Recent advancement in ICT and IT infrastructure drives the construction industry towards a IT-based industry. Accordingly, the importance of the planning phase of a project is significantly highlighted due to recent large-scale national development projects such as U-city and multifunctional administration city. various development and studies are conducted on the convergence of 3D CAD and GIS in order to support the decision making by simulation of each phase of construction prior to the actual construction of a building. However there has been limits to the implementation of the IT technology in the planning phase due to its characteristics such as high reliability on the experts knowledge and the compliance of the administration work. In this study, a trendy issue of the convergence of the GIS technology with the 3D CAD design data is suggested to improve the efficiency of a decision support in the planning phase.

To effectively secure and execute the national budget, it is very important to estimate the reasonable construction cost of each process in the construction of public facilities and works. The construction cost is generally estimated at the time when the design of the targeted structures has been completed. Without detailed sectional drawings and with only simple information on bridge structures in the planning stage or in the early design stage. it would be very difficult to predict the approximate construction cost. In this study, a more efficient and appropriate approximate construction cost estimation model in the planning stage and in the early design stage is presented and verified as reliable by analyzing the construction cost data of 61 existing steel box girder bridges from previous studies. The results of this study show that when the construction cost that was predicted using the construction cost estimation model in the design stage was compared with the cost from the conventional standards, the suggested model in this study produced results with a very high confidence level.

송도는 도시 전체를 '친환경 개발'로 기획해 건설하고 있다. '친환경 개발(sustainable development)'이란 용어는 20년 이상 회자되어 왔고, 다양한 정의와 기준에 따라 적용되어 왔다. 이 '친환경'의 주된 개념은 설계 시공 및 건물 운영과 관련한 미래 세대에 대한 고려를 담고 있다. 지속성의 개념을 가진 디자인은 일반적인 건물보다 더 긴 생명주기를 제공하며 건물운영에도 더 적은 자원을 소모한다.

2002년도 재료 및 파괴부문의 연구는 예년에 비해 더욱 활성화되었다. 부문 학술대회에서 효율적인 학술토의 및 아이디어 교환을 위해 기획 세션을 구성하여 대회를 운영하였으며, 기획 세션의 종료 및 세션 조직위원으로 활동한 회원은 다음과 가다. CAE/피로설계(이영신, MSC Korea), 신소재 및 복합재료(한경섭, 포항공대), 접합부의 강도평가(남기우, 부경대), 신뢰성 평가(진태은, 한전기술), 구조물의 손상평가(신병천, KIMM), NDT 기법 응용(윤동진, 표준연), 전자패키징 신뢰서(이순복, KAIST), 계산역학(박재학, 충북대), 발전소요소 진단 및 평가(박윤원, 원자력안전기술원), RBI-FFS-IT(최지붕, 성균관대), NT 분야(박준협, 동명정보대), 에너지 및 화력발전분야(하정수, 전력연구원)이다. 본 연감의 내용도 위에 언급한 기획 세션 주제별로 나누어 활동 사항을 요약하였다. 일부 논문은 분야가 중복되기도 하지만 본 연감에서는 주요 세션에서만 언급하였으며, 지면 관계상 많은 우수한 연구 활동에 대해 적절히 언급되지 못한 면도 있음을 발혀둔다.

2008년도 정보통신부에서 추진할 IT부품소재 부문의 기술개발 후보 중 일부를 소개한다. 반도체 45nm technology 기반 회로설계기술로 차기 SoC의 요소 IP를 확보하고, 차세대 플렉시블 소자구현을 위하여 유연성 기판위에 디스플레이 기능을 기본으로 전자소자 등을 집적화하는 기술개발을 추진할 계획이다. 또한 모바일기기에서 항상 중요한 에너지원 확보차원에서 '에너지- 하베스트'라고 하는 주변의 다양한 진동에너지를 수확하여 전기에너지로 변환 저장하는 기술을 개발할 계획이며, 산업체에 바로 적용할 단기프로젝트로 LCD의 화상신호에 따라 후면 광의 휘도를 시간 및 위치적으로 변화시켜 구동하는 면 광원 기반의 백 라이트 유닛 기술 등의 주제를 기획 발굴하였다. 본 기획 중 일부는 1월에 기술개발 신규사업으로 공고되고, 1개월간의 접수과정 후 2월 선정평가를 거쳐 3월부터 사업이 시작될 예정이다.

국립현대미술관은 김중업건축박물관과 공동주최로 건축사 김중업을 조명하는 '김중업 다이얼로그'전을 8월 30일부터 12월 16일까지 국립현대미술관 과천 중앙홀과 2전시실에서 열고 있다. 그가 설계한 30여 년간의 건축물과 관련된 사진과 자료 3000여 점이 전시중이다. 전시는 학예연구사의 안목과 해석작업이 중요하다. 역사와 문화라는 재료를 요리하는 학예연구사의 안목에 따라 그 가치가 빛나거나 그 반대일 수 있는데, 이런 이유로 학예연구사는 전시기획에 대한 권한을 갖고 역사해석, 전시방법 선택 등을 하게 된다. 정다영 학예연구사는 2011년부터 국립현대미술관의 건축부문 학예연구사로 일해 왔다. 올해 베네치아 건축 비엔날레 한국관 공동 큐레이터로 참여해 '스테이트 아방가르드의 유령'전을 기획했으며, 이번 '김중업 다이얼로그'전도 그의 작품이다. 월간 '공간'에서 약 6년간 기자생활을 하고, 학예연구사의 길을 걷고 있는 그녀는 전시라는 매체를 통해 건축의 영역과 담론을 확장 증폭시켜 관계를 맺고 퍼트리는 어쩌면 당대 건축계에 가장 필요한 일을 해주고 있다.

전 세계적인 주목을 받기 시작한 한류 콘텐츠의 확산으로 한국어 교육에 대한 수요가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있는 상황에서 효과적인 한국어 학습용 기능성 게임에 대한 가능성이 주목 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 교육의 진입 과정에 해당 될 수 있는 한글을 게임 통해 학습하고 익숙해지는 경험을 제공할 수 있는 한글 학습 RPG '단어수집가'개발을 기획하고 해당 게임의 프로토타입을 개발한다. 제안 게임의 주인공은 가상의 공간에서의 체험을 통해 한글의 자음과 모음을 게임 아이템으로 획득하고 이를 조합하여 한글 단어를 합성하여 이를 게임에 활용하는 구조를 가지도록 설계되었고, 전체 게임 시나리오의 학습 적합성과 재미 요소들의 점검을 위해 실제 기획 의 핵심 내용을 적용한 프로토타입을 활용한다. 또한 본 게임에서 기획된 한글 학습용 게임은 미국 워싱턴에 위치한 조지워싱턴대학교에서 발행하는 미국인 대상의 한국어 교재와 스토리 등을 연동하여 온오프라인 연계 한글 교육 실현을 목표로 한다.

Exposition primarily reguires the basic understanding of the mutual effect between the conventional culture and the future-oriented change of society.A number of fundamental and general research articles exist which are related to the exhibition planning and design. Unfortunately, the concrete research works dealing with the large-scale international expositions are hardly found in the literature. In this connection, this research was particularly focused on the special exposition display and planning. The International Exposition, the World Design Exposition and the International Garden and Greenery Exposition were chosen in order to examine the conceptual characteristics as the proper examples creating the fantastic space and developing the new exposition display technigue. The Government Pavilion in the Taejon Expo , 93 was chosen as an example for the exposition planning. An overall research concerning the basic direction and structure of the exposition design, the exposition display and the special system technigue was carried out in order to represent the basic spirit and theme with the most efficient way.
