Electrical characterizations of$Al/TiO_2-SiO_2/Mo$ antifuse ($Al/TiO_2-SiO_2/Mo$ 구조를 가진 Antifuse의 전기적 특성 분석)

  • This paper is focused on the fabrication of reliable Al/$TiO_2-SiO_2$/Mo antifuse, which could operate at low voltage along with the improvement in on/off state properties. Mo metal as the bottom electrode had smooth surface and high melting point, and was being kept as-deposited $SiO_2$film stable. The breakdown voltage of TiO_2-SiO_2$ stacked antifuse was better than that of same-thickness (100 $\AA$) $SiO_2$antifuse because of Ti diffusion in $SiO_2$. The improving breakdown-voltage and on-resistance can be obtained as well as the influence of hillock in the bottom metal is reduced by using double insulator. Low on-resistance (65 $\Omega$) and low programming voltage (9.0 V) can be obtained in these antifuses with 250 $\AA$ double insulator.

  • CAES-G/T (Compressed Air Energy Storage - Gas Turbine) power generation is a likely option for the buffer facility stabilizing the fluctuation of the renewable powers, such as wind and solar powers. Considering the geological conditions, the underground CAES facility is most probable if the CAES-G/T generation is planed in Korea. In this kind of facility, a concrete plug is installed to seal the compressed air in the container, so that the selection of the shape and dimension of concrete plug could be a critical design factor. The stability evaluation of two types of plug was carried out by investigating the distribution of the factor of safety in the plugs and the distribution of contact pressure over the contact surface. The analysis result shows that the taper-shaped plug is more structurally stable than the wedge-shaped plug for the given geological condition. Possible separation of the rock-concrete interface around the spring line of the wedge-shaped plug is anticipated, which means the possible leakage of compressed air through the side wall and also means the poor mobilization of frictional resistance on that area.

Probabilistic Assessment of Seepage Stability of Soil Foundation under Water Retaining Structures by Fragility Curves (취약도 곡선에 의한 수리구조물 하부 지반의 확률론적 침투 안정성 평가)

  • In this study, probabilistic steady seepage behavior of soil foundation beneath water retaining structures according to the location of cutoffs was studied. A Monte Carlo Simulation based on the random finite element method that considers the uncertainty and spatial variability of soil permeability was performed to evaluate the probabilistic seepage behavior. Fragility curves were developed by calculating the failure probability conditional on the occurrence of a given water level from the probability distribution obtained from Monte Carlo simulations. The fragility curve was prepared for the flow quantities such as flow rate through foundation soil, uplift force on the base of structure, and exit gradient in downstream to examine the reliability of the water retaining structure and the foundation soil. From the fragility curves, the effect of the location of cutoff wall on the reliability of water retaining structure and foundation soil according to the rise in water level was studied.

An Evaluation of the Influence of a Mixed Gas Explosion on the Stability of an Underground Excavation (혼합 가스폭발이 지하구조물 안정성에 미치는 영향 평가)

  • With the increase of the utilization of underground space in Korea, explosion accidents at the underground facilities such as gas pipes have occurred frequently. In urban area with high population density, individual explosion accidents are likely to spread into large complex accidents. It is necessary to investigate the effect of explosion on the stability of underground structures in urban area. In this study, a sensitivity analysis was carried out to investigate the possible influence of nearby explosion on the stability of underground structure with 8 parameters including explosion conditions and rock properties. From the sensitivity analysis using AUTODYN, the main and interaction effects of each parameters could be determined. From the analysis, it was found that the distance between explosion point and tunnel, charge weight, and Young's modulus are the most important parameters on the stress components around a tunnel.

Analytical Verification of Seismic Reinforcement Effect of Port Breakwater during Earthquake (지진시 항만 방파제의 내진보강 성능에 관한 해석적 검증)

  • As large-scale earthquakes have occurred in Korea and their aftermath continues to be felt, laws and regulations on seismic design have been emphasized, and in Korea, the seismic design standards have been newly revised after the Gyeongju earthquake. In the revised seismic design standards, a stability review for the destruction of the support activity of the breakwater was newly added. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a stability analysis on the seismic reinforcement method for the study site, and checked the ground acceleration of the subgrade and the displacement of the structure over time. As a result of the stability analysis, the safety factor increased by at least 0.5 and up to 1.7. As a result of the time history analysis, the displacement of the superstructure decreased by up to 290 mm and down to 12 mm in both the shallow and deep sections before and after reinforcement, and the ground acceleration decreased by up to 5.33 m/s and down to 0.31 m/s after reinforcement.

  • 최근 들어 WGS 반응은 Pt과 같은 귀금속 촉매를 다양한 담체에 담지하여 낮은 온도에서 높은 활성을 지닌 촉매를 제조하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. WGS 반응에서 귀금속 촉매가 높은 활성을 가지기 위해서 높은 산소저장능력(Oxygen Storage Capacity)과 산화환원능력(Redox)을 지닌 담체 개발이 필요하다. Ce-$ZrO_2$ 담체는 구조적으로 안정하며 높은 산소저장능을 가지고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. Ce-$ZrO_2$ 구조는 Ce/Zr 비에 따라 다양한 변화가 생긴다. Ce/Zr 비가 6/4, 8/2인 경우 입방구조(Cubic)를 가지며 2/8인 경우 정방입계(Tetragonal)구조를 가진다. 이것은 담체 특성의 변화를 의미한다. 따라서, WGS 반응용 최적 담체를 선정하기 위해 Ce/Zr 비를 제조변수로 하여 담체특성을 분석하였다. 제조된 모든 담체는 공침법(Co-precipitation)을 사용하여 제조하였으며 $500^{\circ}C$에서 6시간 소성하였다. 담체 특성분석은 BET, XRD를 이용하였다. 추가적으로 제조변수를 다양화하여 담체 제조를 마쳤으며 특성분석이 진행 중이다. 분석 결과 $Ce_{0.2}Zr_{0.8}O_2$ 담체가 가장 넓은 표면적을 가지고 있으며 Ce/Zr 비가 높아질수록 표면적이 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. Ce-$ZrO_2$ 담체의 나노결정크기는 Ce/Zr 비가 작아질수록 결정크기가 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며 $Ce_{0.2}Zr_{0.8}O_2$가 Ce-$ZrO_2$ 담체 중에서 가장 작은 결정크기를 나타내어 3nm 이하의 나노-담체가 제조되었음을 확인하였다.

Performance Measurement of Split PC Sleepers for Safety in Maintenance Work (분절형 PC침목의 안전성 확보를 위한 성능평가 시험)

  • In terms of the speed-up of the conventional line, the research for a improved turnout was carried out continually around world. A turnout is known that it is the most unstable equipment structurally in the rail system. So, the turnout is needed more stable structure. An accurate assembly of turnout affects traveling qualify of turnout area and running safety. Therefore, a turnout which is pre-assembled at a factory by using the split PC sleeper is transported to construction site recently in advanced countries. In this paper, the performance measurements which estimate the safety of the split PC sleepers which are adopted for the first time to improve performance of turnout are implemented indoors. The split PC sleeper is one of components of the improved turnout. The test is considered of the worst ballast condition under the maintenance work as like STT(Swithc Tie Tamper) or MTT(Multiple Tie Tamper). These experiments results indicate that structural safety for the expansion joint of the split PC sleepers.

Asymmetric distributed multi server architecture for efficient method of client connection process at online game servers (온라인게임 서버에서의 효율적인 클라이언트 접속 처리를 위한 비대칭 분산형 다중 서버 구조)

  • The online game system could be largely divided into two parts: servers and clients. Clients accesses to a game server and analyzes the packets transmitted from a server. A game server manages users information and database. U a game server allows a new client to access the server to execute a game, it should accept the access request of the new client maintaining the online connection of the existing users. In this paper, we compare Process method and Thread method within the multiple jobs process methods of a server. Then we propose an asymmetric distributed multi server architecture that is adequate to asymmetric distributed architecture that is widely applied to most game servers. The proposed asymmetric distributed multi server architecture includes login server, game server, communication server and database server to perform its own feature independently. Comparing its other architectures, it shows better performance economically and technically. Especially it improves the stability and expandability of a server.

Study on the characteristics of vias regarding forming method (다층유기물 기판 내에서의 Via 형성방법에 따른 전기적 특성 연구)

  • Passive Device는 RF Circuit을 제작할 때 많은 면적을 차지하고 있으며 이를 감소시키기 위해 여러 연구가 진행되고 있다. 최근 SoP-L 공정을 이용한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있는데 PCB 제작에 이용되는 일반적인 재료와 공정을 그대로 이용함으로써 개발 비용과 시간 면에서 많은 장점을 가지기 때문이다. SoP-L의 또 하나 장점은 다층구조를 만들기가 용이하다는 점이다. 각 층 간에는 Via를 사용하여 연결하게 되는데, RF Circuit은 회로의 구조와 물성에 따라 특성이 결정되며, 그만큼 Via를 썼을 때 그 영향을 생각해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 multi-layer LCP substrate에 다수의 Via를 chain 구조로 형성하여 전기적 특성을 확인하였다. Via가 70um 두께의 substrate를 관통하면서 상층과 하층의 Conductor을 연속적으로 연결하게 된다. 이 구조의 Resistance와 Insertion Loss를 측정하여, Via의 크기 별 수율과 평균적인 Resistance, RF 계측기로 재현성을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 공정에서의 안정성을 확보하고 Via의 크기와 도금방법에 의한 RF Circuit에서의 영향을 파악하여, 앞으로의 RF Device 개발에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다. 특히 유기물을 이용한 다층구조의 고주파 RF Circuit에 Via를 적용할 때의 영향을 설계에서부터 고려할 수 있는 자료가 될 것이다.

  • 우리나라는 정부의 전력시장 구조개편 계획에 의거 2001년부터 전력시장을 도입하도록 하는 결정에 따라 초기단계 전력시장을 운영하기 위한 "발전경쟁 (CBP Cost Based Pool)시스템"을 국내기술로 개발하여 현재까지 운영중에 있다. 또한 단계적인 시장도입 정책에 따라 2004년 4일부터 운영할 예정이었던 전력시장운영시스템(MOS : Market Operating System)은 정부의 도매전력시장 개설중단이란 정책변경으로 우수한 성능과 기능을 보유하고 있음에도 불구하고 활용이 불투명하기 도 하였으나, 2007년 세계최초로 발전경쟁시장시스템에 접목하여 MOS 상업운전을 개시하여 경제급전 효과를 극대화 할 수 있게 되었다. 경제급전 및 계통안정운영을 위한 MOS 시스템의 기능중 하나인 급전지시시스템(MX : Massage Exchange)은 미국 ABB사에서 개발하였던 초기의 기능은 매우 초보적인 단계로 단순히 5분 에너지 급전지시값만 전달하는 것으로서 국내 급전운영체계의 반영이 미흡하였다. 이에 따라, 2005년 국내기술로 초기 시스템을 개발한 이후 2007년에는 에너지 급전지시값 외에 보조서비스 데이터 제공 등의 성능 개선을 통해 중앙급전소 급전원, 현장 발전운전원 등에게 정확하고 신속한 계통운영관련 DATA를 실시간으로 제공하여, 계통운전에 활용함으로서 전력계통의 안정운영과 효율적인 시장운영에 많은 도움을 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같이 완벽한 계통운전의 실현과 효율적 시장운영에 중요한 요소로서 역할을 수행하고 있는 급전지시 시스템의 개요와 주요 내용에 대해 살펴보도록 하겠다.
