Performance of Business Incubator According to Operating System and Manager Characteristic (창업보육센터 운영시스템과 매니저 특성에 따른 성과에 관한 연구)

  • To derive an efficient operating system for business incubators, this study examined the operating performance according to incubator operating system and incubator manager. The survey targets were tenants of business incubators and factor analysis. Regression analysis was performed according to the reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and parameter using the 19 Ver program SPSS analysis. As a result, the business incubators and business incubators operating system were found to be an important factor and among these, the H / W and system S / W systems were identified as significantly influential factors. On the other hand, this hypothesis of the performance of the support system and characteristics of the incubator manager was rejected for the variable parameters, which always appear to influence the other characteristic factors of the manager. Operational performance can be divided into an incubator performance center and tenant's performance, and the performance of the tenants were analyzed by the significant effect on the managers characteristics.

The Effect on Start-up Performance and Organizational Trust of Receptiveness for Balanced Scorecard in Business Incubator (입주기업의 성과관리 수용성이 창업보육센터 조직신뢰 및 창업성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to find empirically the effect on start-up performance and organizational trust of receptiveness for balanced scorecard in tenant companies of business incubator. In order to achieve the purposes of this study, we collected survey data for 216 employees in order to verify the research model and the hypothesis, we performed structural equation model analysis by using AMOS 18.0. Results of this study are as follows. First, receptiveness for balanced scorecard in tenant companies of business incubator has positive effect on organizational trust significantly. Second, receptiveness for balanced scorecard in tenant companies of business incubator has positive effect on start-up performance significantly. Third, organizational trust for business incubator has positive effect on start-up performance significantly.

  • In This paper we study the interrelationship between firm's strategies, MCS (Management Control System), and financial and non-financial performance. And also the objective of this study is to advance the understanding of mediating effect of management accountant on these relationships. This is a suggestion on the study of contemporary settings as little contingency work was carried out on balanced scorecard, target costing, life cycle costing, which come under the broad array of non-financial performance indicators. The result of this study finds that the higher the unpredictability of the business, the more necessary it is to secure a controller within the business. This strongly implies that the controllers must be the main subject of continued growth as they perform an active role within the overall management control process of performance indicator development, performance measurement, feedback, and reward, starting from the very beginning stages of the strategy development within the business.

  • This study examined what entrepreneurial elements of social enterprises contribute to the virtuous cycle to lay a foundation of the coevolution with communities through growth and wealth distribution. To this end, the study was started by adding the pursuit of social goals to the components of entrepreneurship, namely an innovative mind, progressive spirit, and risk sensitivity, and the effects of each of these factors on their economic performance and the social performance were examined. Within this framework, the relationships between social enterprises' performance in economic and social dimensions as dependent variables, and the entrepreneurial elements as independent variables were examined by correlation tests and regression analysis for two hypotheses and their 8 subsequent hypotheses. The results showed that the entrepreneurs' progressive spirit had a statistically meaning effect on the economic performance, and an innovative mind and risk sensitivity are influential variables for social performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a web-based database system to manage effectively data collected to evaluate program learning outcomes (PO) in a nursing school. The database management system (DBMS) was developed using a software development life cycle method: Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation. The demands for the content and system of users were collected. The system structure, database using an entity-relationship modeling, and user interface were designed based on the demands. The designed DBMS was created using GWT, Java and Apache HTTP server. The expert group and users evaluated the implemented DBMS. Problems derived from them were modified. The average of end-user computing satisfaction evaluated by 8 nursing faculty and 5 teaching assistants was 4.14 (SD =.44). The web-based PO DBMS makes it possible for nursing faculty members to access and use much of the information needed for analysis and decision-making.

An Exploratory Study on the Interaction between Learning Orientation and Environmental Turbulence - The Case of Railway Public Organizations - (학습지향성과 환경격변성의 상호작용에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 철도공기업을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to depict statistically and exploratively the interrelationship among learning orientation, environmental turbulence, and performance in the railway public organizations. To attain this purpose, a questionnaire was provided based on literature survey, and 616 respondent's data received was tested for its validity and reliability. And then, simple and vertical regression analysis were performed. The main findings are as follows: First, learning orientation has a relatively positive effects on performance. Second, environmental turbulence shows a partial moderating effects on the relationship between learning orientation and performance. These findings suggest that learning orientation do exist as an important organizational cultural dimension that contributes to the acquisition of sustainable competitive advantage, and some restrictive factors of public organizations seem to inevitably disrupt the intrinsic necessity of learning in the railway organizations.

  • This study investigated a special class or Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) system. While it has been predicted that the use of EDI will have a significant impact on the competitive advantage of organization. very little is known about the successful construction of such system. A few studies done in this area have relied on anecdotal data on data based on a small number of case studies. The major objectives of the research are to identify the factors that facilitate the adoption and successful construction of an EDI system, and to evaluate the impact of the EDI system on competitive advantage of the organization. Based on the EDI literature. organizational performance is modeled to be affected by three independent variables: EDI system. communication. trust. The level of EDI system was used as control variable. The data used to test the model were collected in a mail survey from department store in Korea. The results indicate that organizational performance is affected by EDI system, communication. The paper concludes with a discussion of future directions for research in the area of test EDI models.

  • The feature of the hotel business as a labor intensive industry and its heavy dependence on man power is relatively bigger than other industries. the important factors influencing the customer`s decision making are tangible facilities and intangible service qualities. however, the changes in economic situation are also seriously influencing them. So hotels are started to find other IT(information technology) systems. BSC which has been recognized as one of barometers to establish management performance is one of them. The purpose of this study was to develop KPI(key performance indicator) by using the BSC(Balanced Scorecard) for evaluating hotel management performance. This thesis presents customer performance, inner process performance, learning and growing performance as non-financial factors and tries to examine the cause and effect in the hotel industry. Hotels have to know nonfinancial performance which has positively relate to financial performance. To introduce BSC system is not to lead increasing income and bettermenting service quality, satisfacting customer needa for hotels, But to lead developing value enhancement to hotel enterprises and present process.

The Moderating Effects of Information Security Policy between Information Security Maturity and Organizational Performance (정보보호 성숙도와 조직성과 간의 정보보호 정책의 효과분석)

  • The absence of proactive information security management to ensure availability, accessibility and safety of information can bring serious risks to customers as well as to the organization's performance and competitiveness because improper security management undermines business continuity. This study analyzed the maturity of information security which affects the organizational performance. Through the literature reviews, a research model using the organizational performance as the dependent variable, the risk management process maturity and risk assessment process as independent variables and the information security policy indexes as moderate variables was proposed, and an empirical analysis was made on the basis of survey. The results showed that there was a high causal relationship between information security maturity and organizational performance. However, even if the proportions of information security staff ratio and the information security budget ratio increased, information security maturity did not affect organizational performance. It suggests that information security maturity affects organizational performance, but information security regulations have their limitation as being a catalyst to improve organizational performance.

  • This paper examines the performance according to the combination pattern of HRM and business strategy. The business strategy was divided into Miles & Snow's prospector, defender, and analyzer. Data were collected from the Korea Labor Institute's workplace panel survey from 2005 to 2015, and the analysis used 465 companies that are common respondents of the six wave surveys. To test the research model, structural equation modeling was employed. The results of the analysis showed that the combination of high commitment HRM and prospector had a positively significant effect on the performance. Contrariwise, the combination of high commitment HRM and defender, the combination of high commitment HRM and analyzer were not significant effect on performance.
