  • This study analyzed the 6th grade elementary science textbook 'Science stories' reading process of students by utilizing eye movement tracking techniques. Participants read 3 articles in the new experimental science textbooks and solved 9 problems about each article. By understanding and academic achievement results, participants were divided into high-groups, middle-groups, and low-groups. The results of eye movement characteristics of the high-groups and low-groups had the following differences. Number of fixations and number of regressions were higher in high-groups. Average fixation duration and average regressive fixation duration were longer in low-groups. Fixation time for the key sentence of the article was longer in high-groups. Analysis of a scan path and post-interview, high-groups had frequent regression between sentences and they knew where the core of the article is and paid much attention there. In contrast low-groups are sequentially read most articles and some of them had a leap of abnormal range. Problem-solving approach is also different between groups. In conclusion reading style is associated with the science stories comprehension and students who had more regressions, much core search process, effective attention distribution, high concentration showed better understanding results. Also words or sentences used in textbooks are associated with science stories comprehension.

This study modified and restructured REBT career group counseling and intended to testify the effects of REBT career group counseling program on self-efficacy and career attitude maturity of career discontinued married women in thirties. The subjects were career-interrupted married women in thirties living in J city, who have elementary school students as their children and applied to our study with 3 groups. 45 subjects were randomly assigned to experimental group(REBT Group), control group1(education group for vocational counselor) and control group2(general parental education group) by the number of 15. To assess effects of 3 groups, pre-test and post-test were carried out. Results showed that the participants of REBT group showed more self-efficacy, social efficacy and total self-efficacy scores than them of 2 control groups. And they had tendency to have more sense of reality, preparedness and total career attitude maturity scores. It seems that REBT career counseling program changed their irrational beliefs into rational beliefs about course and career, increasing their self-efficacy and career attitude maturity. The meaning, limitation and future tasks were discussed.

  • The purpose of the present study is to categorize collaborative consumption intention in high school students based on providing and using collaborative consumption behaviors, to compare and analyze the factors that predict these. Data gathered from 418 high school students through an online survey were used to conduct a descriptive statistics analysis, cluster analysis, and multinomial logistic regression. Firstly, collaborative consumer intentions were classified into four groups, including a proactive group with high providing behaviors and using behaviors, an active providing group, an active using group, and a passive group with low providing and using behaviors. Secondly, mass media, social benefits, enjoyment, community effect, and reputation were revealed as factors that increased the potential for inclusion in the active groups, and home education, mass media, enjoyment, and reputation were factors that increased the potential for inclusion in the active providing group. Enjoyment was revealed as the factor that increased the potential for inclusion in the active using group. The results of the present study show that the active utilization of consumer education and a systematic approach are required to revitalize collaborative consumption and proper settlement. Furthermore, a systematic establishment of school consumer education is needed for the balanced development of collaborative consumption. Also, an environmental system in which actual expected benefits can be experienced and realized in a diverse manner should be created to encourage consumers collaborate more actively.
