  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between self-management competency and employment preparation behavior of senior nursing students. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 program, frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. As a result of the study, self-management competency was positively correlated with academic self-efficacy, employment preparation behavior, and academic self-efficacy with employment preparation behavior. Academic self-efficacy showed a partial mediating effect between self-management competency and employment preparation behavior. The higher the level of self-management competency and academic self-efficacy, the higher the level of employment preparation behavior, and the explanatory power (R2) was 34%. Therefore, it suggests that it is important to develop self-management competency and to prepare an integrated strategy that can induce a sense of academic self-efficacy in order to promote the employment preparation behavior of nursing students.

To verify the hypothesis through the measurement concept, related verification was conducted for Hayes PROCESS macro and Bootstrap. As a result of the study, first, there is a gender difference in leisure satisfaction, leisure satisfaction, self-efficacy, and psychological well-being, and leisure satisfaction and psychological well-being differ significantly according to age. Second, it was found that leisure satisfaction had a positive effect on self-efficacy. Third, it was found that leisure satisfaction had a positive effect on psychological well-being. • This study examined the developmental trajectories of parenting efficacy of mothers of multicultural families and how these trajectories differentiate perceived mothers' career-related behaviors as well as the socio-psychological and academic characteristic of their children in the first grade of high school. The latent class analysis (LCA) and BCH method were applied by using data drawn from the 4th to 10th graders in 2011-2017 from the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS). Results showed that the latent profiles were classified into four groups based on the developmental trajectories of parenting efficacy of mothers of multicultural family: 'high level increasing-decreasing', 'above average increasing-decreasing', 'average unchanged', and 'below average unchanged'. As for demonstrated outcomes, the high parenting efficacy group increased when children were in elementary school but decreased when children were in middle school. At the same time, the low parenting efficacy group did not show much change during these periods. Next, parenting efficacy was a significant determinant of perceived mothers' career-related behaviors and socio-psychological and academic characteristic of their children who attend high school. Based on these results, this study implies a theoretical foundation for developing policies to encourage parenting efficacy of mothers of multicultural families and may result in positive socio-psychological and academic characteristics of their children in high school.

The subjects were 116 school maladjusted teens in Ulsan metropolitan area. As analysis methods, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, three-step mediation effect analysis, and a Sobel test were performed based on factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis, using the R program. As a result, adolescent wellbeing was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on career decision self-efficacy. The effect of adolescent's wellbeing on career decision self-efficacy was confirmed. This means that the self-efficacy of career decisions will improve as the adolescent's wellbeing of school maladjusted teens increases and there is more positive community capital. • This study was conducted to investigate the mediated effects of self-efficacy in relation to communication competency within the medical team and turnover intention of hospital nurses. Data were collected from 208 nurses working at two university hospitals. In analyzing data using SPSS/WIN 23.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and after analyzed with Multiple regression analysis using Baron & Kenny's 3 stage procedure, confirmed indirect effect with Sobel test. Evaluation of relationships among communication competency, turnover intention and self-efficacy of subjects revealed a negative relationship(r=-0.22, p=0.001) between communication competency and turnover intention, a positive relationship(r=0.61, p<0.001) between communication competency and self-efficacy and a negative relationship(r=-0.25, <0.001) between self-efficacy and turnover intention. Concerning the mediated effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between communication competency and turnover intention, the influence of communication competency at stage 1 on turnover intention was significant(${\beta}=-0.22$, p<0.001), but communication competency at stage 3 had no significant influence on turnover intention(${\beta}=-0.11$, p=0.194). Accordingly, the mediated effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between communication competency and turnover intention fully mediated and the mediated effect of self-efficacy was significant(z=-2.15, p=0.032). Heightening self-efficacy by improving communication competency could effectively reduce the turnover intention of nurses.

  • This study was attempted to confirm the effects of learning flow, academic stress, and resilience on self-efficacy in college students. This study targeted 304 university students in B and G cities. Data analysis was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 22.0 program. The average self-efficacy of the subjects was 3.14±0.62 points, and the difference in self-efficacy according to general characteristics was significant in gender(t=-2.533, p=.012) and satisfaction with major(F=5.687, p=.004). Self-efficacy of the subjects was positive correlation with learning flow(r=.574, p<.001), resilience(r=.525, p<.001), and negative correlation with academic stress(r=-.262, p<.001). Resilience of the subjects showed positive correlation with learning flow(r=.325, p<.001) and negative correlation with academic stress(r=-.291, p<.001). Learning flow showed negative correlation with academic stress(r=-.211, p<.001). Factors influencing the self-efficacy of the subjects were identified as academic commitment (β=.442, p<.001) and resilience (β=.363, p<.001) and the explanatory power was 45.6%. Therefore, in order to improve college students' self-efficacy, it is necessary to develop and apply education and programs that can improve learning flow and resilience.
