PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of triceps surae activation during heel raise test in standing among knee flexion angles($0^{\circ}C$, $30^{\circ}C$, $45^{\circ}C$, $60^{\circ}C$). METHODS: Twenty healthy individuals performed unilateral plantarflexion in standing with $0^{\circ}C$, $30^{\circ}C$, $45^{\circ}C$, $60^{\circ}C$ knee flexion. Activity of medial gastrocnemius(MG), lateral gastrocnemius(LG), soleus(Sol) was recorded with surface electromyography(EMG). RESULT: The muscle activations induced the four different positions were compared and results showed that was significant difference MG and LG while the angle increase from $0^{\circ}C$ to $30^{\circ}C$, $45^{\circ}C$, $60^{\circ}C$ but Sol did not show significant differences in every angle. CONCLUSION: This study suggest that $30^{\circ}C$ knee flexion is required to induce a significant mechanical disadvantage of gastrocnemius.

The fuel tank of a ship is filled with heavy fuel oil (HFO) that has a very high viscosity. In order to inject the HFO into the engine easily, heating coils are usually installed inside the fuel tank to heat the HFO and lower its viscosity. Currently, several different types of heating coils are used, e.g., fin-type, bare-type, drum-type, and shell-and-tube-type. It is well known that the shell-and-tube-type heating coil has good performance and high efficiency. In this study, experiments were conducted to determine the heat transfer efficiencies of three different shell-and-tube-type heating coils. Heat transfer efficiency was evaluated by using FLUENT 6.3.26 software. Also, structural safety was assessed by using ANSYS.simulation software.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and test the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the expectations regarding aging(ERA-12) among middle-aged and elderly women. Methods: The study was conducted as a cross-sectional survey which used a self-report questionnaire. A convenience sampling method was utilized, and data on 298 middle-aged and elderly women were collected. Korean version of ERA-12 was articulated through forward-backward translation methods. Internal consistency reliability, construct and criterion validity were analyzed using PASW WIN (20.0) for testing the use of Korean version of ERA-12. Results: ERA-12 consisted of three factors - expectations regarding physical health, mental health and cognitive function, explaining 56.0% of the total variance in ERA-12. The ERA-12 total score showed positive correlation with RSES (r=.33). The Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient was .81 for the overall instrument and .68-.73 for three factors. Conclusion: Korean version of ERA-12 has high validity and reliability. Therefore, this instrument may be utilized to assess expectations regarding aging for Korean middle-aged and elderly women.

In this paper, the chaos-based secure scheme for power line communication is proposed for the first time. A digitalized chaotic generator based Lorenz system is utilized for generating nonlinear dynamic chaotic signal for masking the information signal instead of reported analog chaotic generators. A simple method of encryption and decryption is also given. In order to confirm the feasibility of the proposed scheme, the system is simulated using a simplified encryption/decryption method in Proteus. The gained results from simulation demonstrated that by using the chaos-based security method, the data can be encrypted and easily transmitted through the power line network efficiently.

본 연구에서는 한국어 음성어휘의 표상이 음성정보로 이루어져 있는지 아니면 철자정보로 이루어져 있는지와, 음성어휘의 표상단위가 음절인지를 조사하였다. 연구 과제로는 형태점화기법(form priming technique)을 사용하였다. 점화 자극과 목표 자극간의 관련성 수준으로는 음운적 혹은 철자적인 것을 사용하였다. 점화 자극과 목표자극간의 간격은 50msec 이었다. 따라서 SOA 각 점화자극의 제시시간에 50msec를 합한 것이다. 연구 결과는 음운적으로 관련되어 있을 때에는 무관련 조건에 비해 느려지는 방해점화(inhibitory priming)가 나타났고 철자적으로 관련되어 있는 경우에는 촉진적점화(facilitatory priming)가 나타났다. 이런 연구 결과는 시각단어 재인 연구에서도 보이는 공통적인 현상으로 음성어휘와 시각어휘가 심성어휘표상에서는 동일한 형태를 지니고 있음을 암시한다. 또한 음운적 관련성에 의한 방해점화효과는 음운음절을 공유하고 있는 어휘 후보자간의 경쟁 때문에 나타난 것으로 해석되며, 철자관련 촉진효과는 어휘접근 전에 일어나는 과정에서 나타나는 것으로 해석된다.

The German Tunnelling Committee (DAUB) recently published new recommendations for face support calculations; Zdenek Zizka and Markus Thewes of Ruhr University Bochum actively discuss and explain these new recommendations where these recommendations are intended to assist in choosing between various calculation methods which are also dependent on ground conditions. The guidelines also discuss important scientific approaches with face stability calculations, mainly those due to earth pressure and groundwater pressure on the tunnel face. This paper aims to explain these recommendations through Zdenek Zizak and Markus Thewes's discussion on these Tunnel Face Support Calculation Methods.

자동판매기 매매 관련 분쟁은 한국소비자단체협의회 자율분쟁조정위원회에서 조정을 한다 이 위원회는 사법적 판단과 중재결정이 갖는 단점을 보완하기 위한 사전적 분쟁 해결 장치로서, 분쟁의 당사자가 다른 당사자에 대해 승리를 얻은 게 아니라 서로가 수용할 수 있는 해결책을 발견하여 당사자 모두에게 이익(win-win)이 되는 방향으로 분쟁 해결을 도모하고 있다. 한마디로 합리적으로 분쟁을조정하고 있는 것이다. 과거 방문판매의 비중이 높았을 당시 자판기 관련 분쟁도 많이 발생했다. 특히 소비자들 기망하는 사기 판매도 많아 피해를 당한 억울한 사람들이 조정을 요청하기도 했다. 방문판매의 비중이 줄어들자고 고정 건수도 급감했다. 자판기가 실수요 위주로 재편이 되다보니 꼭 필요한 사람이 자판기를 구매하는 행태가 일반화된 것이다. 이렇게 절대 건수를 줄었지만 분쟁은 여전히 발생하고 있다. 자판기 구매자가 운영을 하다가 계약해지를 하고 싶은 쪽으로 마음이 바뀌는 경우가 가장 많다. 자판기 방문판매는 사업권유거래에 해당되어 소비자가 계약해지를 원하면 판매자는 수용을 해야 한다. 공정거래위원회와 한국자동판매기공업협회가 제정한 <자판기 매매 표준약관>을 기준으로 손율을 적용하고 있는데 계약해지 하는 입장에서 이 손율도 무척 아까울 수밖에 없다. 가능하면 손율을 많이 받으려는 판매자 입장과 적게 적용받으려는 소비자 입장의 중간에서 합리적인 조정활동이 이루어진다. 이 자율분쟁조정위원회에는 한국자동판매기공업협회 임원도 조정의원으로 참여하고 있다. 사업자와 소비자 상호 신뢰를 바탕으로 건전한 소비문화를 만들어 나가기 위해서는 다양한 분쟁 발생 사례에 대한 모범 조정 해결 사례를 명확히 이해하는 게 중요하다. 지금부터는 과연 어떠한 분쟁유형이 발생하고, 조정은 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 사례들을 예시한다. 한국소비자단체협의회가 발간한 <2010년 자율분쟁조정위원회 조정사례집>에서 발췌를 했다. 이 사례들은 자판기 관련 분쟁에 있어 해결기준을 제시하는데 도움이 되리라 판단된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of store attributes, purchasing experience, clothing product evaluation and store trust on store loyalty of discount store. With convenience sampling, the research was surveyed to women who have bought apparels at the discount store. The 374 responses were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, t-test and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, the clothing product evaluation was significantly affected by the variety of products, reliable advertisement, good display, convenient store location, purchasing cost and buying experience of PB apparel. Second, the trust of discount store was significantly affected by store attributes, purchasing experience and clothing product evaluation. Third, the discount store loyalty was analyzed as fashion store loyalty. The store loyalty was affected by purchasing experience and clothing product evaluation. Fourth, the clothing product evaluation and store loyalty were appeared high by people who had bought PB, PNB and trendy apparels.

The rank/select data structure is a basic tool of succinct representations for several data structures such as trees, graphs and text indexes. For a given string sequence, it is used to answer the occurrence of characters up to a certain position. In previous studies, theoretical rank/select data structures were proposed, but they didn't support practical operational time and space. In this paper, we propose a simple solution for implementing rank/select data structures efficiently. According to experiments, our methods without complex encodings achieve nH$_0$ + O(n) bits of theoretical size and perform rank/select operations faster than the original HSS data structure.
