The purpose of this study is to investigate design process and production in the Korean knitwear industry and to examine the possibility for our knitwear industry to develop into the developed countries' model. This purpose was empirically pursued through questionnaires, of which respondents were 110 designers, merchandiser(MD), and top managers of knitwear companies and jobbers in Seoul. The questionnaires were analyzed on the basis of such statistical tools as χ²-test, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Findings of this study were as follows. Designers of knitwear companies evaluated that their design is more creative than that of designers of jobbers. But designers of knitwear companies and jobbers all responded that they obtained their design ideas from samples produced by leading foreign knitwear companies. The dominant form by which knitwear companies use jobbers was that knitwear companies do a major part of designing and order jobbers to elaborate it and produce knitwear samples. The most important reason of hiring jobbers was to obtain specialized technical skills and knowledge.

The purpose of this study was to develop wool knitted Jacket pattern suited for Middle-aged women's body shape. The usable data of first and second wearing test were coded for further statistical analysis including descriptive statistics(frequency and one way- ANOVA test, Student-Newman-Keuls Multiple Range Test) by using SPSSWIN 12.0. The results were as follows: 1. It was found that first evaluation for the appearance test on fitness, pattern B were better than the rest of them. 2. It was found that second evaluation for the test, jacket B with milano were better than the rest of them. Therefore, it should be designed as possible as considering the physical characteristics of knitted materials. 3. It was found that third evaluation for the test, it is necessary that knitted jacket follow a similar size tolerance such as a woven jacket.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the expressive technique of grunge look in knitwear fashion. For this study, I have investigated theories of retro and decontructionism trends, and have examined pictures from professional fashion magazines. The results of study on the expressive technique of grunge look reflected on the knitwear fashion were as follows; (1) patchwork technique, which is an outstanding method of recycling, (2) handknitting technique, which came from retro trend of hippism, (3) unfinished edge, which emphasized the image of poverty and incompleteness, (4) irregular lace knitting and slash technique, which is the typical details of grunge look and denies the traditional fashion order, (5) hand stitch technique using various materials, which gives second-hand mood of hippie look, and (6) fringe details, which originated from the unfinished edge technique.

In recent years, compression molding of long fiber-reinforced thermoplastics has been increased in commercial aspects. In the process of compression molding of composites, the flow analysis must be developed in order to accurately predict the finished part properties as a function of the molding process parameters. In this model FRTP is assumed to be nonisothermal fluid, which has different viscosities in extensional and in shear. For verification of the model, the formation of a knit line in the L-shaped parts is compared with that of experiments results. In this paper we will discuss the effects of extensional & shear viscosity ratio and slip parameter $\alpha$ on the other modle fill-ing parameters.

The purpose of this study is to help you understand the importance of developing of high value added fashion culture goods being integrated with technology and knowledge. And to propose efficient ways of creating a new brand which can be accepted by anyone who has international sensibility. First of all, after making deep research and investigation about the status of current situation in domestic knitwears industries and brands, and exploring problem areas, a growth plan with priority given to strategies for creation of high value added knitwears and its brands will be presented. As methods used in this study, researches was made mainly by digging into technical books on knitwears, fashion trends, and domestic and international fashion information magazine and leaflets, let alone, a lot of domestic market research was performed, as required, and sometimes knitwears simple items were also actually made in parallel.

Approximate rate and stoichiometry of the reaction of ten compounds which contain functional group such as nitrile, nitro, halogen and one of these functional group together with a carbonyl group by the two phase reduction were tested at room temperature. Nitrile, nitro and halogen were all inert under these condition. Therefore selective reduction of carbonyl group in the presence of these group were examined. Thus m-nitrobenzaldehyde, m-nitroacetophenone, p-bromoacetophenone and p-cyanobenzaldehyde were reduced to corresponding alcohols in excellent yields, 95∼100 %.

Durch hydrothermale Behandlung wurde das Mineral Duttonit von einem rosafarbenen 4-wertigenvanadin Aquoxid($VO_2{\cdot}H_2O$) synthesiert und davon wurden Einkristallu gezuchtet. Das monokline hydroxid kristallisiert in der Raumgruppe $C_2/c$. Es befinden sich vier formeleinheiten in der Einheitszelle. Die Abmessungen der Elementarzelle betragen; a = 8.78 ${\AA}$; b = 3.94 ${\AA}$; c = 5.95 ${\AA}$; ${\beta}=90^{\circ}$41'.
