A Study on the Improvement Method for Health Management of Seafares (상선 승무원들의 건강관리 개선방안 연구)

  • In this study, the corelation among the knowledge of and attitude to health care and the actual health protective practices of seafarers was surveyed and analyzed in order to provide the management method for improving seafarers' health care. The subjects of this study were 516 seafarers who took refresh training courses in Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology. The questionnaire was constructed under the Guidelines for National Health of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and modified for studying seafarers' health state. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS package. The results were as follows: 1) The older, married, religion believer, higher ranker, the man who have longer career have the higher degree of knowledge, attitude, and practice-degree(p<0.05). 2) The degree of knowledge, attitude, and practice are $4.24{\pm}0.35$, $3.45{\pm}0.41$, and $3.39{\pm}0.22$ in mean by 5-score scale, respectably. 3) The corelation among the degree of knowledge, attitude, and practice was significant(r=0.33~0.63, p<0.05).

Changes in Korean Consumer's Perception and Attitudes toward Genetically-modified Foods (우리나라 국민의 유전자재조합식품에 대한 인지도 및 수용도 변화)

  • A survey on consumer's awareness and perception toward genetically-modified(GM) foods was conducted on 2110 random samples of Korean consumers. More than 65% of the respondents were exposed to some information related to GM foods. The respondents answered that the greatest benefit of the development of GM foods is remedy of potential food shortages in the future. More than 90% of Korean consumers wanted GM foods to be labeled as such. More than 50% of the respondents would not buy until they know more about GM foods. Only 35.8% of Korean consumers were found to know that food items originating from plants contained genes. More consumers responded that they would not buy herbicide-resistant GM soybean but buy vitamin-enriched GM soybean. Many Korean consumers' decision of acceptance or rejection of GM foods depend not on the basis of biotechnology, but on the basis of the degree of benefit to the consumers. Only 6.4% of Korean consumers responded that GM foods were the greatest threat to the safety of Korean foods. The perception of Korean consumers on GM foods has not changed significantly during the past 5 years.

  • This study aims to expand the effect of online education into the aspect of active exploration and sharing of class-related issues by learners. Based on theoretical discussions, Two types of motivation (personal and social) to explore issues, engagement, attitude toward issue content, and eWOM model were verified. As a result of the study, it was found that the impact of personal and social motivations that online education has on engagement on specific issues, and the positive(+) influence on attitudes toward issue content and word of mouth intentions on SNS, considering engagement as a parameter. In this study, the role of engagement in inducing the next learning by oneself was confirmed, and it can be seen that social and personal motives for issues and class content should be utilized to increase engagement.

A Study on Factors Influencing Consumer Purchase Intentions and Purposes in Direct-To-Consumer Genetic Test (소비자의뢰 유전자검사 구매 의도 및 목적에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • Innovation of genomics technology has recently been extended to Direct To Consumer Genetic Test (DTC-GT) which consumers purchase without requesting the service on medical institutes. In 2016, Korea has introduced the DTC-GT but the market size is small comparing to global market. This study analyzes consumers' purchase intentions and purposes and their influential factors based on 2018 consumer survey. According to the results of binominal and multinominal logistic regression, knowledge after purchase, attitude on medical care benefit, health status are statistically significant on purchase intentions. Purchase purposes are different on age group and related on medical care rather than health care. These results imply that DTC-GT is needed to improve consumer satisfaction, re-purchase and effective care service. This paper is expected to contribute on strategic directions for the new DTC-GT product development.

  • This study attempted to examine how Personalization Advertising and Customization Advertising strategies affect consumers' Aad among AI-based Programmatic Advertising strategies that have been actively conducted recently. To this end, the relationship between two advertising strategies, the transportation, the overall emotional experience that occurs when acting, and Aad was examined structurally. As a result of a survey of 110 general people, Personalization Advertising had a negative influence on consumers' transportation, and the Customization Advertising strategy had a positive influence. In addition, transportation had a positive influence on the Aad. These results suggest the needs to actively induce consumers into Customization advertising situation, rather than the company's mechanical analysis and exposure-oriented advertising strategy.

Factors associated with the attitude of South Korean adults toward food aid to North Korea (남한 성인의 대북식량지원에 대한 태도 관련 요인)

  • Purpose: This study examines the attitude of South Korean adults toward food aid to North Korea and factors associated with it. Methods: An online survey involving 1,000 adults aged 19-69 years was conducted between September-October 2019. Throughout South Korea, the subjects were proportionally distributed with respect to gender, age, and region, to represent South Korean adults. Results: A total of 44.6% of the respondents agreed (Agreement group), 36.7% disagreed (Disagreement group), and 18.7% neither agreed nor disagreed to food aid to North Korea. Compared to the Disagreement group, the Agreement group had a higher concern of food aid to North Korea and a more positive perception on the effect of it. The Agreement group selected "direct assistance from the government" whereas the Disagreement group chose "support through international organizations" as the most appropriate channel for food aid to North Korea. Logistic regression analysis revealed that South Korean adults showing a more positive perception on the effect of food aid to North Korea were more likely to agree to the aid (odds ratio [OR], 19.32). Moreover, compared to the conservatives, the progressives were more likely to agree to food aid to North Korea (OR, 5.94). South Korean adults in their 40-50s were more likely to agree to food aid to North Korea than those in their 20-30s (OR, 2.81). South Korean adults with a higher concern of food aid to North Korea (OR, 3.93) and a greater positive perception on Korean unification (OR, 1.88) were more likely to agree to food aid to North Korea. Conclusion: The most important factor associated with the attitude of South Korean adults toward food aid to North Korea was their perception on the subsequent effect. As strategies to draw social consensus on food aid to North Korea, we recommend systematizing the monitoring process on the effect of providing food aid to North Korea and informing the public of the outcomes.

  • 자연재해위험지구란 자연재해로부터 안전하지 못하여 국민의 생명과 재산에 피해를 줄 수 있는 지역과 자연재해의 피해를 저감할 수 있는 시설을 포함한 주변지역으로서 자연재해대책법 제12조의 규정에 의하여 지정된 지구를 말한다. 자연재해대책법에 따라 시장 군수 구청장은 상습침수지역 산사태위험지역 등 지형적인 여건 등으로 인하여 재해가 발생할 우려가 있는 지역에 대하여는 자연재해위험지구로 지정 고시한다. 2010년에 특별 재고시 되어진 재해위험지구 지정현황을 비롯하여 최근 지정해제 등 변경사항을 고려하여 총 683개(2011년 현재)의 지구를 대상으로 조사한 결과, 침수위험지구는 401개(전체의 59%), 붕괴위험지구는 128개(전체의 19%), 유실위험지구는 98개(전체의 14%), 취약방재위험지구는 28개(전체의 4%), 고립위험지구는 18개(전체의 3%), 해일위험지구는 10개(전체의 1%)로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서는 2010년 특별 재고시된 자연재해위험지구(침수위험지구)의 2011년도 현황을 바탕으로 기 지정된 재해위험지구에 대한 대규모 하천정비 및 기후변화에 따른 침수위험의 변화영향을 검토하였다. 이는 대규모 하천정비 및 기후변화에 따른 기존의 침수영향변화를 복합적으로 검토하여 한강, 낙동강, 금강, 영산강 수계 자연재해위험지구(침수위험지구)의 복합 영향의 범위를 분석하였다.

Effect of Dementia Attitudes according to Dementia Education in University Students on the Recognition of Dementia Policy - Mediating effect of dementia knowledge - (대학생의 치매교육에 따른 치매태도가 치매정책인식에 미치는 영향 - 치매지식 매개효과 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of dementia attitudes according to dementia education in university students on the recognition of dementia policy, focusing on the mediating effect of dementia knowledge. The participants were 306, 1~2 grad of students of U and K university in 2 G cities. The data were collected from September 1 to 31, 2017, and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program with t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple stepwise regression. There were significant differences in the education group compared to the non-education group in recognition of dementia policy, dementia knowledge, and dementia attitude according to the subject's dementia education. The level of dementia attitudes, recognition of dementia policy, dementia knowledge and attitudes were more than moderate. The positive correlations among recognition of dementia policy, dementia knowledge and attitudes were significant. Dementia knowledge was a predictor of recognition of dementia policy (t=2.35, p=019) and showed a significant partial mediating effect, and the explanatory power was 17.8%. It is necessary to continuously systematically provide the development and application of dementia education programs for the whole people to raise correct dementia knowledge, positive attitudes toward dementia, and awareness of dementia policies.

3D Character Modeling Through Reconstruction of Human Body Information (인체 정보 재구성을 통한 3D캐릭터 모델링)

  • The national standard physique research of Korea is being conducted every 5-6 year term after its first research was started in 1979, the fourth research was conducted in 1997. The result of the national physique research was reflected in manufactured goods design of allied industries such as clothing, shoes, furniture. In this thesis, we measured anthropometry value for every bodily figurative classification after dividing users according to gender, age, bodily figure using the result of the national standard physique research. We constructed 3D character through the process of analyzing interrelation of measured anthropometry and measuring representative category. For the process for organization, we measured anthropometry which can express sports action of golf, tennis and etc effectively. We made it by Presenting measurement which is able to form each type of 3D character after the category was decided. Quantitative and objective valuation for posture and action became possible by developing visible information offer and posture action analysis protocol in theoretical approach for analysis of posture and action in sports.
