초등학교 수학교육에서 개방형 학습법이 수학적 창의력에 미치는 효과

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 수학교육에서 개방형 학습법이 수학적 창의력에 미치는 효과를 분석함으로써 수학적 창의력을 신장시킬 수 있는 수학 교수-학습법을 찾는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 초등학교 4학년 2개 반을 선정하여 한 반은 실험집단으로 하고 다른 반은 비교집단으로 하여 실험 연구를 실시하였다. 실험집단은 개방형 학습법에 의한 수업을 전개하였고, 비교집단은 일반적인 수업을 전개하였다. 그 결과로서, 오직 답이 하나로 제한되고 닫힌 통상적인 문제가 아니라 결과가 하나로 결정되지 않는 문제상황을 제재로 하여 거기에 내재하는 결과의 다양성을 적극적으로 이용하는 개방형 학습법에 의한 수업이 일반적인 수업보다 수학적 창의력 향상에 있어서 더 효과적이며, 수학적 창의력 신장에 미치는 효과에서 남 ${\cdot}$ 여간에 차이가 없이 남과 여 집단에서 모두 효과가 있었다.

The Impact of the Development Process of an Integrated Science Program on Pre-service Teachers Learning Motivation and Group Intelligence: A Focus on Values and Integration with Software (통합과학 프로그램 개발과정이 예비교사의 학습동기 및 집단지성에 미치는 영향: 가치관과 소프트웨어 접목을 중심으로)

  • This study investigated the impact on pre-service teachers during the development of an integrated science education program, emphasizing group intelligence, values, and software application in response to societal demands. The results revealed several key findings. Firstly, the development of an integrated science education program utilizing group intelligence enhanced the learning motivation of pre-service teachers, particularly demonstrating improvements during the implementation phase. Secondly, the group intelligence-based development of the integrated science education program cultivated the group intelligence competence of pre-service teachers, manifesting positive effects throughout the entire process of program development, demonstration, and feedback. Thirdly, it was evident that the integration of software and individual values into science curriculum requires specialized support.

Analysis Effects for Cyber Group Consultation Using Video Based System (화상교육 시스템을 이용한 사이버 집단 상담의 효과 분석)

  • In this paper, we carry out a cyber group consultation by means of the video-based education system, and verify the effects. For the verification of this study, two assumptions were set up. These assumptions were inspected by selecting 45 students of D elementary school located in a big city, and coming up with a test utilizing one of video-based education systems. Following up, a self-respect test form and a questionnaire were made to verify of the group consultation to the video-based education system, and by analyzing the test form and the questionnaire, the conclusion of this study was finally drawn. The conclusion gained through the process adove is as follows: It turned out that real-time video-based cyber group consultation promoted self-respect and enthusiastic participation of consulters as well as formed emotinal stability and a close affinity between the consultant and the consulter through active interaction. The results of this video-based education system operation will be helpful to broaden the area of elementary school cyber group consultation. Further, it is thought that it will contribute to the basic investigation to verify the educational effects of Multi-point imaging system in the run-up to the operation of full-scale real-time video-based education systems.

A Pychoeducational Group Intervention for Women with Primary Breast Carcinoma (유방암 환자에 대한 심리교육 집단개입의 효과)

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effect of a psycho-educational group intervention in reducing psychologic distress and enhancing coping in Korean breast cancer patients. The patient selection criteria were age younger than 70 years, having any postoperative adjuvant therapy, and surgery undergone within the previous 12 months as of the start of the study and there were 70 patients eligible for this criteria. They were randomized into three groups; experimental group(24 patients), wait-list control group(24 patients) and wait-list group(36 patients). We conducted a 8-week, structured, psychosocial group intervention, which used psycho-educational strategies combining education and psychological support. Subjects were assessed for psychological distress and coping by administering the Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) and the Ways of Coping Checklist-Revised(WCCL-R) at the baseline and after 8 weeks. Forty eight patients were participated and thirty five patients completed the study. The experimental group had significantly lower scores than the controls for depression on the BDI(p=.012) after 8-week intervention. However, coping did not show a significant difference on WCCL-R after the intervention. Despite of some limitations, the results of this study suggest that a short term psychosocial group intervention produces a significant improvement in the quality of life of patients with primary breast carcinoma in Korea in terms of managing depression.

탐구학습을 통한 고등학교 학생들의 수학태도와 창의성 변화 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 고등학교 학생을 대상으로 탐구학습 과정에서 수학적 태도와 수학 창의성에 어떤 변화가 일어나는지를 살펴보았으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문제해결방법에 탐구학습을 투여한 학습집단은 일반 학습집단보다 수학 창의성에 있어서 유의미한 효과를 보였다(p<.05). 둘째, 탐구학습 집단과 일반학습 집단의 수학적 태도는 사전 및 사후의 두 검사에서 모두 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다(p<.05).

  • 본 연구의 목적은 개방형 교수법에 의한 수업이 수학적 문제해결력과 신념 형성에 미치는 효과를 분석함으로써 수학 교수방법의 개선에 도움을 주는 데 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 연구 결과는 첫째, 개방형 수업 집단과 일반적 수업 집단간에 문제해결력에 있어서 유의미한 차이가 있었으며, 둘째, 개방형 수업 집단과 일반적 수업 집단간에 수학적 신념에 있어서도 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여, 개방형 교수법에 의한 수업은 일반적 수업보다 문제해결력 및 수학적 신념 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 교수법임을 시사한다.

The Effect of Flipped-PBL on the Communication and Problem Solving Skills (Flipped-PBL이 대학생의 문제해결능력과 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was explored the effect of Flipped PBL on Communication and Problem Solving skill of University students. For study, students in the college of education at A University and S University located in Gyeonggi-do were set up 60 students. They majored in Christian education and early childhood education, and the level of education was similar in the same region and department. In the experiment, the comparison group and the experimental group were separated, and data were collected through pre-test before class and post-test after class, followed by analysis covariance(ANCOVA). Between the comparative group performing flipped learning and the experimental group performing flipped PBL, the problem solving ability and communication ability using the flipped PBL averaged 4.28 and the communication ability averaged 4.06. As a result, it was higher than each of the comparison groups, confirming that it had a significant effect. This will be able to present a flipped PBL class design as an alternative method to overcome the limitations of the existing flip learning in a changing classroom situation and to improve the communication and problem solving ability of the learner.

The Affects on Science-Related Attitudes of Children's Pass or Failure for Admission to a Science Education Institute for the Gifted (과학영재교육원 합격 여부가 초등학생들의 과학 관련 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine: (a) whether there was a difference on science-related attitudes between children's accepted and those not for admission to a science education institute for the gifted; (b) whether the children's success or not effects their science-related attitudes. To do those, 138 fourth graders participated in the study. The data showed as follows: First, successful applicant group (N=15) had a little more positive attitudes than unsuccessful applicants group (N=119) on science-related attitudes test. However, no significant differences between the two groups were found; Second, the effects of pass or failure for entrance examination on science-related attitudes were not revealed in unsuccessful applicant group (N=42) as well as in successful applicant group (N=15), in comparison with each group's pretest scores (on day for entrance examination) and posttest scores (after a lapse of 3 months).

  • To extend the potential benefits of error, the current study examined factors that affect students' error perception in the classroom. An experimental design was used to measure relations of classroom goal structure, feedback, and social relationships on students' perception of error. A total of 316 fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade elementary students participated as part of their regular class curriculum. Self-reported questionnaires were administered to measure students' perception of errors and relationships with teacher and peers, and then students were manipulated by classroom goal structure and feedback. Multiple regression analysis results suggested that students' perception of learning from error was affected mostly by relationships with peers, followed by relationships with teacher and the type of feedback. Students' perception of risk taking for error was also affected by relationships with peers and teacher, followed by the classroom goal structure. However, classroom goal structure and feedback did not affect their perception of thinking about error to improve their learning as well as error strain. These results imply how the classroom climate should be structured to improve perception of errors to improve student's learning.

Analysis of the Computer Proficiency of the College Freshmen (대학 신입생의 컴퓨터 기초소양 비교 분석)

  • 제7차 컴퓨터 교육과정에 대한 많은 논란과 개선방안이 제기되어 왔지만 경험한 교육과정을 대상으로 성취수준에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 2005년도에 대학 신입생을 대상으로 실행했던 컴퓨터 소양 교육과정을 개선하기 위하여 2005년도와 2006년도의 신입생을 대상으로 연차별로 컴퓨터 소양과 활용수준 그리고 양 집단간의 수준 차이를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 2005년도에 개발된 설문지 사용하여 각 학기가 시작되는 시점에서 학생들의 응답을 분석하였다. 설문자료를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 두 집단 모두 다섯가지의 영역에서 영역간의 수준의 차이가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 컴퓨터통신, 기초기능 그리고 정보윤리 보통 이상의 수준을 보였으며, 반면에 기초지식과 소프트웨어 활용 영역에서 보통 이하의 수준으로 나타났다. 두 집단간의 연차별 수준 차이는 거의 없는 것으로 보였다. 컴퓨터통신과 정보윤리 영역에서 미미하나마 2005년도에 비하여 평균이 약간 증가하였으며, 나머지 세 개의 소프트웨어 활용과 기초지식 및 기초기능 영역에서는 각각의 평균이 0.05 이하의 차이를 보이고 있다. 대학 신입생의 컴퓨터 소양교육을 위한 두 집단간의 연차별 선수 지식의 수준차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다.
