Marshall Mcluhan, a media scholar, created the word Gutenberg Gaaxy meaning the new environment formulated by printing technic and he insisted that it changed human life entirely. In the history of human, the media evolved into printing technic through oral and transcription. This evolution of media and the environment created by the media are the most important point of Mcluhan's theory. He sees the world as the result of media evolution. In mcluhan's sight, Gutenberg Galaxy is the first environment composed by the media. Based on the mcluhan's theory, this study focused on the environment created by the media and applied it into the western music history. The link of the Gutenberg Galaxy and the western music, especially in romantic era, will be the main subject of the study. The Book is the most representative media of the printing technic. In the era of oral and transcription, the communication was limited by the spatial restriction. However, the book was free to spatial condition and this character of the book made the knowledge free. The knowledges delivered by the oral and transcription were mostly the matter of mundane world because they are so close to the human life, even though they are narrating about the God's world. The book, free to expanding the knowledge beyond the world, made the knowledge transcendent and expanded the sight of the humans into the transcendent world. The modern western world is the product of the expanded knowledge by the book and so does the music. In the time of printing technic, the music begun to gain the population by the printed sheet music. As delivering the music through the printed sheet, the music received transcendence and mystery as meeting the spirit of the times. This link formed by the time of Gutenberg Galaxy will be the main focus of the study and it will prove the link between the media and the western music.

우리 국립극장 대음악당의 음향특성을 측정하여, 해석하고 그 정식음향평가를 최초로 시도했다. 여기서 문향악과 가극연주에 대한 평가에 있어서는 특히 공시의 음향특성 Data로부터 만석시의 음향특성을 세심하게 연역해 냈다. 결과는 주로 생동감의 심핵한 결지으로 말미암아 그대로는 낭만파음악과 전형교향악은 물론이고 고전음악까지도 연구가 매우 곤란하고, Baroque 음악만이 겨우 연주가 가능할 따름이다. 가극에 대해서도 Wagnerian Opera 는 힘들고, Italian Opera 만이 어느 정도 만족스럽게 연주가 가능하다는 것을 알아냈다. 끝으로 이 음악당의 음향특성 개선을 위한 수정방안을 수개제시하고 언급해 놓았다.

The purpose of this study is to provide methods to improve the teaching of piano technique of intermediate-level learners through the works of Stephen Heller by focusing on rhythm and balance. Although a romantic-era composer, Stephen Heller's works are not well-known. However, when analyzing his compositions, many require the player to focus on their foundational piano techniques and musicality. Heller composed many interesting works including etudes that allow intermediate-level pianists to develop their musicality as much as those playing Chopin or Liszt from the same era. This study presents teaching methods for developing piano technique by focusing on rhythm and balance, and for enhancing musicality to improve the quality and significance of piano education and pedagogical research.

A common fallacy found at opera works is to lean either toward 'opera as drama' or toward 'opera as music'. One of the historical examples of opera creation to overcome this fallacy is Puccini's $\grave{e}$me>. The composer Puccini and the librettists, Illica and Giacossa, found balance between these two extreme poles, which was made possible by keeping the color of the original novel "scenes de la vie de boh$\grave{e}$me" and simultaneously by reconstructing the most operatic characters and story. Their strategies, which can be summerized as 'simplification', 'romanticization and re-creation of characters', and 'realistic description of original atmosphere'. There strategy of adaptation and the 'episodic' feature as the outcome can be a good example for creators of new opera works.

고전주의에서 낭만주의로의 표현방식의 전환은 인간개성 표출에 대한 자유라는 측면에서 그 의미가 크다. 형식이 중요했던 시기는 감정보다 이성적인 면이 발전하게 되고, 인간감정이 우선되는 시기에는 기존형식이라는 틀이 무너지면서 방종에 가까운 표현 방식도 나타나게 된다. 문학이나 음악에서도 특정시기에 필연적으로 등장하게 되는 표현방식이 존재하게 된다. 이 연구에서는 19세기 미국의 낭만주의 문학을 대표하는 에드거 앨런 포우의 작품과 마일즈 데이비스의 20세기 중반 모달재즈의 태동에서 나타난 표현 양식의 변화에서 그 유사점을 찾고, 변화과정상 50년대 후반 모달재즈의 시기를 재즈 낭만주의로 간주한다.

This case used MI techniques that give an imagery experience to depressed client's mental resource, and that makes in to verbalism. Also those images are supportive level therapy examples that apply to positive variation. MI is simple word of 'Music and Imagery' with one of psychology cure called GIM(Guided Imagery and Music). It makes client can through to the inner world and search, confront, discern and solve with suitable music. Supportive Level MI is only used from safety level music. Introduction of private session can associate specification feeling, subject, word or image. And those images are guide to positive experience. The First session step of MI program is a prelude that makes concrete goal like first interview. The Second step is a transition that can concretely express about client's story. The third step is induction and music listening. And it helps to associate imagery more easily by used tension relaxation. Also it can search and associate about various imagery from the music. The last step is process that process drawing imagery, talking about personal imagery experience in common with therapist that bring the power by expansion the positive experience. Client A case targets rapport forming(empathy, understanding and support), searching positive recourse(child hood, family), client's emotion and positive support. Music must be used simple tone, repetition melody, steady rhythm and organized by harmony music of what therapist and client's preference. The client used defense mechanism and couldn't control emotion by depression in 1 & 2 sessions. But the result was client A could experience about support and understanding after 3 sessions. After session 4 the client had stable, changed to positive emotion from the negative emotion and found her spontaneous. Therefore, at the session 6, the client recognized that she will have step of positive time at the future. About client B, she established rapport forming(empathy, understanding and support) and searching issues and positive recognition(child hood, family), expression and insight(present, future). The music was comfortable, organizational at the session 1 & 2, but after session 3, its development was getting bigger and the main melody changed variation with high and low of tune. Also it used the classic and romantic music. The client avoids bad personal relations to religious relationship. But at the session 1 & 2, client had supportive experience and empathy because of her favorite, supportive music. After session 3, client B recognized and face to face the present issue. But she had avoidance and face to face of ambivalence. The client B had a experience about emotion change according depression and face to face client's issues After session 4. At the session 5 & 6, client tried to have will power of healthy life and fairly attitude, train mental power and solution attitude in the future. On this wise, MI program had actuality and clients' issues solution more than GIM program. MI can solute the issue by client's based issue without approach to unconsciousness like GIM. Especially it can use variety music and listening time is shorter than GIM and structuralize. Also can express client's emotion very well. So it can use corrective and complement MI program to children, adolescent and adult.

This these studies on SiJo to be published Dongkwang magazine. Dongkwang magazine was published from 1926 to 1933 but in the concrete it proceeded for three years two month. It was published a little SiJo and SiJo would reflected a phenomenon of society and a character of literature. A representative characters of the Si-Jo in substance at that time was summed up three. First it described a warmth of farm village. Expecially make full use of a sensuous description expressed a landscape of farm village. Otherwise it revealed a life of austerity in farming area. Second it reflected a phenomenon of return to their home village. People who was familiar with their country loved to come back their old home. To relax their mind and body they came back home and they pursuit romantic life. Third it was a poetry of historical retrospect. Although their country was colonial situation they longed fot their country's independence. Because of this anxiety they expressed their heart by means of old sijo. Mainly using old castle, ring, historic site they revealed a hidden feelings thst they had. It was a sorrow, an eager, remembrance etc. In spite of a poor surroundings they sang hope, romance, an possibility of independence. and so SiJo reflected the phases of the times.
