A Scheme of Database Design and Management in School-zone System (스쿨존 시스템에서 데이터베이스 설계 및 관리 방안)

  • In this paper, we propose a scheme of database management to administer gathered data in schoolzone system. By using image sensor and GPS sensor gathered image and coordination information is transferred to the system server through the networks that it is managed by the database to analyze the situation recognition. Schoolzone system implements the analysis of specific scenario to gathered data of database so that its results and corresponding implementation is reported to monitoring server and their results have been stored.

  • 출범 30주년을 맞은 국내 프로야구가 600만 관중을 넘어섰다. 국내 프로야구의 인기가 그만큼 높으며 식을 줄을 모른다.[7] 하지만 많은 선수와 복잡한 규칙은 새로운 야구팬을 주춤하게 만든다. 본 논문을 통하여 필자는 새로운 방식의 야구선수 분석 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 새로운 방식의 야구선수 분석 방법은 쉽고 간단하게 야구선수들의 특성을 분석하여 표현할 것이며, 야구를 좋아하고자 하는 사람들은 조금 더 쉽게 다가갈 수 있을 것이다.

Emotion Detection Model based on Sequential Neural Networks in Smart Exhibition Environment (스마트 전시환경에서 순차적 인공신경망에 기반한 감정인식 모델)

  • In the various kinds of intelligent services, many studies for detecting emotion are in progress. Particularly, studies on emotion recognition at the particular time have been conducted in order to provide personalized experiences to the audience in the field of exhibition though facial expressions change as time passes. So, the aim of this paper is to build a model to predict the audience's emotion from the changes of facial expressions while watching an exhibit. The proposed model is based on both sequential neural network and the Valence-Arousal model. To validate the usefulness of the proposed model, we performed an experiment to compare the proposed model with the standard neural-network-based model to compare their performance. The results confirmed that the proposed model considering time sequence had better prediction accuracy.

  • The multicasting of MCS(Multicast Server) requires a effective traffic control scheme to prevent buffer overflow on ATM subnetworks. This paper considers MCS multicasting to TCP packets, and propose EPD + SPD scheme(Early Packet Discard-same Source Packet Discard) using common buffer. When the threshold of output buffer is reached, MCS drops an entire packet prior to buffer overflow, so that corrupted packets will not be transmitted by the server. And SPD scheme show that the EPD + SPD results in higher TCP throughput than that of tail drop and EPD + DFF.

  • In this paper, we present a new form of DDOS attack and a mechanism to defend systems from it. Up to now the ultimate target of a DDOS attack is a specific host. But in the near future router attacks are expected to appear. Because these kinds of attacks may involve many hosts in the managed domain of a specific router, they will be still more serious than the current DDOS attacks. Also, we present an algorithm to defend against an attack on a router using survivability of the router. By using a survivability of a router, the router can control a quantity of traffic autonomously without an interruption of services even when a DDOS attack occurs.

  • 본 논문에서는 야구 동영상에서 실시간으로 중요 이벤트 장면을 검출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 영상정보를 분석하여 Pitching 신과 Close Up 신을 추출하여 Play 구간을 검출하고, 오디오 정보를 분석하여 오디오 이벤트 구간을 검출한다. Play 구간의시작인 Pitching 신을 검출하기 위해서는 오프라인 모델과 온라인 모델을 혼용하여 다양한 환경에 상관없이 높은 성능을 보일 수 있도록 하였으며, 아나운서의 억양 및 관중의 함성의 고조도가 높아지는 구간을 기반으로 검출된 오디오 이벤트 구간을 영상 정보 분석을 통해 획득된 Play 장면구간을 결합하여 중요 이벤트 장면 검출의 정확도를 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 실험에 의하면 제안하는 알고리즘은 1초의 동영상 데이터를 처리하는데 0.024초의 소요 시간이 필요하고, 0.89의 Recall과 0.975의 Precision 검출 성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

Seismic Behavior Evaluation of Unreinforced Masonry Structure Considering Soil-Structure Interaction (지반-구조물 상호작용을 고려한 비보강 조적조 구조물의 지진거동평가)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate a seismic behavior of unreinforced masonry(URM) structure. For more efficient evaluation, quasi-dynamic analysis method is used in this study. The influence of soil-structure interaction on the seismic response of low rise structures is discussed through comparison of the computed seismic response for the structure on rigid or dense soil and that on soft soil. The results of analytical study show that the story shear forces and the base shear forces could increase on soft soil. Furthermore, it was observed that an approximate expressions prescribed in current seismic codes may underestimate the value of the base shear force of low rise buildings on soft soil.

  • In this study, a combination of the plasma discharge in the reactor by the reaction surface discharge reactor complex catalytic reactor and air pollutants, hazardous gas SOx, change in frequency, residence time, and the thickness of the electrode, the addition of simulated composite catalyst composed of a variety of gases, including decomposition experiments were performed by varying the process parameters. 20W power consumption 10kHz frequency decomposition removal rate of 99% in the decomposition of sulfur oxides removal experiment that is attached to the titanium dioxide catalyst reactor experimental results than if you had more than 5% increase. If added to methane gas was added, the removal efficiency increased decomposition, the oxygen concentration increased with increasing degradation rate in the case of adding carbon dioxide decreased.

  • An Ad Hoc network is a dynamic multi-hop wireless network that is established by a group of mobile hosts on a shared wireless channel by virtue of their proximity to each other. Since wireless transmissions are locally broadcast in the region of the transmitting host, hosts that are in close proximity can hear each other and are said to be neighbors. The transitive closure of the neighborhood of all the hosts in the set of mobile hosts under consideration forms an Ad Hoc network. Thus, each host is potentially a router and it is possible to dynamically establish routes by chaining together a sequence of neighboring hosts from a source to a destination in the Ad Hoc network. In a network, various real-time services require the network to guarantee the Quality of Services provided to the receiver. End-to-end QoS can be provided most efficiently when each layer of the protocol stack translates the requirements of the application into layer classified requirements and satisfies them. In this study, a mechanism to guarantee the QoS in Ad Hoc networks with buffer nodes is proposed. They effectively prevent traffic congestion and yield better transmission rate. In this way QoS is enhanced.

A Shaking Snake for Contour Extraction of an Object (물체의 윤곽선 추출을 위한 진동 스네이크)

  • An active contour model called snake is powerful tool for object contour extraction. But, conventional snakes require exhaustive computing time, sometimes can´t extract complex shape contours due to the properties of energy function, and are also heavily dependent on the position and the shape of an initial snake. To solving these problems, we propose in this paper an improved snake called "shaking snake", based on a greedy algorithm. A shaking snake consist of two steps. According to their appropriateness, we in the first step move each points directly to locations where contours are likely to be located. In the second step, we then align some snake points with a tolerable bound in order to prevent local minima. These processes shake the proposed snake. In the experimental results, we show the process of shaking the proposed shake and comparable performance with a greedy snake. The proposed snake can extract complex shape contours very accurately and run fast, approximately by the factor of five times, than a greedy snake.
