This study was an examination of the relevance and clinical significance of electroencephalographic (EEG) indexes (e.g., mental/physical stress and attention) and indexes of heart rate variability (HRV) with regard to cognitive function and physiological health conditions in elderly people. A device was used to record two-channel EEGs of the frontal lobe and a one-channel ECG simultaneously. Subjects were 76 people average aged 73. The significant findings are as follows: First, subjects whose intrinsic alpha rhythm had high amplitude, regardless of peak, showed higher resistance to mental stress and lower physical stress than did subjects with low-amplitutde intrinsic alpha rhythm. Second, HRV, SDNN, and RMSSD indexes showed strong positive correlations between the two groups of subjects regardless of the division of groups. Third, the alpha asymmetry of the left and right sides of the brain in subjects with low-amplitude intrinsic alpha rhythm was larger, and the delta/alpha ratio (reflecting physical stress) and theta/sensorimotor rhythm (SMR) ratio (showing the decline in attention) were bigger. Fourth, the subjects in whom intrinsic alpha rhythm peak occurred during slow rhythm had a higher theta/SMR ratio than did subjects whose peak occurred during fast rhythm, which was related to a steeper decline in attention. Therefore, the presence or absence of intrinsic alpha rhythm peak and amplitude on quantitative EEG may be an index reflecting the cognitive function and physiological health of elderly people.

Filmic spaces are not only a core expressive factors that can embody both internal and external meanings of films, but also play an important role for initiating dramatic context in terms of narratives. They establish visible environment in which provocative incidents occur and characters' behaviors are induced, include characters' psychology or emotional meanings of narratives and provoke tensions through symbolic meanings and the implicit function of surface background. This paper, therefore, analyzes the film, , by focusing on the dramatic function of narrative space. This film provides insights and thoughts through deep philosophical reflection, by escaping from the convention of such a genre, through deep philosophical reflection, by escaping from the convention of such a genre, though it belongs seemingly to the crime thriller genre using Mexico's drug cartel as it main material. In the film, narrative spaces are responsible for emotions invoking dramatic tensions beyond provocative incidents and the elaborately planned and controlled mise-en-scene absorbed audiences' attention by organizing ultimate suspense. In conclusion, flow and dramatic lingering imagery of this film might be achieved by power of scenes rather than plot factors. This study thus explained the correlation between narrative spaces and dramatic immersion, by analyzing spaces appearing in and visualized construction. It is hoped that this will further extends the pattern of researches on dramatic immersion, which have been primarily focused on plots and characters.

In today and near future, most of the commercially manufactured IT products will be evolved into software convergence product. Recently, the embedded software products is called as 'Software Convergence Products.' This phenomenon does not simply show the trendy fashion, but has the seriously implication that the functionalities of IT product is accomplished and evolved via software technology, not via mechanical nor electrical means. It will become true that the quality of the convergence product is dominantly governed by the software it uses. Meanwhile, we are facing with the threatening fact that software defects in the mass products will requires tremendous amounts of cost proportional to the quantity of the product. We can remind ourselves of the disasters that have been already happened, such as Automotive recalls, Smart-phone recalls, and others. In software engineering, there have been large amount of work done in software quality improvement for the past couple of decades. Software process improvement, and testings are the representative ones. But we are facing with limitations of those traditional approaches in current convergence industry; exponentially increasing software sizes and rapid changes in software technology. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of the software convergence industry, the limitations of the traditional Software quality improvement approaches. We suggest a new approaches in software quality improvement in different angles of thought and philosophy.

Animation creates meaning and affection by combinig image and sound like film. directed by Yuri Norstein is a good text for analyzing animation sound in that it combines image and various music and sound effects well. This study focuses on analyzing the way that sound function to make meaning in this text. Generally sound is categorized into dialogue, music, and sound effect. And animation has its own characteristic in each category. The voice for dialogue is created corresponding to the image of the character and the rhythm is very important in Animation. Plus Sound effect in animation can be said to mimic not just sound but also movement. This study analyzes sound based on three sound factors and the concepts of the point of listening, subjective sound, and sound bridge. Subjective sound using the point of listening of the wolf and the baby bestows a special position on the main characters in the text. It is the overall characteristic of the sound use of this text that the repetitive combination of sound and image, the linguistic and annotative function of sound effect, and comparatively conventional use of music and sound effect enhance the affection and readability.

세계는 지식정보의 창출 및 활용정도가 국가경쟁력을 좌우하는 지식기반사회로 급격히 전환하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 주요 지식정보의 집중적인 디지털화를 통해서 국가 지식정보 공유체계를 구축하는 것이 무엇보다 시급한 상황이다. 특히 급격하게 성장하고 있는 디지털 콘텐츠 분야의 체계적인 정보화 사업은 관련 분야의 선진국과 경쟁하기 위해서 절실하게 요구된다. 본 논문은 게임산업에 대한 체계적인 정보화를 추진하기 위해서 의미를 기반으로 한 게임전문용어전자사전 구축을 위한 연구 결과를 소개한다. 의미를 기반으로 한 게임전문용어전자사전 구축하기 위해서 다양한 형태의 게임 관련 자료를 통해서 망뭉치를 추출하였다. 추출한 망뭉치로부터 빈도수 등을 이용해서 중요한 의미를 갖는 표제어를 추출하였으며, 추출한 표제어를 이용해서 게임전문용어 시소러스를 구축하였다. 또한 웹 기반으로 게임전문용어전자사전을 구축하기 위해서 SDML 을 이용하여 전문용어를 표기했으며 다양한 검색 기능을 추가해서 게임전문용어전자사전의 프로토타입 시스템을 구축하였다.

망 운용에 있어서 망 관리 시스템은 다양한 네트워크 장비의 증가로 인하여 점점 더 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 과거 망을 구성하는 요소는 네트워크 장비로 국한되었지만 현재는 서비스를 지원하는 데몬(Daemon) 등 장비 외적인 요소까지 속하게 되어 더욱 복잡해 지고 있다. 기존의 망 관리 시스템은 SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)나ICMP(Internet Control Message Protocol) 프로토콜을 사용하였으나 이 기술만으로는 데몬과 같은 장비 외적인 요소들까지 제어, 관리하지 못했다. 반면. TELNET등과 같은 기능을 추가적으로 이용할 수 있다면. 보다 쉽게 망 정보를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있어 기존의 망 관리 시스템에서 지원하지 못했던 기능의 한계점을 극복할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 객체지향기술(OOT : Object­Oriented Technology)을 도입하였다. 클래스(Class)는 고유한 특성을 가지는 관리 대상 종류를 선언한 것이고. 관리 대상은 네트워크 장비 뿐만 아니라 데몬이나 지역, 부서등과 같은 추상적인 대상이 포함되며 이는 객체(Object)를 의미한다. 또한. 상속(Inheritance) 개념을 도입하여 중복요소를 없앴으며, 클래스의 메소드(Method)에 관리 대상을 처리할 수 있는 기능을 정의하였다. 기능 정의에는 SNMP와 TELNET. ICMP등을 내부적으로 이용하여 구현된 스크립트(Script)를 이용하였다.

본고는 서술성 명사의 실현 양상을 말뭉치를 통해 살펴보고 실제로 서술성 명사의 서술성이 나타나는 정도를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 우선 서술성 명사의 서술성을 측정하기 위해 서술성 명사의 술어적 쓰임과 비술어적 쓰임을 구분하였는데, 이를 토대로 서술성 명사의 빈도와 서술성, 서술성 명사의 논항구조와 서술성, 서술성 명사가 가지는 구체물의 의미와 서술성의 관계를 살펴보았다. 한편 서술성 명사와 동사의 공기 양상에 대해서도 살펴보았는데, 우선 서술성 명사와 공기하는 동사들 가운데 기능동사와 일반 동사의 사용 비율을 살핀 다음, 서술성과 기능동사 결합률, 기능동사의 어절별 분포, 기능동사별 구성 비율을 구하였다.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of meaning centered and mindfulness-based stress management program with using marine resources on positive changes in mood, sleep, quality of life and cognitive function. Methods : Nine family caregivers of patients with severe disability experienced meaning centered and mindfulness-based stress management program for four-days in marine areas near Uljin-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do in South Korea. Subjective questionnaires and objective assessments were conducted and statistically analyzed to examine changes in mood, sleep, quality of life, and cognitive function before, after, and after 6 weeks of participation. Results : After participating in the program, moods including depression improved significantly. This effect lasted until 6 weeks. Participants' sleep quality, quality of life and cognitive function improved significantly after 6 weeks of program participation. Conclusions : This new specialized stress management program using marine resources for family caregivers of patients with severe disability is expected to be used effectively in terms of improving their overall quality of life, mental health status and cognitive efficiency.

본 연구에서는 여성복지정책 개념이 갖는 지향성에 따라 노무현 정부 여성복지정책과 김대중 정부 여성복지정책을 비교함으로써 노무현 정부 여성복지정책의 성격 규명을 시도하였다. 부녀복지정책에서 여성복지정책으로 개념이 진일보한 1990년대 이후 여성복지정책은 일반 여성을 대상으로 한 정책이라는 막연한 이미지 전달을 시도하였다. 그러나 이같은 여성복지정책 개념은 여성복지정책이 추구하는 사회적 기능의 회복, 인간다운 삶 등이 무엇을 의미하는지 추상적인 나열을 하는 데 그침으로써 성차별 문제를 희석시키는 한계를 보인다. 따라서 김대중 정부 이후 대중적 차원에서 자리매김을 확고히해 가고 있는 여성복지정책의 성격이 좁은 의미에서 복지 문제와 넓은 의미에서 성차별 문제 중 어느쪽에 비중을 두면서 변화해 가고 있는지 혹은 변화해 가야 하는지 등에 대만 분석과 전망을 제대로 제시할 수 없는 제한점을 갖는다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사회복지정책의 한 영역으로서 '여성복지'를 보는 여성복지정책과 '여성정책'의 한 영역으로서 '여성복지'를 보는 여성복지정책의 차원에서 김대중 정부와 노무현 정부 여성복지정책에 대한 논의를 전개하였다. 김대중 정부 출범 이후 여성복지정책의 변화 양상은 어떠한가? 여성복지정책과 여성복지정책 중 어떤 차원으로의 변화가 두드러진다고 볼 수 있나? 김대중 정부 여성복지정책 기조가 노무현 정부에서 계승되는 양상은 어떠한가? 노무현 정부 여성복지정책 기조는 여성복지정책과 여성복지정책 중 어느 것이 될 것인가? 김대중 정부 출범 이후 사회보험을 중심으로 일어난 변화는 여성복지정책이 전통적인 부녀복지정책 개념에서 탈피하는 양상을 잘 보여주고 있다고 알 수 있다. 또한 여성의 소득 수준 향상 등 여성복지정책적 측면에서 변화를 관찰할 수 있다. 그러나 여성복지정책적 성격을 드러낼 만큼 여성복지정책이 성차별 문제 해소에 중점을 두었다고 보기는 어렵다. 게다가 공공부조에서는 성차별 문제나 복지 문제 중 어느 것에 초점을 둔 정책 방향의 일관성을 발견하기 힘들다. 대통령 공약 사항을 중심으로 살펴본 노무현 정부 여성복지정책은 사회보험 대상자 확대라는 측면에서 여성복지정책적 차원의 단초를 보이고 있으니, 정색 기조는 김대중 정부의 여성복지정책 흐름을 계승하고 있다. 그러나 노무현 정부 출범 이후 관찰할 수 있는 정색 환경의 변화로서 여성부 기능 강화와 급격한 인구학적 변동을 고려할 때 정책 추진 주체 변화를 전제로 한 여성복지정책 강화를 예측해 볼 수 있다.

최근 인터넷의 발달에 따라 XML 문서의 사용과 각종 영상정보의 양이 크게 증가되었다. 이에 따라 XML 문서를 관리하기 위한 XML 데이터베이스의 필요성과 메타데이터 표준화에 대한 중요성이 증가되고 있다. XML 데이터베이스는 XML 문서의 특성을 고려하여 그 특성을 효율적으로 지원할 수 있다. 또한 국내에서는 교육정보분야 메타데이터 표준인 KEM 2.0이 제정 되었고 국외에서는 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 표준으로 MPEG-7이 제정이 되었다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 MPEG-7을 기반으로 KEM 2.0을 이용한 영상정보 XML 스키마를 생성하고 이를 이용한 영상정보 검색시스템을 XML 데이터베이스 기반으로 설계하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 설계하는 XML 데이터베이스 기반의 영상정보 검색시스템은 XML 문서에 대한 빠른 저장과 검색이 가능할 것이다. 또한 검색 기능에 있어서는 키워드 기반의 의미기반 검색과 유사 이미지를 통한 내용기반 검색, 그리고 이를 내용기반과 의미기반을 통합한 검색 기능을 제공할 것이며 XML 문서에 대한 강력한 질의 수단인 XQuery 질의를 포함하게 될 것이다.
