  • 최근 ICT/loT 기술들이 다양한 산업분야에 적용하는 사례가 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 특히 노동 집약적인 농업 분야에도 다양한 형태로 적용되고 있지만, 대내외적으로 복잡하게 얽혀 있는 농업/농촌의 활성화를 위해서는 다른 방안 제시가 필요하다, 본 논문에서는 1차 산업을 중심으로 2차, 3차 산업과 연계 또는 융복합하여 영세 규묘의 지역 농가들 및 업체들의 클러스터화를 통해 새로운 고부가가치를 창출 시킬 수 있는 6차 산업화를 지원할 수 있는 통합 지원 플랫폼을 제안하였다. 제안된 통합 지원 플랫폼은 육묘의 품질 관리 단계에서 최종 소비자에 이르는 전 과정을 지원하는 통합 지원할 수 있는 서비스 플랫폼이다. 육묘, 생산, 가공, 유통/수출, 체험/관광, 판매, 소비에 이르는 전체 시스템을 단계적으로 연결하고, 통합 운영/관리될 수 있도록 함으로써, 농식품에 대한 신뢰도 및 지역 농가 및 지역 농촌의 경제활성화에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 하였다.

  • "농업 농촌 및 식품산업기본법" 제47조의 2 신설로 기후변화가 농업 농촌에 미치는 영향, 취약성을 5년마다 조사 평가 공표하고 실태조사를 실시하기 위한 법적 근거가 2014년 5월 마련되었다. 지구 온난화 등 기후변화가 농업 농촌에 미치는 영향을 심층적으로 조사 및 분석하여 기후변화에 선제적으로 대응해야 한다. 국가 수자원 총 이용량의 48%가 농업용수로 이용되고 있다. 논면적(964천ha) 수리안전답은 575천ha에 불과하고, 19.4%(187천ha)는 별도 용수공급시설이 없어 자연강우에 의존하고 있으며, 용수공급시설을 갖춘 관개전은 140천ha로 전국 밭면적의 18.5% 수준('15.7월 행정조사)에 그쳐 논에 비해 열악한 수준이다. 기후변화에 대응하여 농업용수의 안정적 공급을 위해 기후변화에 따른 농업용수의 영향분석 및 취약성 평가를 위한 지표 개발이 시급한 실정이다. IPCC에 따르면 기후변화의 영향과 심각성은 수자원, 생태계, 산림, 보건, 농업 및 사회기반시설 등 다양한 분야에서 관측 혹은 전망되고 있는데 특히 가장 취약한 부분은 강수패턴의 변화로 인한 영향이다. 강수패턴의 변화 의미는 강수 공간, 기간 및 강도의 변화를 의미하는 것으로 강수에 민감한 농업분야가 기후에 가장 먼저 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 기후변화 관점에서 강수의 패턴 변화(공간, 강도, 기간)를 분석하여 농업용수에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 한다.

Brewers' Dried Grain as a Feed Additive for the Korean Rhinoceros Beetle, Allomyrina dichotoma (사료첨가제로서 맥주박이 장수풍뎅이 유충의 생육에 미치는 영향)

  • Edible insects have recently been increasingly promoted as a source of protein. As the number of farms rearing these insect increases, it is important to develop safe and nutritious feed sources to improve their commercial quality. The aim of the current study was to determine the effect of food by-products as feed supplements for the Korean rhinoceros beetle, Allomyrina dichotoma, which has been registered as a general food ingredient in Korea. We compared the effects of waste citrus peel, soybean curd cake, soybean oil meal, and brewers' dried grain on the growth of third instar larvae of A. dichotoma. Groups of larvae were fed with fermented sawdust and nine different combinations of the above by-products and the effects on their growth were measured until pupation. The highest survival rate was with feed supplemented with 10% brewers' dried grain (66.7%, p<0.05), and these larvae were also 26% heavier (p<0.05) than the control group that received no supplementation. In the 10% brewers' dried grain group, the larval period of third instar was shortened by almost 28 days (p<0.01) compared to the control group. Of all the groups, only that which was fed the brewers' dried grain supplement showed more than a 90% pupation rate (p<0.05). Therefore, brewers' dried grain may be useful as a source of feed for A. dichotoma.

Weight Loss Prediction by Operating Conditions of CA Storage (CA저장고의 작동 환경에 따른 감모율 예측)

  • Weight loss that influences quality and farmer incomes is affected by the storage environment of agricultural products. The interior of storage should be maintained at high humidity to prevent the weight loss of products which contain a lot of moisture. The research had constantly proceeded with change in the heat exchanger surface areas, humidity systems, and weight loss forecast to maintain high humidity within storage. Relative humidity that exerts an effect weight loss of crop is influenced by storage temperature, leak state, and volume of product. When weight loss is predicted, different conditions of these factors are derived. In case of CA storage, ways of forecasting the weight loss become easier compared to cold storage due to sealed storage with external environment during storage period. In this study, apples were stored in purge-type CA storage and weight loss has been predicted by using operating characteristics and environmental conditions. As a result, humidity variation in the storage fluctuates with the operation of the unit-cooler. Furthermore, unit-cooler operation factor is influenced by outside temperature and respiration heat. Prediction value of weight loss according to temperature and humidity has been most accurately predicted. Prediction value through defrosting water measured shows unit-cooler work quality. K-value needs verification to calculate the VPD method.

  • Currently, our country has promoted sustainable growth in agriculture field by expanding the growth engine which is going to creat new value through agrifood industry & ICT convergence, the deployment of computerization in rural areas and the efficiency increase of agricultural administration system. Since the level of domestic agriculture-ICT convergence technology focusing on production areas is at early stage, it is necessary to deploy the successful models through the systematic development of technology and standardization including production, distribution and consumption phase. In addition, because the management and control systems of large glass greenhouse are mostly foreign products with no standardization and related small domestic companies, there is a limit to agri-food & ICT convergence activation led by the agri-food private sector. Also, it is vital to increase productivity & efficiency and improve quality throughout the entire agricultural process including production, distribution and consumption by the fusion of information technology, automatic control technology and unique ICT on existing agricultural technology, Therefore, in this paper we propose the agricultural-ICT convergence technology fields in which our country can lead technology and the standardization plans through analyzing the development, policy and standardization trends on agricultural-ICT convergence technology.

북한 농업부문의 시장화: 협동농장과 '장마당'을 중심으로

  • 본 연구는 김정은 집권 이후 북한 농업부문에서 계획과 시장의 공존 양태를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 북한 협동농장의 계획 수행 과정을 계획수립-계획실행-계획평가 단계로 나누어 추적한 결과, 협동농장에 대한 계획화체계의 골격은 상대적으로 강하게 유지하고 있다. 계획수립과 계획평가 단계에서는 명령식 계획경제의 틀을 고수하고 있다. 그러나 계획실행 즉 자금·자재·노동력 등 생산요소 확보-생산-생산물 처분 단계에서는 당국 및 상급기관의 사실상 방임 하에 협동농장이 적극적인 시장과의 연계를 통해 자력으로 일을 추진하고 있다. 농업부문의 계획 밖 영역, 즉 시장에서의 변화실태를 파악한 결과, 농업관련 제반 시장들이 새롭게 만들어져 성장하고 있다. 농산물 소비재시장(곡물시장, 채소시장, 축산물시장, 과일시장), 농업 및 비농업 생산재시장(영농자재시장, 식품원료 및 식자재시장)이 생겼으며 점차커지고 있다. 도시의 구매력 향상에 따라 다양한 먹을거리에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 자가소비를 목적으로 생산하던 농산물을 남에게 팔기 위한 '상품'으로 인식함으로써 수요를 겨냥한 공급 확대 등 중요한 변화가 나타났다. 농촌의 구매력도 커지면서 영농자재 시장의 수요와 공급이 늘어났다. 이는 시장화에 일시적으로 후행하던 농촌이 도시 수요를 겨냥한 농업생산에 본격적으로 나서게 됨으로써 시장경제적 질서에 재편입하고, 시장연계활동의 많고 적음에 따라 농촌간 격차가 나타나는 등 북한 농업부문이 개발도상국 경제에서 출현하는 농업근대화의 초기 양상과 일부 유사함을 말해준다.

Characterization as Cosmetic Substances of Chestnut Inner Skin Extracts with Antioxidant Activity (항산화 활성을 갖는 율피 추출물의 향장 소재 특성)

  • We investigated characterization as cosmetic substances of chestnut inner skin extracts with in vitro antioxidant activity. Total phenolics of various extracts from chestnut inner skin were the highest 60% methanol (164.82 mg/g), and ethyl acetate fractions (191.14 mg/g). We found that the both samples from chestnut inner skin dose-dependently increased in vitro antioxidant activities (DPPH radical scavenging activity and inhibition of lipid peroxidation). In addition, the both samples also showed a strong UV absorption in the range of UV-B (290-320 nm). Especially the 60% ethanol extracts presented higher inhibitory effect on elastase (46.40% at $100{\mu}g/mL$) than that of the ethyl acetate fractions, so that it showed in vitro anti-wrinkle activity. Finally, the 60% methanol extracts and ethyl acetate fractions showed anti-bacterial activity against skin pathogenic bacteria. Consequently, these results suggest that the chestnut inner skin can be used for cosmetic industry.

Characteristics of Leuconostoc spp. isolated from radish kimchi and its immune enhancement effect (무김치에서 분리한 Leuconostoc 속의 특성과 면역증강 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of Leuconostoc spp. isolated from radish kimchi and to investigate the potential for the use of functional ingredients by evaluating enzymatic characteristics, safety, and immune-enhancing effects among the isolates, including Lactobacillus rhamnosus ATCC53103 (LGG) as a control strain. All test strains exhibited β-glucosidase enzyme activity that releases β-1,4 sugar chain bonds. In addition, as a result of antibiotic resistance assay among the isolates, MIC values on 8 antibiotics were below compared to the EFSA standard, and hemolytic experiments confirmed that all showed gamma hemolysis without hemolytic ability. As a result of the antibacterial activity experiment, the Leu. mesenteroides K2-4 strain showed a higher activity than LGG against Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus aureus. Additionally, the activity of the NF-kB/AP-1 transcription factor increased when the isolates were treated in macrophage RAW cells. These results were related to increasing the high mRNA expression levels on TNF-α and IL-6 by Leu. mesenteroides K2-4 strain to be treated at low concentration. Consequently, we suggest that it will be useful as a candidate for functional food ingredients.

Frozen Food Thawing and Heat Exchanging Performance Analysis of Radio Frequency Thawing Machine (라디오파 해동기의 해동 및 가열성능 분석)

  • This study investigated the effects of 27.12 MHz radio frequency (RF) heating on heat transfer phenomena during the thawing process of frozen food. To determine the velocity of the RF thawing machine, samples were frozen at $-80^{\circ}C$ and subjected to different power treatments. The phase change times (-5 to $0^{\circ}C$) of frozen radish were 30, 26, 13, and 8 min; those of pork sirloin were 38, 25, 11, and 5 min; those of rump were 23, 17, 11, and 6 min; those of chicken breast were 42, 29, 13, and 9 min; and those of tuna were 25, 23, 10, and 5 min at 50, 100, 200, and 400 W, respectively. The heating limit temperatures of the radish, pork sirloin, rump, chicken breast, and tuna samples were 19.5, 9.2, 21.8, 8.8, and $16.8^{\circ}C$ at 50 W; 23.5, 15.5, 27.3, 12.3, and $19^{\circ}C$ at 100 W; 42, 26.9, 45.7, 22.1, and $39.4^{\circ}C$ at 200 W; and 48.5, 54.7, 63.6, 57.3, and $44.9^{\circ}C$ at 400 W. These results suggest that high-power RF improves thawing velocity and heating limit temperatures, and that an improvement on the operation of the RF thawing machine, according to food temperatures, is needed.

고추산업의 국내외 현황과 전망

  • 고추는 우리나라 국민의 식생활에 있어 빠져서는 안 될 조미채소로 쌀 다음으로 농업총생산액이 가장 높으며 전체 채소 중 가장 많은 재배면적과 생산액을 차지하는 중요한 환금성 작물중의 하나다. 고추의 원산지는 열대 아메리카(미국 남부로부터 아르헨티나 사이에 분포)로 고온성 작물에 속하며 우리나라에 고추가 도입된 내력은 광해군 6년(1614년) 이수광이 저술한 "지봉유설"에 고추를 가리키는 '남만초'의 기록이 있고 그 도입경로가 왜국인 까닭에 '왜개자(倭芥子)'라고도 불렸으며 이것을 재배한다는 기록으로 보아 그 이전에 도입된 것으로 추정된다.
