  • This paper considers the integrated process control procedure for detecting special causes in an ARIMA(0,1,1) process that is being adjusted automatically after each observation using a minimum mean squared error adjustment policy. It is assumed that a special cause can change the process mean and the process variance. We derive expressions for the process deviation from target for a variety of different process parameter changes, and introduce a control chart, based on the generalized likelihood ratio, for detecting special causes. We also propose the integrated process control scheme bases on the future loss. The future loss denotes the cost that will be incurred in a process remaining interval from a true out-of-control signal.

  • This paper considers the integrated process control procedure for detecting special causes in an IMA(1,1) process that is being adjusted automatically after each observation using a minimum mean squared error adjustment policy. When the control chart signals after the occurrence of a special cause, the special cause will be detected and eliminated from the process by the rectifying action. However, when the elimination of the special cause costs high or is not practically possible, an alternative action is to readjust the process with appropriately modified adjustment scheme. In this paper, we propose the readjustment procedure after having a true signal, and show that the use of the readjustment can reduce the deviation of a process from the target.

  • This paper considers the multivariate integrated process control procedure for detecting special causes in a multivariate IMA(1, 1) process. When the multivariate control chart signals, the special cause will be detected and eliminated from the process. However, when the elimination of the special cause costs high or is not practically possible, an alternative action is to readjust the process with approximately modified adjustment scheme. In this paper, we propose the readjustment procedure after having a true signal, and show that the use of the readjustment can reduce the deviation of a process from the target.

Convergence study of oral-related quality of life and changes in oral health behavior in adult patients before and after correction using the Daily Activity Oral Impact Index (OIDP) (일상활동구강영향지수(OIDP)를 이용한 성인환자의 교정전후 구강관련 삶의 질과 구강보건행동 변화의 융합적 연구 (20대를 중심으로))

  • The present study surveyed 300 adults who completed orthodontic treatment to determine their oral health-related quality of life and changes in oral health behavior in orthodontic patients. The collected data is analyzed using the spss 22.0 program. Before orthodontic treatment, social factors (4.68) had the lowest associated quality of life score, and after orthodontic treatment, socially related quality of life showed the highest increase at 3.72 points. Changes in oral health behavior showed that many phosphorus scaling increased by 1.28 points after correction compared to before correction. As oral health quality of life and oral health behavior have changed through orthodontic treatment, dental professionals need to take appropriate management of each patient's individual quality through health education. Appropriate management needs to be developed.

  • This study was to explore ex-offender's social readjustment based on the perceptions of correctional professionals and correctional counselors. For the study, 10 correctional professionals were interviewed including university professors majoring in criminology, judges of family court, various correctional workers and 8 correctional counselors responsible for counseling of ex-offender's in the Korea Rehabilitation Agency. The interviews were analyzed using content analysis procedures proposed by Krippendorff(2003). The results were composed of 5 spheres, 15 dimensions, 36 categories, and 77 meaning contents. With regard to social readjustment experiences of ex-offender's, domains such as 'education', 'psychotherapy', 'employment and job search', 'service, culture and leisure', and 'social and national support' were drawn from the analyses. Based on the results of this study, significance and implications were presented.

  • Objectives: This study investigated whether the impacts of orthodontic treatment of malocclusion on oral health-related quality of life and happiness are positive with middle and high school students Methods: Subjects were 157 orthodontic patients and 83 non-orthodontic in malocclusion patients. Questionnaires were collected with the self-administered method, and consisted of the general characteristics, self-esteem, social support appraisal scale(friends, family, teacher), Oral Impact on Daily Performance (OIDP) and oxford happiness questionnaire (OHQ). Results: A physical factor was lower in the orthodontic treatment group ($5.8{\pm}2.48$) than in the non-orthodontic treatment group ($7.7{\pm}2.10$)(p<0.001), and OIDP was lower in the orthodontic treatment group ($7.0{\pm}1.79$) than in the non-orthodontic treatment group ($7.8{\pm}1.80$)(p=0.002). A feeling of happiness was higher in the orthodontic treatment group($4.6{\pm}0.81$) than in the orthodontic treatment group ($4.3{\pm}0.89$) (p=0.009). As results of multiple regression analysis, OIDP was affected of orthodontic treatment(${\beta}=-0.0222$, p=0.001) and OHP was affected of orthodontic treatment(${\beta}=0.087$, p=0.030) and OIDP(${\beta}=0.116$, p=0.003). Conclusions: Orthodontic treatment of malocclusion may positively affects happiness in teenager. Support policy for orthodontic treatment of malocclusion is necessary for adolescents.

  • This study was performed to analyze the preference about horticultural activities and plants which is the basis of the horticultural therapy program development in prisoner who release from prison is expected. The analysis show that respondents were the most in male, thirty, less than high school, fraud, Christianity. More than 70% of respondents recognize that providing horticultural therapy for correction and rehabilitation program was desirable. More than 60% of respondents want to participate in the horticultural therapy for correction and rehabilitation program. Respondents who hadn't have experience for horticultural activities were the most, they preferred 'Plant appreciation such as walking, field trip, journey' mostly, and then 'Plant cultivation at indoor and outdoor', 'Decoration and craft with plant'. The most preferred plant was ornamental plant, and orchid in ornamental plant, fruit vegetable and tomato in fruit vegetable.
