The paper presents the technology trajectory of competitive wireless technologies in wireless industry. We attempt to trace the trajectory of wireless technologies with historical data, and then analyze its pattern. As a preliminary result, we find that there exists network effect and substitution effect in the trajectory. Our result can provide insight to wireless service providers where best to focus its efforts for maximizing overall gain in their networks as well as when to establish the transition strategy towards the next generation wireless network technologies.

When the papain, which is a sort of Cystein protease, is applied to the outer skin, it decomposes the protein which forms the peeled outer skin and speeds up metabolism. The influences of sciences on literature have been much researched as relatively familiar themes, and especially the impact of Darwin's evolutionary theory has been interesting research themes on 19th-century history and "Two Cultures". This article outlines the impact of Darwin's evolutionary theory on literatures of the 19th-century British and enlightening-and-colonial-era Korea focusing on some significant features of literary changes, with help of existing researches. It will also give a brief overview of evolutionary psychology as a new perspective of literary criticism. In particular, it will try to show that many transformations of poems and novels appeared diversely depending on different circumstances and various religious or social beliefs societies and individuals were facing and having, and that new understanding of metaphor, narrative, and mind through rediscovery of nature, human and evolution underlay the big changes of literatures.

본고에서는 5G 포럼 네트워크 위원회에서 진행하고 있는 기술백서의 내용을 중심으로 5G 네트워크에 대한 고찰을 통해서 다가올 5G 네트워크에 대한 진화를 예측해 보고자 한다. 5G, 즉 IMT-2020은 홀로그램, 8K UHD와 같은 진화된 비디오 서비스를 안정적으로 사용하기 위하여 기존 대비 20배 증가된 20Gbps의 최고 전송 속도, 기존 대비 10배 향상된 100Mbps 이상의 이용자 체감 전송 속도 제공을 기본 목표로 하고 있다. 이런 5G 네트워크의 요구 사항을 기능, 구조, 운영 관점에서 살펴보고, 코어네트워크에서 필요한 요구 사항과 고려되고 있는 기술에 대한 고찰을 통해 5G에서의 코어 네트워크에 대한 이해를 돕고자 한다.

메타버스는 가상, 초월을 의미하는 '메타(meta)'와 세계, 우주를 의미하는 '유니버스(universe)'의 합성어로 현실 세계를 초월한 디지털 세계라고 정의할 수 있다. 이러한 메타버스는 현실 세계와 평행한 디지털 세계의 구축을 시작으로 블록체인(Blockchain), 인공지능(AI) 등의 기술과 고성능 웨어러블 디바이스(Wearable Device) 기반의 높은 몰입감을 제공하여 현실과 상호 작용하는 디지털 세계로 진화하고 있다. 이에 따라, 현재의 메타버스는 기존의 디지털 세계를 구축하고 활용하는 다양한 서비스가 포함된 개념으로 확장되고 있으며, 최종적으로는 현실과 디지털 세계의 경계가 없는 초현실적인 세계로 발전할 것이다. 이러한 메타버스 발전의 뒤에는 많은 보안 기술들이 필요하며, 실제 개인의 프라이버시 문제 및 보안 위협에 대한 우려가 증가하고 있다. 특히, 높은 몰입감을 제공하기 위해 이전보다 더욱 다양한 생체정보를 포함한 개인정보가 사용될 것이며, 이러한 데이터는 개인을 특정하는 ID(Identity)로 활용될 수 있다. 이에, 개인정보에 대한 보안 위협은 더욱 다양해질 것이고, 동시에 안전한 개인정보 활용이 가능한 ID 관리 기술개발의 필요성도 높아질 것이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 메타버스의 개념과 함께 진화 과정을 제시하고, 메타버스의 진화에 따라 다양해지는 ID 관련 보안 위협 및 대응 기술을 분석을 통해 ID 관리 기술의 현황을 정리한다.

본고에서는 스마트 TV에 따른 웹 환경 도입 및 진화 방향에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 스마트 TV에서의 웹 환경 도입이 콘텐츠 및 서비스 마켓 그리고 사용자에게 미칠 영향들을 우선적으로 살펴본다. 그리고 현재 W3C를 중심으로 진행중인 관련 웹 기술들의 표준 이슈들을 살펴보고, 향후 스마트 TV 주요 서비스들을 바탕으로 진화 방안을 알아보겠다.

지상파 방송에서 재난방송 기술이 진화되고 있다. 하지만 재난방송 정책은 진화된 기술을 제도화하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 기술이 재난방송 정책 변화를 줄 수 있는 다섯 가지 요소에서 정책과 기술이 어떤 간극을 보이는지 살펴보았다. 결론적으로 현재 '재난방송 및 민방위경보방송의 실시에 관한 기준'은 신규 기술에 대한 규정을 담기 부족하다. 따라서 재난경보 방송을 구체화하고 재난경보 메시지와 재난방송 수신환경과 수신기에 대한 기술적 규격을 제도화하기 위한 가칭 '재난방송 기술기준'을 시급히 마련하여 할 필요성을 제기하고 있다.

아날로그 회로는 가장 기본적인 전기/전자 회로로써 현재도 높은 중요도를 가지고 있지만, 설계를 위해서는 전문적인 지식이나 기술이 반드시 필요하다. 그래서, 아날로그 회로를 설계하기 위해 진화 연산을 이용한 기법이 연구되어 왔다. 진화연산은 최적화 문제를 해결하는 한 방법으로써 다양한 문제에 적용 가능하다. 하지만, 많은 경우 매우 오랜 시간이 걸려 재현이 어렵고 계산비용이 많이 요구되어왔다. 하지만, 최근 들어 진화전략을 이용하여 작은 집단 크기로 아날로그 회로를 진화시킬 수 있는 방법이 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는 진화전략을 이용한 방법에 기반하여, 내고장성을 가진 회로를 설계하는 기법을 제안하고, 실험을 통하여 기본 진화전략 알고리즘과 비교한다. 그 결과, 제안한 방법을 통해 생성한 회로는 기본 알고리즘을 사용했을 때 보다 고장으로 인해 소자의 값이 변경되었을 때 성능하락이 더 적었다.

Complex product systems (CoPs) is a engineering-intensive products with high-ended design technology, which are closely linked with national economic growth and development of social infrastructures. Accordingly, in order to understand the technological evolution of CoPs, it is necessary to identify the macro-environmental drivers surrounding the CoPs and their impact on the technological evolution of the CoPS. Therefore, we investigate the effect of policy, economic and social drivers on the technological evolution of CoPS by implementing the longitudinal case study on nuclear power plant during the periods between 1950 and 2010s. Based on the analysis of various sources of secondary data and primary data through interviews, we found that the technological evolution of nuclear power plant is progressed as "Phase 1: Application research for peaceful utilization of nuclear energy" between 1950s and 1960s, "Phase 2: The first renaissance of nuclear energy" during 1970s, "Phase 3: Enhancement of safety and the catch-up of latecomers in nuclear energy" between 1990s and 2000s, and "Phase 4: Top prioritization of safety and the development of next generation reactors for the second renaissance of nuclear energy" since 2010s. We also found that various kinds of policy, economic and social drivers, such as energy policy, investment in technology development, economic growth and energy demand, social acceptability and environmental concern, have affected the technology evolution of nuclear power plant at each phase. We emphasize the role of macroenvironmental drivers in the technological evolution of CoPS. We also suggest that countries that endeavor to develop CoPs need to utilize those drivers for enhancing competitiveness and sustaining leadership.

Forest fires were easy to be larger in Korea. So the utilization of aircrafts, especially helicopters, for forest fire attack would be increased gradually. In the forest fire attack process, the improvement of the helicopter aerial fire attack technique and safety were the chief element for efficient forest fire attack. In this study, we surveyed the recognition of pilots who worked in Forest Aviation Office which was responsible for aerial forest fire attack in Korea. Using these survey results, we suggested more efficient and safer method for aerial fire fighting based on actual experience of air attack at the scene of forest fire burning.
