권상용량 증가에 따른 컨테이너 크레인의 내풍특성 비교 (A Comparison of the Wind Resistance Characteristic of a Container Crane According to the Increase to the Lifting Capacity)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the effect of wind load on the structural stability of a container crane according to the increase of the lifting capacity using wind tunnel test and provided a container crane designer with data which can be used in a wind resistance design of a container crane assuming that a wind load at 75m/s wind velocity is applied on a container crane. Data acquisition conditions for this experiment were established in accordance with the similarity. The scale of a container crane dimension, wind velocity and time were chosen as 1/200, 1/13.3 and 1/15. And this experiment was implemented in an Eiffel type atmospheric boundary-layer wind tunnel with $11.52m^{2}$ cross-section area. Each directional drag and overturning moment coefficients were investigated.

  • The uplift capacity and displacement of an earth anchor for improving the wind resistance of the 1-2W type plastic film pipe on greenhouse was tested using the steel circular vertical earth anchor with various diameters and embedded depths (L) in dry sand. The diameter (B) of the model anchor is 90mm, 120mm, 150mm, respectively. The model tests were performed embedded depth ratios (L/B) ranging from $1{\sim}3$ in loose density. In the case of diameter 90mm, as the uplift loading increased, the uplift capacity also increased until the loading was reached to ultimate uplift capacity. After that, the uplift capacity was continually increased or decreased until the experiment was finished. In general, the ultimate uplift capacity was different depending upon the anchor diameter and embedded depth ratios.

무인항공기의 내풍성 강화를 위한 제어기의 외란관측기 연구 (Disturbance Observer based PID Controller for robustness enhancement of UAVs under the presence of wind disturbance)

  • This paper presents a method to apply disturbance observer to PID controller for robustness enhancement of UAVs. The system uncertainties and disturbances bring adverse effects on performance and stability of UAVs. In this paper, we estimate the acceleration disturbances using nonlinear disturbance observer, then compensate disturbances with composite controller. By employing nonlinear disturbance observer and composite controller, we have better performance and robustness than conventional PID controller. The asymptotical stability of nonlinear disturbance observer is presented through theoretical analysis. The estimation performance of nonlinear disturbance observer is evaluated by numerical simulation. And performance of disturbance observer based PID controller is evaluated by comparing the performance with conventional PID controller.

  • The most important element is a rise ratio when regarding beauty and economics of arch bridges. Only the effect of dead load has been considered to decide the rise ratio. In this study, when going over the rise ratio of arch bridges, examined the problems, that the determination of the rise ratio by the dead load has, by adding the factor of a determination of optimum rise ratio, which is not only the effect of the dead load that has been currently considered but also the problem with respect to wind resistant dynamic stability that is now taken seriously. Synthetically, when deciding rise ratio that is investigated in basic step of design, it is not necessary to consider the evaluation wind resistant dynamic stability.

  • 본 논문은 앙골라 주경기장에 대한 구조설계에 대해 설명하고 있다. 앙골라 주경기장은 연면적 78,000$m^2$, 지상 4층 구조물로서 스탠드 부분은 Steel moment frame으로 구성되고, 지붕부분은 캔틸래버 트러스 시스템으로 설계되었다. 기초는 파일기초가 사용되었으며, 내진과 내풍설계, 스탠드 부분에 대한 다이아프램 액션, 스탠드와 지붕사이의 Interaction, 바닥진동 등 사용성 평가가 설계사항에 고려된 프로젝트이다.

$\pi$형 단면의 내풍안정성에 미치는 페어링 효과에 관한 연구 (The Fairing Effects on Aerodynamic Stability of $\pi$-type Sections)

  • In this paper, the fairing effects on the aerodynamics stability of basic plate-girder sections are investigated trough wind tunnel tests. As basis sections, two types of $\pi$-type shape sections with aspect ratios(D/B) of 1/5 and 1/10 are employed as the basic sections. And three types of triangular fairings are applied such as right-angled triangle(F1), inverted right-angled triangle(F2) and regular triangle(F3). The effects of attack angle on the dynamic response of each section are also investigated. As the results of experiments, fairings F2 is most effective to suppress flutter phenomenon or vortex induced vibration among three types of fairings.

  • In this study, a turbulence simulation is carried out in a suction type wind tunnel using grids, where turbulent flows with various turbulence intensity are successfully produced by the change of grid size, arrangement of grids and settling position, respectively. Response tests of rectangular cylinder models with aspect ratio of 2 and 4 are carried out in smooth flow and generated turbulent flows. Additionally, two types of fairing are considered such as right triangle and regular triangle. The effects of wind velocity fluctuations and fairing are discussed on vortex-induced oscillation.

  • Even in moderate to low seismic regions like Korean peninsular where wind loading usually governs the structural design of a tall building, the probable structural impact of the design basis earthquake or the maximum credible earthquake on the selected structural system should be considered at least in finalizing the design. In this study, by using response spectrum analysis and time history analysis method, seismic performance evaluation was conducted for wind-designed concentrically braced steel highrise buildings. Input ensemble was normalized to be compatible with expected peak ground acceleration. The analysis results showed that wind-designed concentrically braced steel highrise buildings possess significantly increased elastic seismic capacity due to the system overstrength resulting from the wind-serviceability criterion and the width-to-thickness ratio limits on steel members. The time history analysis tended to significantly underestimated the seismic response as compared to response spectrum analysis. Further detailed studies regarding selection and scaling scheme of input ground motions is needed.

  • 본 연구는 전산 유체 해석 프로그램인 EDISON_CFD 해석 결과 산출 된 정적공기력계수(양력계수, 항력계수)를 이용하여 교량 단면의 갤로핑(Galloping)에 대한 안정성 평가를 실시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 특히 해상 교량은 장대 교량인데다 높은 풍속까지 견뎌 내야 하므로 내풍 안정성 검토의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 전산 해석에 사용된 교량은 이순신 대교와 거가 대교의 표준 단면을 사용하였으며, 받음각과 풍속의 변화를 주어 높은 레이놀즈수 영역에서 공기력계수의 변화에 대해 검토하였다.

  • 최근 건축물의 초고층화에 따른 커튼월 시공에 따라 유리의 비중이 증가하고 있다. 커튼월 구조는 바람, 지진 등에 취약하며, 화재 안전성에 있어서도 취약할 것이라 판단되므로, 국내외 건축용 유리 및 커튼월의 안전기준에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 국내의 유리 기준은 단열 및 내풍압 성능에만 집중되어있으며, 화재 및 지진, 안전성능에 대한 기준이 미비하며, 커튼월에 대한 안전대책은 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 외국의 사례와 같이 초고층에서 커튼월의 안전성능을 고려한 설계프로세스나 안전 기준의 세부화가 필요하다고 판단된다.
