  • 블루투스(Bluetooth)는 일반적으로 10m 안팍의 휴대폰, 노트북 등의 휴대기기를 서로 연결해 정보를 교환하는 근거리 무선 기술 표준이다. 이 표준 기술은 이어폰이나 기기간의 페어링을 통하여 정보를 공유하기위한 단일 서비스 제품으로 자주 사용되기도 하며, 스마프폰에서는 이 표준 기술을 제어하여 명함이나 개인의 사진, 동영상 그리고 문서파일등을 공유하기 위한 방식으로 활용되기도 한다. 하지만 가장 큰 문제는 Bluetooth 를 응용하여 기기간의 페어링을 진행하는 절차가 일반적 사용자에게는 너무 복잡하고, 기술적인 처리 방식을 요구함으로써 대중화된 서비스를 지원하기에는 부족한 점이 많다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 Bluetooth 환경하에서 사용자에게 직접적인 파일 전송을 지원하기 위해 서비스 서버에서 각 단말의 정보를 통합 수신하고, 이를 각 단말에 전달하여 각 단말이 자동적으로 Bluetooth 연결을 구성하고 서비스는 이를 활용하여 Direct 하게 파일을 송수신하는 간결화된 근거리 기반의 통신 연결 서비스 구성 방식을 제안하고 이를 증명하고자 한다.

The Influence of Accommodation on Watching Home 3D TV at Close Distance (가정용 3D TV의 근거리 시청이 조절기능에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was investigated weather watching 2D and 3D images effecting on accommodative function (AF), and differences between changes of AF by 2D and 3D. Methods: 50 subjects (male 30, female 20) aged 20's to 40's years old ($22.9{\pm}3.93$ years) who are available to watching 3D images were participated for this study. Accommodative amplitude (AA) by near point of accommodation (NPA), accommodative response (AR), positive and negative relative accommodation (PRA, NRA), accommodative facility (AF) were measured before, after watching 2D and 3D images at 1 m distance for 30 minutes respectively. Results: Accommodative amplitude after both watching 2D and 3D images decreased comparing to before watching images, and AA after watching 3D images was significantly lower than after watching 2D images. AR after both watching 2D and 3D images increased comparing to before watching images, but there was no difference between 2D and 3D. PRA and NRA were not significantly different between before, after watching 2D and 3D images. Accommodation speed by AF was increased for before watching ($13.52{\pm}3.32$ cpm) following by for after watching 2D images ($14.28{\pm}3.21$ cpm) and for watching 3D images ($14.90{\pm}3.27$ cpm). Conclusions: Watching images at close distance is effect to accommodation functions, and sequence of AA decrease of before watching images following by after watching 2D images and after watching 3D images may effect to asthenopia with same sequence as AA decrease. The results of increase of AF after watching images, specially 3D images show a possibility of vision therapy and further detail VT studies using 3D images are required in the future.

A Study on the Integrated System Implementation of Close Range Digital Photogrammetry Procedures (근거리 수치사진측량 과정의 단일 통합환경 구축에 관한 연구)

  • For the close range digital photogrammetry, multi-step procedures should be embodied in an integrated system. However, it is hard to construct an Integrated system through conventional procedural processing. Using Object Oriented Programming(OOP), photogrammetric processings can be classified with corresponding subjects and it is easy to construct an integrated system lot digital photogrammetry as well as to add the newly developed classes. In this study, the equation of 3-dimensional mathematic model is developed to make an immediate calibration of the CCD camera, the focus distance of which varies according to the distance of the object. Classes for the input and output of images are also generated to carry out the close range digital photogrammetric procedures by OOP. Image matching, coordinate transformation, dirct linear transformation and bundle adjustment are performed by producing classes corresponding to each part of data processing. The bundle adjustment, which adds the principle coordinate and focal length term to the non-photogrammetric CCD camera, is found to increase usability of the CCD camera and the accuracy of object positioning. In conclusion, classes and their hierarchies in the digital photogrammetry are designed to manage multi-step procedures using OOP and close range digital photogrammetric process is implemented using CCD camera in an integrated System.

Change of Phoria and Subjective Symptoms after Watching 2D and 3D Image (2D와 3D 영상 시청 후 나타난 사위도 및 자각증상의 변화)

  • Purpose: The changes of phoria and subjective asthenopia before and after viewing were compared based on 2D image and two ways of 3D images, and presented for references of 3D image watching and production. Methods: Change in phoria was measured before and after watching 2D image, 3D-FPR and 3D-SG images for 30 minutes with a target of 41 university students at 20-30 years old (male 26, female 15). Paired t-test and Pearson correlation between changed phoria and subjective symptoms which were measured using questionnaires were evaluated by before and after watching each images. Results: Right after watching 2D image, exophoria was increased by 0.5 $\Delta$, in distance and near, but it was not a significant level. Right after watching 3D image, exophoria was increased by 1.0~1.5 $\Delta$, and 1.5~2.0 $\Delta$, in distance and near, respectively when compared with before watching. In the significant level, exophoria tended to increase. Changes in near was increased more by 0.5 $\Delta$, compared with those in distance. Changes based on way of 3D-FPR and 3D-SG image were less than 0.5 $\Delta$, and there was almost no difference. In terms of visual subjective symptoms, eye strain was increased in 3D image compared with that in 2D image. In addition, there was no difference depending on way of image. In terms of Pearson correlation between phoria change and eye strain, as exophoria was increased, eye strain was increased. Conclusions: Watching 3D image increased eye strain compared with watching 2D image, and accordingly exophoria tended to increase.

A panorama algorithm for close foreground objects (근거리 전경 물체를 위한 파노라마 알고리듬)

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티뷰 환경에서 촬영된 영상을 이용하여 카메라와 가까이 위치한 전경 물체를 중심으로 뷰가 확장된 영상을 생성하는 파노라마 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 먼저 전경 물체는 사용자가 선택한 중심 물체를 기준으로 하여 평행 이동 관계로 전경 파노라마를 생성 한다. 배경은 특징점 기반의 파노라마 기법을 이용하여 초기 결과를 얻고, 멀티뷰 영상의 시차에 기인한 가려진(occluded) 영역을 제한 영역으로 설정한 후 최적화 과정을 이용하여 시각적으로 자연스러운 배경 파노라마를 얻는다. 마지막으로 배경 파노라마와 전경 파노라마와 크기를 동일하게 하고 배경 파노라마와 전경 파노라마를 합성하여 결과 파노라마를 구성한다. 모의 실험결과 제안 알고리듬은 원본 영상의 전경 물체들을 모두 포함하면서도 배경 부분은 시각적으로 자연스러운 파노라마 결과를 도출함을 확인하였다.

Comparison of Accommodative Function of Young Adults in their Twenties Wearing Monovision, Modified Monovision and Multifocal Soft Contact Lenses (모노비전, 변형된 모노비전, 멀티포컬 콘택트렌즈로 교정 시 20대 성인의 조절기능 비교)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the accommodative function of young adult in their 20s wearing monovision, modified monovision, and aspheric multifocal contact lenses at near task. Methods: Thirty young adults ($23.53{\pm}2.37years$) were fitted with monovision, modified monovision (the application of single vision contact lenses and center-near low addition aspheric multifocal contact lenses), and aspheric center-near multifocal contact lenses. After wearing these modalities during a week for adaption, and after watching visual display at computer for inducing accommodative pressure for 1 hour. The following assessments of accommodative function were made: contrast visual acuity (VA) at distance and near; accommodative response; near accommodative facility; and negative relative accommodation (NRA)/positive relative accommodation (PRA). All measurements were carried out binocularly. Results: In binocular distance VA with contrast of 10%, monovision was the worst among the four modalities (p=0.005). In accommodative response at 1 m (1.00 D), monovision was the lowest (p<0.05) and accommodative response at 40 cm (2.50 D) with monovision was lower than that of modified monovision and multifocal contact lens (p<0.05). We also found that there were no significant differences in accommodative facility and NRA/PRA among the four modalities. Conclusions: In young adult (20s), monovision with low add reduced the accommodative response at near task, however, modified monovision and multifocal lens with center-near type did not affect accommodative relaxation.

  • 동영상에서 얼굴을 인식하는 기술은 Eigen-Face를 이용하는 방법, 템플릿을 이용하는 방법 등과 같이 다양한 방법이 연구되어지고 있다. 하지만 이들 기법들이 모두 동영상에서 얼굴영역을 검출했을지는 모르지만 얼굴영역이 영상에서 차지하는 위치와 크기를 일정하게 제한하고 있다. 그 중에서 입력되는 영상이 촬영 도구로부터 제한된 거리에서 촬영되어 얻어 지거나 실험을 통해 얻어진 영상을 이용하여 얼굴영역을 검출한다. 하지만 실제 다양한 응용분야에서 얼굴영역 검출 기술을 이용하기 위해서는 이러한 제한된 입력 영상뿐만이 아니라 어떠한 환경에서의 입력 영상에서도 얼굴영역을 검출할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 근거리뿐만이 아니라 원거리에서 획득한 영상에서도 얼굴영역을 검출할 수 있으며, 얼굴의 특징 추출과 예측기법을 통하여 보다 향상된 얼굴영역 검출을 할 수 있다. 움직임 정보와 얼굴색상정보를 이용하여 8x8블록을 만들고 이런 블록 정보들을 특정한 규칙에 적용함으로써 얼굴영역을 후보를 검출하게 된다. 그리고 후보 얼굴영역의 고유한 특징들을 추출하고 칼만 필터를 적용한 예측기법을 통하여 얼굴영역 판단하게 된다.

Development of Video Transfer System using LTE/WiFi for Small UAV (LTE/WiFi 기반 소형 무인기용 영상 전송 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, we present the results of a developed LTE/Wi-Fi-based video transmission system which can be applied in small unmanned aerial vehicles of 25kg or less. The developed video transmission system comprised of airborne datalink terminal, ground datalink terminal, and used LTE and Wi-Fi wireless data communication technologies to transmit videos of resolution higher than HD (720p/30fps, 1080p/30fps) taken by small UAV. The airborne device is designed to efficiently transmit real-time streaming video through the incorporation of H.264 video processing board. Ground tests and evaluation indicated the possibility of the developed system to transmit real-time videos from close distance in regards to non-line-of-sight area.

Changes in the Emotion by the Expressive Definition of Visual Contents (영상콘텐츠의 표현밀도에 따른 감정의 변화)

  • This research deals with expressive definition of visual contents by using the distance between a subject and a screen resolution, and what changes affect the emotion of those looking at the expressive definition. A visual image captured from a HDTV screen was shown to the 61 students attending a university in the Busan area and SAM evaluation method was used to measure 3 different emotions such as pleasant, arousal, and dominance. While comparing different resolution, looking at high resolution contents rather than low resolution resulted in a direction of pleasant, arousal, and dominance. Also showing a different resolution than consistently showing the same resolution had a more volatile emotional effect. Aftermath multiple comparison resulted in a tendency for emotions to become unpleasant and un-arousal when high resolution contents were shown and then switched to a low resolution contents. There was no result of any significance in the control variables. Also on the aftermath multiple comparison on short, medium and long distance between the subject and the screen resolution, short distance had a bigger pleasant, arousal, and dominance emotional numbers than the rest. In a multiple variable verification result, a resolution and the distance of happiness and excitement showed a positive correlation.

Reseach for object auto tracking technology using video analysis and BLE device (근거리 무선통신 기기와 영상분석을 이용한 객체추적 기법에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 중복되지 않는 서로 다른 카메라의 영상을 활용한 동일 객체 판단 및 추적 기술에 대하여 소개한다. 영상분석에서 색상 정보는 가장 기본이 되는 중요한 정보라 할 수 있다. 특히 색상 정보를 이용하는 히스토그램은 일반적으로 추적, 인식 등에 많이 사용되고 있으나 이동 객체나 조도 변화 등에 따라 성능에 차이를 보인다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 본 연구에서는 동일 객체 판단을 위해 대표적으로 사용되는 히스토그램 정합의 두 알고리즘(HSV 공간에서의 Histogram matching 방법과 RGB 공간에서의MCSHR 알고리즘) 결합을 통해 분할 히스토그램은 객체를 3조각으로 나누어 전체와 각각의 히스토그램을 구하며 MCSHR을 RGB공간이 아니 Hue 공간 히스토그램으로 변경하여 유사도를 도출 하였으며 조도 변화에 강인한 모델을 만들기 위해 Controlled equalization기법을 사용하여 원 영상의 히스토그램의 확률과 평활화한 히스토그램의 확률 융합을 시도 하였다. 해당 실험의 비교 결과 기존 HSV공간에서 Histogram matching을 통한 유사도 비교보다 12.9% 향상된 정합율의 결과를 보였다. 또한 영상 정보와 스마트 기기를 통한 인식 방법의 융합을 통해 영상 내에서 동일 객체 판단에 대한 추가 정보 제공에 대해 방법론 적인 부분을 제안 하였다.
