KOREA STAR AWARDS 2014 (지상전시 - 제8회 미래 패키징 신기술 정부 포상 수상작)

  • 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국생산기술연구원이 주관하는 "제8회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상"시상식이 이번 달 10일 일산 킨텍스 그랜드볼룸에서 열린다. 미래지식산업인 패키징산업 종사자의 긍지와 자부심 함양의 계기를 실천하고, 패키징산업 종사자의 사기진작과 패키징산업 활성화를 도모하기 위해 매년 진행되고 있는 미래패키징신기술 정부포상은 패키징산업 기술인의 기술개발 의욕을 고취하고 패키징산업 기술성과 및 산업발전 기여도에 대한 정부포상를 실현하며 패키징산업 종사자간 정보교류 극대화 및 공동체 의식 함양으로 일체감을 조성시켜왔다는 평가를 받고 있다. 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상은 기업부문 및 학생부문, 그리고 공로부문으로 나누어 수상자를 선정, 진행되고 있다. 기업부문은 패키징 완제품, 친환경패키징, 패키징관련기계(설비) 및 관련부품, 패키징인쇄(라벨링), 패키징원부자재 생산 및 가공공정, 패키징디자인 등의 분야에서 신기술 개발 또는 개선으로 수출신장, 매출 수익 증대 및 발명특허 획득을 통해 패키징 기술력 발전에 기여한 기업의 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 하고 있으며, 학생부문은 패키징 디자인 관련분야 전공자로 패키징과 연관된 컨셉으로 상품성, 창의성, 표현성, 친환경성, 지속가능성 등이 어우러진 독창적인 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 진행하고 있다. 또한 공로부문은 패키징 산업 관련 산업계, 학계, 연구계, 유관기관에 종사하는 자로서 패키징 관련 핵심 기술개발, 경영, 마케팅 면에서 패키징 산업 발전에 기여한 공적이 뚜렷한 자, 패키징산업발전 정책연구 및 패키징산업 육성에 기여한 기업 또는 개인을 대상으로 하고 있다. 제8회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상 심사 결과 (주)연우의 'One Material Pump-Bellows'를 비롯 총 4개사가 산업통상자원부 장관상 수상자로 선정됐으며, 공로부문에서는 (사)한국포장협회의 한용교 명예회장((재)한용교장학재단 이사장)과 김형빈 한국공업포장협회 부설 수송포장기술연구소 소장이 수상자로 선정됐다. 본 고에서는 수상작 및 수상자들의 활약상을 살펴보도록 한다.

Exploring Ways to Improve Operation on the System of Administrative Executive Staffs (행정실무사 제도의 효율적인 운영을 위한 개선 방안 탐구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the ways for effective operation of System of Administrative Executive Staffs(SAES) by analyzing the perception of teachers and Administrative Executive Staffs(AES). To do so, FGI was used on teachers and AES, in Gyeonggi-do. As a result, teachers and AES agreed with SAES' management and positively evaluated SAES' performance in diminishing teachers' administrative duties. AES classified methods of works-division into 'one-way', 'voluntary', 'discussion' and distinguished 'trivial-works' from 'support-teaching works'. SAES's positive outcomes were strengthening teachers' competencies, establishing AES's identity, changing school atmosphere to focused-instruction. But there were also problems as workload sharing's ambiguity, absence of system for workload-share, poor competencies of members, lack of communication among members, etc. Several ways for the successive operation of SAES are as follows; principal's understanding and positive mind on SAES, offering manual of work-division reflecting the school's real condition, teachers' consideration on AES, offering proper training by considering one's ability.

An Analysis and the Improvement of Jeju Self-Governing School Policy (제주형 자율학교 정책 분석 및 발전방향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze comprehensively Jeju Self-Governing School Policy (JSSP) by using the four dimensional views of policy theory frame and to suggest its improvements. The results are as follows: First, JSSP should improve differentiation of curriculum and locality centered on local basis, wide application of the special laws, and professional accountability. Second, JSSP should improve the policy structure of educational governance and differentiated standard of students achievement assessment, resolve equity issue, and secure the self-finance of the schools. Third, JSSP should improve localization of educational administration, administrative and financial support for teachers, parent's empowerment, and students understanding of the policy, and expand principal invitation system, Fourth, JSSP should improve public relations, the roles of the Council and professionalism of assessors, and adopt efficiency approach into the assessment system.

  • This study examines how disability pride of people having acquired visual impairment can be constructed. The theme is explored with the Japanese TV drama "Challenged". The paradigms regarding construction of disability pride and acceptance of disability are fundamentally different. In this context it can be said that a criticism of disability acceptance theory has something with a criticism of medical model of disability. It is main character Hanawa and chairman of teachers, and principal who were noticeable specifically at the point of forming disability pride, and these characters show a common feature that social idealism is embodied in their awareness. Other characters of the drama show a change of their consciousness to social idealism. As a conclusion this study suggests importances of humanistic and social scientific analysis as well as of educational effects achieved by means of drama.

천연기념물 제395호 진주 가진리 새발자국과 공룡발자국 화석산지의 새로운 해석

  • 천연기념물 제395호 진주 가진리 새발자국과 공룡발자국 화석산지는 1997년 5월 20일, 경남과학교육원 신축 공사장에서 당시 경남과학고등학교 교사로 근무하던 백광석(현재 서상중고등학교 교장)에 의해 최초로 발견되어, 수 백 점의 새발자국 화석과 공룡발자국 화석들이 학계에 알려지게 되었다. 지금까지도 세계 여러나라의 중생대 새 발자국 중에서 가장 밀도가 높은 화석산지로 손꼽히고 있으며 많은 학자들의 관심을 받고 있다. 이곳의 지질은 백악기 하양층군 함안층 하부의 적색 이암 또는 셰일과 사암의 호층으로 구성되어 있고, 새발자국 화석들은 적색 이암에서 발견된다. 현재, 이 화석산지는 경남과학교육원 건물 내부에 위치하고 있으며, '화석문화재전시관'이라는 명칭으로 보호 및 관리되고 있기때문에 자연재해와 풍화에 의한 침식을 1차적으로 막고 있다. 이 화석산지는 우리나라에서는 천연기념물 제394호 해남 우항리 화석산지와 함께 현장을 그대로 보존하면서 화석의 보존과 관리를 동시에 할 수 있는 건물을 지어 자연사교육을 진행할 수 있는 곳으로 많은 학생들을 대상으로 우리나라의 소중한 화석을 직접 관찰하고 학습하는 체험교육이 가능하다. 원격조종카메라 시스템을 활용하여 관람객이 직접 자신이 원하는 발자국 화석을 세부적으로 관찰할 수 있게 장치한 interactive system은 과학교육 효과를 증진시킨다. 선행 연구에 의하면, 본 화석산지에서 익룡의 발자국 화석(KS 071)도 공룡이나 새발자국과 같은 층리면에서 서로 겹쳐서 나타난다고 보고되었으나, 본 연구에 의해 다시 조사된 결과 전형적인 익룡의 발자국 화석에서 보이는 분명한 특징들을 발견할 수 없었다. 물갈퀴를 가진 새발자국 가운데에서 Uhangrichnus chuni 와 Jindongornipes kimi 로 기재된 표본들에 대하여서도 새롭게 분석하였다. Uhangrichnus chuni로 기재된 많은 표본들은 II-IV번 발가락 사이의 각, 물갈퀴의 형태, 뚜렷한 hallux 등의 형태적 특징을 근거로 할 때, 대부분이 Ignotorinis yangi로 판단된다. Jindongornipes kimi로 기재된 표본들은 이미 기재된 표본보다 크기가 적어도 10%-25%가 작으며, II-IV번 발가락 사이의 각에서 차이를 보인다.

  • Due to the rapid development of semiconductor technology, the complexity of VLSI circuits has heavily increased. With the increased densities of integrated circuits, several different types of faults can occur Thus, testing such circuits is becoming a sever problem. Delay testing can detect system timing failures caused by delay faults. However, the conventional delay fault coverage in terms of the number of detected faults may not be an effective measure of delay testing because, unlike a stuck-at-faults, the impact of a delay fault is dependent on its delay defect size rather than on its existence. Thus, the effectiveness of delay testing is dependent on the propagation delay of the path to be tested, the delay defect size, and the system clock interval. This paper proposes a new delay defect fault coverage that considers both propagation delay of the path to be tested and additional delay defect size. And the relationship between delay defect fault coverage and defect level is analyzed.

The Satisfaction and View of Elementary and Secondary School Leaders Participated in the In-service Training for Creative Leadership (창의 미래교육 리더십 강화 직무연수에 참여한 초·중등학교 관리자의 만족도 및 효과성 분석)

  • Though school leaders play a crucial role in encouraging the creative school environment, culture, and system that might improve the creative competencies of teachers, there has been little attention to the creative leadership of school supervisors. In this paper, we provide the satisfaction and view of elementary and secondary school leaders who were involved in professional development training for enhancing creative leadership. Using one-way ANOVA and qualitative data coding, we analyze the survey responses from the 67 in-service principals and vice-principals during three different training periods as 2020-I, 2020-II, and 2021-I. We present and compare the result on their satisfaction in terms of satisfaction regarding the process, administrative supports, and optional programs among the training. Next, we explore how the school administrators think the creative leadership training and proposal for its improvement. Based on the feedback for these stakeholders, further studies need to steadily enhance the professional development training for creative leadership and practical program contents.

Evaluative Study of Solar School Project in Kenya and Uganda (솔라스쿨 활용 교육 지원 사업 평가 연구 : 케냐와 우간다의 사례)

  • To evaluate the achievements of the Solar School Project that has been implemented in twelve African countries since 2013, a case study was implemented in Kenya and in Uganda to investigate networking activities, student accessibility to computers, the frequency of student computer use, the extent to which teaching quality was improved by the enhanced accessibility to ICT-based teaching and learning practices. The results showed the followings. First, Solar Schools have significantly improved the rates of enrollment, transferring, and school attendance. Second, Solar Schools have organized local and invitational training programs to build the capacities of teachers. Third, Solar Schools have facilitated change in neighboring schools and local communities. Fourth, the participants are required to have a clear vision, take ownership of the project, and make a commitment to continuing their individual efforts toward empowerment.

Effect of Juvenile Hormone Analog Manina on Silkworm, Bombyx Mori L. II. Varietal Differences in Cocoon Productivity of the Leading Silkworm Varieties by Topical Application of Juvenile Hormone Analog "Manina". (유약 홀몬에 관한 연구 II. 장려 잠품종에 대한 합성유약홀몬 "마니나"의 증견효과)

  • Since 1966, practical use of active heavy analogs of the hormones has been also worked out as an insecticide and brought the features of it to the light as cocoon producer. On the other hand, it is expected to afford the increase of silk productivity resulted from control of the fifth larval period by delaying normal development. With these regards, some of analogs have been tried to apply practically to the silkworm for an increase of cocoon productivity. One of the synthesized juvenile hormone available is "Manina". And it is presently used for the increase of silk productivity in Korea. For the practical use, it is very essential the varietal differences in the increase of silk productivity by topical application was tested and the obtained results are summarized as follows. 1. It was evident that the fifty larval period was extended by topical application after 48 hrs. of the last ecdysis, ranging from 8 hrs. to one day, as compared to the control. 2. In pupal rates, there is no significance between control and treatments. It proved that there was no toxicity to silkworm by topical application in general, except jam 120. With regards to an increase of cocoon yield in Japanese, it was resulted from 17∼24% of cocoon yield from 10,000 larvae, as compared to that of control. In case of Chinese, the incrasing rates were varied from 15∼26% of cocoon yield, 17.8kg of it with 26% increase for Jam 122 and 16.7kg of it with 25% increase for Jam 118. In case of all hybrids, an increase of the cocoon yield took places from 20% to 31% and the weight of cocoon layer for the Japanese increased by 6 to 14%, those for the Chinese by 4 to 7% and those for the hybrids ranged from 21 to 29% increase. 3. It was recognized that the hybrid vigor rate took places with the hybrids between high responsing parents to juvenile hormones.

Current status of dietary education in elementary, middle and high school in Gyeonggi province: Comparison according to school level and placement of nutrition teacher (경기도 초·중·고등학교의 식생활 교육 현황 : 학교급 및 영양교사 배치여부에 따른 비교)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of dietary education carried out by dieticians or nutrition teachers at elementary, middle, and high schools in Gyeonggi province. We compared dietary education status not only among school level but also between dieticians and nutrition teachers. Methods: The survey using self-administered questionnaires was conducted by dieticians or nutrition teachers at 91 schools (43 elementary schools, 33 middle schools, and 15 high schools) in Gyeonggi province in December, 2015. The questionnaire consisted of questions regarding general characteristics of respondents, current status of dietary education, opinion about dietary education methods, and cooperation level of persons concerned. Results: The placement rate of nutrition teachers was 50.5% overall. Only 36 out of 91 schools conducted regular dietary education, and the percentage of schools conducting regular dietary education was significantly different according to school level with the lowest percentage in high schools, equivalent to 20% (p = 0.003). The average annual dietary education time was 12.4 hours, and it was very low in high schools (5.1 hours) and in schools without a nutrition teacher (1.6 hours). The levels of cooperation and support from principals, teachers, parents, and students were significantly lower in high schools than elementary and middle schools (all p < 0.001) and in schools without a nutrition teacher than schools with a nutrition teacher (all p < 0.05). Conclusion: The results show that the level of dietary education is not enough and needs to be improved, especially at middle and high schools and at schools without a nutrition teacher. Government support polices need to be implemented to encourage dietary educational activities.
