This study examines children's responses on Audie music activity based on Gordon's Music Learning Method. Subjects of study were 3 five year old children(2 boys, 1 girl) in kindergarten. Data collection drew from participatory observation, researcher journal, the classroom teacher interview. Where more specific data were necessary, video and digital camera recorded. The data were described, analyzed, and interpreted. The main findings in this study are as follows : The children who participated in Audie music activity showed desirable changes in many ways. Their music listening attitude was the one that changed most remarkably. At the beginning activity application, the children were not naturally and could not listen attentively while researcher was singing song without words. Gradually children could listen attentively to the researcher's singing without words. Through the Audie music activity, the children began to think carefully the tone and rhythm of music and to express themselves freely and creatively. At the beginning activity application, the children who showed negative responses and blocked up activity became gradually able to show positive aptitude and to amuse. Also the children who showed passive attitude and no responses became gradually able to react spontaneously.
The purpose of this study was to examine how a therapeutic drumming intervention would impact middle school students with regard to school violence prevention. Participants were all in the third-year class of a middle school in Korea. A school music teacher and a music therapist designed and implemented the program collaboratively, and mainly used dyadic, synchronized, and improvisational drumming based on the Social Emotional Learning core competencies. A total of 65 students participated in a weekly 45-minute program for 10 weeks. Ten participants out of 65 were selected for interviews and the rest of the 55 participants were asked to fill out an open-ended survey. Content analysis of the survey and interviews produced 492 meaningful statements, which were categorized into seven themes: somatic responses to drumming, emotional processing, group cohesion, empathy, relationship with peers, self-esteem, and self-regulation. The findings indicated that dyadic, synchronized, and improvisational drumming may promote prosocial behaviors in students of this age. The author discussed that drumming produces physical input directly from the instruments, which prompts students to identify and empathize with their own or others' emotions. This study therefore suggests that collaborative work between school music teachers and music therapists may positively impact middle school students' prosocial behaviors, as they pertain to school violence in Korea.
The object of this study is to analyze manipulative materials in the Pattern & Algebra field of Maths300-Maths with Attitude, Australian school mathematics program with manipulative materials to search meaningful ways for school mathematics. To accomplish these projects, 20 manipulative materials in the Pattern & Algebra field of the Maths with Attitude are introduced and each manipulative materials can be used are searched according to grades and fields of Korean educational course. And 4 mathematics classes for 3rd and 5th grades(two for each grades) with manipulative materials are performed and effect of these classes are examined by recorded data and students' opinions are inquired by questionnaire. First, We analyze Pattern & Algebra of the Maths with Attitude 20 manipulative materials such as 4ARM SHAPES, ADDITION TOTALS, ICE CREAM FLAVOURS, THE LAND OF ET, etc. In this analysis, plans for utilizing the manipulative materials are categorized in 9 types. Second, by students' handling these kinds of manipulative materials in classes, their interest in mathematics is increased and voluntary and creative classes out of the conventional ones can be made. Also, students' self-confidence in mathematics and active participation is animated. This kind of manipulative materials are introduced in the educational field of elementary schools, plans for utilizing the teaching aids in the field are analyzed, the teaching aids are practically applied to classes, and the effect and meanings for mathematics classes are examined. With this research, another researches about the introduction and utilization of other various manipulative materials for motivating students to efficiently understand what they learn in mathematics class of elementary schools are required.
At the dawn of a new digital era, people's way of spending their leisure time and leisure activity preferences changed. Accordingly, Leisure culture is in the midst of change, such as watching movie and performance, enjoy golf etc. Due to its nature as an interactive medium, the digital game offers uniquely different approaches to the leisure activity. Leisure as state of mind is much more subjective in that it considers the individual's perception of an activity. In that regard, we used the digital games for leisure activity. Digital games are powerful environments for fun, including functional nature. For that reason digital leisure culture keep creative evolving. This paper proposes a serious games as a branch of digital games that meaningful digital leisure, and introduced the concept of serious games for a serious purpose other than pure entertainment. Many recent studies have identified the benefits of using serious games in a variety of purposes. Games technology is fun and entertaining for people of all ages. Ultimately, serious games become meaningful and valuable performance tools as the Digital Leisure Culture.
Although there have been continued researches on the effect of fatigue among organization members on organizations, there has been an absence of studies on sub-factors of organizational commitment using Saito(1999)'s whole questionnaire. Therefore, this study aimed to measure the level of fatigue among police officers and empirically examine the effect of fatigue on organizational commitment. Based on the previous studies, fatigue(mental fatigue and physical fatigue) of police officers and physical disharmony were selected as independent variables, and organizational commitment(affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment) was selected as a dependent variable. The meanings and the implications of this study are as follows. First, from a theoretical perspective, this study has significance as the first study, which used Saito(1999)'s whole scale and examined the relationship between sub-variables of organizational commitment in a police organization. This study also confirms the importance of fatigue management for organization managers. Second, from a perspective of organization management, this study implies that effort should be made to measure fatigue of police officers, who have 5 to 10 years of service and work as Senior patrol and sergeants and manage it actively on an organizational level, and there is a need to develop a training program for improving their attitudes towards organizations.

This study was intended to identify path structures through pathway analysis with an emphasis on the cognitive elements that influence the acculturative stress of marriage-based immigrant women. The results of the study were designed to establish a foundation for practical measures and policies to support marriage-based immigrant women to adjust their lives in the culture. This study has established research model on the path structure according to the psychological stress theory as to how social support, coping strategy, and acculturative attitude recognized as a cognitive element of marriage-based immigrant women on the acculturative stress and implement practical verification. In addition, control variables for the use of ages, education level, period of marriage, and income level of socio-demographic variables were analyzed. To obtain data for the study, convenience sampling and snowball sampling of marriage-based immigrant women that resided in the area of C and J were conducted simultaneously through surveys and applied to the analysis of 204 cases. Analysis of the path structure of influence of social support, coping strategies, and acculturative attitudes that were perceived as a cognitive element of marriage-based immigrant women influencing acculturative stress revealed that these factors were specifically weighted towards acculturative. Moreover, comprehensive acculturative attitude was identified as a crucial variable reducing the effects of acculturative stress during the acculturative procedures of marriage-based immigrant women. This assumes that establishing and performing policies supporting co-existence of homeland cultures of marriage-based immigrant women and Korean cultures might be an efficient action for dealing with acculturative stress rather than forcing them to adjust to Korean culture.

Contrary to urban development, urban regeneration is a process of land development through conservation, restoration, and management. In particular, ecologically based urban regeneration is an attempt to improve the quality of life in an area, establish a stable settlement space, and revitalize the local economy by considering the ecological environment. In this regard, the objectives of this study were to establish theoretical concepts and analyze the successful foreign cases of ecologically based urban regeneration, and propose a direction of socio-economic regeneration along with the physical-environmental regeneration of urban areas in Korea. The study results suggest the following. First, strategies must be developed to coordinate public transportation, such as buses and subways, by considering the importance of bicycle riders, along with the sustainable-commuting system. Second, both the importance of planning parks and trails around water systems in various scales while maintaining the existing natural environment as well as using natural elements, such as electric vehicles and wind-power generation systems, were emphasized. Third, urban regeneration for increased energy efficiency requires specific architectural planning and facilities. Fourth, education and research for easy access by the public, as well as public-private partnership, will be needed in the regeneration process.
The idea of global cities were widespread in the 20th century, but now in the 21st century the paradigm has changed into creative cities. They are trying to develop the creative contents in which economy and culture are connected to promote their global competitiveness. This thesis focuses on the three main points represented in the projects of publishing journals of Namyangju city. Firstly, the project held 'community-based lectures of humanities,' and 'literary contest' to induce participation of the citizens. The results of the events, however, were not successful because of the narrow extent of creative groups of the city and not enough campaign of the city. Secondly, there was the education of citizens to promote their participation, as they are so much the main parts of publishing journals that theory and practice of reporting on their own is essential. Thirdly, the project committee established citizen publishing committee and encouraged them to do their parts at each department. As a result, citizens succeeded in building cultural infrastructure for shaping the creative city and had the initiative to publish journals about masters, masterpieces, and attractions in Namyangju city. The city and the citizens should practice the culture contents projects in both sides' cooperation.

This study aimed at adult learners attended in a Junior college's Bachelor's degree course who experience job-related, relationship-related dimensions in the work life which affect the intention to skill development identified a mechanism that affects an person-job fit, person-supervisor fit relationship between conformity and intention to skill-development in the job satisfaction of the effects of the parameters was assessed. Results of this study validate the hypothesis First, person-job fit, person-supervisor fit job satisfaction the suitability appeared to affect significantly Second, job satisfaction continues to assist in the intention to skill development also appeared to influence. Modern geography in France since the end of 19th century was begun with regional geography. France after losing the Franco-Prussian war in 1871 had tried to regain the deteriorated national proudness through the colonial expansion. The social and historical contexts in France had encouraged French geographers to engage in detailed small area studies. In particular, after Blache became a faculty at Sorbonne University his idea on integrative rather than selective description on area studies had gained paradigmatic popularity not only in geography but in other disciplines. The regional geography tradition was then firmly established as a science and as an art by Vidalian school until the beginning of Second World War. However, when industrialization and urbanization were the dominant science since the 1950s spatial analytic geography has become popular research tradition replacing the previledged regional geography. Nevertheless, geography in France is still acknowledged as an interesting and valuable discipline since regional geography tradition had accumulated rich knowledges on various regions. As regional geography provides valuable information and helps to understand various world regions, it should be regenerated as a research tradition which are able to fulfill societal needs accruing nowadays. By doing this, geography can rectify its disciplinary identity which has been disintegrated internally by giving too much emphasis on specialties, and melding into nearby disciplines. Our geography education for the chorography in particular focuses mainly on the listings of simple geographic facts, in this regard. Rather than attracting students' concern and motivation, geography is considered as a subject oriented toward simply memorizing geographic facts. To overcome these problems, regional geography should be discussed openly and popularized in research. Regional geographic methods available and results produced in other countries should be introduced, and critical assessments should be made for selective acknowledgment for nurturing our regional geography.
