본 연구에서는 EBS 영어방송 및 콘텐츠를 사용하는 교사, 일반인, 학부모, 초 중등 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 EBSe의 활용 실태를 살펴보고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 영어교육 방송과 관련한 시사점을 도출하려고 한다. 총 2,488명의 응답자를 대상으로 다음의 질문에 대한 응답을 중심으로 본 연구를 진행하였다. 1. EBS 영어 방송 사용 계기 및 활용 방법은 어떠한가? 2. EBS 영어 방송 플랫폼 활용 형태와 기간 및 빈도는 어떠한가?

The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of diverse contents service of EBS providing on the multi-platform in the era of smart media. This study investigated contents service of EBS in order to seek and suggest EBS's competitiveness in the era of smart media environment. As a result, EBS is providing real-time service, VOD and e-learning, but its current contents service is concentrated on providing e-learning service. This study recommended that EBS need to reinforce contents suitable for various multi-platform uses. It also suggested EBS need to cooperate with diverse webs service and SNS service in order to widen openness of its platform, and to provide not only diverse contents, but also applications by offering mobile and on-demand contents and services. Finally, this study proposed that EBS is needed to move towards a more public and comprehensive media portal.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the educational validity of EBS education broadcasting. The purpose of science education is not only to improve metacognition, but also to make student acquire scientific knowledge. So, this study present the question of whether EBS education broadcasting could raise students' metacognition or not. At ㅂ highschool, the VOD texts provided by EBS education broadcasting was used for all curriculums including science in 2002 and 2003. It was accepted that the model wpuld be using considered VOD texts as materials and focusing on students' voluntary acting. But the students couldn't be given a stimulus raising metacognition by these models. The metacognition such as metaknowledge, metaexperience, and monitoring must be mediated during school hours for valuable science lessons. First, the manipulation such as teacher's pertinent question or comment reminding students about the materials was connected with teaming subject. Second, it is important for students to do an analogical experiment in odor to experience the reality. Third, feedback and the scripts of students' conversation must be given to students to monitor their own learning process.

The purpose of this study is to find out the direction of overseas expansion strategy that should be established as a public broadcaster and a media company in order to overseas expand Korea EBS's. This study used a literature research method to analyze the related literature and data for analyzing strategies of major global media companies and overseas public service broadcasters (PSBs). As a result of the research, it suggests that the direction of EBS overseas expansion should approach both commercial business diversification and fulfillment of public responsibility. In particular, it suggests that transferring project of Korea's educational broadcasting system to developing country should be developed as a core business for spreading overseas expansion. In a follow-up study, it is necessary to carry out a research that suggests a comprehensive strategy of overseas expansion of EBS based on the result of this study.

In order to analyze the educational effect of learning mentoring conducted for 4 weeks by the Korea Educational Broadcasting System(EBS) for elementary school students, the changes in self-directed learning skills and emotional stability were analyzed through pre-test and post-test for 27 students who participated in the EBS learning mentoring. As a result, it was found that students' self-directed learning ability and emotional stability were both improved. In addition, the students showed high satisfaction with the mentor who guided their learning and taught them. Therefore, in order to reduce the learning gap of underprivileged students in the distance learning situation, the EBS learning mentoring project should be continuously promoted, and the mentoring period and the number of students and teachers participating in mentoring should be significantly increased.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of environmental classes using EBS program on the environmental sensitivity and environmentally responsible behavior of 6th grade elementary school students. To this end, the 2015 revised elementary school curriculum was reconstructed for 6th grade students, and subject-centered environmental classes were planned, and EBS educational broadcasting environmental contents suitable for each class were applied and utilized. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, this study analyzed the 2015 revised curriculum and reorganized the 6th grade curriculum and creative experience activities to plan the 22nd environmental class, specifying environmental sensitivity and environmentally responsible behavior that can have a positive impact on learners in each class. EBS educational broadcasting environmental contents that can be utilized were selected and environmental classes were conducted using them. Second, it was found that environmental classes using EBS educational broadcasting had a significant effect on improving the environmental sensitivity of elementary school students. The fact that environmental classes using EBS educational broadcasting goes beyond the spatial limitations of schools and informs that global citizens are interested in environmental problems and are working to solve environmental problems. Third, it was found that environmental classes using EBS educational broadcasting had a significant effect on elementary school students' environmentally responsible behavior. This is because environmental classes using EBS educational broadcasting do not stop at imparting knowledge, but suggest learning that leads to civic behavior, educational behavior, economic behavior, physical behavior, and persuasive behavior related to the environment.

This study aims at an objective analysis of the EBS lecture program for the national scholastic achievement examination (NSAE) that started from April 1, 2004. To this end, it obtained and analyzed related data which are archived in the EBS NSAE lecture system under the assistance from EBS. More specifically, it analyzed the practices of lecturer placement and student members. Also, the practices of use of lectures were analyzed by years, and the economical value from the use of the EBS NSAE lecture program was estimated through the comparison with the level of tuitions for private online institutes. In addition, this study diagnosed the properness in counselor placement through an analysis of the use of the web forum, and analyzed the practices of the nonsul (essay-type examination) program in order to identify the coping strategies of EBS with regard to the introduction of a new system for 2008 university entrance system. As a result of the analysis, this study presents various ways to improve the EBS NSAE lecture program.

The purpose of this study is to further develop the strategies using EBS clipbank service and investigate the their effects of the science academic emotion on the student's attitude toward science. Clipbank is service for educational purpose. EBS provides clipbank that holds about 210,000 video clips made from EBS programs. Two class of 6th grade were selected and instructed. Implementing and using the teaching strategies, a test was administered to examine the science academic emotion of the students effects using clipbank teaching. It had two rounds for inspection about operation of the strategies with curriculum. In the second research, by re-supplying a more sophisticated program strategy from first in putting feedback. The result of analyzing the test was as follows. First, elementary teachers can be used in class to take advantage of a variety of educational materials clipbank contents. Result of teachers survey, clipbank teaching was effective and teachers who using clipbank service will be the continue utilize clipbank. Second, the strategy for using clipbank teaching was effective on student's science academic emotion. And strategy was effective significantly different depending on gender. In conclusion, the strategy for using clipbank teaching, made students feel that learning science was interesting. A lot of reseaches give that science can provide the ideas as a metheod to educational web-sites, educational web-sites can provide creative ideas to science learning strategy, but it is still lacking that research can be applied to education specifically on how to. This study will help elementary teachers adjust teaching to help students learn science with positive emotions.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the educational effect of learning mentoring conducted by EBS for elementary and middle school students, the changes in self-directed learning skills, emotional stability and learning effect were analyzed for 425 students who participated in the EBS learning mentoring. As a result, There was no statistically significant difference in the educational effect according to the mentoring service period, method, and frequency, and there was a statistically significant difference in self-directed learning ability according to the mentoring time. As a result of analyzing the effect of the perception of the mentor on the educational effect, the more positive the mentor and the more positive the mentor role, the higher the self-directed learning ability and emotional stability. As for the learning effect, mentoring satisfaction had the greatest influence on the learning effect of Korean, English, and mathematics. The mentor role was affecting the Korean language and mathematics. Therefore, in order to reduce the learning gap of underprivileged students in the distance learning situation, the EBS learning mentoring project should be continuously promoted, and the mentoring period and the number of students and teachers participating in mentoring should be significantly increased.
