This study was conducted to investigate photosynthetic response to four sequential air influx rate with rice(Oryza sativa L.)plants moved from a natural condition to constant condition with automatic regulation selected environmental variables on 13th~15th days after anthesis. In time course of photosynthetic response to increasing air influx rate(200-280-360-440 ml / min.), stomatal conductance decreased rapidly at the beginning after treatment and then oscillated with a free-running period of a approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes until reached up to steady-state condition. Similar change was also observed $CO_2$ assimilation rate. Stomatal conductance decreased throughout the air influx rate sequence, but the rate of decrease was similar to the decrease in $CO_2$ assimilation rate observed under continuous air influx rate conditions. In starch granules during grain filling period under air influx rate(440 ml / min.) , compound starch granules were loosing and a number of hollows were observed in surface of single starch granules. Evidences from several approaches indicate that synchronization of stomatal conductance and$CO_2$ assimilation rate was closely inter-related tinder increase of air influx rate and increase of air influx rate influenced the$CO_2$ uptake in photosynthetic processes and compound starch granule, as 'end products' of photosynthesis.

The recycling technology of carbon residue produced from the process of oil recovery in waste tire pyrolysis is significant in environmental and economical aspects. This study was done to figure out the recycling possibility of carbon residue to activated carbon. For this, the characteristics of the carbon residue obtained from the commercial pyrolysis process of waste tire were studied. Also, the variation of pore structure of carbon residue was studied after 1 hour of carbonization at $600^{\circ}C$ and $800^{\circ}C$ and 3 hours of activation at $950^{\circ}C$. The specific surface area of the carbon residue was $8.0m^2/g$ and it increased to $548.3m^2/g$ after carbonization and activation.

Catalytic cracking of n-octane was carried out over H-ZSM-5 zeolite catalysts after calcination with air and steaming with 100% steam in the temperature range of $550-750^{\circ}C$ for 24 h and compared with the results of thermal cracking. The increase of calcination and steaming temperature resulted in the decrease of surface area, pore volume, and strong acid sites, which was mainly caused by the dealumination of H-ZSM-5 framework. It was found by $^{27}Al$ and $^{29}Si$ MAS NMR that the dealumination was proceeded through the transformation process of tetrahedral framework Al${\rightarrow}$penta-cordinated Al ${\rightarrow}$ octahedral framework Al and the phenomena was much more severe in steaming conditions than that of calcination. In the catalytic cracking of n-octane, as the temperatures of calcination and steaming were increased, the conversion of n-octane, the selectivity of light olefins and ethylene to propylene ratio were decreased due to the dealumination of framework aluminum resulting the loss of acidic strengths. The conversion, selectivity of light olefins and ethylene to propylene ratio reached almost to the level of thermal cracking after steaming at $750^{\circ}C$ for 24 h.

We have investigated plasma spray coated $Al_2O_3$ layers on Al-60 series substrates for development of wafer electrostatic chuck in semiconductor dry etching system. Samples were prepared without/with cooling bar on backside of samples, at various distances, and with different powder feed rates. There were many cracks and pores in the $Al_2O_3$ layers coated on Al-60 series substrates without cooling bar on the backside of samples. But the cracks and pores were almost disappeared in the $Al_2O_3$ layers on Al-60 series substrates coated with cooling bar on the back side of samples, 15 g/min. powder feed rate and various 60, 70, 80 mm working distances. Then the surface morphology was not changed with various working distances of 60, 70, 80 mm. When the powder feed rate was changed from 15 g/min to 20 g/min, the crack did not appear, but few pores appeared. Also the $Al_2O_3$ layer was coated with many small splats compared with $Al_2O_3$ layer coated with 15 g/min powder feed rate. The deposited rate of $Al_2O_3$ layer was higher when the process was done without cooling bar on the back side of sample than that with cooling bar on the back side of sample.

Methods: A self-administered survey was conducted for a total of 150 dental technologists. A chi-squared test and independent-samples t-test was carried out by using SPSS WIN Program (version 12.0) in order to analyze the actual condition of safety education according to work experience and position and whether injury occurred according to whether to wear protective equipment. Significance level was 0.05. Results: With regard to whether injury occurred according to whether safety education was received, there was 'receiving the safety education-injured (71.8%)', 'not receiving the safety education-injured (79.7%)', 'receiving the safety education-not injured (28.2%)', and 'not receiving the safety education-not injured (20.3%)'. The statistical results of injury occurrence according to safety education were not significant. With regard to whether to be injured according work experience, there was 'less than 10 years-injured (68.4%)', 'less than 10 years- not injured (31.6%)', '10 years or above-injured (89.1%)', and '10 years or above-not injured (10.9%)'. The statistical results of injury occurrence according to work experience were significant (p<0.001). Conclusion: Dental lab and specialized agencies should continue to be interested in periodic safety training, recommending wearing protective equipment and personal protective equipment support and so on.
In order to investigate the effect of two type of ceramic film(15% SiO$_2$ incorporated LDPE, 10% zeolite incorporated LDPE), perforated film and LDPE film on freshness of shiitake mushroom, weight loss, surface color and marketability of mushroom were measured during MA storage at 5 $\^{C}$ and 20$\^{C}$. The effect of packaging films on weight loss and marketability index of shiitake mushroom at 20$\^{C}$ was negligible due to its rapid physiological changes. However, the effect of packaging films on surface color of shiitake mushroom was significant at 20$\^{C}$ storage, but not at 5$\^{C}$ storage. During MA storage of shiitake mushroon, discoloration were reduced effectively by ceramic films and weight loss were by LDPE film, but they had little difference between packaging 51ms. However, there were significant differences among the packaging films in marketability of mushroom induced by water vapor inside package and accelerate its spoilage and browning. Ceramic film(15% SiO$_2$ incorporated LDPE) showed best result to maintain marketability of shiitake mushroom and zeolite incorporated film, perforated film, LDPE film in order.

Fog causes economic losses in transportation. It also results in health problems when it is combined with air pollutants. Considerable research efforts have focused on developing fog removal systems. However, most systems operate themselves after monitoring the fog. Additionally, continuous energy supply and maintenance are required to retain the fog-removal efficiency of the system. This study included the demonstration of a moss filter (a polyolefin mesh interlaced with moss) as a fog-removal method overcoming the limitations of the fog removal system. Three types of mosses with different surface structures were investigated to elucidate the relation between the moisture absorption rate and the structures. Among the different moss types, Hypopterygium japinicum showed the highest efficiency based on the smallest pore diameter and the largest total pore area. The visibilities with the moss filter and the polyolefin mesh were compared to perform the fog removal tests. The moss filter could provide a cost-effective and eco-friendly fog removal system with sustainability.
The streaming potential generated by the electrokinetic flow within electric double layer of charged microchannel is applied to determine the zeta potential of hollow-fiber membrane pore by using the general Helmholtz-Smoluchowski equation. The streaming potential is know to provide a useful real-time information on the surface property and the interaction between pore and particles in actual situations and physicochemical conditions. The influence of physicochemical parameters upon the filtration with hollow-fibers has been examined with an in-situ and simultaneously monitoring the streaming potential as well as permeate flux. In particular, the present study examined an experimental method to identify the effect of cake layer which can vary according to the axial position of a hollow-fiber and the progress of membrane fouling by measuring the position-dependent streaming potential. As the latex concentration increases, the permeate flux decreased but the streaming potential increased. The growth of cake layer has been mire developed with increasing latex concentration, however, the effect of surface charges of latexes deposited on the membrane surface leads to increase the streaming potential. With increasing ionic concentration of KCI, both the permeate flux and the streaming potential decrease. The increase of ionic concentration provides a compact cake layer due to the shrinkage of Debye length and the decreased streaming potential results from the weakened ionic flows owing to a thin diffusive double layer.

Interim immediate denture is fabricated to minimize the period of edentulousness after removal of the patient's remaining teeth and before delivery of final prosthesis. In the case of using the CAD/CAM system, there is an advantage in that the manufacturing process in the clinic and laboratory can be simplified by overcoming some of the limitations of manufacturing interim immediate dentures in the traditional way. However, there are also disadvantages in that errors occur in the process of transmitting information about the patient's intermaxillary relationship to the digital network of the laboratory, resulting in unstable occlusal relationships or non-esthetic prostheses. To overcome this problem, using the simple and accurate POP BOW system's occlusal plane digital transfer method, it was possible to fabricate an esthetic and functional 3D printed interim immediate denture after removal of the remaining upper and lower anterior teeth.
In this study, the raw material and tempers of bricks used in three brick tombs built in Gongju, during the Ungjin period of Baekje were investigated. The royal tomb of King Muryeong, the 6th tomb in the royal tombs, and Kyochonri brick tomb remained in Gongju and the bricks of each site had different shape and physical properties despite their similarity in raw materials. As the results of the mineralogical and microstructural analysis, the bricks of the royal tombs were made of refined raw materials, and were infrequently added crushed bricks(grogs) as a tempering material. On the other hand, thick and elongated pores of bricks from the Kyochonri brick tomb were frequently found, and the remains of plant carbonization are observed in their microstructures. Since the pores are mainly distributed in a thickness of 0.3 to 1 mm, it is estimated that bricks were produced by adding a certain size of the plant to refined soil, and grogs also were added as a tempering material. In particular, it was found that adding plants and grogs in raw materials of bricks caused thick pores or cracks in the internal structure. Since the bricks of the Kyochonri brick tomb have internal cracks and low firing temperature, the ultrasonic velocity of the bricks was lower than that of the royal tomb bricks. It means that the mechanical strength of these bricks were relatively low. Accordingly, it is estimated that the tempering materials, firing temperature, and internal structures of bricks can affect durability of the brick, and it can be thought as a difference in the manufacturing technology of brick making.
