Relationship between Verbal Abuse Experience, Emotional Labor and Health-Promoting Behavior of Nurses in Small and Medium-Sized Hospitals (중소병원 간호사의 언어폭력 경험, 감정노동 및 건강증진행위와의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of verbal abuse experiences, emotional labor, and health-promoting behaviors of nurses in small and medium hospitals and to identify the relationship between them. Participants were 138 nurses from 2 small-medium sized hospitals. Collected data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients with the SPSS 20.0 for Windows Program. As a result of the study, 82.7% of them experienced verbal abuse, and there were differences in the degree of health- promoting behavior according to gender (p=.032) and department (p=.009). Besides, it was found that emotional labor was related to health-promoting behavior (p=.039), and spiritual growth (p=<.01), and stress management (p=.028) as sub-factors. Accordingly, this study will be used as basic data for developing strategies and customized programs to reduce emotional labor, increase health-promoting activities, and contribute to the stable securing of nursing personnel.

A Study on the Effects of Performance Measures in BSC on the performance of Hotel Industry (BSC 관점의 성과측정치가 호텔기업의 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of financial and non-financial performance measures in BSC on the performance of hotel industry. To achieve research purpose, this study analyzed the data from korean hotel industry. Empirical results of this study show that there are significant positive correlations among the performance measures in terms of four balanced scorecard. These results are consistent with those of previous studies. In addition, regression analyses has shown that the performance measures have positive impacts on the performance of hotel firms.

  • 본 연구는 기업이 기술제품을 도입한 후에 내부에 확산시키려고 하는 실행단계에서 직면하는 혁신저항에 영향을 미치는 요인과 혁신저항을 줄이고 확산을 증진시키는 확산촉진활동을 설명하여 2B 마케팅 상황에서 기술제품의 조직내 혁신저항-확산모델을 도출하였다. 기업에서 기술제품을 조직내에 확산시킬 때는 구성원들의 혁신저항을 접하게 된다. 소비자 행동에서는 혁신저항에 영향을 주는 변수로 개인변수와 제품변수를 제시하고 있지만 2B 마케팅에서는 조직구조변수와 구매센터변수가 추가적으로 영향을 주게 된다. 중앙집권화, 공식화정도가 높은 기업에서는 구성원들이 혁신저항을 가지면서도 사용할 수 있다. 이러한 경우에는 판매기업과 구매기업의 관계가 단기적인 관계로만 그칠 수 있다. 또한 구매센터 참여정도가 적고 구매센터가 집중화되어 있으면 혁신저항이 커지고 단기적인 관계만 형성될 가능성이 커진다. 그리고 제품의 지각된 위험, 적합성에 따라 혁신저항의 정도가 달라질 것이다. 그리고 사용자 개인의 지각된 자기능력, 현 제품의 만족도 등이 의미있는 조절 변수 역할을 할 것이다. 그러므로 장기적인 관계로 이어지기 위해서는 혁신저항을 줄이는 교육훈련, 제품개선, 부서간 조정, 개인적 동기 부여와 같은 확산촉진활동이 있어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 판매기업과 경영자들은 기술제품에 대한 혁신저항을 극복하고 제품을 확산시킬 수 있는 학문적, 관리적 시사점을 얻을 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently, many korean construction companies have faced many environmental changes and demands for external changes. This demand for external changes is necessary for all companies that is under the survival of fittest. The internal/external of environmental changes affect the organizations of company largely, and these management organizations have relation with the corporate of management performance closely. In response to that, to be adapted to the environmental change and to raise the corporate of management performance, the construction companies have tried to change the organizations such as organization re-design, organization re-build, organization innovation. Because the organizational structure that is preventive in the growth of companies bring a negative effect, the companies need to have the effective organizations to raise the corporate value. The effective organizations could be used the important indicator that builds the corporate goals and manages the organizations. Also, the organization development and organization management can prepare for environmental changes can be the important base to increase the management performance. Therefore, After surveying and analyzing the character of organization structure in respect to the OLC, this study present the Organization Structure Model that can design the appropriate organization by the growth of companies.

The Effect of Firm's Internationalization on Accounting Earnings Persistence (기업의 국제화가 회계이익의 지속성에 미치는 효과 분석)

  • In this study, a firm's internationalization level was measured as the ratio of foreign sales to total sales (FSTS) of individual firms. A demonstration was conducted with several control variables that affect the persistence of the firm's profits using the Sloan (1996) model as a proxy for its primary relationship between net profit and the next profit. An empirical analysis of the end-December settlement firms listed on the securities market from 2011 to 2016 was conducted using a fixed-effect model to confirm that the persistence of the firm's internationalization and accounting profits was positive at the 1% significant level, indicating that the persistence of the firm's profits also increased as the level of individual firm's internationalization increased. In addition, the firm size, financial soundness, cash accompanying, growth, and investment ability, consistent with forecasts, represented a statistically significant (+) relationship with globalization. These results suggest that firms can maintain and expand their value stably by securing new overseas markets and promoting growth by implementing internationalization strategies.

  • The benefit of TPL(Third-party Logistics) is reduction of transportation time, accuracy, improved expertise knowledge and access to logistics information system, improved operational efficiency, improved customer service, ability to focus in core business and greater flexibility. On the contrary, the defect of TPL is loss of control, unreliable promise of the enterprise (provider),inability to respond to logistics system requirement, lack of understanding of the user business goals . This thesis aims to suggest the optimal strategic to improve the logistics system and to satisfy the customer needs and also aims to suggest the TPL method to strengthen the TPL companies. The Influence of CSR Beneficiary Appeals on the Attractiveness of Corporate Identity (CSR 수혜자 소구 유형이 기업정체성매력에 미치는 영향)

  • Companies are investing in CSR activities as a way to fulfill their societal obligations. It is expected that companies' CSR activities would be an effective investment to enhance corporate image, leading to consumers' purchase behavior. However, sometimes, CSR activities have a null or negative effect on the evaluation of company. The purpose of this research is to find ways to solve these problems and it reviews some research concerning donation and introduce these research into CSR. Specifically, this study examines the effect of CSR beneficiary appeals on the attractiveness of corporate identity and the mediating role of the inferred motives of CSR. The results show that consumers evaluate the corporate identity less attractive which employ the self-benefit CSR appeal. In addition, the findings also suggest that the effect of the CSR beneficiary appeal on the attractiveness of corporate identity is mediated by the inferred motives. These results suggest some managerial implications concerning communication guidelines of CSR. Specifically, companies need to communicate sincere motives of CSR rather than business.

The Effect of International Diversification on Dividend Payout ratio and Dividend Yield Rate (국제적 다각화가 배당성향 및 배당수익률에 미치는 효과 분석)

  • In this study, how international diversification of domestic companies increases corporate profits and increases the dividend income of paid-in capital investors, who provided the basis for corporate business activities in the process of distributing profits. I tried to find out if it had an effect. An empirical analysis was conducted using a fixed-effect model for companies with settlements at the end of December listed on the domestic securities market from 2011 to 2018. It was confirmed that the higher the level of international diversification of individual companies, the higher the company's dividend payout ratio and dividend yield. This means that companies can steadily expand corporate profits and dividend yield of shareholders by securing new overseas markets through international diversification, it can be seen that a company's international diversification strategy can contribute to the increase of corporate value by increasing the company's dividend payout ratio by increasing dividendable profit.

The Dynamic Effects of Customer Satisfaction on Firm's Profitability and Value (기업의 수익성과 가치에 미치는 고객만족의 동태적 영향)

  • It is natural that firms would like to increase their profits and value through customer satisfaction (CS). It is therefore important for the academic and practical purposes to investigate the relationship between CS and firm's performance. Previous studies about this relationship have examined mainly the current effect of CS on firm's performance. According to the research that many marketing activities have dynamic effects over time, however, the dynamic effect of CS on firm's performance needs to be tested. Failure to assess the dynamic effects might lead to the underestimation of the impact of CS. This study thus attempts to investigate the dynamic effects of CS on firm's profitability and value by panel data analysis. The results show that CS has dynamic effects on firm's profitability and value. There was a significant improvement in model fit compared with the model examining the current effects only. On the other hand, it was difficult to interpret the estimation results of the alternative model incorporating two lagged variables of CS, and there was also a multicollinearity problem.
