  • Corporate business clusters create a borderless business network through value chains and value creation activities. Clusters in the IT sector are crossing regional boundaries because of their rapid technological development and short product life cycle. To investigate this phenomenon, we examined the value activities of IT companies. As a result, the global expansion of the case companies was limited, but they had business clusters that exceeded the regional boundaries. However, because the order of business clusters is not advanced, value activities are focused on productivity rather than innovation. Given the rapidly evolving nature of IT, it is necessary to evolve into a business cluster that can create new value. Companies must design and implement value-creating processes to develop new technologies or enter new markets, which can lead to cluster growth. A study on Digital-based Strategic Management on the New Normal Era (뉴노멀 시대의 디지털 기반 전략경영에 관한 연구)

  • This study decided that it was necessary to present a strategy for survival in the new normal era and securing competitive advantage, and tried to suggest a management strategic alternative. To this end, this study derives the new normal caused by Corona 19 and the business environment change trend and response strategy type caused by this through literature research and intensive interviews of 10 corporate CEOs. This study limited the scope of the study to the digital-based management and business-level strategic alternatives among strategic alternatives that can be deployed in various fields and areas. Business structure redesign strategy, resilience reinforcement strategy, ESG management strategy, and digital transformation strategy were suggested as alternatives to corporate-level digital-based strategies. As an alternative to business-level digital-based strategies, a digital strategy for industrial structure leading, a competitive strategy for digital innovation, an open innovation platform strategy, and a customer value-oriented strategy were suggested. It contributed in that it was an attempt to systematize a digital-based strategy more and it contributed in that it can support companies who have to deal with difficult situations wisely to implement strategic responses more systematically.

A Study on Employee Reward in Construction Companies Using Activity-Based Costing (활동기준원가계산을 이용한 건설기업의 직원 보상에 관한 연구)

  • For construction companies to become competitive innovative, cost management as well as process improvement are required. Activity-based costing (ABC), which uses cost information to support long-term decision-making, is a tool that enhances a company's competitiveness. In this study, we compare and analyze tradition-based costing (TBC) and ABC to confirm the adequacy of performance-based costing. In addition, we will empirically examine the relationship between the impact of the reward system using ABC on employee satisfaction and involvement. In research results, the influence of the reward system on employee involvement appeared in the order of intrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.338) and extrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.308). In addition, the reward system showed positive (+) effects on employee satisfaction, with influence appearing in the order of intrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.360) and extrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.337). And employee satisfaction (𝛽 = 0.225) had a positive effect on involvement. We were able to confirm that it is necessary to build a reward system consisting of intrinsic and extrinsic rewards to increase employee satisfaction and involvement.

  • The Serious Disaster Punishment Act, which has been in effect since January 27, 2022, requires employers or management managers who neglect safety measures to be punished by imprisonment for more than one year in the event of a serious disaster. As this Act on the Punishment of Severe Disasters came into effect this year, it has received a lot of attention from society. According to experts, most of the opinions are that the bill was created focusing on increasing punishment for companies, contrary to the original purpose of the bill to reduce the safety accident rate. This study confirmed whether these contents were true through case studies, and if this continues, the conflict between companies and workers will intensify and the safety accident rate will not decrease. Therefore, this study does not unconditionally increase corporate punishment, but compares many situations through surveys and suggests a way for companies and workers to cooperate with the Critical Accident Punishment Act to reduce the safety accident rate.

  • Abstract Corporate activities are composed of numerous working processes and during the working flow, various business processes are being created and completed simultaneously. Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) makes the working process simple, yet creates more complicated work structure and therefore, there is an absolute need of efficient management for business processes. The workflow literature has been looking for efficient and effective ways of rediscovering and mining workflow intelligence and knowledge from their enactment histories and event logs. As part of studies to analyze and improve the process, the concepts of 'Process Mining', 'Process re-discovery', 'BPR (Business Process Reengineering)' have appeared and the studies for practical implementation are proactively being done. However, these studies normally follow the approach throughout data warehousing for log data of process instances. It is very hard for these approaches to reflect user's intention to the rediscovering and mining activities. The process instances designed based on the consideration of analysis can make groupings effectively and when the analysis demand of user changes within the analysis domain can also reduce the cost of analysis. Therefore, the thesis proposes a special type of workflow model, which is called a colored workflow model, that is extended from the ICN (information control net) modeling methodology by reinforcing the concept of colored token. The colored tokens represent the conceptual types of constraints and criteria that can be used to classifying and grouping the workflow intelligence and knowledge extracted from the corresponding workflow models' enactment histories and event logs. Through the runtime information of process instances, it makes possible to analyze proactive and user-oriented process with the goal of deriving business knowledge from the beginning of process definition.

An Analysis of Access Travel Behavior to Shopping Facilities and Policy Implications Related to the Types of Shopping Facilities: Case Study in Suwon, Korea (쇼핑시설 유형별 이용자의 통행행태 차이 분석과 정책적 제언: 수원시를 대상으로)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the travel behaviors of customers accessing to three different types of shopping facilities - traditional markets(TM), hyper markets(HM), and super supermarkets(SSM) - and also to find out the most desirable location for each type of shopping facilities that encourage sustainable transportation and smart urban growth. It also demonstrates what mode has the highest percentage of modal split and what is the access distance for public transport mode by each shopping facilities (SSM: 84.5% walking and 667m, TM: 20.1% bus and 1.6km, HM : 46.2% private car and 4.2km). Among TM, HM, and SSM, statistically significant differences are found in terms of mode choices and other associated travel behaviors. The research findings are expected to contribute to finding future urban planning and transportation solutions that promote walking and public transit uses for shopping trips and thus help support green transportation and sustainable urban growth.

  • Even though Korea has long experienced single race/ethnic demographic composition, the recent rapid change of demographic diversity will have powerful impact on the HRM(human resource management) in the future. In this research we find the influence of the diversity friendly HRM to the human resource practices using the data of WPS(Workplace Panel Survey) of Korea Labor Institute. If the training for women is high, the density of the woman increased. The performance pay is introduced, then the density of the disabled person would be increased. The foreign workforce was also increased if the company used more selection methods. But the HRM practices such as talent management, yearly-based compensation systems, and appraisal program which has a tendency to reduce diversity have no significant influence to the financial performance. This findings imply that the management team should introduce the effective HRM systems to manage diverse human resources after considering the organizational culture and business environment. This research intends to find the diversity friendly HRM practices and hope to help the efforts of the management team to find effective management methods.

  • 변환기에 있는 국내 외주위탁 시장의 특징은 대기업을 중심으로 시장이 형 성되어 있다는 것이다. 즉, 전체 시장규모의 약 절반 가량을 대기업들의 그 룹내 정보시스템 관리 비용이 차지하고 있으며, 자본금 10억 이상의 대형 외 주업체가 전체 70%정도를 점유하고 있다. 대부분의 그룹들은 계열사들의 정 보 시스템 부문을 통합하여 시스템 통합 회사를 설립하고, 이를 통해 내부 정보 시스템의 관리 및 운영을 실시하고 있다. 따라서, 계열사들은 기업의 환경과 요구 사항에 관계없이 무조건적으로 그룹내 시스템 통합 업체에 정 보 시스템을 외주 위탁하여 왔다. 하지만, 기업의 미래는 정보 시스템이 제 공하는 정보의 질에 의해 좌우된다고 해도 과언이 아니므로, 계열사들은 외 주위탁을 위해 그룹내 시스템 통합 업체 뿐 아니라 전문 기술과 경험을 가 지고 있는 외부 회사들을 고려하여야 한다. 즉, 기업의 환경과 필요한 정보 기술에 적합한 외주 위탁 회사를 선정하도록 하여야 한다. 계열사들이 기업 내부의 상황과 그룹의 환경에 따라 최적의 외주위탁 전략을 결정하도록 하 기 위해 본 연구에서는 두 가지 요소 -조직의 정보강도, 그룹의 영향지수-를 도입하였다. 이 요소들을 사용하여 계열사들의 독특한 업무의 환경에 적합한 외주위탁 상황 모형을 제시하고, 제시된 모델의 적합성 여부를 검증하기 위 해 시스템 통합 업체를 가진 국내 대기업의 사례들을 분석, 평가해 보았다. 6개의 그룹에서 11개의 계열사들을 선정하여 각 계열사들의 현재의 외주위 탁 전략, 조직의 정보강도, 그룹의 영향요소 및 정보 시스템에 대한 사용자 만족도를 상위 관리자들과의 인터뷰를 통해 조사하였다. 이 사례 연구들의 결과는 각 계열사들의 상황에 따라 제시된 외주위탁 전략과 현재의 외주위 탁 전략이 일치할 때 정보 시스템에 대한 사용자 만족도가 보다 높은 것으 로 나타났다. 할 수 있는 효율적인 distributed system를 개발하는 것을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 데이타베이스론의 입장에서 아직 정립되어 있지 않은 분산 환경하에서의 관계형 데이타베이스의 데이타관리의 분류체계를 나름대로 정립하였다는데 그 의의가 있다. 또한 이것의 응용은 현재 분산데이타베이스 구축에 있어 나타나는 기술적인 문제점들을 어느정도 보완할 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성이 있다.ence of a small(IxEpc),hot(Tex> SOK) core which contains two tempegatlue peaks at -15" east and north of MDS.   • Mass production has long been the most important production paradigm in establishing a company's strategy as a method of producing various products. However, mass production cannot now be the most important paradigm as companies' competitive environment and consumer needs diversify. In particular, consumers' needs are becoming more diverse and rapidly changing, making it difficult for companies to respond to consumers' needs. Mass customization is the most notable paradigm reflecting this trend, and mass customization aims to produce a variety of products tailored to the needs of customers at a low cost. In this study, the theory and concept of a product architecture system were used to specify a method of realizing mass-customized services, and a case study was conducted focusing on the internal furniture model of a camping car. In particular, unlike previously when companies developed product platforms and modules focusing on productivity, a method of developing and configuring product platforms and modules was suggested by reflecting consumer requirements first, and its effectiveness was considered. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that it was effective in replacement, recyclability, line-up, and chargeability by designing through internal factors of the product architecture system and verifying the effectiveness of the results with external factors. It is expected that further empirical research will be led through a design process using a product architecture system in the future.

A Study on the Revitalizing Community through Corporate Community Investment: In Case of 1 Company - 1 Village Campaign (농촌지역활성화를 위한 기업의 지역사회투자활동과 중간지원조직의 역할: 농촌사랑국민운동본부의 1사1촌 운동을 사례로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate exchange between companies and rural communities in 1 company - 1 village campaign and assess functions of NACF(National Agricultural Cooperative Federation)'s 'I Farm Love' as intermediary organization. The result shows that Korea companies participated in 1 company - 1 village campaign to understand rural area and revitalize economic condition in rural community. Most of exchange programs are volunteer works and direct dealing of farm products. The functions of NACF was highly assessed as an informant and intermediary. However establishing networks or promoting exchanges between corporation and rural village were low assessed. It is necessary of NACF to make up for advanced mediation and intermediary between rural villages and companies so that 1 company - 1 village campaign become corporate community investment. Moreover functions to develop programs suited characteristic of companies and set up networks of multi-stakeholders are needed.
