  • 스마트 시설환경은 대표적으로 원예, 축산 분야 등 여러 형태의 농업현장에 정보 통신 및 데이터 분석 기술을 도입하고 있는 시설화된 생산 환경이라 할 수 있다. 근래에 하드웨어적으로 급증한 스마트 시설환경에서 생산되는 방대한 생육/환경 데이터를 올바르고 적합하게 사용하기 위해서는 일반 산업 현장과는 차별화 된 분석기법이 요구된다고 할 수 있다. 소프트웨어 공학 분야에서 연구된 빅데이터 처리 기술을 기계적으로 농업 분야의 빅데이터에 적용하기에는 한계가 있을 수 있다. 시설환경 내/외부의 다양한 환경 변수는 시계열 데이터의 난해성, 비가역성, 불특정성, 비정형 패턴 등에 기인하여 예측 모델 연구가 매우 난해한 대상이기 때문이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 근래에 관심이 급증하고 있는 인공신경망 연구 소프트웨어인 Tensorflow (www.tensorflow.org)와 대표적인 Open source인 OpenNN (www.openn.net)을 스마트 시설환경 환경변수 상호간 상관성 분석에 응용하였다. 해당 소프트웨어 라이브러리의 운영환경을 살펴보면 Tensorflow 는 Linux(Ubuntu 16.04.4), Max OS X(EL capitan 10.11), Windows (x86 compatible)에서 활용가능하고, OpenNN은 별도의 운영환경에 대한 바이너리를 제공하지 않고 소스코드 전체를 제공하므로, 해당 운영환경에서 바이너리 컴파일 후 활용이 가능하다. 소프트웨어 개발 언어의 경우 Tensorflow는 python이 기본 언어이며 python(v2.7 or v3.N) 가상 환경 내에서 개발이 수행이 된다. 주의 깊게 살펴볼 부분은 이러한 개발 환경의 제약으로 인하여 Tensorflow의 주요한 장점 중에 하나인 고속 연산 기능 수행이 일부 운영 환경에 국한이 되어 제공이 된다는 점이다. GPU(Graphics Processing Unit)의 제공하는 하드웨어 가속기능은 Linux 운영체제에서 활용이 가능하다. 가상 개발 환경에 운영되는 한계로 인하여 실시간 정보 처리에는 한계가 따르므로 이에 대한 고려가 필요하다. 한편 근래(2017.03)에 공개된 Tensorflow API r1.0의 경우 python, C++, Java언어와 함께 Go라는 언어를 새로 지원하여 개발자의 활용 범위를 매우 높였다. OpenNN의 경우 C++ 언어를 기본으로 제공하며 C++ 컴파일러를 지원하는 임의의 개발 환경에서 모두 활용이 가능하다. 특징은 클러스터링 플랫폼과 연동을 통해 하드웨어 가속 기능의 부재를 일부 극복했다는 점이다. 상기 두 가지 패키지를 이용하여 2016년 2월부터 5월 까지 충북 음성군 소재 딸기 온실 내부에서 취득한 온도, 습도, 조도, CO2에 대하여 Large-scale linear model을 실험적(시간단위, 일단위, 주단위 분할)으로 적용하고, 인접한 세그먼트의 환경변수 예측 모델링을 수행하였다. 동일한 조건의 학습을 수행함에 있어, Tensorflow가 개발 소요 시간과 학습 실행 속도 측면에서 매우 우세하였다. OpenNN을 이용하여 대등한 성능을 보이기 위해선 병렬 클러스터링 기술을 활용해야 할 것이다. 오프라인 일괄(Offline batch)처리 방식의 한계가 있는 인공신경망 모델링 기법과 현장 보급이 불가능한 고성능 하드웨어 연산 장치에 대한 대안 마련을 위한 연구가 필요하다.

Study on the Manufacturing Techniques of Metallic Ornament of Treasure 930, the Staffs of Yi Gyeong-seok (보물 제930호 이경석 지팡이에 사용된 장석의 제작기법 고찰)

  • The staff given with chair to Yi Gyeong-seok, senior official over 70 years old by King Hyeonjong of Joseon Dynasty is representative handcraft of Joseon Dynasty. Results of analysis on the metallic decoration show that the metallic ornament of the end part which is connected to the spade was made by rolling of iron plate and brass plating. The plated part is limited to the ornament of the end part connected to the spade and the plating was not applied to the spade. Brass including 20% zinc was used for the connecting part of guard while brass gilded iron was used for the spade. This suggests that the tone of the connecting part of the guard and the spade was not different for reason of visual harmonization. Potential applied plating method can be amalgam, dippping in molten brass, and brushing but the analysis result suggests that dipping in molten brass method is the most likely accepted method. The brass guard of knife was joined by tin-lead solder. Rivet used to fix the blade was made by pure iron as an optimum material which satisfies flexibility and strength.

  • 오늘날 스트레스라는 단어는 모든 현대인과 방송, 언론매체에서도 매일 거론되어질 정도로그 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 의학계에서도 스트레스를 단순한 심리적 문제로 국한시키지 않고 과도한 스트레스가 지속될 경우 신경계와 내분비계, 면역계의 변화를 초래해 인체의 항상성에 영향을 미쳐 질병을 일으킨다는 것을 인식하고 있으며 이에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 질병의 발생과정에서 생체의 일부조직이 파괴됨으로써 기능과 형태변화가 초래될 때 apoptosis가 관여하고 있으며 이에 본 저자는 스트레스와 구강악안면영역에서 발생할 수 있는 질병과의 상관관계를 규명하기 위해 이종의 한냉 스트레스와 다소의 굴신을 허용한 중등도의 구속 스트레스를 부여한 후 측두하악관절 활막의 변화를 전자현미경관찰을 통해 밝혀내고자 한다. Sprague-Dawley계 웅성 백서(200-230 g/bw) 33마리를 구속스트레스부여군 (12마리), 한냉스트레스부여군 (12마리) 및 정상군 (3마리)으로 나누고 이들을 각각 구속장치에 구속한 후 1, 3, 5, 7일에 각각 희생시켰으며 측두하악관절 활막의 변화를 전자현미경으로 관찰하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 중등도의 구속스트레스군에서 사립체는 부분적으로 농축된 소견을 보였으며 수와 크기에 있어 시간이 지남에 따라 점차 감소하는 소견을 보였다. 2. 중등도의 구속스트레스군에서 과립내형질망은 점점 확장되었으며 불규칙한 형태를 나타내었다. 3. 중등도의 구속스트레스군에서 물결모양의 핵막의 이중구조가 7일군에서 관찰되었다. 4. 한냉 스트레스군에서 사립체는 1일, 3일군에서 약간 부푼 형태를 가지고 그 수가 다소 감소되었으나 시간이 지남에 따라 5일, 7일군에서 건강한 모양으로 점차 증가되었다. 5. 한냉 스트레스군에서 과립내형질망은 1일, 3일군에서 불규칙하게 확장된 소견을 보였으나 5일, 7일군에서는 잘 발달된 형태로 핵 주위에서 다수 관찰되었다. 6. 한냉 스트레스군에서 핵은 전 기간에 걸쳐 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 측두하악관절 활막조직은 한냉 스트레스 및 중등도의 구속 스트레스에 대하여 중등도의 저항성을 가지고 있는 것으로 생각되며 생리적 적응한계를 넘는 과도하고 지속적인 스트레스에 의하여 활막조직이 apoptosis되어 측두하악관절에 병리적 변화를 초래할 가능성이 있다고 사료되어 이후 지속적인 연구가 요구된다.

THE ANTICARIOGENIC EFFECT OF RESIN INFILTRATION ACCORDING TO THE PRETREATMENT OF SURFACE LAYERS IN NATURAL INCIPIENT CARIES LESIONS (초기 우식 병소의 표층 처리에 따른 Resin infiltration의 우식 저지 능력 평가)

  • As a most conservative, minimally invasive trial against early caries lesions, resin infiltration concept has been introduced and studied mainly about effective materials and pre-treatment methods of surface layers to arrest the lesion effectively, which is still going on. This study was performed with an aim of evaluating the efficacy of arresting the caries process in the natural incipient lesions in spite of removing the surface layers and we obtained the results as follows: 1. It was revealed that infiltration groups(1, 3, 5) showed lower radio-density decline between pre- and posttreatment than control groups(2, 4, 6)(p<0.05). 2. Group 5, in which the surface layer was removed with hydrochloric acid, showed the most significant anticariogenic effect(p<0.05). 3. Under SEM evaluation after infiltration, group 1 and 3 showed more irregular destruction and intensive loss of surface layers than group 5. In conclusion, it was thought resin infiltration can be an effective tool against the early caries lesions although surface layers are removed.

Analysis on Korean Fund of Funds (국내 모태펀드의 성과에 대한 연구)

  • Since 2005, Korea Venture Investment Corp. (KVIC) has been managing Korean Fund of Funds (KFoF) which helped greatly the domestic venture capitals create their private funds. Its contribution, however, is not limited fetching the pump. When KFoF decides to invest in VC funds, it demands very strict rules the VC funds need to follow before and after their investments in private equities. Whether this tight control of investments does hinder GPs' creativity or rather enhance GPs' transparency and professionalism is an open question subject to empirical tests. If KFoF is only fetching the pump, and neither fund size or time horizon improves VC funds' return rates, then KFoF's involvement in VC funds should not be positively related to VC funds' return rates. If, on the other hand, KFoF harms GPs' creativity, KFoF's involvement should be negatively related to VC funds' performances. Still, if KFoF promotes GPs' transparency and professionalism, its presence in VC funds should positively affect the returns earned by VC funds. Even when KFoF only got to get quality VC funds because those GPs good enough to stand up to the tight conditions set forth by KFoF, the empirical implication will yield the same results. In this article, empirical tests are carried out using the data provided by Korea Venture Capital Association. The VC funds formed and liquidated from 2000 to 2018 are selected for the tests. The results show that VC funds with the presence of KFoF exceed VC funds without KFoF in returns, which supports the hypothesis that KFoF enhances transparency and professionalism of VC funds.

  • There are many economical and industrial as well as social demands enabling smart management of railway vehicle including parts management by introducing RFID system in railway vehicle. In this paper, overseas researches and developments which use cases of RFID were investigated and analyzed. In this process, cases of various industries adopting RFID technology as well as cases of railway part were investigated. RFID system is used mainly for railway vehicle position detection and identification of vehicles in the field of railway. Also there are cases of application on traceability management of railway vehicle parts. The system in which RFID technology can be applied to railway parts management and traceability management is necessary for smart management of domestic railway vehicle.

Noninvasive Evaluation of Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Patency by Electron Beam Tomography (전자선 단층 촬영을 이용한 관상동맥 우회로 개존의 비침습적 평가)

  • Recently non-invasive diagnostic imaging replaced the invasive catheter angiography in the diagnosis of vascular disease. Catheter methods are now almost confined to the purpose of intervention. Coronary artery or coronary artery bypass graft still needs catheter technique because of small diameter and the cardiac motion. The last challenge for radiologists in this domain is to obtain a non-invasive imaging. Electron beam tomography(EBT) for high temporal resolution is able to obtain a coronary arteriogram or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), of which CABG imaging is quite useful for the evaluation of patency. In our experience as well as others, the accuracy of EBT angiogram in evaluating CABG patency revealed that the accuracy of patency of saphenous vein grafts(SVG) is high due to relatively wide lumen, short and straight course and less influence from cardiac motion. The sensitivity and specificity of patency of SVGs were 92%, 97% respectively in the prospective evaluat on and 100% each in the retrospective evaluation. A false positive and a false negative case are rudimentary errors in the initial learing period. In contrast the analysis of left internal mammary artery(LIMA) graft was difficult due to the inherent small size and the adjacent surgical clips provoking beam-hardening artifact; therefore, the method of combining 3 dimensional reconstruction and flow mode study was important in improving the accuracy of LIMA patency. The sensitivity and specificity of LIMA patency were 100% and 80% in both prospective and retrospective evaluation. Therefore, EBT angiography is an accurate non-invasive diagnostic modality for evaluating the patency of CABG, particularly in SVGs. The accuracy can be improved with the improvement of the EBT and the development of the image reconstruction software.

Research on the Plans of Construction Information for National Infrastructure in Public Construction Projects (공공건설사업에서의 국가기반시설 건설정보 서비스 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The construction field is implementing cost savings and business process improvements by adopting and applying various information technologies to secure the construction sector's technological competitiveness amid the economic recessions inside and outside South Korea. Therefore, affiliated agencies of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport are reinforcing transparency and efficiency in construction project management through informatization. These agencies are also performing construction project management and maintenance and management businesses by constructing various information systems to create higher added values and secure competitiveness. However, as the application of the constructed information system is limited to a portion of public construction projects, it is not yet possible to understand the whole status of the national infrastructures. Therefore, this paper aims to propose a construction information service plan, its future promotion method and procedure of application on the entire national infrastructures. This plan would be carried out by collecting, linking and fabricating the main construction information from the information systems of the affiliated agencies around the construction project information system(Construction CALS System) being applied at the organizations under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. Such a plan is expected to facilitate effective project management and maintenance of public construction projects and serve as a useful tool for major decision making endeavors such as future policy planning. The proposed plan is also expected to facilitate the management and application of construction information from the construction up to the maintenance management of the national infrastructures.

Arthroscopic Resection of Synovial Plica in Elbow (관절경을 이용한 주관절 활막 추벽의 제거)

  • Purpose: To report our experience with nine cases of pathologic synovial plica on radiohumeral joint which symptom of painful snapping elbow was improved by arthroscopic resection. Materials and Methods: Between 1999 and 2004, 43 cases of elbow arthroscopy were performed by one surgeon. Eight patients with nine cases showed pathologic synovial plica in conjunction with snapping or posterolateral elbow pain. The mean age of eight patients (man: 7, woman: 1) was 29 years (range $16{\sim}56$ years). All patients had a trial of conservative treatment at least six months (range $6{\sim}16$ months). The diagnosis was confirmed before surgery in six cases and at the time of surgery in three cases. Pain, snapping, and subjective results were evaluated at least 12 months in the average(range $12{\sim}24$). Results: All patients showed a hypertropic lateral synovial plica with local synovitis. Seven of them had an associated lesion of chondromalacia on radial head. One of them was associated with radiocapitellar arthritis and had a wrapping over the radial head. Six patients experienced improved posterolateral pain at the end of study (VAS<1). However, the other two patients had occasional pain with activity. One of them persisted with mechanical symptoms, which was treated with additional arthroscopic procedure. Conclusion: Synovial plica in elbow should be considered as an important entity of common elbow disease, especially when pain in the lateral aspect of the elbow with a snapping sensation during motion is featured in patients. The arthroscopic resection seems to be safe and efficient in the short and long term treatment of plica in the elbow joint.

The plan of stabilizing Gyeongnam Chung-yang Green Pepper Farm Income (경남 청양 풋고추농가 소득 안정화 방안)

  • This study examined the instability factor of real income and net profits of Chung-yang Green Pepper Farm through an analysis of the operating costs. Furthermore, this paper suggests a plan for stabilizing the price by shipment adjustments resulting from an analysis of the price elasticity by A Linear Approximated Inverse Almost Ideal Demand System (LA/IAIDS). The income instability factor of the farm based on an analysis of the operating costs was attributed to the unexpected loading of utility expenses and collapse of the price due to oversupply at a specific point in time. On the other hand, this is insufficient to completely explain the income instability factor of Chung-yang Green Pepper Farm because a price collapse does not include the monthly price changes. An analysis of the price and scale flexibility of Chung-yang Green Pepper Farm by monthly data showed that annual farm net yield increases by 1.21% due to a 2.21% increase in price if the shipment quantity is reduced to 1% a year. In summary, a plan that supports the farm price received through declining shipments in winter is effective in stabilizing the income of farms. Because Chung-yang Green Pepper in Gyeongnam region has an especially high market share of 82.5%, the prices and income of Gyeongnam Chung-yang Green Pepper farms can be stabilized effectively if they form an association of producers around the Gyeongnam region and adjust the shipment.
