Framework & Functions of Configuration Management (CM) in Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) (원자력발전소 형상관리 적용을 위한 Framework 및 생애주기단계별, 관리기법별 기능리스트 도출)

  • In the 1950s, the concept of configuration management (CM) was started by the US Department of Defense (DOD). Later, it has begun to be applied in aerospace, software, engineering, construction, and nuclear power industry. However, configuration management (CM) in the Korean nuclear industry was firstly utilized in 2006 only for selected parts of facilities, while the US nuclear industry has applied CM for the facilities' entire systems since 1990s. Furthermore, configuration management (CM) is in its conceptual stage in the Korean nuclear industry because of ambiguous CM concepts, lacks of CM professional manpower, non-computerization, and inadequacy of CM procedures and processes. In order to address this issues, seven industries (including defense, aerospace, software, engineering, architecture, civil engineering, nuclear power) that utilize the concept of configuration management (CM) were compared and analyzed based on the CM purpose, technique, and life-cycle perspectives. By an extensive literature review and expert interviews, this paper developed a framework of configuration management (CM) for the nuclear industry. And also, a list of functions based on life-cycle stages and CM techniques are developed for clarifying CM framework in order to promote practical applications.

  • 실시간 교통정보 처리과정은 현장설비로부터 수집되는 각종 교통상황자료를 분석/처리하여 소통상황, 주행속도, 통행시간 등의 교통상황을 단기 예측하는 과정으로서 이는 주행안내시스템의 핵심요소기술이다. 주행안내 시스템 개발의 필요성은 선진국을 중심으로 제기되어 왔으며, 주행안내시스템은 각국 정부의 강력한 지원정책을 바탕으로 연구개발 단계를 거쳐 시범운영의 단계에 있다. 국내에서도 교통정체의 해소와 안전주행의 연구개발 단계를 거쳐 시범운영의 단계에 있다. 국내에서도 교통정체의 해소와 안전주행의 여건마련을 위하여 교통정보를·처리·제공하는 기술의 개발이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나 국내 기술수준을 보면 전자통신기술을 바탕으로 교통정보의 수집과 제공에 관한 연구는 어느 정도 진행되고 있으나 운전자가 필요로 하는 교통정보의 분석과 처리에 관한 연구는 매우 저조한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 다양한 시스템에서 수집되는 자료를 종합적으로 처리, 저장,관리하고 이의 분석결과를 제공하는 교통정보센터의 프로토타입(Prototype)을 설정하는 것이다. 이러한 목표를 수행하기 위해서 요구되는 교통정보실험실의 기능은 수집된 교통자료의 신뢰성 분석, 교통정보의 종합적인 처리·저장·관리, 그리고 교통정보의 제공은 구분할 수 있다. 따라서, 현재 교통정보실험실에서 운영중인 정보의 형태를 제시하며, 이들 정보의 신뢰성을 실측자료와 비교한 실험적 결과를 예시한다. 또한, 개별 정보이용자에게 실시간 교통정보를 제공하기 위한 통신기술의 검토가 이루어진다. 차내 이용자에게 정보를 실시간으로 제공하기 위해서는 궁극적으로 무선통신기술의 응용이 필요하며, 정보이용자에게 다양한 정보를 제공하기 위해서 인터넷 통신과 연계시키는 것이 합리적으로 판단된다. 결론 부분에서는 교통정보실험실의 기능을 강화시키기 위한 향후의 연구과제를 제시한다.Si결정의 크기를 비교하였을 때 45$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 분말을 섞어 압출하였을 때 가장 작은 초정 Si입자 크기를 얻음 을 볼 수 있었다. 주의 Fairfax County에 소재한 주간 고속도로 66번(I-66)과 인접 교통망의 교통자료를 사용하여 각종 돌발교통 혼잡 상황을 전제로 한 Traffic Simulation과 정보제공시나\리오를 INTEGRATION Model을 이용해 실행하였다. 그 결과 적응형 알고리즘이 개개인의 최단시간 경로를 제공하는 사용자 평형 경로안내전략에 비해 교통혼잡도와 정체시간의 체류정도에 따라 3%에서 10%까지 전체통행시간을 절약할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.출발참, 구성대외개방선면축심, 실현국제항선적함접화국내항반적전항, 형성다축심복사식항선망; 가강기장건설, 개피포동제이국제기장건설, 괄응포동개발경제발전적수요. 부화개시일은 각 5월 26일과 5월 22일이었다. 11. 6월 중순에 애벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다.. Evaluation of CM Capability based on Business Functions for International Plant Construction (해외 플랜트 건설사업관리 업무기능별 역량분석)

  • Ever expanding overseas construction is one of the most important issues for Korean construction companies. Among these issues, strategies for overseas plant construction have widely been discussed, because the plant construction has features of low competitiveness and high ripple effects when compared with other construction sectors. In this sense, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the CM capability of Korean construction industry for overseas plant construction. Fourteen construction business functions and four techniques were defined first. Based on these functions and techniques, CM capability was quantified for As-Is (2013), To-Be (2018) and Gap analyses. Findings of this research reveal that 1) capability for construction is quite competent, 2) capabilities for planning, design management, contracting, and risk management are found to be relatively low, where higher value can be added. In addition, it is found that R&D needs to be extended to develop systemized management techniques. It is also required to secure specialists and original technologies at national industrial level.

  • Ensuring the safety of automobiles and trains during system operation is regarded as indispensable due to the progress in unmanned operation. The automotive functional safety standard, ISO 26262, has been proposed to ensure the safe design of vehicles. This standard describes in detail the required risk analysis and evaluation procedure and safety measures, while appropriately reflecting the system design information. Therefore, much research has been done on the risk analysis procedure, wherein the design information is mostly extracted from physical components of similar systems already in operation, the information traced back to obtain constituent functions, and then methods of identifying risk sources are studied. This method allows the sources of risk to be identified quickly and easily, however if the design requirements are changed or systems are newly developed, others may be introduced which are not accounted for, thereby yielding mismatched design information. To resolve this problem, we propose a top-down analysis in order to utilize the system design information appropriately. Specifically, a conceptual system is designed to obtain the functions, which are then analyzed. Then, a function-based fault tree analysis is conducted, followed by a risk source analysis. In this paper, a case study of automotive safety is presented, revealing that the proposed method can analyze the risk sources with reduced possibility of omission by systematically reflecting the system design information.

  • Biological networks have been handled with the static concept. However, life phenomena in cells occur depending on the cellular state and the external environment, and only a few proteins and their interactions are selectively activated. Therefore, we should adopt the dynamic network concept that the structure of a biological network varies along the flow of time. This concept is effective to analyze the progressive transition of the disease. In this paper, we applied the proposed method to Alzheimer's disease to analyze the structural and functional characteristics of the disease network. Using gene expression data and protein-protein interaction data, we constructed the sub-networks in accordance with the progress of disease (normal, early, middle and late). Based on this, we analyzed structural properties of the network. Furthermore, we found module structures in the network to analyze the functional properties of the sub-networks using the gene ontology analysis (GO). As a result, it was shown that the functional characteristics of the dynamics network is well compatible with the stage of the disease which shows that it can be used to describe important biological events of the disease. Via the proposed approach, it is possible to observe the molecular network change involved in the disease progression which is not generally investigated, and to understand the pathogenesis and progression mechanism of the disease at a molecular level.

  • 본(本) 논문(論文)은 졸고(拙稿)(1989)에 이어 정부규제(政府規制)의 폐해가 특히 심각한 방송광고산업(放送廣告産業)에 초점을 두고 한국방송광고공사(韓國放送廣告公社)(KOBACO)라는 규제기구(規制機構)가 중심이 된 각종 규제(規制)의 쟁점(爭點)을 분석한 결과, 대부분의 규제(規制)가 폐지 혹은 완화되어 방송광고(放送廣告)의 시장기능(市場機能)이 활성화(活性化)되어야 함을 주장하고 있다. 조속(早速)한 시일내(時日內)에 규제개선(規制改善)이 필요한 정책과제(政策課題)는 방송광고시간규제(放送廣告時間規制)의 단계적 완화, 토막광고규제(廣告規制)의 단순화, 중간광고(中間廣告)의 허용, CATV 등 신규방송매체(新規放送媒體)의 확충, 규제요금(規制料金)의 단계적 인상, 매체별(媒體別) 시급구분(時級區分)의 자율성 확대를 통한 요금체계(料金體系)의 합리화, "rotation time"제(制) 도입, KOBACO의 수탁수수료(受託手數料) 폐지, 민간대행수수료(民間代行手數料)의 인상, 계열(系列) 비계열(非系列)의 수수료차별화(手數料差別化) 폐지, 복수대행(複數代行)자유화, 한국언론회관(韓國言論會館)의 정부광고독점대행권(政府廣告獨占代行權) 폐지, 방송광고사전심의제(放送廣告事前審議制) 폐지, 매체(媒體)의 대행사(代行社) 소유(所有) 지배(支配) 경영(經營) 차단 등이다. 한편 시청률조사(視聽率調査), ABC 등의 조기정착과 광고산업에 대한 공정거래법(公正去來法)의 적용 등은 시장기능(市場機能)의 전제(前提)가 되는 정책과제로서 제시되었다. 또한 KOBACO 독점대행권(獨占代行權)의 완전폐지, 방송광고요금(放送廣告料金)의 완전자율화, 시간규제(時間規制)의 추가적 완화 등은 이러한 규제개선을 완결시키는 과제로서 제시되었다. 본(本) 논문(論文)은 이러한 정책과제가 효율적으로 추진되려면 경제행정규제완화위원회(經濟行政規制緩和委員會)와 공정거래위원회(公正去來委員會)가 중심기구가 되어야 함을 강조하였다. 규제기능이 사라진 KOBACO의 위상변화는 본(本) 논문(論文)이 고려하지 않았던 지출기능(支出機能)의 평가에 따라 결정될 것이지만, 규제폐지에 관한 한 그 존재의의는 사라진다.

  • Serious games allow learners to experience situations that are impossible in the real world for various purposes. To date the major applications of serious games include military, government, education, corporate and healthcare applications. This paper aims to provide an overview of the applications of serious games for various health-related purposes, particularly for Health and Medicine education, health risk prevention, behavioral intervention, and disease self-management. These games identified numerous papers reporting empirical evidence about the impacts and outcomes. There is potential promise for serious games to improve health outcomes. We discuss implications of using serious games for health-related purposes and future direction for research in this area.

  • This research made a survey to 119 EMT laying stress on general contents connected with job in a frame of mutually organic cooperation system between the processes, composing Emergency Medical Care Transportation Policy in Korea, as a step before hospital, of happening emergency patients, 119 first-aid service of the spot, transportation of patients, construction of communication network etc.. As a result of analysis to that, it is found that there must be systematic devices which makes EMT not to be caught on medical dispute, a modernization of emergency equipments, professional first-aid agents, a proper personnel arrangement. Consequently, it suggests policy plan focusing on structural and functional aspect to improve an Emergency Medical Care Transportation system into a realistic one.

  • This paper compares four models to value a biotechnology R&D project; option tree model, dynamic discounted cash flow(DCF) model, and option thinking DCF model with general DCF model. Real Options, especially 6-folded option tree model yields boner estimate of value than values using other methods. According to sensitivity analysis, sales of final products, number of investigational new drug developments(INDs) and success rates of each stage are key factors for the value of biotechnology R&D investment.

  • In this paper we propose a reversible image coding methods with progressive build-up function by bit-plane of multi-lavel image. Firstly, the differencial conversion is applied to reduce the entropy of source images. Then the bit-plane sequences of converted images are coded by means of the newly designed VFRL(Variable to Fixed Run-Llength) code and the RDHC(Run-length Dynamic Huffman Coding). We aim to the simple construction to reduce the complexity. The computer simulated results show that the proposed methods are very effective to the multi-level digital images. For "GIRL" and "COUPLE" of 1EEE monochromatic standard images, the compressibility are superior to the results obtained by the well-known universal codes.own universal codes.
