울진 1,2호기 노심운전분석코드 대체 및 검증

  • 국내의 17$\times$17형 원전연료는 종전의 KOFA 연료로부터 Westinghouse(WH)사 Vantage-5H (V5H) 연료로 대체중에 있으며, 울진 1,2호기의 경우 8주기부터 V5H 연료를 장전한다. V5H 연료는 연료 상하부를 천연우라늄으로 구성함으로써 축방향 농축도가 균일하지 않으므로 기존 FRAMATOME사의 2차원 노심운전분석코드체계 (CEDRIC-CARIN-ESTHER)로는 정확한 노심 분석이 불가능하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 V5H 연료가 장전되는 울진 1,2호기에 대한 3차원 노심분석을 위하여 WH사의 INCORE-3D와 TOTE 코드를 PC-Version으로 개발하여 기존 코드체계를 대체하였다. 또한 WH형 원전과는 상이한 형식을 갖는 울진 1,2호기의 중성자속 측정 자료를 INCORE 코드에 적합한 형태로 변환하기 위한 C2I 코드를 개발하고 울진 1호기 6주기의 실제 중성자속 측정 자료를 이용하여 검증하였다. 이들 개발 코드들을 울진 원전에 설치하고, 1호기 8주기 출력상승중 노심출력분포 측정시험(75% 및 100% 출력시험)에 적용한 결과 기술지침서 상의 모든 제한사항이 만족되며 코드성능 또한 만족함을 확인하였다.

  • 인산-망간 화성피막의 경우 양질의 피막층을 형성하기 위하여 표면조정제를 사용하고 있으며, 화성피막 직전에 표면 조정제 처리를 하여 피막 결정의 미세, 치밀, 균일하게 하는 동시에 피막의 화성시간을 단축하고 있다. 본 연구는 표면조정제의 입자 사이즈에 따른 화성피막 입자 사이즈 변화 및 물리적인 특성 향상을 확인하였다. 하지금속 소재로는 기계구조용 탄소강재(SM45C)을 $50{\times}50{\times}3mm$로 제작하였고, 전처리 공정으로는 탈지 ${\rightarrow}$ 에칭 ${\rightarrow}$ 디스머트 후 표면조정제 입자 사이즈별로 표면조정 후, 화성피막 처리를 하였으며 각 조건에 따른 피막 층의 미세조직은 SEM을 사용하여 관찰하였고, 윤활성은 내마모시험기(Ball on disc)를 사용하여 마찰계수 측정을 통해 확인하였으며, 내식성은 5% NaCl 염수분무를 실시하여 적청 발생 면적으로 측정하였다. 표면조정제의 입자 사이즈는 4종류로 세분화하여 표면조정 후 화성피막 처리하였으며, 표면조정제의 입자 사이즈를 미세화함에 따라 화성피막의 입자 사이즈가 미세, 균일해지고 피막의 치밀도가 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 표면조정제의 미분화는 소재 표면에 작고 치밀한 결정(활성점)을 만들며, 표면조정제의 입자 사이즈가 작아질수록 이러한 활성점의 크기가 미세해지고 화성피막의 입자 사이즈 또한 미세화 시키는 역할을 하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 이처럼 표면 조정제의 입자 사이즈에 따른 화성피막 입자 사이즈 및 물성변화는 SEM, 내마모시험 및 내식성 시험을 통하여 확인할 수 있었다. 즉, 표면조정제의 입자 사이즈가 미세해질수록, 화성피막의 입자사이즈가 미세화되었고, 윤활성 및 내식성이 향상되는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

The Study on Growth Performance and Uniformity of White Korean Native Ducks (백색 토종오리의 성장능력 검정과 균일도 연구)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate performance and uniformity of White Korean native ducks collected from two areas in Korea. White ducklings were selected from all ducklings that were hatched from hatchery eggs of Korean native ducks. A total of two hundred forty white ducklings (1-d-old) were used in this work and were divided into 4 groups (4 replicates/group, 15 birds/replicate) with $2{\times}2$ factors (2 groups, J, H; genders, male and female). Weekly body weight of H groups was higher than that of J groups (P<0.05). Also, weekly body weight of male ducks was higher compared to that of female at 6~8 wk old (P<0.05). Uniformity of J groups was higher than that of H groups at the age of 1 wks old (P<0.05), and that of female duck was higher than that of male at the age of 6 wks old (P<0.05). Body weight gain of H group was higher than that of J group (P<0.05), and that of male duck was higher compared to that of female at 6~7 wks old (P<0.05). Feed intake of H group was higher compared to that of J group (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between male and female on feed intake. On feed conversion ratio, J group was higher than H group at 4~5 wks, 7~8 wks and 0~8 wks old (P<0.05), and feed conversion ratio of male duck was higher than that of female at 1~2 wks, 5~6 wks and 6~7 wks old. Finally, these results was tended to show that performance of H groups was higher than that of J groups. Further researches need to carry out to commercial White Korean native ducks on performance and uniformity as well as meat quality and genetic characteristic.

Characterization of In-plane Shear Behaviors of Woven Fabrics by Bias-extension and Trellis-frame Tests (편향 인장 및 트렐리스 시험에 의한 직물 복합재료의 면내 전단 물성 평가)

  • Three types of glass woven fabrics (plain, balanced twill, and unbalanced twill) having various sample sizes and aspect ratios were tested using the bias-extension tests. Real-time deformation images, force, and displacement data were collected. For the bias-extension test, the shear angle of the fabrics from the equation based on the crosshead displacement and fabric size was compared with direct manual measurements of the warp and weft angles as well as the optical measurement software. To determine the shear force, an analytical equation was introduced considering the kinematics of the bias-extension test. The obtained shear behaviors were further compared with the results by the trellis-frame test. The optical measurement methods showed that the mathematical method was reasonable before the shear angle of the fabrics reaches $30^{\circ}$ in the bias-extension tests. Also, the bias-extension test gave consistent behaviors with the trellis-frame test only for isotropic and homogeneous fabrics such as balanced plain and twill weaves.

Effect of Air-circulation Ways on Air Uniformity and Mushroom Quality in a Cultivation Facility for Oyster Mushroom (공기순환 방법이 느타리버섯 재배사 공기균일도 및 버섯품질에 미치는 영향)

  • Effects of substrate bed interior environments on mushroom qualities were investigated in oyster mushroom cultivation facilities in which either Reversible Air-Circulation Fans (RACF) blowing air in two directions (upwards and downwards) or customary Convection Fans (CF) with air blowing only upwards were operated throughout the cultivation period. Two days before harvest, the deviation ranges of the bed interior temperature and relative humidity in the facility using RACF were in the ranges of 1.0-1.3℃ and 7.8-9.0% in the first growing cycle, and within 0.7-1.1℃ and 10.0-11.4% in the second cycle. In the facility using CF, the ranges of variation in the indoor environment parameters (5.8-6.4℃ and 21.3-23.1% in the first growing cycle, and 3.4-5.7℃ and 14.6-18.3% in the second growing cycle) were much enlarged compared to those associated with RACF. These results strongly indicate that RACF significantly enhances air uniformity. Some mushroom qualities differed between growing cycles. For instance RACF in the first cycle gave somewhat better qualities than CF, but some qualities, like pileus diameter and stipe length, were slightly lower than those described for CF in the second cycle when the cultivation substrate weakened. The observation that some qualities worsened under RACF conditions, despite better air uniformity during the growing cycle, revealed the possibility that downward wind may exert a non-negligible negative effect on mushroom growth. Therefore in the future, making wind measurements on the interior and exterior of substrate beds is necessary to obtain insights into their influences on mushroom qualities. The RACF operation manual needs to be edited to convey this necessity.

Study on the Fabrication of Aluminum Vacuum Chamber of Chemical Vapor Depositor for Flat Display with Welding Method (용접방식을 적용한 평면디스플레이용 화학기상증착기의 알루미늄 진공챔버 제조에 관한 연구)

  • LCD 디스플레이 크기는 점차 대형화를 이루면서, 현재 LCD 디스플레이 크기는 3,000*3,320mm 크기까지 증가하여 개발이 활발이 이루어지고 있다. 디스플레이의 크기가 증가함에 따라 제조 장비의 크기도 증가되어야 하므로, LCD 디스플레이 CVD 공정에 사용되는 4,200*3,300mm 크기의 대형 Aluminium Vacuum Chamber 에 피막두께 $15{\mu}m$ 이상을 구현함과 동시에 두께 균일도가 우수하며 염수분무시험으로 168시간 이상의 내식성 확보가 가능한 양극산화조건 개발을 위하여 양극산화 피막의 각종 특성 평가를 실시하였다. 양극산화 피막 두께 측정은 와전류(Eddy Current)의 원리를 이용한 비파괴식 두께 측정법(ISO 2360, ASTM D 7091)을 적용하였으며, 염수분무시험 방법은 (KS D 9502)을 적용하였으며, HCl bubble stream 시험 방법은 HCl 5% 농도를 투명 아크릴 튜브에 채운후 bubble stream 을 종점으로 하여 평가를 실시하였으며, 열충격을 이용한 도금밀착성(KS D 0254), 도장접착력(ASTM D 3359) 등을 이용하여 전해조건 및 전해액 농도에 따른 피막 특성 비교평가를 실시하여 최적의 대형 Aluminium Vacuum Chamber 양극산화 전해 조건을 개발하여 4,200*3,300mm 크기의 대형 Aluminium Vacuum Chamber 제조를 목적으로 하였다.

  • Electromagnetic field characteristics of Reverberation chamber, which could be applicable for an alternative test facility of electromagnetic interference and radiated electromagnetic susceptibility have been investigated. To obtain the required field uniformity of reverberation chamber, Schroeder method Quadratic Residue Diffuser was designed to be applied to chamber. In this paper, 3 different types of diffusers depending on diffuser's periodic direction have been used to investigate field characteristics of each type by using FDTD numerical method. The results show all 3 types of reverberation chambers have below $\pm$3 dB tolerance of field uniformity characteristics, and the symmetrical, type 3, structure show better results among them.

  • the magnetic field homogeneities of the induction coils of various sizes and shapes were investigated in order to prepare for the magnetic field immunity test under the power frequency, the pulse and the damed oscillatory fields recommended by the IEC. For this purpose, we analyzed the magnetic field homogeneities in the two induction coils with $1m\times1m$, and $1m\times2.6m$, , and the double square coils with 0.8m and 0.6m spaced. The testing volume within $\pm$3dB in the double square coil with 0.8m spaced in twice bigger than single square coil with 1m side in the z-direction.

  • 증편 제조조건의 표준화 방법설정을 위하여 다섯가지(발효원, 가수량, 발효온도, 발효시간, 팽창제) 발효조건을 완전임의 배치법으로 시험, 유의성 검정을 하였으며, 증편의 팽화도 측정 및 팽화된 증편의 생장(증편의 부푼모양, 스폰지감의 생성여부, 기공의 균일성)에 대한 관능검사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 팽화도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 발효원, 가수량, 발효온도, 발효시간 둥이었으며 Yeast 1% 보다는 탁주 또는 Yeast 2%를 사용하는 것이 그리고 3$0^{\circ}C$ 보다는 4$0^{\circ}C$에서 발효시키는 편이 발효시간의 단축효과가 있는 것 같았다. 2. 증편의 팽화가 가장 잘 이루어질 수 있는 발효조건으로는 발효원으로서 탁주를 사용하며 가수량을 75%로 하여 4$0^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 발효시킨 후 성형하여 제조하는 것이었다. 3. 증편 성장에 대한 기호도에 영향을 미치는 발효조건으로는 가수량, 발효온도, 발효시간, 팽창제 둥이었으며 가수량에 관계없이 팽창제를 첨가하여 제조하는 것이 좋고 가수량이 낮을수록 발효시간을 길게하는 편이 나을듯 하다. 4. 증편 성장에 대한 기호도가 가장 높은 증편 제조조건으로는 발효원을 Yeast 1%를 사용하고 반죽의 팽창을 돕기 위해 베이킹파우더 1%를 첨가하며 4$0^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 발효시킨 후 성형하여 찌는 것이었다.

One dimensional inhomogeneous aperture modulation effects on the MTF of optical system II (일차원적 비균일 개구변조시 광학계의 최적상면 MTF에 미치는 영향)

  • One dimensional inhomogeneous aperture modulation effects on the MTF of optical system was investigated. The lens under test was a doublet made in Korea. It has 10 mm effective diameter, 87.8 mm effective focal length. The ray-fans and spot diagrams were calculated and presented on the picture for on-axis and off-axis (field of view, $1^{\circ}$ and $2^{\circ}$). Aperture modulation was carried out by positioning a aperture modulator close contacter with the lens under test. We bought two modulators from Edmud Company in U.S.A. One was linear type and the other was stepped type. The MTFs were measured on the best of focus for each modulated aperture where the MTF has the highest value for 60 line/mm and were compared with one another. For on-axis, the MTFs of some modulated apertures had higher values than the MTF of unmodulated aperture in the high frequency region. In the case of off-axis, at the field of view $1^{\circ}$, the MTF values of some modulated aperture are improved prominently and some other one are disimproved. At the field of view $2^{\circ}$ most of the MTFs of modulated apertures had lower values than the MTF of unmodulated aperture except the MTFs of linear and inverse linear type aperture in the high frequency area. But the values of MTFs in high frequency region were too low for actual use.
