An Experimental Study on Sound Absorption characteristics of Porous Materials (다공성 흡음재의 흡음률에 영향을 주는 요소에 관한 고찰)

  • 다공성흡음재의 흡음률에 미치는 요소를 실험을 통하여 알아보았다. 흡음재의 두께, 밀도, 공기층, 표면처리, 흡음재의 조합 등에 따른 흡음률의 변화를 측정하였다. 공기층을 두고 시공하면 저역.중역에서의 흡음률이 현저히 증가하며, 유공판, 판상흡음재 등과 적절히 조합하면 보다 넓은 범위에서 좋은 흡음률을 갖게 됨을 알 수 있다. 또한 최대흡음률을 갖는 두께가 λ/4로 예상되지만, 흡음재의 구조에 따라 음의 경로의 유효길이가 늘어나 그보다 작은 두께일 것으로 예상된다.

  • 재접힘 고체상 재접힘은 높은 재현성을 보였으며 고체상 재접힘된 단백질은 Native와 같은 구조를 형성하였다. 따라서 이 연구는 고체상 재접힘 방법이 분자간의 상호작용을 억제하는 것이 응집현상을 탈피하게된 결과 일 것이라는 것에 의해 재접힘 수율을 높일 수 있다고 기대한다.

Static Redesign Techniques for Ship Structures (선체구조의 정적 재설계 기법)

  • In ship structural design procedures structural analyses are performed using the scantlings of structural elements determined at the initial design stage based on relevent rules and previous experiences. Modifications of scantlings will be carried out in case that the analysis results do nut satisfy design criteria. Reanalysis method s are efficient to analyse the structures of slightly modified using information obtained from the previous analysis. In this paper various approximate reanalysis techniques will be compared and their characteristics will be described. Furthermore sensitivity analyses are adapted to provide information from which selection of most influential design variables will be made and amount of modification can be determined. Redesign procedures described herein are demonstrated using examples.

  • In this study, we conducted a structural design and analysis of air intake of aircraft engine using composite materials. First, an investigation on structural design requirement of target structure was carried out. The distributed pressure load and acceleration condition was applied to structural design. To evaluate the structural design result, finite element analysis was carried out. The stress, deflection and buckling analysis for structural safety evaluation was performed. Finally, it was confirmed that the air intake through structural analysis is safety.

Wave Propagation in a Strip Plate with Longitudinal Stiffeners (보강재를 가진 무한길이 띠 평판의 진동해석)

  • It is important to understand the vibrating behavior of plate structures for its many engineering applications. In this study, the vibration characteristics of strip plates that have finite width and infinite length are investigated theoretically and numerically. The waveguide finite element(WFE) approach, which is an effective tool for studying waveguide structures, is used in this study. The WFE method requires only a cross-sectional finite element model, and uses theoretical harmonic solutions to assess wave propagation along the longitudinal direction. First, WFE results for a simple strip plate are compared with the theoretical results(i.e., dispersion diagrams and point mobilities) to validate the numerical model. Then, in the numerical analysis, different numbers of longitudinal stiffeners are included in the plate model to investigate the effects of stiffeners in terms of the dispersion curves and mobilities. Finally, the dispersion curves of a stiffened double plate are obtained to examine the characteristics of its wave propagation.

  • The purpose of this research is to develop a process and a system to collect, purify and reuse the residual quantity of trimethylgallium, used as a raw material, upon GaN epitaxial growth for LED from a metal organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD) equipment. This research reviews whether TMGa collected from the process can be used through a chemical and structural characteristics evaluation. As a result of analyzing the purity using ICP-MS and ICP-AES, 7N high purity (99.99999%) of TMGa was obtained. According to checking the structural change of TMGa through NMR analysis, TMGa having pure $(CH_3)_3Ga$ structure was obtained without structural change. For reliability review of the collected TMGa, u-GaN was deposited using the MOCVD process and an structural, optical and electrical characteristics evaluation was conducted. As a result, it was found out that the reuse was possible.

  • For stiffened plates composed of composite materials, many researchers have used a finite element method which connected isoparametric plate elements and beam elements. However, the finite element method is difficult to reflect local behavior of stiffener because beam elements are transferred stiffness for nodal point of plate elements, especially the application is limited in case of laminated composite structures. In this paper, for analysis of laminated composite stiffened plates, 3D shell elements for stiffener and plate are employed. Reissner-Mindlin's first order shear deformation theory is considered in this study. But when thickness will be thin, isoparamatric plate bending element based on the theory of Reissner-Mindlin is generated by transverse shear locking. To eliminate the shear locking and virtual zero energy mode, the substitute shear strain field is used. A deflection distribution is investigated for simple supported rectangular and skew stiffened laminated composite plates with arbitrary orientation stiffener as not only variation of slenderness and aspect ratio of the plate but also variation of skew angle of skew stiffened plates.

Detailed-information Browsing Technology based on Level of Detail for 3D Cultural Asset Data (3D 문화재 데이터의 LOD 기반 상세정보 브라우징 기술)

  • In this paper, we propose the new method that offer detailed-information through relax the system memory limitation about 3D model to user. That method based on making LOD(Level of Detail) model from huge 3D data of structure cultural assets. In our method as transformed AOSP algorithm, first of all it create the hierarchical structure space about 3D data, and create the LOD model by surface simplification. Then it extract the ROI(Region of Interest) of user in simplified LOD model, and then do rendering by original model and same surface detailed-information after process the local detailed in extracted region. To evaluate the proposed method, we have some experiment by using the precise 3D scan data of structure cultural assets. Our method can offer the detailed-information same as exist method, and moreover 45% reduced consumption of memory experimentally by forming mesh structure same as ROI of simplified LOD model. So we can check the huge structure cultural assets particularly in general computer environment.

  • Lattice girder is a new steel support developed in Europe for the replacement of an existing H-shaped steel set, which is installed after tunnel excavation. Lattice girder has the following several advantages : 1. Lattice girder minimizes the amount of shotcrete shadow which happens to occur behind a steel support. 2. A triangular shape of lattice girder makes shotcrete placed efficiently. 3. Lattice girder provides a good bond strength for shotcrete, which makes the composite structure of lattice girder and shotcrete behave monolithic, and therefore, the rock load can be supported effectively by the lattice girder system, This paper presents the results from a model wall test, a strength test for shotcrete shot on the model wall and a strength test for the bond between lattice girder and shotcrete. These tests proved that lattice-girder system is superior to H-shaped steel-set system concerning the shotcrete rebound rate, the developed shotcrete strength and the adhesion characteristics.

  • Shotcrete concrete is generally used in the form of ready-mixed concrete products using type I ordinary portland cement(hereinafter referred to as OPC) and about 5% of accelerator mixed separately in the field. In this study, we tested the effect of addition of slag powder(SP) and limestone powder(LSP) on a penetration resistance, compressive strength of binder for shotcrete using calcium aluminate type accerlerator. And we analysed hydrates and pore structure effects on mortar performance. In the future, it is expected to be useful for manufacturing optimized composite cement as a binder for shotcrete.
