Leakage Current Pulse analysis of Porcelain Insulator at 154kV Transmission Line by use of Pulse Current Method (Pulse current method를 이용한 154kV급 송전용 자기 애자의 누설 전류의 펄스 분석)

  • 송전선로에 설취된 애자들은 지속적인 전기적 기계적 스트레스에 노출되어 있기 때문에 여러 환경적 요인으로 인해 애자 표변의 열화가 가속된다. 이와 같은 애자의 표면 열화는 dryband를 형성하게 되고 지속적인 애자 표면상의 dryband와 누설 전류 증가의 상호 작용은 애자의 섬락를 일으키는 원인이 된다.[1][2] 이러한 연구의 결과 고전압용 애자로 유입되는 누설 전류는 애자 열화의 정도를 평가할 수 있는 매우 중요한 parameter임을 알 수 있다. 따라서 고전압용 애자의 누설전류를 분석하고 취득하여 애자의 열화 평가 및 이로 인해 발생할 수 있는 결함 애자의 검출에 대한 연구가 절실히 요구되고 있다, 본 논문에서는 고전압용 애자 중 자기애자의 누설전류 특성을 조사하기 위해 자체 제작한 실험 챔버, AC 내전압기, 전류센서r, 오실로스코프, PC등으로 구성된 실험 시스템을 구축하였고, 데이터 분석을 위한 S/W로서 LabView를 사용하였다. 그에 따른 실험 결과로서 정상 애자련과 결함 애자를 포함한 애자련의 누설전류 데이터를 취득하여 본 연구에서 제시한 알고리즘을 통해 분석함으로써 정상 애자 내의 결함 애자 포함 여부를 판별할 수 있었다.

Consideration on the helium leak detection in a large vacuum chamber (대형 진공용기의 헬륨 누설검사 방법에 대한 고찰)

  • Nowadays, in our country, large vacuum chambers for huge experimental facilities such as the tokamak fusion device, high power neural beam test stand, and space simulator have been constructed. In such a vacuum chamber of very large size, it is quite complicate to check on leakage quantitatively, while the probability of a leak is relatively high. To investigate the feasibility of applying reliably a helium leak detection to the huge vacuum chambers, and to find a reasonable methodology of choosing an optimum set-up for leak detection, several virtual constructions of the leak detection system have been analyzed by calculating the pressure distribution in the system and the helium level in the sensor part.

  • 본 연구에서는 피복 손상 등으로 누전되었을 때 그 주변의 자기장을 검출하여 누전 여부를 판단할 수 있는 장치를 개발하기 위하여 표면 누전에 의한 전류의 흐름을 조사하였고, 또한 전류에 의한 자계를 검출하기 위해 센서를 제작하였다. 전선 피복 손상에 의한 도전체 표면에 누전되는 상황을 모의하여 전력을 변화시켜서 실험을 수행하였다. 한편 표면에 발생되는 자계를 검출할 수 있도록 센서는 2축으로 구성하였으며, 이를 통해 전선 주변 및 누전된 도전체 표면에서 거리 및 각도 변화에 따른 자계를 검출하였다.

  • The ELCB(: Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker) is the only way being used to prevent accidents from happening caused by electrical disaster. However, the existing ELCB has a limit to prevent damages to life and property due to a electric fire and a human body electric shock caused by the resistive leakage current, because of detecting the total leakage current in the block range of 15mA~30mA. It also has problems such as reduced productivity and reliability due to malfunctions by capacitive leakage currents. In this study, we have implemented the algorithm for the resistive leakage current detection technique and developed the resistive leakage current detection module based on a MSP430 processor, 16bit signal processor and this module can be operated in a desired block threshold within 0.03 seconds as specified in KS C 4613.

Effects of Residual Magnetization on MEL Non-destructive Inspection of Gas Pipeline (가스관의 자속누설탐사에서 잔류자화의 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Effects of residual flux density M$_{res}$ and number of inspection on the detection voltage and flux density B of the gas pipeline were investigated in MFL inspection, which is widely used for the non-destructive inspection in a gas pipeline. A simulation equipment composed of the magnetizer and iron ring attached on an aluminum disc was constructed instead of a huge gas pipeline facility. With this system. the iron ring could be perfectly demagnetized and signals from the bolt screw stuck on the disc could be clearly detected so that the effects of M$_{res}$S and the inspection number on the detection voltage and B of iron ring were effectively investigated. With increasing the number of inspection, M$_{res}$, B of the iron ring and the detection voltage decreased and then kept at constant values while final M$_{res}$ increased with increasing initial M$_{res}$. If inspection condition were kept unchanged, the detection voltage was proportional to the last M$_{res}$ of the iron ring instead of B. This was probably due to magnetic hysteresis of the iron ring inherited from magnetic domain so that consideration on the magnetic hysteresis was inevitable in the analysis of MFL signal from defects of a gas pipeline. A new inspection scheme using the magnetizer with reversed magnetization in the subsequent inspection was proposed from the result that a high detection voltage could be obtained in the first inspection of gas pipeline with positive M$_{res}$.

Study on the Fugitive Emissions of a PFA Lined Ball Valve through Helium Leak Detection (PFA 라이닝 볼밸브의 헬륨누설 검출 및 비산배출에 관한 연구)

  • A PFA lined ball valve, which is machined with fluorinated resin PFA to its inner part for improving corrosion resistance, non-stickness, heat-resistance, has been widely used to the chemical/pharmaceutical industries, the semiconductor/LCD manufacturing processes, etc. with the high purity chemicals as working fluid. EPA stated that 60% of all fugitive emissions come from the valve stem packing in a typical petroleum or chemical processing plant. They monitor regulated components for leaks and maintain seal performance at acceptable levels. Korean industrial standards only deals with the bubble test for in-line leakage of valves, which has the detectable leak rate of $10^{-4}$ [$mbar{\cdot}L{\cdot}s^{-1}$], therefore, it is not sufficient to check fugitive emissions. In this study, we conducted Helium leak detection from a PFA lined ball valve and evaluated fugitive emissions according to ISO 15848-1, which has the detectable leak rate of $10^{-9}$ [$mbar{\cdot}L{\cdot}s^{-1}$], for manufacturing the high-reliable PFA lined ball valves against fugitive emissions.

Study on Leakage Current and Insulation Resistance Effect of Temperature and Humidity (온도, 습도의 누설전류와 절연저항 영향 연구)

  • It was found that temperature and humidity did not affect the leakage current since the leakage current was irregularly increased or decreased at a temperature of $22^{\circ}C$ to $32^{\circ}C$ and a humidity of 60.0% to 96.0%. The insulation resistance in the vicinity of $26^{\circ}C$ was $10.70M{\Omega}$ to $4,000.00M{\Omega}$ and was low from $9.10M{\Omega}$ to $1,000.00M{\Omega}$ before and after $26^{\circ}C$. As the humidity was increase in a range of 60%~96%, the insulation resistance was reduced from $4,000.00M{\Omega}$ to $4.80M{\Omega}$, which indicates that the temperature and humidity had an influence on the insulation resistance. The leakage current and the insulation resistance of the branch circuit to the cooking facilities were compliant with less than 1.00 mA and more than $0.20M{\Omega}$. Leakage current of 1.89 mA was non-compliant but the insulation resistance was compliant with the value of $65.00M{\Omega}$.

  • 본 논문은 IEC 60479 표준 "인체감전의 생리학적 현상"에 제시되어 있는 인체감전 현상에 대하여 교류환경과 직류환경에서 인체임피던스의 특성을 실험을 통하여 분석한다. 연구 결과, 적어도 상용주파수 이하에서는 IEC 60479 표준에서 제시하는 인체 임피던스 모델의 수정이 필요함을 발견하였다. 또한 도출된 실험 결과를 활용하여 직류 배전시스템의 TN 접지방식에서 인체 감전 및 설비 누전에 따른 사고에 대하여 구분동작이 가능한 직류전용 누설전류 검출(DC Residual Current Detection) 기법을 제안한다.

Improvement in Probability of Detection for Leakage Magnetic Flux Methods (누설자속탐상법의 결함검출능력 향상에 관한 연구)

  • It is important to estimate the distribution of intensity of a magnetic field for application of magnetic method to industrial nondestructive evaluation. Magnetic camera provides the distribution of a quantitative magnetic field with homogeneous lift-off and same spatial resolution. Leakage magnetic flux near the crack on the specimen could be amplified by 3-dimensional magnetic fluid and zoom in and out of measurement area. This study introduces the experimental consideration of the effects of lens for concentrating of magnetic flux. The experimental results showed that the magnetic fluid has sufficient lens effect for magnetic camera and effect of improvement in probability of detection.
