장행정으로 전환하는 전파관리법도 입법예고했다. 정부가 마련한 정보통신회선사용제도 개선조치는 DB, DP만 제공할 수 있도록 되어있는 정보통신역무제공업자의 사업범위를 불특정다수인을 대상으로 한 정보교환 및 타인통신매개행위를 허용했고 지금까지 9600bps급 이하의 저속회선에서만 접속이 허용되어온 다중화장치(MUX)의 사용범위를 대폭확대하여 64kbps급 이상의 고속회선에서도 접속사용할 수 있도록 허용했다. 또한 그룹 VAN의 경우에도 업무상 긴밀한 관계자 등만 이용할 수 있게 한 제한사항도 폐지해 국내 VAN시장에 대한 민간기업의 참여를 전면적으로 허용했다. 이외에도 정보통신역무제공업자가 DP.DB제공을 위해 필요한 경우 컴퓨터 본체에서의 부수적인 정보교환행위를 허용하여 DB내용 갱신(up-data) 등을 위한 중도컴퓨터의 접속도 가능토록 했다. 그런데 그룹 VAN의 경우 이용대상의 제한을 없앴으나 그룹망 중 타인사용특례를 받은 업체 이외의 망에는 이용자가 접속할 수 없도록 되어있기 때문에 각 업체에서는 시스템 통합화를 추진할 확률이 높다. 또한 고속회선에 대한 다중화장치(MUX) 사용을 허용하고 있으나 개방에 대비해 각 업체에서 이미 보유하고 있는 노드 프로세서(Node Processor)를 전용교환기로 간주, 이의 사용을 제한하고 있는 실정이다. 업계에서는 중도컴퓨터의 접속은 허용하고 있으면서 통신과 컴퓨터의 중간자적 기능을 갖고 있는 노드프로세서의 사용을제한한다는 데에 있어서는 의견을 달리하고 있다. 우리 협회에서는 이달 법제위원회를 개최하여 이번 조치에 대한 검토와 함께 전파관리법 입법예고안에 대한 업계의 의견을 수렴, 정부에 건의할 예정이다.

In this paper, the proposed audio/video control device for multiple user in the multimedia platform is changed for the better a disadvantage that must get one computer per participant to process a floor mode needed for interactive collaboration in the multimedia based distance education. It also proposed simulator of co-work environment that included multimedia data. This developed to proceed a multimedia distance education efficiently and sharing a computer among multiple users. Therefore, this is resulting in a reduction the cost needed to build a multimedia distance education system as well as totally simplified the organization of system. It also offers compatibility and generality, interfacing with the printer port of standard PC supporting the bi-direction mode.

This study aims to analyze a whole network effectiveness by expanding the unit of analysis beyond individual organizations in a network into network-level collaborative relations. Data for the analysis were drawn from the evaluation reports and surveys of leaders, mid-level managers, and staff members of the organizations participating in 'Community Network Building' project which was funded by Community Chest of Korea and carried out by the Academy of Korean Social Welfare Administration from November 2006 to November 2009. For the analysis, three out of the 10 networks established in diverse local communities were selected. Based on the survey conducted on the participating organizations and the center organization of each network, we analyzed the structural characteristics of interorganizational network at a network-level. Second, to analyze effectiveness of the whole network, we employed a multiple stakeholders perspective and examined the relations between the whole network's structure and its effectiveness. The findings showed that the whole network effectiveness is higher when the network is more centralized around the hub organization and more stable. The significance of this study is that it is provided and tested a new framework for network effectiveness evaluation by combining the two network effectiveness evaluation framework of Provan and Milward's with evolutionary organizational theory.

This paper tries to introduce most recent trends of Korean family policies during Roh, Moo Hyun Government of March 2003-February 2008. Focusing on the gender perspectives, discussions are, for heuristic purposes, centered around three major family issues in S. Korea, one of the most dynamically changing societies in the world: 1) the abolishment of male-centered traditional Family Registry System('the hoju') and the launching of brand-new Family Record Book of five different versions for individual from January 2008; 2) the application of Framework Act On Healthy Homes, a first formal measure to step in various forms of family break-ups these days; and 3) the emergence of Multi-Cultural Family Protection Act, thanks to a massive volume of international marriage migrants from overseas. It can be said that all these family policies are the result of rapidly changing socio-demographic trends into an aging society since 1990s. These trends include late/no marriage with low birth rates, high divorce(and thus remarriage) rates, breakdown of male-breadwinner family model and increase of dual-income family, and a sudden increment of international marriage particularly in rural areas. All in all, overall trends of Korean family life these days that have been taking place so far would provide an excellent exemplary how to deal with an unprecedented societal challenges with the brand-new family policies.
