3차원 신발모델의 2차원 평면화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flattening of 3D Shoes Model)

  • 입체는 특수 장비에 의해 디지털 데이터화 되어 3차원 물체의 표면을 메쉬나 다각형 등으로 표현하며 입체의 세부구조인 다각형은 면적, 각 정점의 토폴로지, 변의 길이, 내각과 같은 고유 기하정보 요소를 가진다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 입체를 특징짓는 다각형의 기하학적 정보를 이용하여 3차원 모델을 2차원 평면으로 전개하는 방법을 제안한다. 이와 같은 기술은 옷이나 신발과 같은 2차원 형태의 부품을 결합하여 입체형태의 제품을 만들어 내는 분야에 매우 유용하게 쓰이며 나아가 3차원 모델에 최소의 왜곡을 가지는 텍스쳐를 적용시켜 3차원 모델의 사실성을 높이는데 기여할 수 있다.

경사면 위에서 작은 정다각형 부품의 구름 거동 (The Rolling Behavior of a Small Regular Polygonal Part on an Inclined Plane)

  • This paper presents the mathematical model for rolling behaviors of a small regular polygonal part on an inclined plane. Throughout the numerical analysis performed with the simulation program which has been experimentally validated, it is shown that the number of edges of the rolling polygonal part can be a measure for the energy dissipation rather than the coefficient of friction. The appropriate slope angle has been found to be around 20 degree for roughness-separation as well as shape-separation of polygonal parts which have small number of edges. In additions, the vibratory motion applied to the inclined plane is able to cause mixed parts to be separated more effectively according to the shape or the roughness. Finally, a couple of parts separation methods based on the analysis results are presented, and are validated through the numerical simulation.

  • The method of manipulation by striking a part and letting it slide until it comes to rest, has been very little studied. However, the manipulation method is not uncommon in our daily lives. We analyze the dynamic behavior of a rigid polygonal part being striked and sliding on a horizontal surface under the action of fiction. There are two parts in this problem; one is the impact problem, and the other is the sliding problem. We characterize the impact and sliding dynamics with friction for polygonal parts, and present the possibility of reverse calculation for motion planning of striking operations. Using a high speed video camera, the computer simulation results are experimentally verified.

  • The BTA(boring and trepanning association) deep hole machining has an increasing demands because of its wide applications and its good productivity. The main feature of the BTA tools is that the tool cutting edges are unsymmetrically located on the boring head. This provides a stabilizing cutting force resultant necessary for self guidance of the boring head. The BTA tools are capable of machining for having a large length to diameter ratio in single pass. A study of the accuracy and surface finish of holes produced would reveal quite useful information regarding the process. This study deals with the experimental results obtained during BTA machining on SM55C, SM45C steel under differnt machining conditions.

  • The gundrill is capable of machining for having large length to diameter ratio in single pass. The techniques of gundrill and gun boring began developing in the late 18th century with the need for more accurate bores in rifle, cannon, machinery part and marine part etc. The main feature of the gun drilling provides a stabilizing cutting force resultant necessary for self guidance of the drill head. A study of the accuracy and surface finish of holes produced would reveal quite useful information regarding the process. The thesis deals with the experimental results obtained during gun drilling on marine part materials for different machining conditions.

소형 다각형 부품의 비센서 진동 정렬 (Sensorless Vibratory Orienting of Small Polygonal Parts)

  • This paper covers topics related to the investigations for the problem of sensorless vibratory orienting of polygonal parts with high probability through dynamic simulation. The author's program for mechanical systems with changing topologies was experimentally validated and was used as a simulation and design tool for motion behaviors of the vibratory parts-orienting system in the dynamic environment. A flat level vibrating bar is proposed as a means of orienting parts. Dynamic manipulation, in which a part is repeatedly caught and tossed by the bar without sensing, forms the fundamental manipulation strategy. This paper presents how to plan vibratory manipulation strategies that can orient a small rigid polygonal part using interaction between the part and the vibrating bar without requiring sensing. The planned motion strategies have been experimentally validated to show how the dynamic simulation can be used to find favorable vibration parameters for a given part without knowledge of their initial orientations.

  • A sensorless motion planner which succeeds in grasping a polygonal part firmly into a desired orientation has been developed through the dynamic analysis. The analytical results on the impact process with friction are used for modeling the contact motionduring the parallel-jaw grasp operation, which is com- posed of the pushing and the squeezing process. The developed planner succeeds in grasping a part into a specified orientation in the face of uncertainties of initial position and orientation of the part, motion direction of the finger, and the physical parameters such as the coefficients of friction and restitution. The motion planner has been fully implemented into a viable package on the computer system, and verified experimentally. The motion of parts is recorded using a high-speed video camera, and then compared to the results of the planner and the graphic simulation results that illustrate the simulated motion of the grasp operation.

용탕단조법에 의한 AC4A/$SiC_w$복합재교 제조에 관한 연구(ll)-가압력 및 시효특성- (Fabrication of AC4A/$SiC_w$composite by squeeze casting(II))

  • 자동차용 부품재 및 일반산업용 재료로 사용되고 있는 AC4A Al합금에 $SiC_{w}$ preform을 용탕단조법으로 강화시킨 복합재료의 시효 경화능은 SiC/aub w/30%> 10%> 20%의 순이며, 이는 $100^{\circ}C$-$400^{\circ}C$까지의 등시시효에서도 같은 결과를 나타낸다. 복합재의 T6처리재가 AC4A I/M재 보다도 시효경화능이 크고 절대값이 높았으며 $SiC_{w}$체적분율 증가에 따라 초기경화 현상을 나타내었다. 가압력에 의한 강화효과는 미시효때와 같이 가압력 75MPa일때 가장 좋았으며, $SiC_{w}$는 30%> 10%>20%순이었다. 가압력이 낮을경우 가입과 동시에 휘스커는 파단되지 않고 원래의 형상을 유지하거나 기지금속과 wetting으로 일부 변형된 다음 가압이 진행되면서 이부부의 응력 집중으로 wetting부가 파단하게 되어 가압력을 이기지 못하고 파단하게 되어 휘스커 모양도 다각형이거나 구형에 가깝게 되며 가압이 진행됨에따라 재차 파단되므로써 길이도 짧게 된다. 한편 가압력 75 MPa일 경우 휘스커의 형상은 일부 변형된 것과 잘게 파손된 것이 고르게 공존하고 있어 강화효과가 가장 우수한 것으로 사료된다.
