A Low Power Resource Allocation Algorithm based on Minimizing Switching Activity (스위칭 동작 최소화를 통한 저 전력 자원할당 알고리즘)

  • This paper proposed a low power resource allocation algorithm for the minimum switching activity of operators in high level synthesis. In this paper, the proposed method finds switching activity in circuit each functional unit exchange for binary sequence length and value bit are logic one value. To use the switching activity was found the allocation with minimal power consumption, the proposed method visits all control steps one by one and determines the allocation with minimal power consumption at each control step. As the existing method, the execution time can be fast according to use the number of operator and maximal control step. And it is the reduction effect from 8.5% to 9.3%.

  • IPv6 프리픽스를 자동으로 할당 받기 위한 메커니즘으로 IETF 워킹그룹을 중심으로 DHCPv6 프리픽스 옵션을 이용한 방식과, APD 기술을 이용한 방식으로 나눌 수 있다. 본 고에서는 IPv6 네트워크 환경에서 라우터의 프리픽스 할당 및 플러그 앤 플레이 기능을 지원하는 DHCPv6 프리픽스 옵션을 이용한 기술을 중심으로 현재 표준화 동향 및 프로토콜 동작과정에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 이동환경에 따른 기지국에서의 전력제어에 의한 위치검출 및 등록, 관리기능, 핸드오프 등과 같은 여러가지 기능들 중 사용자 단말에 대한 이동성을 보장하여 사용자가 자신의 기지국을 벗어난 경우에도 중단 없는 서비스 제공이 가능하도록 해주는 핸드오프 절차와 기법에 대해 고찰한다. 또한 BSA(Basic Service Area)에 독립적으로 분산되어 있는 이동단말들을 대상으로 기존의 방식에서의 자원할당방식을 고찰한다. 본 논문에서는 외국에서의 연구사례를 고찰하여 상대적인 비교를 토대로 사용자 단말에 이동성을 보장하며, 또한 이용률을 극대화시키기 위한 동적자원 할당이 가능한 VCT, NCNR 방식을 제안한다.

  • This paper proposes a new heuristic algorithm of a low power hardware allocation for Design Automation. The proposed algorithm works on scheduled input graph and allocates functional units, interconnections and registers by considering interdependency between operations and storage elements in each control step, in order to share registers and interconnections connected to functional units, as much as possible. The low power factor of the capacitance is reduced during the allocation. As the resource number reduce maximal . This paper shows the effectiveness of the algorithm by comparing experiments of existing system of the non low power.

  • In this paper, conventional STM(Synchronous Transfer Mode) supports another traffics by using idle channels. Proposed mobile terminals are distributed independently at the BSA(Basic Service Area). So, MAC(Medium Access Control) specified on the wireless ATM networks, which is managing statistics multiplewing functions, idle channel's ultilization is maximized and multimedia service characteristic for conventional wired networks based fixed assignment scheme(connection-oriented) and random assignment scheme(connection-oriented) improving on dynamic reservation based MAC protocol.

  • In this paper, we propose a minimal power data path allocation algorithm for low power circuit design. The proposed algorithm minimizes switching activity for input variables in scheduled CDFG. Allocations are further divided into the tasks of register allocation and module allocation. The register allocation algorithm execute that it eliminate spurious switching activity in functional unit and minimize the numbers of multiplexer. Also, resource allocation method selects a sequence of operations for a module such that the switching activity is reduced. Therefore, the algorithm executes to minimize the switching activity of input values, sequence of operations and number of multiplexer. Experimental results using benchmarks show that power is reduction effect from 13% to 17% power consumption, when compared with the Genesis-lp high-level synthesis system.

  • The most of military systems that developed today are composed with many sub-systems for mission execution. The test of military systems for delivery test of mass product such that part test, PCB test, component test, integration test. Improving productivity is minimize testing item by man and minimize kind of tester, so that decrease product cost by production time for test. PCB tester be developed many kind of test method that systems were developed by many different engineers. This article studies testing check point for testing that how to minimize of kind of tester, how to automatic test for all of function that have inputs and outputs. Development of tester for improving productivity requires classify functional allocation of main system and sub system, sub system require PCB for functional allocation start on preliminary design period for reducing testing item and testing fixture.

  • When mobile node moves into the different IP address area, the mobile node can be set the proper environment parameters automatically by DHCP. If we extend the DHCP option field to support the roles of home agent and foreign agent in mobile IP protocol, mobile node can perform the foreign address registration process of mobile IP protocol when DHCP IP environment is achieved automatically, too. DHCP is supplied in the PC with a series of Windows NT. This paper proposes and implements the functional blocks of extended DHCP nodes and this enables the DHCP node have a role of mobile IP agents without another protocol functional blocks.

  • 현재 인터넷의 사용자가 증가하면서 무선 서비스를 요구하는 사람들도 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이동노드는 홈에이전트를 떠나 다른 지역으로 이동하면 외부에이전트에 의해 새롭게 IP주소를 할당받게 되고, 할당받는 IP주소를 가지고 상대노드와 패킷을 주고받는다. 그러나 외부에이전트가 작동을 정상적으로 하지 못하면 이동노드들은 제 기능을 다 할 수 없다. 또한, 현재 호스트은 그 기능이 매우 향상되었으므로, 본 논문에서는 외부에이전트의 기능을 이동노드에게 부여하여 기존 이동IP(Mobile IP)의 절차를 간소화하고, 외부에이전트의 제약 없이 이동환경을 만들 수 있는 기법과 이동노드와 상대노드 사이에 주고받는 패킷의 속도를 향상시키기 위하여 레이블 스위칭기법을 제안하였다. 이러한 제안에서의 장점과 기법을 연구하고 앞으로의 과제를 제기하도록 한다.
