본 연구의 목적은 정보화에 있어서 취약계층인 노인 컨텐츠 개발을 위한 전략적 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 기존의 정보격차 해소 정책 및 연구는 주로 접근성과 정보화교육 등과 같은 기반구축에 초점을 맞추어 실제로 노인들이 이용할 컨텐츠는 충분하지 않다. 이에 노인관련 정보 및 민간의 대표사이트를 내용 분석하였으며, 다음으로 인터넷 정보검색 포털인 네이버의 이용자 로그를 연령별로 분석하여 노인들의 디렉토리별 이용실태를 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 노인들에게 유용한 컨텐츠의 질적 개발을 위한 노인의 정보욕구 및 니즈를 파악하였다.

기존의 음성인식은 청장년 층에 초점이 맞추어져 있었으나, 최근 고령화가 가속되면서 노인 음성에 대한 연구 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 노인 음성 데이터셋은 청장년 음성 데이터셋에 비해서는 아직까지 충분히 확보되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부족한 노인 음성 데이터셋 확보에 기여하고자 희소한 노인 데이터셋을 증강할 수 있는 방법론에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 노인 음성 특징(feature)을 분석하였으며, '주파수'와 '발화 속도' 특징을 일반 성인 음성에 합성하여 데이터를 증강하였다. 이후 Whisper small 모델을 파인 튜닝한 뒤 노인 음성에 대한 CER(Character Error Rate)를 구하였고, 기존 노인 데이터셋에 증강한 데이터셋을 함께 사용하는 것이 가장 효과적임을 밝혀내었다.

우리나라가 급속도로 고령화 사회로 진입하여 감에 따라 의료비 등 국민적 부담이 크게 증가하고 있는 추세에 있다. 본 논문에서는 노인들의 삶의 질을 제고하고, 국가적으로는 노인의료비 부담을 경감시킬 수 있는 노인케어 유비쿼터스 시스템 u-SCS(Ubiquitous Senior Care System)에 대하여 연구하였다. 본 u-SCS 시스템은 조도 센서에서 감지한 조도값의 차이를 분석하여 실내의 노인이 불을 끄고 켜고 한 정보를 파악한다. 이러한 점등 및 소등 시간에 대한 분석은 노인의 수면 시간 등 일상적인 노인 행동을 인지할 수 있는 정보이므로, 이를 기초로 노인들이 겪을 수 있는 건강상 문제나 일상 생활의 불편함을 해소하는데 중요한 기초 정보로 활용할 수 있다.

Purpose: This study aims to present policy and practical intervention directions by analyzing the level of disaster information understanding ability and influencing factors of the elderly at home and the elderly at facilities. Method: The survey was conducted on the elderly at home and the elderly at home over the age of 65 across the country, including the ability to understand disaster information scale (E-DLS). Results: This study found that the average monthly income, smart phone use, and social support for the elderly at home had a statistically significant impact on their ability to E-DLS. Conclu- sion: Through this study, various measures were proposed to improve the ability of the elderly to understand disaster information.

이 논문은 고령화 사회에서 치매 노인의 실종 사고를 예방하고 요양 관리의 효율성을 향상시키기 위한 위치기반 치매 노인 보호 시스템에 대해 다룬다. 본 시스템은 치매 노인의 위치 데이터를 수집하고 관리하며, 실시간 모니터링과 비상 상황 대응을 제공하여 행정력과 사회적 비용을 감소시킨다. 이를 통해 치매 노인과 가족들에게 안전을 제공하고 치매 노인의 요양을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Information service for the aged is a new challenge for public libraries in Korea. To develop an internet-based information service at public library perspectives, information sources, information need, and information seeking and using behavior are investigated. Interview survey is performed to 1060 adults aged 60 and over. Finding revealed that the respondents led to few channels to information except for mass media and informal oral communication. It ascertain ways in which 23% of the respondents currently use internet, and identify barriers of nonusers. The information need of the elderly are diverse, but health/medicine, news, hobbies, religion, leisure/travel are most identified need in descending order. Based on data analysis and previous research results, a cooperative service model consisting of information contents, online reference, interface design, and education is developed. Finally problems and suggestions for future improvement are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of information education satisfaction of the elderly welfare center on information utilization satisfaction and life satisfaction of the elderly. For this purpose, we surveyed the elderly who were enrolled in the elderly welfare center from September 02 to September 24, 2015. First, in the information cognition improvement of the elderly, it was found that the content of education of information, education instructor, and educational environment are important. And in the improvement of the information experience of the elderly, it was found that the education contents, the education method, the instructor and the educational environment factors of the satisfaction of information education were important factors. Second, in the improvement of personal factors satisfaction of the elderly, it was found that the content of education of information and education and the factors of education instructor were important factors. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between information literacy and satisfaction of the elderly.

Purpose: This study aims to suggest directions for policy and practical intervention by analyzing the level of satisfaction and influencing factors in social relationships of the elderly at home and the elderly at facilities. Method: The impact of disaster literacy on social relationship satisfaction of home-based seniors and institutionalized seniors over 65 years of age was investigated. Result: This study found that the gender, spouse status, age, self-reported health, and ADL level for the elderly at home, and average monthly income and disaster literacy skill had a statistically significant impact on their satisfaction with social relationships. Conclusion: Through this study, various methods were proposed to improve the satisfaction of social relationships of the elderly at home and the elderly at facilities.

This study examined the mediating effects of self-efficacy on the relationships between digital information literacy and life satisfaction among the elderly. For this study, data were gathered from 396 adults over the age of 60 years in a welfare center for senior citizens in D Metropolitan City. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed to verify the mediating effects of self-efficacy on the relationship between digital information literacy and life satisfaction of the elderly. The analysis showed that the digital information literacy and self-efficacy were positively correlated. Moreover, higher digital information literacy had a positive effect on self-efficacy. Furthermore, the level of information literacy using digital devices had a positive effect on their life satisfaction. Therefore, the satisfaction of life in old age is increased by the medium of self-efficacy. Based on these findings, several measures for improving digital information literacy were discussed.

The intelligent information society is expected to drastically change our lives. The purpose of this content is to derive tasks in the field of media education for the elderly for the realization of digital inclusion in an intelligent information society. To this end, the vision, goals, strategies, and tasks of the intelligent information society were examined through the 6th National Informatization Basic Plan(2018~2022) and the 2022 Education Informatization White Paper(2022). In addition, the current status of the digital gap among the elderly classified as vulnerable groups was identified through the results of the 2022 Digital Information Gap Survey. In order to ease the digital information gap between the elderly in the intelligent information society, it is believed that the development of intelligent media education services using intelligent information technology, provision of media education services for the elderly through learning online service channels, and support for digital intelligent media education for the elderly are necessary.
