This study aims to identify the characteristics of the regional innovation system(RIS) and the determinants of innovation performance of SMEs. Data were collected from a questionnaire survey on 64 SMEs in the Daejeon and Chungcheong regions to uncover the relationship between capabilities, regional innovation capacities and innovation performance. The moderating effects of regional innovation capacities on the relationship between firms' innovation capabilities and performance were also tested. Empirical results revealed that R&D, marketing and entrepreneurial orientation had positive effects. The moderating effect of regional innovation capabilities on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation (risk taking) and performance was also confirmed.

본 연구는 수출중소기업의 재직자를 대상으로 기술혁신역량과 수출금융제도가 수출성과에 미치는 영향 및 글로벌마케팅역량의 하위 변수인 글로벌확장성을 매개변수로 하여 기술혁신역량과 수출금융제도와 수출성과 간의 영향에 관하여 분석하였다. 독립변수는 기술역량의 하위변수인 연구개발역량, 기술축적역량으로 구분하였고, 수출금융제도를 사용하였다. 전국에 거주하는 수출중소기업의 재직자로부터 수집한 설문지 242부를 실증분석에 사용하였다. SPSS v22.0을 사용하여 3단계 매개모형을 기반으로 회기분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 기술혁신역량은 글로벌확장성에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기술혁신역량은 수출 성과에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 수출금융제도는 글로벌확장성에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 수출금융제도는 수출성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 기술혁신역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향에 있어서 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 수출금융제도가 수출성과에 미치는 영향에 있어서 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

As research cooperation was increased nowadays, This study seeks to explores the performance determinants of research cooperation. Toward this end, this study is focused on generating such determinants as interfirm trust, commitment and corporate capability based on previous studies and existing literature. We define openness, management ability and consideration as sub-variable of interfirm trust, corporate capability was composed of R&D capability, financial capability, management capability and absorptive capacity. Commitment had no sub-variable. Also, this study was composed of two dependent variables, aiming to explore differential performance of research cooperation. Results of the empirical analyses are as follows. First, corporate capability was significant impact on research cooperation. Second, interfirm trust and commitment was not significant to research cooperation. Finally, performance differentiation between two dependent variable was not proved in this study.

우리나라의 중소기업은 국가경제의 근간을 이루고 있으며, 고용창출, 기술혁신, 산업의 다양성 등 여러 측면에서 국민경제 발전에 있어서 실질적인 원동력이 되고 있다. 이로 인해 중소기업은 기술혁신을 통해서 혁신역량을 확보하는 것이 더욱더 중요해졌으며, 내부자원의 한계로 인해 경영에 필요한 다양한 정보와 여러 가지 도움들을 외부와의 협업과 다양한 네트워크 활동을 통해 습득해 나가고 있다. 더 나아가서 시장기회를 포착하고 조직 성장을 위한 수단들을 모색하기 위한 수단으로 기업가 정신 또한 필요하다. 본 연구는 ICT중소기업의 기업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 있어 기업가 정신과 기업의 혁신역량이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 했으며, 사회적 자본이 기업가 정신과 기업성과 간의 조절역할을 하는지 살펴보고자 1,200개 기업을 대상으로 실증 분석을 했다. 분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업가 정신은 기업성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인됐으며, 사회적 자본 변수가 기업가 정신과 기업성과 간의 조절효과가 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 혁신 역량이 기업성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 사회적 자본 변수가 조절효과를 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해, 기업가 정신이 기업성과에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 사회적 자본이 중요한 역할을 하고 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study examined the relationship between entrepreneurship, learning competence and the export performance of international new ventures that enterprises entering foreign markets immediately after starting their business in Korea, and the mediating effect of learning competence. A research framework was developed with two entrepreneurship factors(risk taking and innovativeness), learning competence factors, and export performance. Six hypotheses were proposed and tested on 115 samples using LISREL. Research findings suggest that the two entrepreneurship factors positively influenced learning competence. However, export performance was affected by only innovativeness. Also, the learning competence positively affected export performance. Learning competence was found to mediate between entrepreneurship and export performance.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the type of network activity and corporate competency based on network theory and to compare and analyze the relationship between these characteristics and business performance. The results showed that the frequency, importance, and reliability of CEO's had a positive (+) effect on business performance, and the mediating effect of corporate competency (industrial information competency, opportunity capture competency, strategic flexibility, and transaction cost reduction) appeared. This study tried to measure business performance by including corporate competency as a direct performance variable of CEO's network activity and found that it is desirable to focus on interacting with the most important network sources and to make efforts to strengthen the qualitative characteristics of network activities rather than expanding the scope of the network in order to improve the performance of CEO's Network Activity.

The aim of this study is analyzing the factors and performance related to the entry control mode when a SME advances into the global market. For this, the strategic factor of the SME was divided into the enterprise capabilities consisting of technology commercial capability, internal capability, and global capability of enterprise and information capabilities that are the capabilities on the global market and on the advanced technology. In the empirical study, a total of 27 variables that include the control variables and the financial and non-financial variables as a performance variable was used. The hypothesis was also established for analyzing the effect of the entry strategies on the entry control mode and the effect of the mode on performance. Logistic regression was conducted for verifying the hypothesis, and Multiple regression analysis and T-test were carried out on the additional analysis related to the performance.

This study has attempted to empirically analyze the mediating effects of small and medium venture firms' manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability on the relation between their external information network heterogeneity and technology commercialization capability with a view to diversifying the research stream on the influential factors to small and medium firms' technology commercialization capability. By performing the ordinary least squares regression analysis, the Sobel test, and the Baron and Kenny test based on the 683 data of South Korean small and medium venture firms with the IBM SPSS version 23, this study provides the three empirical findings to be useful for future studies on the roles of small and medium venture firms' the manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability. First, small and medium venture firms' manufacturing capability partially mediates the positive effect of their external information network heterogeneity on their technology commercialization capability. Second, their testing and inspection capability partially mediates this positive effect. Third, their manufacturing capability and testing and inspection capability jointly and partially mediates this positive effect.

본 논문은 스마트 사회에 요구되는 핵심역량으로서 디지털리터러시를 제안하고 선행연구에서 다루었던 학습지향성을 자원기반관점의 핵심역량으로 채택하여 기업성과와의 관계를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 중소기업창업지원법상의 기술기반 창업기업 200개 업체를 표본으로 하여 연구를 진행하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습지향성이 기업성과에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설은 채택되었다. 둘째, 디지털리터러시가 기업성과에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설은 채택되었다. 셋째, 디지털리터러시가 높을수록 기업성과에 대한 학습지향성의 영향력이 커질 것이라는 가설은 채택되었다. 본 논문의 이론적 실무적 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스마트 사회의 등장으로 창업 및 기업성과에 대한 디지털리터러시의 영향이 중요해지고 있음에도 불구하고 디지털리터러시와 기업성과 간의 관계에 대한 실증 연구가 많이 부족하였다. 본 연구는 스마트 사회의 창업성공요인으로 디지털리터러시를 제안하여 학습지향성과 기업성과 간의 관계에 대한 디지털리터러시의 조절효과 및 디지털리터러시와 기업성과 간의 관계를 실증적으로 분석함으로써 디지털리터러시 관련 연구의 확산에 기여하고 있다. 둘째, 자원기반관점과 핵심역량이론에 따라 창업기업의 핵심역량으로서 학습지향성과 디지털리터러시를 채택하고 기업성과와의 관련성을 도출함으로써 두 가지 변수 모두 혁신형 창업을 활성화할 수 있는 스마트 사회의 핵심역량임을 확인하였다. 셋째, 연구방법론 측면에서 본 연구는 기업성과의 하위변수로 재무성과와 비재무성과 이외에 지적재산권의 출원이나 등록 등을 통해 측정되는 연구개발성과를 추가함으로써 기술기반 창업기업의 성장성 및 미래관점을 반영하고 있다.

This study analyzed the relationship between the level of the venture environment, the benefits of the venture business verification system, internal capabilities, and management performance through the actual data of domestic venture companies collected in the Venture Business Precision Survey. As a result of the empirical analysis, the level of venture infrastructure did not affect the company's capabilities, but it was found that the venture company confirmation system had a positive effect. In the case of corporate competency, it was found that it had a positive effect on technological performance, but had no effect on sales performance. However, the research results confirmed that internal competency mediates the relationship between the venture environment level and the benefits of the venture business confirmation system and business performance. This study has the implications of confirming a series of processes leading to competency and performance in the environment using data from actual venture companies, and confirming the importance of corporate competency. In addition, since we confirmed the effect of the environmental factors of the venture environment level and the venture business confirmation system on the internal performance, if the process is introduced in the later reorganized venture business confirmation system, we will examine the factors that can enhance the performance of venture businesses. A more precise check is expected.
