The Radiation Patterns of Bent Dipole Antennas (벤트 다이폴 안테나의 복사 패턴)

  • In this Paper, the radiation Patterns of long wire antennas are computed by applying Dyadic Green's Function to the propagation vector, This result is used to analyze the polarized radiation patterns for the various geometrical structures of the bent dipole antennas. When the ratio of the vertical portion over the total length of the bent dipole antenna is 0.4major angle and axail ratio are changed most sensitively for the azimuth rotation, and the radiation field propagates strongly perpendicular to the bent antenna plane.

  • 신경회로망은 높은 정확도의 학습 결과를 제시하는 장점을 가지고 있어서 패턴 인식을 포함한 여러 분야에서 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 그러나 신경회로망의 설계에 있어 최적의 뉴런과 층의 개수, 그리고 그 연결 등의 기하학적 해답을 제시하기가 어렵고, 서은이 우수하다고 알려진 역전파 학습 알고리즘도 오차가 없는 완벽한 학습 결과를 제시하지 못하며, 상당히 많은 학습 시간이 걸린다는 단점들을 가지고 있다. 이러한 단점들을 극복하기 위해 선형 신경회로망을 합성하는 새로운 방법을 제안하는데, 이진 함수 최소화(binary function minimization)과정을 거친 minimal-sum-of-product(MSP)를 통해서 이진 클래스 패턴(binary class pattem)을 표현 함으로써 오차가 없는 학습 결과를 얻을 수 있으며, 학습에 필요한 패턴과 학습에 걸리는 시간도 대폭 줄일수 있다. 본 논문에서는 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 선형 신경회로망을 합성하는 방법을 제안하며, 여러 가지 예제를 통해 제안한 방법의 우수성을 보인다.

The study of depth information acquisition in 2D pattern image (2차원 패턴 영상에서의 3차원 정보취득에 관한 연구)

  • It is significantly important problem in computer what is estimating 3D information from 2D images. However, most of the related works have been interested in the analysis of the changes of 2D image, so that, they need much time to solve the complex equation and expensive device. In this paper, we first actively project the pattern of the sinusoidal wave into the object. Then, we measure the change of the phase from the distortion occurring according to the shape of the object, and we use the change of the phase in order to estimate the depth information. This is our proposal.

  • In this paper, we suggest the 3D Vision Inspection Algorithm which is based on the external shape feature, and is able to recognize the object. Because many objects made by human have the regular shape, if we posses the database of pattern and we recognize the object using the database of the object's pattern, we could inspect the objects of many fields. Thus, this paper suggest the 3D Vision inspection Algorithm using the Geometrical Pattern Matching by making the 3D database.

Aberration Extraction Algorithm for LCD Defect Detection (대면적 LCD 결함검출을 위한 수차량 추출 알고리즘)

  • In this paper we show the LCD simulator for defect inspection using image processing algorithm and neural network. The defect inspection algorithm of the LCD consists of preprocessing, feature extraction and defect classification. Preprocess removes noise from LCD image, using morphology operator and neural network is used for the defect classification. Sample images with scratch, pinhole, and spot from real LCD color filter image are used. From some experiments results, the proposed algorithms show that defect detected and classified in the ratio of 92.3% and 94.5 respectively. Accordingly, in this paper, a possibility of practical implementation of the LCD defect inspection system is finally suggested.

  • This paper proposes a 3-D pose (positions and orientations) estimation system based on the recognition of circular ring patterns. To deal with monocular vision-based pose estimation problem, we specially design a circular ring pattern that has a simplicity merit in view of object recognition. A pose estimation procedure is described in detail, which utilizes the geometric transformation of a circular ring pattern in 2-D perspective projection space. The proposed method is evaluated through the analysis of accuracy and precision with respect to 3-D pose estimation of a quadrotor-type vehicle in 3-D space.

Halftone Image Watermarking Based on Iterative Error Minimizing Method (반복적인 에러 최소화 기법을 이용한 하프톤 영상 워터마킹)

  • In this paper, we propose a new watermark algorithm for halftone images using iterative error minimizing method. In the proposed method, watermark bits are hidden at pseudo-random locations within a halftone image. To remove the distortions due to the inserted watermark bits and increase the invisibility of watermark, an iterative error minimizing technique is used. We define the halftoning error is defined as the difference between the original grayscale image and HVS-filtered printed halftone image. Then we iteratively find the pixel pattern with minimum halftoning error and displace the original pixel pattern with it. In order to be robust to geometrical modification like cropping or rotation, we insert the same watermark periodically into halftone images. Experiments using printed and scanned images show that the proposed method is a robust method to the geometrical modification and to hide the large amount of data within a halftone image without noticeable distortion.

  • In this paper, telemetry link budget model for small launch vehicle is proposed, and telemetry link budget simulator is implemented. The proposed link budget model consist of geometry model and propagation loss model. The geometry model is calculation of look angle between ground station and small launch vehicle. The propagation loss model consist of free space loss, polarization loss, and de-pointing loss which are appropriate to the small launch vehicle flight environment. The proposed propagation loss model can be calculate propagation loss without complex calculation of propagation environments. The link budget simulator is implemented in MATLAB. The simulator calculate look angle, free space loss, polarization loss parameter, de-pointing loss and received signal level in ground station by using position of ground station, routing of small launch vehicle, 3-D radiation patterns of antennas.

  • 본 논문에서는 4족 보행 로봇의 제작을 위한 4족 보행 로봇 시뮬레이터를 구성한다. 우선 제작하고자 하는 4족 보행 로봇의 기구학 모델링은 순기구학 모델과 역기구학 모델을 유도하며 역기구학 모델은 기하학적 방법을 이용한다. 한편 구성된 시뮬레이터에서는 유도한 4족 보행 로봇의 모델을 이용한 보행 패턴 생성 등은 PC에서 연산하며 연산된 값은 4족 보행 로봇의 컨트롤러를 이용하여 각 모터에 전송 가능하며, 이때 PC와 제어기 사이의 통신은 지그비(Zigbee)를 이용한 무선 통신을 사용한다. 또한 모든 연산 과정 및 실제 시뮬레이터 구성은 MATLAB을 이용한다. 마지막으로, 기존 걸음새 패턴 생성 방법을 이용 하여 구성된 4족 보행 로봇 시뮬레이터의 효용성을 검증하였다.
