본 고에서는 통신의 궁극적인 목표라 할 수 있는 이동통신 시스템 설계시 중요한 변수로 등장하고 있는 핸드오버 알고리즘의 개발전략을 세우기 위해서 기존의 애널로그 이동통신에서 사용하고 있는 핸드오버 개념과 기술적인 배경에 대해서 분석하고, 핸드오버 성능을 평가하는 시뮬레이터 구성시 고려해야 할 사항등에 대해서 분석 검토하였다.

혼합현실 기술을 휴대가 용이한 모바일 기기상에서 효과적으로 구현하기 위해서는 기기에 부착된 카메라의 위치를 인식하는 기술을 시작으로 입력된 실세계 공간에 가상의 디지털 정보를 정합하고 표현하는 기술, 사용자가 표현된 혼합현실 환경과 현실감있게 상호작용하는 기술, 그리고 다양한 응용분야에 맞게 혼합현실 콘텐츠를 저작하는 기술에 이르기까지 여러 가지 세부 기술들이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 언급한 세부 기술들에 대한 개요와 국내외적으로 진행되고 있는 관련 기술들의 동향을 구체적인 사례를 통해 소개한다.

The control modes used in teleoperation are position control mode, and rate control mode. This paper presents the problems of the conventional control modes, through simulation, proposes an intelligent mixed control mode that converts the operation mode between the position mode and the rate mode intelligently by judging the operator's intention using the real-time measurement data. The effectiveness of the proposed intelligent mixed control mode is demonstrated and compared to other typical control modes through simulation and actual experiment.

In recent years, the metal industry has become increasingly aware of an unwanted component in metal scrap-radioactive material. Worldwide, there have 38 instances where radioactive sources were unintentionally smelted in the course of recycling metal scrap. In some cases contaminated metal consumer products were distributed internationally. U.S. mill that have smelted a radioactive source face costs resulting from decontamination, waste disposal, and lost profits that range from 7 to 23 million U.S. dollars for each case. Despite radiation monitoring system does not provide 100% protection, POSCO has developed the system for the first time in the steel industry of KOREA.

The interest in wine has been increasing because of raised standard of living, increased leisure time, raised interest in health. Therefore, a few wine related tourism product has introduced to public including wine train to Young-dong region and overseas wine tour package. This study focused on motivation to visit overseas wine tour package in order to segment target wine tourism countries. As a result, three different markets were segmented and they showed different characteristics with regard to demographics, tourism behavior, and preferred wine tourism countries.

In this paper, we propose a simple and efficient data input/output block with high speed between Motorola MPC8XX microprocessor and memory devices. Proposed method is capable of high speed data read and write using the address decoder and the burst cycle between Motorola PowerPC based MPC8XX microprocessor and fixed address locating memory devices such as FIFO, PCMCIA card, and so on. Experimental results are given our findings and discussions.

We investigated photoreflectance of semi-insulating GaAs with respect to modulation sources, that is, modulation beam intensity, modulation frequency, temperature, and thickness of sample. PR spectra by each modulation source turned out to be signals of low electric field third differential, and band gap values of sample were fitted by least square root method for Aspnes' theoretical equation.
