Korean economy has experienced rapid expansion of the service sector at the expense of the manufacturing sector since 1988, which was caused by the wage increase and the appreciation of Won. The government worried about the deindustrialization and the erosion of the international competitiveness, and various measures were taken to enduce labor force into the manufacturing sector. However, this article argues that the expansion of the service sector is inevitable phenomenon in the process of economic development, and the balanced industrial policies are desirable. In addition, the Uruguay Round Service Negotiations require liberalization of the service market and internationalization of the service industries.

정보화사회로의 진행과정에서 공중통신망을 통합 가입자 상호간의 정보유통은 사회경제 활동의 고도화에 따라 더욱 다양하고 다량화될 전망이다. 이들 가입자 상호간에 유통정보를 안전하고 신뢰성있게 전달하기 위하여 안전 서비스 요구는 필연적이 될 것이다. 이러한 안전 서비스의 제공을 위해서 사업자 측면에서는 관련 장비의 상호운용성 확보와 년구개발 또는 도입 제품 평가의 용이성을 위하여 표준화가 요구되며 제품생산자 측면에서는 생산 원가의 저렴화를 위하여 반드시 표준화가 필요하다. 본고에서는 안전 기술의 표준화 연구를 수행하는 주요 국제기구인 IOS/IEC, CCITT등의 활동 중 특히 ISO/IEC JTC1의 SC27(정보기술-안전기술)에서의 브뤼셀 회의 결과('91. 10)와 CCITT SG VLL(데이터 통신)의 4차 회의결과('91.9) 를 ㄹ중심으로 안전기술 분야의 최근 표준화활동을 소개함으로써 통신사업자가 정보통신사업에 필요한 안전 기술 및 이의 표준화 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

This paper presents a simple two-sector general equilibrium model of noncomparative advantage trade between structurally identical advanced economies. Attention has focused on the effects of trade in information technology (IT) goods and services on the wage inequality in the digital economy. The model confirms and illustrates that wage inequality in the digital economy reflect trade in IT goods and services between advanced economies. In particular, this paper shows that even though the relative price of skilled labor-intensive technology good is declined with trade in IT goods and services, the wage of skilled labor increases. The reason is that as Jorgenson (2001) has empirically found, the price elasticity of demand for the technology goods is elastic.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the components and to verify the relationship among internal marketing, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention in international logistics firm. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, literature survey related to internal marketing, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention was carried out and took an empirical analysis by the use of questionnaire method for employees in international logistics firm. The final results and conclusions are as follows; Internal marketing of international logistics firm was positively related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Internal marketing, Job satisfaction and organizational were negatively related to turnover intention. Through this results, to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and to decrease turnover intention, it is necessary to concentrate on improving internal marketing strategy.

This study examines the impact of national economic restructuring on regional development patterns. Korea's development over the last decade has been characterized by a rapid economic restructuring towards the information economy. This economic restructuring has had significant impacts on regional development patterns. The most remarkable feature is a clear coreperiphery disparity in terms of levels of informatization. Seoul showed an extraordinarily high level of informatization. The process of regional development in the information era is marked by an intensified spatial division of labor, which articulates with the pre-existing pattern of regional disparity. Information infrastructrue improvements for regional development do not necessarily result in reductions in regional unevenness. There is an urgent need to develop the integrated regional informatization strategy.

급변하는 경제, 사회환경과 더불어 정보화에 대한 관심이 고조되고 이를 이용한 생활 편익 추구가 점점 강렬해져 가고 있다. 이러한 이용자의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 정보사회의 기반구조를 구축하고 관련제도 및 핵심기술의 개발을 원활히 추진하기 위한 방편으로 표준화의 중요성을 빼놓을 수 없다. 또한 정보사회에서의 다양한 정보통신서비스를 제공하기 위한 각종 장비 및 서비스의 상호호환 및 상호 운용성이 요구됨에 따라 이들에 관한 기술 표준화는 필수적인 요소로 지적되고 있다. 이와 같은 국제적인 환경변화에 대응하고 표준의 신속한 개발을 위하여 ITU, ISO 및 지역, 국가 표준화기관들이 활발한 활동을 추진하고 있다. 본 고는 이러한 국제표준화 활동의 일환으로 진행되고 있는 ITU TSAG의 국제표준화 활동에 직접 참여하여 추진된 사항을 세밀히 분석하고 이에 관한 관련 정보를 제공함으로써 국내표준화 활동에 보탬이 될 수 있기를 바라면서 제5차 TSAG의 활동상을 기술한다.

정보화 시대의 급속한 진행에 따라 하드웨어에 기반한 기간망의 구축과 함께 다양한 형태의 정보를 안전하게 관리할 수 있는 정보보호 서비스 시스템의 구축이 매우 중요한 시점이다. 세계 시장 경제의 기본 패러다임을 바꾸는 전자상거래 등의 새로운 서비스가 발달함에 따라 정보의 안전과 신뢰를 보장할 수 있는 정보보호 시스템의 필요성은 매우 강조되고 있다. 아직까지 국내의 정보보호 산업은 중소기업 및 벤처기업을 중심으로 제품이 개발되는 초기 단계로 볼 수 있다. 지식과 정보를 보호하기 위한 여러 선진국의 노력을 고려할 때, 국제공도연구를 통한 경쟁력 있는 첨단기술을 확보하는 것은 불가능하다. 따라서 지식과 정보 자원의 유출을 막기 위해서 국자적 차원에서 기업, 연구소, 학교가 함께 범국가적인 차원의 독자적인 기술확보가 필요하다. 전자상거래 등의 인터넷에 기반한 다양한 서비스를 위한 정보보호기술의 표준, 정보보호의 핵심 및 기반 기술, 차세대 통신망 정보보호 기술, 시스템 정보보호기술, 해킹 방지 기술 등을 국가적인 차원에서 추진하고 응용서비스 등의 분야는 민간부문에서 추진하는 것이 바람직하다.

In this study, the economic ripple effect of knowledge service industry were compared and analyzed in four countries of USA, UK, Japan and Korea. The production induction coefficient is the largest in Japan, followed by the United Kingdom, the United States, and Korea. On the other hand, the employment inducement coefficient of the knowledge service industry was the highest in all countries except the UK. This implies that the proportion of employment is significantly increased compared to other industries as the role and importance of knowledge service industry increases in the economic and social structure on which knowledge is based.

인터넷 웹사이트를 통한 개인정보의 대량 유통, 상품배송기관을 통한 개인정보의 유출, 명의도용, 신용정보유출 등의 정보프라이버시 침해의 사례가 많이 발표되면서, 개인정보의 적절한 이용과 정보 프라이버시(Information Privacy)의 보호에 대한 관심이 날로 높아져가고 있다. 이러한 사회 현상과 시민의 관심을 반영하여 개인정보 보호를 위한 다양한 법률과 제도가 최근에 검토되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 이름, 전화번호, 주소, 전자우편주소 등 비교적 민감하지 않은 개인정보를 기업의 마케팅이나 홍보에 이용하는 경우의 좁은 의미에서의 개인정보 보호에 초점을 맞추었다. 이러한 개인정보 및 개인정보서비스 와 관련된 법률, 정책 및 제도를 정보의 생성과 이용의 흐름 및 경제주체를 중심으로 적절한 정보의 이용이 보장 되면서 개인의 정보프라이버시가 보호될 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 방법을 체계적으로 검토하였다. 해외의 개인정보서비스 산업의 사례 조사를 통하여 향후 우리나라에서 개인정보서비스산업이 활성화되었을 때 개인의 만족증대, 실질적인 정보보호 수준의 향상, 고용창출, 기업활동의 효율화, 관련기업의 국제경쟁력 고양 등의 기대효과가 있음을 보였다. 또한, 개인정보의 적절한 이용과 보호, 그리고 정보서비스산업의 활성화를 위하여 관련 법률의 제정 및 개정, 정보보호 제도의 개발 및 효과적 운영, 장기적 정보서비스 산업 활성화 정책 수립과 단계적 추진, 활성화를 위한 정부 및 민간 재원 확보, 사회적 공감대 형성, 지속적인 연구 등을 제안한다.

사회경제의 성장에 따른 수요 증가 및 서비스 다양화추세에 따라 음성통신, 데이터통신 및 간단한 영상통신 등을 서비스하기 위한 통신망이 구축, 발전되어 왔다. 다양한 종류의 멀티미디어 서비스가 하나의 통신매체를 통하여 송 수신될 것으로 예측되며, 이를 실현하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 가입자 댁내에 설치되는 구내통신선로설비의 고도화가 필수적이다. 특히 보다 빠른 속도의 다양한 정보통신서비스를 이용하고자 하는 가입자의 욕구증대와 이를 가능하게 하는 혁신적인 기술발전이 결합하여 가입자 댁내 어디서나 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 편리하게 이용할 수 있는 구내배선시스템이 초고속 정보통신망시대의 고부가가치를 창출하는 주력사업으로 부상함에 따라 이에 대한 연구개발이 선진국간에 경쟁력으로 진행 중에 있다. 선진국의 기술개발과 표준화 동향에 대하여 간략히 고찰 한 후, 21세기 정보사회에 대비하기 위하여 현재 정부가 추진중인 구내통신선로설비 기술개발 및 표준화 계획을 간략히 소개하고 향후 기술개발일정과 국제표준과 연계한 표준화 계획을 제시하고자 한다.
