  • Since smartphone market got matured, market size and penetration rate are decreased. But smartphone is still one of most important daily commodities today. These days, most important issue about smartphone is the government regulation of subsidies. Therefore how smartphone subsidies marketing and government regulation affect purchasing intention and furthermore advise on government policy is the purpose of this research. In terms of characteristic of smartphone, this research analysed functional characteristic, service characteristic, and economical characteristic studied previously. And also studied about how government regulation affects purchasing intention on the group agrees regulation. As a result, functionality, price and converting cost has significant relationship with purchase intention, but government regulation on subsidies doesn't.

  • This study analyzes the purchase subsidy for electric light-duty vehicles in terms of environmental benefits and total cost of ownership(TCO). For the environmental benefits, we considered the emissions from the power generation mix and reflected the change in efficiency of electric vehicles according to the temperature distribution. The environmental benefits of driving electric vehicles were estimated to be between KRW 2.2 million and KRW 5.3 million. Also, the TCO of electric vehicles compared to diesel vehicles under the current purchase subsidy was estimated to be about KRW 3.6 million lower for business use and about KRW 6.6 million lower for non-business use. These results imply that it is reasonable to lower the unit price of the purchase subsidy even within the same budget. Moreover, the remaining budget could be better spent on upgrading the charging infrastructure, which would reduce the inconvenience of charging for potential buyers.

  • Recently, with the rapid expansion of the mobile phone, such as the high price of the smartphone is being constantly handset subsidies at issue in the social harm caused by excessive competition in the mobile communications market. In this research, we aim to analyze factors influencing of the policy to subsidy regulatory on decision to continue purchasing intention of consumers. Predictor factors were selected the perceived usefulness, the perceived ease of use and the policy to subsidy regulatory on the previous study. Participants of this study be going to 200 mobile users in Busan Gyeongnam and Jeonbuk province in accordance with convenience sampling. IBM SPSS Statistics 19 were employed for descriptive statistics, Smart PLS(partial least squares) was employed for confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis of casual relationship among variables and effect. This study suggests practical and theoretical implications based on the results.

  • The implication of this study is that the development and market participation of the next generation eco - friendly vehicles is accelerating, and consumers 'interest is increasing. Also, the product attributes of environment - friendly vehicles and the government's policy support for the next generation eco - friendly vehicles. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of purchasing behavior of eco-friendly vehicles on the product attributes of eco-friendly vehicles. Economic, image, functionality, and service convenience have positive effects on consumers' purchase intention. As a result of examining the moderating effect of the government support policy between the product attributes of environment - friendly vehicles and the purchase intentions of environment - friendly vehicles, the government or municipal government has no control effect such as vehicle price subsidy, vehicle tax subsidy, Carbon tax support to prevent emissions was found to have a moderating effect of supporting 10,000 won per ton, even if 5,000 won per ton was supported. This suggests that consumers who prefer to buy eco-friendly vehicles are more likely to have environmental factors.

  • This study aims at understanding the fundamental characteristics of EV consumer based upon user survey and understanding the challenges to promote EV adoption in Korea. Data are obtained from two different surveys. One asked 304 EV buyers in Korea and another asked 905 prospective customer about EV awareness and perception, EV purchase intention, and etc. Analysis is composed of two parts; one is about the general characteristics and purchase intention of general consumers; another is about the intent to repurchase EV owners. We discuss the policy implications to expand EV demand in Korean market based on two purchase and repurchase logit models.

  • In this study, it investigates the highly controversial issue "low carbon car subsidy". Through the policy's intent, purpose, and necessity, it aims to present alternatives for automotive industry development. Introducing the low carbon car subsidy will bring a huge change to the vehicle purchase practices by changing vehicle purchase cost. It expects that this change will reduce greenhouse gas emission from vehicles. For successful settlement of the system, it shall set up the target sections for subsidy and levy appropriately in order to get the nation's consensus. Additionally, it has to conduct sufficient reviews the measures such as adjustment to the existing auto tax, divided payments of burden charge, etc before enforcing the system. In terms of the automobile industry, it must do their level best in technical development in order to meet the carbon dioxide emission level of imported cars until the enforcement. Also, the government has to strengthen its support to the industry.

  • The electric vehicle is a representative measure to reduce greenhouse gas and local air pollutants in the transportation sector. Most countries provide purchase subsidies and tax reductions to promote electric vehicle sales. The electric vehicles have been considered as zero-emission vehicles(ZEV) in light of the fact that there has been no pollutant emission during driving. However, recent studies have pointed out that the pollutant emitted from the process of generating electricity used for charging the electric vehicles need to be treated as emissions of the electric vehicles. Furthermore, the environmental benefits of electric vehicle replacing the internal combustion vehicle vary with the power mix. In line with the recent studies, this study analyzes the impact of electric vehicles based on the current power mix and future energy transition scenarios in Korea. To estimate the precise air pollutants emission profile, this study uses hourly electricity generation and TMS emission data for each power plant from 2015 to 2016. The estimation results show that the electric vehicles under the current power mix generate the environmental benefits of only -0.41~10.83 won/km. Also, we find that the environmental benefit of electric vehicle will significantly increase only when the ratio of the coal-fired power plant is reduced to a considerable extent.

  • The global warming problem has arose, the supply eco-friendly vehicles such as HFCEVs is increasing around world and Korea is fully supporting subsidies, tax cut to form an initial market for HFCEVs. The key to the safety of HFCEVs is pressure vessels stored hydrogen, and although these pressure vessels must be inspection regularly, the existing inspection stations are insufficient to meet the demand for inspection. Therefore, it is important to establishment of pressure vessels inspection station for safety management of HFCEVs. In this study, it estimates innovation coefficient, imitation coefficient in Bass model by using electric vehicle sales data, and foretasted the supply of HFCEVs by region & the demand for inspection by region using the Bass diffusion model. As a result, the inspection demand for pressure vessels in HFCEVs in 2040 was 690,759 units, and it was confirmed 191 new inspection stations and 1,124 inspectors were needed to prepare for this.
