Review of Research Topics on Abdominal Examination (복진(腹診)에 대한 국내 연구동향 분석 및 연구방향 제안)

  • Objectives: The abdominal examination is a diagnosis method for determining a morbid condition of the chest and abdomen by touching and pressing. This study reviewed research trends concerning the abdominal examination and suggested of future research directions for quantification of abdominal examination. Methods: A systematic literature search was carried out for relevant articles published between 2000 and 2016 in five databases such as Korean studies Information Service System(KISS), Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System(OASIS), DataBase Periodical Information Academic (DBpia), National Digital Science Library and PubMed based on the Keywords 'abdominal examination'. Results: 128 articles were collected for analysis. Overview on the abdominal examination based on selected 17 articles. Then selected articles have been reclassified by diseases of clinical research and parameters for diagnosis of abdominal examination. Conclusions: Taken together, instrument for quantitative evaluation of abdomen characteristic fit to the traditional Korean Medicine have not yet developed. It is suggested that in order to dominate the market about abdominal examination in advance, more concern should be paid to establishing appropriate development of quantitative criteria and instrument. This review will help researcher to systematically understand and to develop Korean medical device as globally competitive device.

Computerized Outpatient's Prescription using Personal Computer and Local Area Network (PC 및 LAN을 이용한 외래처방 전달 시스템)

  • We computerized outpatient's prescription using personal computer and local area network(LAN). The information and history of patient which is stored in the HOST computer is transfered to the local file server via emulatort & LAN. Then, the computerized outpatient's prescription which is made in each examination room is transfered to the admission of discharge office and pharmacy via LAN. In the admission of discharge office, drug charge is automatically calculated, and the prescription and envelope is printed out automatically in the pharmacy. Using this system, the patient takes the drug faster than before, eventually we improve medical service. Also, this system manage hospital works and administration effectively.

A Case of Aluminum Phosphide Poisoning (알루미늄 포스파이드 중독 1례)

  • Aluminum phosphide is commonly used as a rodenticidal agent in agricultural workplaces. However, reported cases of aluminum phosphide poisoning in Korea are rare. Upon contact with moisture in the air, aluminum phosphide releases highly toxic phosphine gas ($PH_3$). $PH_3$ is readily absorbed through lung epithelium and into the bloodstream. Phosphine may cause denaturing of oxyhemoglobin and enzymes important to respiration and metabolism, and also may effect cellular membranes. There are numerous complications associated with acute aluminum phosphide poisoning including gastrointestinal, respiratory, and cardiac toxicities. We report the case of a 46-year-old man who suffered from respiratory and cardiac toxicities after unintentional aluminum phosphide exposure. More intensive education for prevention is recommended.

Quantitative Evaluation on Prediction of Realization by Subjects in Diagnostic Fields of Traditional Korean Medicine (한의학 진단 분야의 미래 예측 실현과제에 대한 정량적 평가)

  • Objectives The aim of this study is to contribute to the establishment of the Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) policies in future, which is through the assessment to predict the realization by diagnostic subjects. Methods First, we evaluated 8 subjects that were deduced by professionals in 1996 regarding whether or not to be realized in 2013. Second, the governmental and private research projects, reports, articles, domestic patents and products were reviewed and investigated. Third, the Subjects in domestic fields of TKM were investigated on the followings: importance, time of realization, domestic Research and Development level, principal agents and methods for the realization, and hindrance factor on the realization. Results Of the 8 forecasting subjects, one subject was realized, two subjects were partly realized and five subjects were unrealized. Thus, their realization rate was 12.5%. The realized subject is the 'Standard naming of the TKM diagnosis'. Conclusion Continuous researches are necessary to realize the TKM subjects and moreover, professionals should predict new feasible TKM subjects, based on this study.

  • With the advent of advanced technologies in the real world, the cyber domain has become wider and cyber threats are increasing. A cyber threat intelligence sharing system is needed to more effectively defend and respond to such cyber threats. Through the definition of cyber threat information expression standard, it enables rapid sharing, consistent analysis, and automated interpretation of cyber threat information possessed by individual security control providers or organizations.

  • Recently supercavitating torpedo has been studied because of its high-speed performance as the next generation of underwater weapon systems. In this study, we present a numerical method based on the potential flow. Characteristic features of the shape of supercavities and drag forces are investigated. In addition, we introduce a viscous-potential method to compensate for the effects of viscosity. The results are compared with viscous calculations using a commercial package, FLUENT V13.

  • The pyrolysized carbon xerogel and aerogels were prepared from the sol-gel polymerization of resorcinol-formaldehyde(RF) followed by the dry process under ambient pressure and supercritical carbon dioxide condition respectively. The thermal behaviour of RF polymer xerogel was investigated with TGA analyzer to correspond with the pyrolysis process. The surface properties such as particle size, morphology and the point of zero charge of the pyrolysized porous carbon aerogels were studied for the precious metal catalyst supported media. It was found that the volume of the polymer aerogel decreased because of the significant linear shrinkage and weight loss of polymer gel during the carbonization. The point of zero charge of the carbon aerogel pyrolysized at $1050^{\circ}C$ under inert gas flow was about 10.

  • In manufacturing An offshore plant is a structure that produces resources buried in the seabed. It can be classified into fixed, floating, and hybrid methods depending on the installation method. In particular, the Lattice boom type crane is typically used because it is used for a long time in the sea and moves to other seas, which is less affected by wind. In this study, the crane was designed by using three-step optimization design in the early stage of the design of Lattice boom crane for offshore plant. Finite element analysis was performed to verify the safety factor, deflection, buckling coefficient and fatigue life of the designed crane and the results were verified.

  • The potential impacts of climate change on heating and cooling energy demand were investigated by means of transient building energy simulations and hourly weather data scenarios for Inchon. Future trends for the 21 st century was assessed based oil climate change scenarios with 7 global climate models(GCMs), We constructed hourly weather data from monthly temperatures and total incident solar radiation ($W/m^2$) and then simulated heating and cooling load by Trnsys 16 for Inchon. For 2004-2080, the selected scenarios made by IPCC foresaw a $3.7-5.8^{\circ}C$rise in mean annual air temperature. In 2004-2080, the annual cooling load for a apartment with internal heat gains increased by 75-165% while the heating load fell by 52-71%. Our analysis showed widely varying shifts in future energy demand depending on the season. Heating costs will significantly decrease whereas more expensive electrical energy will be needed of air conditioning during the summer.

  • 비점오염원에서 배출되는 오염부하량(BOD, T-P)은 점오염원의 2배 이상을 차지하고 있어 비점오염원 관리에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 이에 비점오염원의 효율적 관리를 위한 전략 및 추진과제 마련을 위해 제1차('04-'11), 제2차('12-'20) 비점오염원 관리 종합대책(이하 종합대책)이 수립 및 이행되었다. 이어 2016년 물환경보전법 개정에 따라 종합대책의 수립이 법제화되고 지난 2020년 말 제3차 비점종합대책('21~'25)이 수립되었다. 제3차 비점종합대책은 수질개선이 체감되는 비점오염원 관리라는 비전을 가지며 도시, 농·축산, 산림, 관리기반의 4개 분야에 총 71개의 세부 추진과제를 제시하고 있다. T-P 비점오염배출부하량 5% 감축, 불투수율 감축, 비점오염관리지역개소 확대, 고랭지 흙탕물 관리지역 구역 확장, 지역 거버넌스 구축을 대책의 목표와 각 분야별 관리지표로 제시하고 있다. 물환경보전법 제53조의5와 동법 시행령 제75조의3에 따라 환경부장관은 매년 이행사항을 점검 및 평가하여 그 결과를 비점오염원 관리 정책의 수립 및 집행에 반영해야 한다. 지난 제1·2차 대책의 경우 성과 점검 및 관리를 위한 체계가 부재하여 사업의 실효성 확보에 한계가 있었으며 이에 따라 소관별 이행사항 점검 및 평가체계의 필요성이 제기되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 종합대책 이행평가 전략 및 세부 추진체계를 마련하여 효율적인 소관별 이행사항 점검 및 평가를 도모하고자 하였다. 분야별 세부 추진과제는 매년, 대책의 목표와 각 분야별 관리지표는 대책 시행 후 5차년에 점검 및 평가할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 또한 종합대책의 최종 목표 달성 시뮬레이션을 통해 5차년 이후 원활한 평가가 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구에서 마련한 이행평가 체계를 통해 적절한 이행평가 및 효율적인 비점오염원 관리를 도모할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
