중년여성 기성복 하의의 착용실태 및 맞음새에 관한 연구 -만 34세에서 59세까지- (A Study on the Actual Wearing Conditions and Fit Preferences of the Middle-Aged Women's Ready-to-Wear Lower Body Clothing - For women aged 34 to 59-)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the actual wearing conditions and body fit preferences of the middle-aged women's ready-to-wear lower body clothing. The aim was also to analyze lower body recognition, lower body satisfaction, fit preferences and size satisfaction according to age and degree of girth size. A questionnaire was developed and administered to 300 middle-aged women aged 34 to 59. Statistical tests such as descriptive analysis, crosstabs, and X²-tests were conducted to analyze the data and ascertain the differences between the ages. Lower body satisfaction and recognition were compared by T-test. Also, Anova was used to analyze lower body recognition, satisfaction, fit preferences, and size satisfaction according to age and degrees of girth size. The results indicated that women aged 50 to 59 were more dissatisfied with the ready-to-wear sizing system and because of their body shapes had changed, their need for a larger size range system had also increased. Moreover, the element that most affected their purchase of ready-to-wear lower body clothing was the design followed by the size. The women, especially of the ages 50 to 59, showed a tendency to he dissatisfied with their lower bodies and they recognized that their lower bodies had thickened compared to women aged 34 to 39 and 40 to 49. Analysis of body satisfaction, recognition, and fit preference according to girth size showed that the group of larger girth size recognized that their lower bodies were thicker and were more dissatisfied and preferred looser fittings than the groups of smaller women.

초등학교 5, 6학년 남학생의 기성복 치수 적합성에 관한 실태 조사 (Survey on the Suitability of Sizing System for Ready-to-wear Garment Focusing on the Boys Aged between 10 and 11)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the propriety of the ready-to-made garment sizes of the boys aged between 10 and 11. The data were collected from 315 boys in the capital area. They were surveyed during the period of April, 2004. Data analysis has been performed through descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan test using SPSS ver.10. The results of the analysis are as follows. According to the result of investigating the favorite fashion style of boys, most boys aged between 10 and 11 preferred casual style(jean pants & T-shirts). Boys of age 10 preferred formal style and 11-year-old boys tend to prefer hip-hop style. When boys buy garments, boys aged between 10 and 11 were influenced by their mother or family. The store in which 10-year-old boys purchased their garments was either a children's or a sports wear store, and boys of 11 age prefer young casual wear store. The highest factors of dissatisfaction on buying garments were price and size. According to the result of evaluating fitting problems, the highest degree of dissatisfaction upon proper fitness upper-arm circumference, waist circumference and pants length.

미국내 아시아 여성들의 기성복에 대한 맞음새 인지도 연구 - 미네소타주 트윈시티 거주자를 중심으로 - (Perceived Fitting Problems of Ready-to-Wear Garments with Asian Women in U. S. A. - Focusing on the residents of Twin Cities in Minnesota -)

  • Recently, the population of Asian people has increased constantly in the United States., but appearances, culture and thoughts of Asian people are different with Americans in various ways, especially body shapes. Despite the recent developments in apparel size ranges in U. S. A., few changes have been made in sizing for Asian Women. Size ranges designed for Asian Women are not available on the mass market in U. S. A. They have many difficulties in finding clothing that fits well. Especially they do experience such as clothing problems in varying degrees. Therefore this research was designed to investigate the specific clothing problems of Asian Women in relation with size and fit, Asian Women's present means of resolving their clothing problems in U. S. A. 60 Asian Women in Twin cities, Minnesota were interviewed during the period of October, 1991. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics for demographic information on the selected sample and the chi-square test for relationships between the independent variables and clothing problems. The results indicated that most respondents had shopped in a department store and 38.3% of the respondents answered rarely-fit of suit. Also 40% of the respondents answered that pants length was too long. There were significant relationships between the demographic variables i.e. age, marital status, occupation, height and clothing problems of Asian women.

Comparison of New Hanbok Jeogory Pattern for Customizing System Development

  • 본 연구는 소재 특성, 맞음새, 여밈 등을 고려하여 변화되고 있는 신한복 저고리의 패턴을 비교 분석해봄으로써 시판 신한복 브랜드 간의 저고리 패턴의 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 6개 제품을 구매, 분해한 후 분해 패턴을 가지고 분석을 실시하였다. 저고리 형태의 경우, 1, 3, 6브랜드의 경우 다트가 없는 형태를 나타냈고 5브랜드는 프린세스라인으로 인체의 입체감을 표현하였다. 외관 평가결과, 5브랜드가 앞품너비의 여유량, 뒤소매진동의 군주름을 제외한 대부분의 항목에서 가장 높게 평가되어 외관이 가장 우수한 것으로 분석되었다. 의복압은 1브랜드의 경우 다른 브랜드의 제품보다 가슴둘레가 작고 어깨폭이나 길이도 짧아 착용 후 당김 현상이 발생하였다. 신한복에 대한 수요가 증가됨에 따라 기성복화하여 사이즈 체계에 대한 확립이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

여중생의 기성복 치수적합성과 치수체계에 관한 연구 (A Study 2nd Proposal on the Sizing System for Middle-School Girls' Clothing)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate a sizing system of ready-to-wear clothes for middle-school girls. Results of the study are as follows. 1. Results of the survey revealed most middle-school girls preferred garments for women like unisex-casual and young-casual, and prioritized overall style and design over sizing issues. However, when they purchased clothes, they were dissatisfied with the poor fit of ready-to-wear clothing, which is a little too big for average middle-school girls. 2. There is a difference between a brand's target age and its average consumer age. $96.7\%$, of respondents purchased clothes from unisex-casual and young-casual brands, which sizes did not fit for them. Most of these brands had female adults ages 18 to 24 as their targets, whose somatotypes do not correspond with those of girls 12 to 15 years old. 3. Body measurements of those in age groups from 12 to 15 and from 10 to 24 were analyzed to identify physical differences between middle-school girls and female adults, which confirmed the relevance of different sizing systems for each age group. As a result, it is undesirable that middle school girls' clothes are designed in accordance with sizing system for female adults' garments. 4. Using the two-wav distribution of middle school girls' stature-bust circumference for upper garments, and stature-waist circumference for lower garments, this study establishes a sizing system in sections of high frequency. The size intervals of stature and circumference were 5cm and 3cm respectively.

3D scanner를 이용한 여성복 재킷의 패턴 사이즈에 따른 착의평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Ready-Made Jacket for Women according to Pattern Size Using 3D Scanner)

  • 본 연구에서는 기성복의 맞음새와 치수체계에 따른 문제점을 제시하기 위하여 현재 시판되고 있는 여성복 재킷을 중심으로 사이즈별 각 패턴의 치수 및 공극량 분석을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 재킷에 대한 관능검사(self sensory test)결과, 패턴 B의 점수가 가장 낮았으며, 동일한 사이즈의 의복임에도 불구하고 재킷의 착용감은 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 패턴 계측 결과 각 브랜드간의 패턴 그레이딩 량은 차이를 나타내어 동일한 사이즈임에도 불구하고 여유량이 서로 다르게 나타났으며, 수직방향보다는 수평방향의 증가량이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 3. 3D scanner를 이용하여 인체 및 착의인체를 스캔한 결과, 3차원 입체 형상으로 의복의 착의상태를 볼수 있으므로 2차원 정보를 얻을수 있는 사진촬영 결과에 비하여 활용성이 높으며 촬영거리에 따른 피사체의 왜곡이 없으므로 정확도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 4. 패턴별 평균공극길이에 대한 유의성 검증 결과, B88사이즈의 허리부위를 제외한 모든 부위에서 유의성이 인정되지 않았으며 사이즈별 평균공극길이에 대한 유의성 검증결과에서는 품, 배, 엉덩이부위에서 유의성이 인정되어 사이즈가 커질수록 이들 부분의 여유량 설정에 신중을 기하여야한다.
