W-CDMA 기술의 획기적인 발전과 보급은 향후 소규모 단말기를 통한 다국어 자동 통/번역에 대한 수요를 대폭 증가시킬 것으로 예상된다. 특히 북경올림픽을 기점으로 이와 같은 기술에 대한 수요는 매우 늘어날 것으로 예측되고 있다. 이에 대비하여 각국에서는 다국어 자동통역의 근간이 되는 다국어 자동번역 기술을 국가주도 하에 경쟁적으로 진행하고 있다. 독립 응용시스템에 적용되던 다국어 자동번역 기술은 인터넷의 발전 등과 더불어 이제는 문서에 관한 통합 프로세스를 담고 있는 응용시스템의 일부로서 적용되고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 다국어 자동번역 기술의 역사와 현황, 국내외 연구진들의 연구방향 등을 소개하고 향후 다국어 자동번역 기술 개발의 방향을 점검해보고자 한다.

다국어 자동번역이란 2개국어 이상 언어들간의 번역을 말한다. 기존의 다국어 자동번역 시스템은 크게 변환기반 transfer-based 방식과 피봇방식으로 분류될 수 있는데 변환기반 다국어 자동번역 시스템에서는 각 언어의 분석과 생성 규칙이 상이하게 작성됨으로써 언어들간의 공통성이 수용되지 못하였고 그로 인해 전체 번역 메모리의 크기가 증가하는 결과를 초래하였었다. 또한 기존의 피봇방식에서는 다국어에 적용될 수 있는 언어학적 보편성 모델을 구현하는 어려움이 있었다. 이러한 기존의 다국어 자동번역 시스템의 단점들을 극복하기 위해 본 논문에서는 언어들간의 공통성을 수용하며 또한 여러 언어에서 공유될 수 있는 공통 규칙에 의한 다국어 자동번역 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 공통 규칙의 장점은 전산학적으로는 여러 언어에서 단지 한번 load 되기 때문에 전체 번역 메모리의 크기를 줄일 수 있다는 것과 언어학적으로는 문법 정보의 작성.수정.관리의 일관성을 유지할 수 있다는 것이다.

컴퓨터를 이용하여 명사와 용언의 의미를 자동으로 분별하는 것은 기계번역이나 검색 등의 기술에서 아주 중요한 기반 기술이다. 최근에 동형이의어 분별에 대한 연구 결과로 약 96%의 정확률을 보이는 시스템이 개발되었으나, 다의어 분별에 대한 연구는 아직 초기 단계로 일부 어휘만을 한정하여 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 어휘지도를 이용하여 다의어를 분별하는 방법을 연구하였고, 어휘지도에 등록된 모든 일반 명사와 용언을 대상으로 실험하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 문장에서 나타나는 명사와 용언의 관계를 어휘지도에서 찾고, 그 정보를 기반으로 다의어를 분별하였다. 아직은 그 정확률이 실용적인 수준이라고 볼 수는 없지만, 전체 다의어를 대상으로 실험하였고, 그 실험 결과를 분석함으로써 앞으로의 다의어 분별 연구 방향에 도움될 것으로 판단된다.

황사가 기상, 환경에 미치는 영향에 대한 사회적인 관심이 집중되면서 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있으며 특히 황사의 물리, 화학적 변화를 정확히 측정하려는 연구가 증대되고 있다. 이러한 이유에서 최근에는 황사의 형태, 크기 등을 복합적으로 측정할 수 있는 가장 효율적인 계측장비로 다파장 라이다가 개발되어 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개발된 다파장 에어로졸 라이다를 이용한 수원상공 황사의 계측과 이의 분석 결과에 대하여 보고한다. 다파장 에어로졸 라이다는 대기중의 에어로졸 후방산란비, 입자형태, 크기, 편광비를 광자계수방식 및 아날로그 방식으로 다양한 파장 영역에서 측정 할 수 있다. 이러한 파라메터들의 측정에는 주로 355, 532 nm 파장을 사용하였다. The goal of this study is to analyze topics discussed in academic papers on multiculture in Korea to figure out research trends in the field. In order to do topic analysis, LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation)-based topic modeling methods are employed. Through the analysis, it is possible to track topic changes in the field and it is found that topics related to 'social integration' and 'multicultural education in schools' are hot topics, and topics related to 'cultural identity and nationalism' are cold topics among top five topics in the field.

경쟁법 정책에 대한 국제적 논의가 여러 기관에서 진행되어 왔는데 본 논문에서는 WTO에서 지금까지 진행되어온 경쟁법 정책의 다자간국제규범화의 논의 동향과 주요 논의 사항을 살펴보고, 실제로 경쟁정책의 다자간국제규범은 어떠한 형태를 갖게 될 것 인가에 대한 분석과 아울러 경쟁정책의 다자간국제규범화가 국내경제에 미칠 영향을 분석하고 동시에 이에 대한 우리 나라 정부와 업계의 대용방안을 분석하였다.

ISO 14651을 이용하면 간추리는 차례가 공통 틀 표 (Common Template Table)에 들어 있기 때문에 글자의 간추리는 차례를 바꾸더라도 간추리기 프로그램을 바꿀 필요가 없다. 남쪽과 북쪽의 가나다 차례를 통일하지 않고 순서가 다른 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법은 ISO 14651 을 활용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 남쪽에서 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 포함하는 북쪽 로캘을 만들고, 입력된 글자떼를 남쪽 혹은 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례에 따라 간추리기 할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다.

본 논문은 후술할 다출력 스위칭 회로의 최소성 기준(Criteria of Minimality)에 의한 최소의 다출력 스위칭 회로를 설계하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이에는 단일 출력 스위칭 함수에 적용된 바 있는 Direction of Adjacency Table 방법이 다소 변경되어 다출력 스위칭 회로에 적용되었다. 이르 위하여 기존의 Direction of Adjacency Table을 다출력 함수의 최소화에 적합하도록 변경한 Extended Direction of Adjacency Table이 구성된다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of family poverty on the school adjustment of multi-cultural adolescents in Korea. For this purpose, the 7th data of Multi-cultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS) was used and the OLS multiple regression models ware applied. to the analyses. From the result of the OLS model analyses, we found out that family poverty affect significantly on the school adjustment of multi-cultural adolescents. Especially, family poverty has the significant negative(-) effects on academic achievement and friend relationships. These results of this study show that family poverty is an important factor influencing the school adjustment of multi-cultural adolescents. And they confirm that family poverty during period of the adolescent has an important meaning and influence on the aspect of school adjustment as to the multi-cultural adolescents. Implications of this study may be that policy attentions are necessary to not only multi-cultural characteristics but also family background such as poverty in oder to improve the school adjustment of the multi-cultural adolescents. In addition, results of this study suggest that more special support and interventions are requested to the multi-cultural adolescents from poverty families who are suffering dual difficulties such as multi-cultural problems and poverty problem.

The purpose of this study was to find whether national identity, value orientation, cultural sensitivity influence Multi cultural competence of secondary school students. The significant result out of this research was that Multi cultural competence were different by its concerned variables. The results of hierarchical regression analysis reveal that changes to each of the models were checked by introducing a new group of variables in each stage. Then the influences of the concerned variables including national identity, value orientation, and cultural sensitivity on multi cultural competence were tested through the influence and significance of the variables and the changing explanatory power of the entire models.
