Effect on Food Choice Satisfaction and Food Cost Reduction of Food Donation Program (기부식품제공사업이 저소득층 이용자의 식품만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper aims to analyze qualitative, quantitative and kinds's satisfaction of donated food of low-income users and to propose reasonable suggestions to food assistant policy. The results of analysis are as follows. First, satisfaction level of quantitative is the lowest. Second, the quantitative and kind's satisfaction level of donated foods in the demographic characteristics show generally higher satisfaction level in the case charter or lent and poor health condition. The satisfaction level of donated foods in the economic characteristics show generally higher satisfaction level in the case low cost of living and foods. In general, low-income users in harsh environments show higher satisfaction all areas. Third, the result by features and satisfaction of food donated by the impact factor analysis, food market user's satisfaction of food is high more than food bank. In order to meet needs of various users, operational bodies need to put more efforts such as diversifying promotional strategies and developing programs and local and central government should effectively formulate welfare budget to support such efforts.

Component analysis and immuno-stimulating activity of Sparassis crispa stipe (꽃송이버섯 기부의 성분분석 및 면역활성)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the component and immunoregulatory effects of Sparassis crispa stipe. Herein, S. crispa was divided into the pileus and stipe to compare their ingredients (${\beta}-glucan$), antioxidant activity (in vitro), and the immunoregulatory function (cytokines, leukocytes, and spleen weight). The ${\beta}-glucan$ content in each part showed about 1.8 times higher content in the stipe than that in the pileus. The stipe also showed a higher total phenol content and antioxidant activity than the pileus. The cytokines $TNF-{\alpha}$, IL-2, and IL-10 have adjusted in the S. crispa extract-injected groups. In addition, the number of leukocytes was also significantly elevated in the rats administered with the S. crispa stipe extract. These results suggest that the stipe of S. crispa has great potential as an ingredient in functional foods.

Effects of Fermented Sparassis crispa Stipe Extract Supplemented Diet on the Immune Responses of Philippines Eel, Anguilla bicolor (꽃송이버섯 기부 발효물 첨가 사료가 장어의 면역반응에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the immune response of Philippines eel (Anguilla bicolor) to the oral administration of fermented Sparassis crispa stipe extract for 6 weeks. The S. crispa extract fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum showed a higher total phenol content (301.68 ppm) and DPPH radical scavenging activity (63.9%) than those fermented with other strains. Therefore, L. plantarum was selected as a suitable starter culture for the fermentation of S. crispa stipe. The eels were fed a commercial diet supplemented with 1% of fermented S. crispa stipe extract for 6 weeks. The mortality rate of the eels fed the supplemented diet was significantly lower than those of the control after 6 weeks. The lysozyme activity of the serum was increased significantly (12.33 ${\rightarrow}$ 54.66 units) after 6 weeks in the eel fed supplemented diets of fermented S. crispa stipe. The serum of the eel fed the supplemented diet of the S. crispa stipe extract showed higher bactericidal activity. These results suggest that both the S. crispa stipe extract and fermented S. crispa stipe have strong potential to activate the innate immune response of the Philippines eel.

  • 경남 함안군 군북면에 위치한 희만농장(대표 고희만)은 강황, 자가 발효 미생물, 비타민 등으로 닭의 면역력을 증가 시키고 특수 맞춤 사료로 고품질 계란을 생산하고 있다. 이와 함께 가정배달 및 택배서비스로 산란 후 24시간 이내에 계란을 소비자에게 직접 전달하고 있기도 하다. 한편, 지역 소외계층에게 계란과 닭고기를 기부하는 등 선행도 앞장서고 있는 희만농장 이다. 이번호에는 국립농산물품질관리원 주최 농식품명품선발대회에서 계란부문 최우수상을 받았고 대통령표창 2회 수상에 빛나는 고희만 대표를 만나 농장운영 상황에 대해 들어 보았다.

  • Square slices of sea tangle was dried in hot air drier that could be controlled air temperature, relative humidity and air velocity. Under various drying conditions, drying and shrinking characteristics were investigated. 1) During drying sea, tangle, the constant rate period was nonexistant and the falling rate could be devided into a 2 periods, namely, a first falling rate period and a second falling rate period. 2) The tip part was proceeded more shrinkage than base part, and under drying condition of air temperature $50^{\circ}C$, relative humidity $30\%$, air velocity 0.4m/s, when the moisture content was reduced to $20\%$, the shrinking ratio of tip part, middle part and base part were 57.5, 54.0 and $42.7\%$, respectively. 3) The drying shrinking and drying rate increased with decreasing relative humidity, but when the moisture content was reduced to $20\%$, the shrinking ratio increased with increasing relative humidity.

  • KWON, Oh Yong (Chunju Teacher's Coll.) Partern of the amino acids influedced on nitrogen metabolism of edible bamboo sprouts. Kor. Jour. Bot. VI (4) : 5-10, 1963. It had been scarcely reported by any worker that the essential amino acids to be indispensable in our daily life contained in edible bamboo sprouts and that they had various pattern of free amino acids. For this reason, especially two species of Korean bamboo sprouts collected from the surburb of Chunju, in April, 1963 were used for researching the essential amino acids and free amino acids appeared on paper chromatography. The most suitable part for our edibles was investigated as a part of bio-chemical studies on Korean bamboo sprouts. The free amino acids contained in two species were found as 5-15 kinds and there were a few of difference according to it's growing parts. Many kinds of free amino acids were found in the end parts more than the tip parts and mid parts of bamboo sprouts. Besides, the essential amino acids in each species were found to 3-9 kinds. From the characteristics and the experiments marked above, it was suggested to the author that many kinds of free amino acids in the end part accelerated the formation of nitrogen comounds more than the other parts.

Effect of Gamma Irradiation and Post-Irradaition Treatment of Preservatives on the Cut Flower Longevity of Rose and Mum. (감마선 조사와 조사 후 보존제 처리가 절화 장미 및 국화의 수명에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to determine the effect of dose and timing of gamma irradiation and post-irradiation treatment with some preservatives of cut flowers on their longevity of rose and chrysanthemum. Cut roses which were soaked in 2% sugar solution persist to 0.75 kGy irradiation treatments. In post-treatments with some preservative solutions, the mixture group of 2% sucrose,2000m silver nitrate and 3.0% crysal were available in flower quality, but the 200 ppm silver nitrate solution treatment showed serious blackening of floral stems and resulted On negative effect in flower quality. Effect of gamma irradiation and all preservative solutions on the cut mum longevity were showed almost same tendency with rose cut flower longevity experiments. The 2% sugar dipping solution in mum cut flower showed the most superior preservative effect compared with the my other preservative solutions tested. Also non-irradiated treatment extended to flower up to complete wilt.

Several Treatments of Veronica rotunda Nakai for Pot Cultivation (분화 재배를 위한 둥근산꼬리풀의 몇 가지 처리)

  • 둥근산꼬리풀(Veronica rotunda Nakai)은 다년생 초본으로 높은산 정상에서 자라며, 초장은 10~20 cm, 잎의 길이는 2~4 cm 정도이다. 또한, 기부의 잎은 엽병이 불분명하고, 줄기에는 털이 없는 것으로 알려져 있다. 관상소재로 이용되고 있으나, 식물정보는 매우 부족하며, 활용하기 위해서는 재배 연구와 식물에 대한 정보 수집이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 둥근산꼬리풀의 관상용 재배 시 적정 차광, 기비, 추비, 왜화제 및 적심 등의 처리 정도를 알아보고자 수행하였다. 재배방법의 확립을 위하여 선행연구에서 육묘한 유묘(2018년 5월 15일에 파종하여 생산)를 7월 16일에 정식하여 10월 15일까지 약 14주 동안 재배하였다. 공통조건은 플라스틱 화분 10호(이색포트, $9{\times}9cm$)에 원예상토를 충진하고, 200구 트레이에 셀 당 4립씩 파종하여 생산된 1셀을 정식하였다. 차광 정도 실험은 0, 55, 75% 차광막을 이용하였으며, 기비는 싱싱코트를 0, 10, 20알 처리하였고, 추비는 hyponex (N:P:K, 4:6:6)를 0, 1000, $2000mg{\cdot}L-1$의 농도로 엽면시비 하였다. 또한, 관상효과 증가를 위해 왜화제는 diniconazole, daminozide를 농도별(각 0, 1000, $2000mg{\cdot}L-1$)로 처리하였고, 적심은 4주차에 1회 처리 유무의 효과를 비교하였다. 연구의 결과, 둥근산꼬리풀에 기비 10알 처리는 생육에 유의적인 차이는 보이지 않았으나, 20알 처리는 무처리와 10알 처리에 비해 절간장, 경직경이 증가하는 결과가 나타났다. 추비는 절간장을 증가시켰으나, 측지수와 마디수는 유의적으로 감소시켰다. 차광처리별로는 55, 75% 차광 모두 무차광에 비해 측지수, 마디수, 엽수 및 개화율을 크게 감소시키는 결과를 보여, 둥근산꼬리풀는 광이 충분한 곳에서 재배하는 것이 적합한 것으로 생각된다. 왜화제의 처리는 종류와 농도에 관계없이 둥근산꼬리풀은 측지수, 마디수, 엽수를 감소시키는 결과를 보였다. 또한 초장이 짧아지고 경직경은 두꺼워졌으나, 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 종류별로는 daminozide $2000mg{\cdot}L-1$ 처리는 무처리에 비해 개화율이 증가하여, 둥근산꼬리풀의 분화용 재배시 daminozide $2000mg{\cdot}L-1$를 처리하는 것이 효과적이다. 적심처리는 무처리에 비해 전반적인 생육 및 개화를 억제하는 결과가 나타났다. 결론적으로 둥근산꼬리풀의 분화용 재배시 광량이 충분한 곳에서 재배하고, 기비와 추비는 절간장을 증가시키며, 측지수, 마디수, 엽수에 큰 차이가 없거나 감소하는 결과를 보여 관상용 재배에 적합하지 않은 것으로 판단된다. 추가적으로 daminozide $2000mg{\cdot}L-1$를 처리하며, 적심처리를 하지 않는 것이 좋을 것으로 생각된다.

An Analysis of the Influence Factors of Satisfaction of Food Bank Service Users (Focusing on Users in Gyeonggi-do Province) (푸드뱅크 서비스 이용자의 만족도 영향요인 (경기지역 이용자를 중심으로))

  • The purpose of this study was to derive the impact factors through multi-return analysis by dividing the satisfaction level of the users of the Food Bank into service satisfaction, food satisfaction, and facility and environment satisfaction and then present a plan for improving service quality. As a result, first of all, the analysis shows that the service satisfaction was not statistically significant. Second, the satisfaction level of food was higher when they get cooked food and when the frequency of support was low. It can be interpreted as important to users to properly solve the problem of fasting through cooked food rather than the frequency of food provision. Third, the satisfaction level of the facility and environment was higher for those with higher educational background, lower monthly income, and higher food expenditure after the support. Users with high educational background value information, service hours, facilities and environment hygiene, and users with low monthly income and high food expenditure even after receiving support can infer the need for food bank services to solve the problem of fasting. Based on these findings, it emphasized the need to develop user-centered services so that the problem of fasting could be effectively resolved in consideration of the conditions of service users.
